Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend is a superfood supplement that claims with only one scoop of the formula mixed in water, you can receive 22 servings of organic fruits and vegetables. These claims are backed by a certified naturopathic doctor and ayurvedic functional medicine practitioner Dr. Stephen Cabral.
From fruit and vegetable extracts to enzymes, antioxidants, and healing herbs, the formula is packed with an array of impressive ingredients, the majority of which are organic, and all are non-GMO.
The blend claims to increase energy levels, improve mood, benefit overall health, and better the appearance of skin, hair, and nails.
I’m looking forward to diving deeper into the Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend and seeing if this formula is as impressive as it seems to say on paper. So, let’s do exactly that – read one for my full Equilibrium greens review below.
First Impression of Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend
Equilibrium Nutrition is an incredibly sleek and informative brand. As well as selling a wide range of supplements that cater to the entire family, the brand also offers one on one health coaching.
I was really impressed at the fact the website also offers test kits and coaching for a multitude of issues.
For example, they offer food sensitivity tests, heavy metal tests, and minerals tests, each accompanied by a 30-minute coaching call.
The only thing that I feel could be a bit of a let down is the fact the branding, although minimal and polished does look a little plain and clinical, so it might put certain people off, especially those that are taking a superfood formula for the first time.
Background on Equilibrium Nutrition
Equilibrium Nutrition was founded in 2018 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Cabral, the founder of the brand, is a specialist in over 15 areas of practice and has the certifications to prove it. With his professional standing, the brand is in good hands and has grown quickly since incorporation.
As well as the popular Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend, Equilibrium produces a large number of supplements, from anxiety and mood formulas to fatty acids and vitamins in liquid form.
Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend Ingredients
Each scoop of the formula is 10.4 grams and contains 24 ingredients, 17 of which are organic.
All of these ingredients are split into 5 proprietary blends – Superfood Proprietary Blend (3g), Organic Vegetable Proprietary Blend (3g), Organic Fruit Proprietary Blend (2.6g) Antioxidant Proprietary Blend (206mg), Enzyme Proprietary Blend (118mg).
It’s a real shame that the product contains so many impressive ingredients but uses proprietary blends, as it means we will never know how much of each ingredient actually resides in each scoop.
Although the formula does contain organic ingredients, it can’t be certified organic, as 95% of the ingredients are not organic.
- Superfood Proprietary Blend (3g) – Organic Spirulina, Organic Barley Grass Juice, Organic Wheat Grass, Organic Chlorella, Organic Nettle Leaf.
- Organic Vegetable Proprietary Blend (3g) – Organic Carrot, Organic Beetroot, Organic Tomato, Organic Kale, Organic Spinach, Organic Parsley, Organic Broccoli, Organic Cauliflower.
- Organic Fruit Proprietary Blend (2.6g) – Organic Cranberry, Organic Apple, Organic Raspberry, Organic Blueberry, Camu Camu Fruit Extract.
- Antioxidant Proprietary Blend (206mg) – Grape Seed Extract, Grape Skin Extract.
- Enzyme Proprietary Blend (118mg) – Cellulase, Protease, Amylase, Lipase.
In addition, the only vitamin and minerals that have a breakdown on the ingredients list are Iron and Sodium.
This formula is non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free. It’s also Good Manufacturing Practice Certified.
How does Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend Taste?
Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend are available in both the Crisp Apple flavor and unflavoured.
To produce the Crisp Apple flavor guar gum, citric acid, rebaudioside, rice hull concentrate, and malic acid are used.
The unflavoured formula doesn’t have an overpowering taste of grass-like some superfood powders can have, and the Crisp apple flavor is refreshing and can easily be enjoyed simply with water.
There are no warnings or side effects mentioned by Equilibrium nutrition, and it’s very unlikely that consuming this formula will produce any side effects.
However, obviously, if you are allergic to any of the ingredients side effects may occur. Always double check ingredients label before consuming if you have any allergens or intolerances.
If you aren’t used to consuming a superfood formula, you may experience upset stomach the first few times you use this product, like all superfood formulas due to the increase in nutrients including fiber.
