IT Works Super Reds Review: Ingredients, Dosages, Serving Costs

IT Works Super Reds is a beet and berry superfood supplement that claims to provide a rich source of vitamins and antioxidants. I am curious if this “super reds” formula is actually super or a dud!

Each sip of this reds supplement claims to combine the nutritional powerhouse of reds, blues, and violet berries for your all-in-one source of antioxidants.

I have seen this claim before though and have gotten a little skeptical until I have read the ingredients label.

So, if you are considering bumping up your antioxidant intake with a reds check out my IT Works Super Reds review, to see if this could be a contender or just a pretender!

What is IT Works Super Reds?

IT Works Super reds is a supplement that contains fruits, berries, superfoods, and added vitamins/minerals to help your skin, brain, and body maintain a healthy, balanced defense against damaging free radicals.

As I seen when reviewing greens supplements there is a wide-range of products and even the companies IT Works Greens brand, the formula is made-up of proprietary blends and so we don't know the dosages of the individual ingredients we're consuming.

That said, some of the ingredients are familiar and I know they have wonderful health benefits when taken in the recommended dosages.

Background on IT Works

It Works! is a multilevel marketing company that encourages distributors to sign up other people to sell underneath them. This business model is a popular way to market products online and is the reason why this business model has flourished in recent years.

Other supplement companies like Juice Plus, Forever Living, and the most popular one Herbalife, use this method.

I am not a fan of this marketing approach, as I wouldn't say I like the idea of selling to family and friends and then recruiting them to be your own sales army. We see a lot of this selling in SE Asia.

Anyone pushing a brand, be it a supplement or otherwise, I am inclined not to buy from them.

Each serving size is around 6 grams in total which includes the two proprietary blends and eight vitamins and minerals added to the formula.

We can see all the ingredients within the proprietary blend but the individual ingredient amounts are not known.

How does IT Works Super Reds Taste?

You mix one packet of IT Works Reds into 8oz of water or juice and consume straight away.

The flavor is wild cherry which is a little sweet although it has no added sugars. It reminded me of the taste of Organifi Red Juice.

The taste is okay and is okay to drink and most people should find this palatable.

Side Effects

There will unlikely be any side effects from consuming this supplement but if you are taking any medication or have a pre-existing medical condition then you should seek medical advice first.

Does IT Works Super Reds Work?

As with all reds powders, the main benefit is to protect against free-radical and oxidative damage in the body by supplying an abundant dose of antioxidants.

With these products being berry-rich there can be a load of vitamins and minerals too that can help support the body's immune system.

The IT Works reds formula is based on two proprietary blends; “Polyphenol Antioxidant Blend” and the “Prebiotic Blend”.

The biggest ingredient in the Polyphenol blend is beetroot, an ingredient I have written a lot about the health benefits of beets (in fact, 12 of them!).

Beetroot is high in nitrates and Vitamin C which is why it's a popular choice for athletes and older consumers looking to improve cardiovascular health.

The dosages vary considerably in supplements and because many hide the amounts in proprietary formulas it's difficult to establish if sufficient amounts are present in IT Works Super Reds.

..berries in the formula have vitamins, minerals, and polyphenols, it's just unclear how much we're really getting.

The remaining berries in the formula have vitamins, minerals, and polyphenols, it's just unclear how much we're really getting.

The “Prebiotic Blend” is rich in prebiotic fibers such as Inulin and several fruit fibers that can assist the gut health.

Most superfood powders I have researched have around 1gram of fiber and so it's good to see it's higher in this product.

So to answer if IT Works Reds will help you look and feel younger, I have my doubts.

What we do know though, is if your diet is low in vitamins and minerals then taking this reds supplement could certainly help.

IT Works Super Reds Reviews

I was unable to find any customer reviews on the official website or their Amazon store at the time of writing my review.

It's very unusual not to have any feedback and so I can only assume it's an updated product?

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

IT Works! refund policy on the official website is a 24-page document now (up from 17 pages when I first reviewed their products) to cover the different regions around the world.

What is clear from looking at the US returns policy is that there is no money-back guarantee as such but customers can return the unused product as long as “all products must be post-marked within 30-days of the original shipping date.

Where to buy IT Works Super Reds?

You can buy IT Works Reds from the official website if you are a loyal customer.

Is It Worth The Price?

You can buy IT Works Reds in 30, 60, or 90 servings ranging from $47 to $93 ($67 – $155 RRP) if you're a loyal customer.

This makes the daily serving cost range from $1.33 – $2.33 and so it's clear it's significantly cheaper to be a “loyal customer”.

Overall the price is okay, although if I was paying $2.33 per serving, I would be inclined to look at other similarly priced reds supplements that offer more antioxidants for your buck.

The Bottom Line

I like the branding of IT works since they have updated their logo and packaging, but I am still not a fan of the company and business model.

This does clearly work for some people as they have been running a “successful” company for some time but their supplement underwhelms me.

There are some nice ingredients in the formula, but we do not know the dosages. I would look elsewhere for a reds supplement with so many other brands on offer at similar price points.
