BeetElite Review: Ingredients, Dosages, Serving Costs

BeetElite is a sports nutritional supplement containing beet powder, produced by the US-based company, HumanN.

Although the formula is marketed towards athletes, the brand claims that it will provide benefits for all. It’s supposed to promote nitric oxide production, improve exercise performance, boost energy levels, push toxins from the body, and more.

BeetElite is Informed-Sport Certified, gluten-free, vegetarian friendly, and non-GMO.

HumanN is a popular supplement brand both in the US and globally, and since BeetElite is one of the most popular supplements produced by the brand, I’m keen to take a closer look at it.

If you’re thinking of purchasing the BeetElite formula, or you also want to take a closer look at it, check out my full HumanN BeetElite review below.

What is BeetElite?

I’ve reviewed a few Humann products before and I really like the company’s website. The aesthetic is more like a pharmacy website, with a very medical feel. However, the products the company sells suit the sleek and medical-style branding.

BeetElite also looks promising – there’s a lot of information about the formula’s benefits on the product page, there’s science that backs up the formula’s claims, and there are sleek, bright images all over the page!

So, I’m excited to take a closer look at the formula and see if it really is as good as it looks.

Background on HumanN

HumanN was founded in 2009, but was originally called Neogenis Laboratories. The company is well known for providing nitric oxide supplements, such as the Neo40. However, it also produces superfood powders and vitamin chews.

BeetElite is one of the most popular sports supplements produced by the company, with the Superbeets formula being a similar beet supplement that is marketed as a more functional food powder.

BeetElite Benefits

HumanN actually provides a lot of information about the benefits associated with the the formula, which is wonderful news! Although the formula is marketed specifically towards athletes, it’s also beneficial for those who are not exercise enthusiasts too!

The BeetElite formula is supposed to improve exercise performance, boost energy levels, promote nitric oxide production, push toxins from the body, provide vitamin C, support immunity, and improve respiratory health.

BeetElite Ingredients

BeetElite only contains 6 ingredients, including flavoring and sweetening ingredients.

Although the nutrients label is clear, the ingredients are not fully disclosed. Therefore, It’s completely unclear how much of each ingredient, and more importantly how much beetroot, actually exists within the formula.

This isn’t great transparency from the brand!

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the BeetElite ingredients:

  • Non-GMO Beetroot Powder, Non-GMO Beetroot Powder (Fermented), Natural Black Cherry Flavor, Malic Acid, Magnesium Ascorbate, and Stevia Leaf Extract.

Here is the supplement label:

How does BeetElite Taste?

BeetElite is Black Cherry flavored. The formula is flavored with natural cherry flavoring and sweetened with stevia extract. Surprisingly for a beets supplement, reviews concerning the taste of the formula are, for the most part, quite positive!

Side Effects

BeetElite has no side effects. However, with every nutritional supplement, I would suggest that anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or with a medical condition, should consult a doctor before consuming this supplement.

In addition, beets may lower blood pressure and therefore if you already have low blood pressure you should also consult a doctor before consuming BeetElite or any other beetroot supplements.

Does BeetElite Work?

The BeetElite formula has a clear nutritional label. However, there’s no information about the exact amount of beetroot powder in the formula since the formula also contains other flavoring ingredients.

However, we can assume that since the serving size is 10g, the amount of beetroot powder within BeetElite is probably just less than 10g.

Unfortunately, it’s not ideal that the brand doesn’t provide information about the amount of beetroot powder per serving, since it makes it difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula.

It’s also unclear if the beetroot powder will actually promote the production of nitric oxide and improve performance.

The formula provides a substantial dose of beetroot, but it’s still unclear whether the formula will actually provide significant health benefits

However, there’s not actually a standard recommended dose of beetroot powder. In fact, most beet supplements only provide 5g of beetroot powder serving, such as the HumanN SuperBeets powder.

Overall, it’s unclear whether the formula will actually provide significant health benefits since the only active ingredient within the formula is beetroot and that doesn’t have a recommended dose!

However, this powder does provide a higher dose of beets than most on the market do and therefore may promote higher levels of nitric oxide production than other formulas do! Think of this formula as a more potent version of the HumanN SuperBeets formula.

BeetElite Reviews

There’s a selection of unbiased customer reviews on the BeetElite product page on the HumanN website, which is refreshing to see. However, there are also reviews of the formula on Amazon and typically I look on there to see honest customer reviews.

So, let’s do that!

Overall, there are 42 ratings of the formula and it has an overall score of 4.7 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

WONDERFUL! Has made a big difference lowering my blood pressure!5-star review

I've only been taking 2 scoops per day for a week. I have not felt any energy improvement but it may be too soon. The taste takes some getting use to – I mix mine with vanilla protein powder and fiber to make it palatable.3-star review

Haven't got no change in blood pressure or energy yet only been taking about two weeks.2-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

HumanN offers a 90-day money-back guarantee on all of its products.

Where to buy BeetElite?

You can buy the BeetElite formula on the HumanN website and on Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of BeetElite contains 20 servings of formula.

You can either purchase the BeetElite formula on a one-time purchase, or on a subscription option. Additionally, if you buy multiple tubs, you receive a discount.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of BeetElite costs $39.95. This works out at a cost per serving of $2.00.

On a subscription, one tub of BeetElite costs $34.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.75.

The cheapest option is buying 4 tubs on a subscription option – if you buy 4 tubs, you get 2 free! If you choose this option, the cost per serving works out at $1.08.

When you buy multiple formulas on a subscription, the formula works out at a cheap cost per serving.

However, other than that, I feel like the formula is a little too expensive due to the fact that there are multiple reviews saying the formula didn’t make a difference and the ingredients label is not fully disclosed.

BeetElite Verdict

Although BeetElite is slightly expensive and doesn’t have a fully disclosed label, it does provide a much higher dose of beetroot than other beet supplements on the market do.

Therefore, it is likely to promote higher levels of nitric oxide than other beet supplements do.

So, if you’re specifically looking for a beet supplement, this may be a great choice for you!

However, if you’re looking for an all-rounder super reds supplement or have a slightly lower budget, you may want to look elsewhere!