Does Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend Work?
There are some impressive ingredients within this blend, such as the super green favorites Spirulina and Chlorella. So, at first glance, it looks like this formula is promising and should work.
However, the formula is made up of proprietary blends which means we have no idea how much of each specific ingredient resides in the formula, meaning you might not be receiving the correct amount of any ingredient for it to actually produce results.
This can be proved if we take a look at the Superfood Proprietary Blend.
Ingredients legally have to be listed in the weighting size, and Spirulina is the first ingredient listed in this blend. The recommended daily of Spirulina is 2-3g, according to Healthline professionals (source).
This entire blend only contains 3g, for all of the ingredients.
Therefore, the amount of Spirulina in here is likely to be sufficient. Also, if this is the largest amount of ingredient within this formula, it’s pretty much guaranteed that amount of other ingredients won’t be sufficient.
Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend Reviews
Taking a look on Amazon at the product, it has an overall rating of 4.7 stars, from 13 reviews. Everyone that’s reviewed the product seems to really enjoy the taste, and the only negative review comes from someone that experienced stomach upset from the formula.
Here’s a selection of the reviews:
When the new Crisps apple flavor came out I wasn’t sure if I wanted to switch, because the original wasn’t bad at all and mixed great with smoothies. However, once I tried Crisp Apple I started separating the smoothie and the green juice because I wanted to appreciate it by itself!! I don’t know what magic they did, but perhaps the bit of malic acid added in, but it tastes definitely like apple juice without the high spikes in blood sugar or double-digit sugar content you find elsewhere. Delicious.5-star review
I love to use Equilibrium Nutrition’s Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend each morning and this crisp apple flavor just brings it to the next level. I know I am doing so much for my overall health by getting into these 22 certified organic superfoods. Highly Recommend!5-star review
Sweetener used in this product causes me to have diarrhea, so I’ve discontinued use. I think if others don’t have this problem when taking it each day it is a great product. For me, it’s a no.3-star review

Where to buy Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend?
Is it Worth The Price?
One tub of Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend is $69.95, and you can save 15% if you choose to subscribe to the product monthly, taking the price down to $59.46.
Cost per serving, at 10.4g, works out at $2.33 if on a one time purchase and $1.98 on a subscription. This is on the more expensive side for a superfood powder, but it’s still reasonable.
Equilibrium ships the product all over the US for a flat-rate fee of $4.95, and to selected worldwide countries for an undisclosed price, as it depends on what you order and where they are shipping to.
If you spend over $99.00 and are ordering to the US, you can benefit from free delivery.
Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend is clearly a popular product, due to it having such an array of great reviews and the brand having such success in such a short amount of time.
The ingredients within the formula are powerful and the fact the majority of them are organic is a bonus. The brand is also trustworthy and clearly well run. However, it’s disappointing that the formula contains proprietary blends, and there are better brands out there that showcase each ingredient within their formulas.
Equilibrium Daily Fruit and Vegetable Blend is an okay product from a professional, trusted brand, but it just doesn’t quite hit the spot for me, and the underdosing makes it very hard for me to say I would recommend it. Take a look at other options out there.
LifeHacker Guy Greens Recommendation
Please give me a few moments to shamelessly introduce my brand, SuperGreen TONIK.
I have researched a lot (and I mean a lot) of super greens out there but was disappointed with most of the ones I tried.
So, I went out and created my own with the help of a USA manufacturer because I wanted to ensure I got all my veggie goodness in the right amounts, and of course within a no-fuss single serving each day.
None of the other brands offered that.
Its the best out there (of course I would say that about my own), but let me tell you why...
- No hidden ingredient amounts - we have full disclosure labelling, so you know EXACTLY whats inside
- Sufficient ingredient amounts to make a difference - we include at least (if not more of) the minimum effective amounts supported by research
- Ingredients that also could boost mental clarity and shake off brain fog - to boost my at work and home
After many months I finally got a greens formula that fuels my body and mind for the day ahead.
But please dont JUST take my word for it, make up your own decision by checking out my review. (I TRY BE BE AS UNBIASED AS POSSIBLE )
