Cymbiotika Heart Health Review: Is It Worth The Price?

Heart health is one of the most important aspects of overall health. Without a strong, healthy heart, everything else just falls apart!

That’s where Cymbiotika’s Heart Health comes in. Heart Health is a super reds cardiovascular supplement that works by lowering cholesterol. The brand even claims Heart Health can reduce your heart attack risk.

But these are big claims…can it really? Let’s take a closer look.

The Brand Behind Heart Health

Pronounced “sym-bi-ot-ik-uh,” Cymbiotika’s goal is to live “in harmony within oneself, nature, and all humanity” — and help its customers do the same.

The brand rightly explains that, while whole foods are the very best medicine, peoples’ diets are often devoid of the nutrients they once contained.

So Cymbiotika set out to make supplements that could “fill nutritional gaps” and thereby provide people with optimal health. They favor whole-food-derived substances over isolated compounds.

Better still, Cybmiotika does all this without taking normal industry shortcuts.

We recognized an alarming lack of transparency in the supplement industry

The brand explains, including “ products full of fillers, toxins and synthetic ingredients.”

Cymbiotika soon set out to do things differently. By combining science-backed principles with traditional Eastern medicine, their formulas are claimed to synergize with the human body. “It’s time to get to the root of your health,” Cymbiotika explains — a concept their supplements are all about.

What is Heart Health?

Cymbiotika’s Heart Health is a blend of Coenzyme Q10, red yeast rice, and other anti-inflammatory ingredients.

Unlike most CoQ10 supplements, Heart Health isn’t a capsule or powder. It comes in the form of a water-based gel, almost like a gogurt or applesauce packet. Users simply take one full packet of this gel each day.

Cymbiotika claims their supplement may:

  • Lower serum cholesterol
  • Lower LDL cholesterol
  • Aid the digestive system
  • Improve liver function
  • Reduce the risk of heart attack

Cymbiotika Heart Health: Key Ingredients

Cymbiotika’s Heart Health supplement has 5 key active ingredients and 11 secondary ingredients. Some of these secondary ingredients are pretty active too, though. Here’s a closer look.

Heart Health active ingredients

Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone), Red Yeast Rice, Inositol, Careflow® (Organic Mango Fruit Powder), Pomegranate Extract

True to their mission, Cymbiotika fully discloses the exact amount of each of these active ingredients in their product. You won’t find any proprietary formulas here. That gets them bonus points with us!

Heart Health secondary ingredients

Purified Water, Glycerin, Organic Almond Oil, Citrus Pectin, Konjac Root, Phosphatidylcholine, Malic Acid, Organic Vanilla Extract, Orange Oil, Vitamin E (as D-Alpha Tocopherol), Organic Citrus Extract

Don’t be too quick to assume that these secondary ingredients are completely inactive. The phosphatidylcholine and vitamin E listed above most definitely impact heart health, too.

Consumption of foods rich in vitamin E has been associated with lower risk of coronary heart disease in middle-aged to older men and women,” a 2010 study explains. “Clinical studies at large have not demonstrated a benefit of vitamin E in the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. Vitamin E supplementation might be associated with an increase in total mortality, heart failure, and hemorrhagic stroke.Source

Cymbiotika Hearth Health: Potential Benefits

Cymboiotika makes some pretty hefty claims regarding the efficacy of Heart Health. On the plus side, they do use the term “may” to qualify their statements:

  • May improve cardiovascular health
  • May balance cholesterol levels over time
  • May support circulation and healthy aging

Last but not least, Cymbiotika says Heart Health becomes even more effective when paired with their omega 3 supplement. This is a pretty reasonable claim considering that omega-3’s are also clinically shown to be good for the heart.

But does science back up these claims?

Let’s find out by determining if Heart Health’s active ingredients have been shown to impact, well, heart health.

CoQ10

A large body of research reports that CoQ10, a natural antioxidant, may benefit those with cardiovascular disease (CVD).

It may be able to reduce blood pressure, reduce cholesterol, and reduce your chance of heart attacks. CoQ10’s “significant cardiovascular protective effects” may help prevent CVD in the first place. Source)

Red Yeast Rice

Red yeast rice is one of the most interesting ingredients in Heart Health.

Known as Monascus purpureus, this powdered yeast is a dietary staple in Asia and traditional Chinese medicine. Red yeast rice contains several compounds that may lower cholesterol levels, notably monacolin K.

More specifically, red yeast rice may reduce your body’s levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and triglycerides. This is the very same ingredient that powers many prescription cholesterol-lowering drugs.

People have been taking red yeast rice for high cholesterol and heart disease for decades — if not centuries.

Inositol

Inositol is a naturally-occurring sugar that most living creatures use to store energy. Studies show that inositol may benefit people with symptoms of metabolic syndrome, including CVD and type 2 diabetes.

Organic Mango Fruit Powder

Heart Health also contains a mango fruit powder they call Careflow®. This powder is unusually high in polyphenols and other potent antioxidants. Whether or not these antioxidants make it through the digestive tract intact, however, isn’t clear. (source)

Rodent studies involving mangoes are pretty promising. However: “[…] relative to the control snack, mangos may improve certain risk factors associated with overweight and obesity including improved glycemic control and reduced inflammation,” one 2022 study explained. (Source)

What do customers say about Heart Health?

Customers like Heart Health, too. Most of them say it tastes great and gives them a feeling of inner vitality and strength.

I enjoy the flavor — it's like an orange creamsicle,” one happy customer says. “I was attracted to this product to see if it could help my plan ( in conjunction with other things) to normalize my cholesterol panel. Not that it's super bad but even away from the borderline area as well. Stay tuned.

I take this daily along with other Cymbiotika vitamins and minerals,” another person explains. “Watch their videos on YouTube or website to get a full detail about how they operate to deliver high quality stuff with high absorption. Expensive products but worth it for the quantity and quality especially if your anti-aging mission is a priority.

The only caveat?

Heart Health hasn’t been on the market for long enough to gather long-term reviews. As the first customer review said, “we really just have to stay tuned to observe Heart Health’s long-term benefits.”

Customer support gets an A+ from us, too. The moment you visit Cymbiotika’s website, a pop-up appears. “We are grateful for your interest in achieving optimal health,” it says. “How can we help you today?”

We only read one bad review for Heart Health.

Delish…but far too expensive for my budget to regularly use, as I'd hoped to do

Speaking of cost, here are the details on Heart Health’s price.

How much does Heart Health cost?

Heart Health costs $56 for 30 packs — a month-long supply. That’s equal to roughly $1.87 per day.

You can save 10% by subscribing, bringing your cost down to $50.40 per month. That’s equal to roughly $1.68 per day.

Cymbiotika’s Heart Health: Where to Buy

Buy on the Cymbiotika website here or on Amazon here, though it may not always be available on Amazon.

Cymbiotika Heart Health: My Verdict

Cymbiotika’s Heart Health gets a passing grade from us. At first glance its claims might seem a little overconfident…but it turns out that most-if-not-all of these claims are actually rooted in science.

Heart Health’s transparency is rock-solid, too. The company bucks industry trends by fully disclosing the precise amounts of each and every active ingredient in its product.

Only time will tell if customers can bring Heart Health’s claimed benefits from theory to practice. Perhaps that’s Heart Health’s only downside: it’s hasn’t been around long enough to have a super-solid track record.

Hopefully, we’ll become even bigger fans of this Cymbiotika supplement in the future!
