KaraMD is a popular supplement company and with Revive Reds being one of its best-sellers, I’m keen to take a closer look at it to see if it really can pack a punch.

What is KaraMD Revive Reds?
I like the KaraMD website. It features a wide range of informative and impactful content, it’s professionally designed, and the customer reviews all over the site are a nice touch too!
Looking at the Revive Reds formula, however, I’m a little disappointed. The product page is really lacking information about both the ingredients with the formula and its benefits of it – the formula just doesn’t seem to be marketed well.
Hopefully, when I take a closer look at the formula I’ll be a little more impressed.

However, there is a little more information on the Revive Reds product page on Amazon. On there, the brand claims that Revive Reds is an energy-boosting supplement.
They also claim that the formula will improve cognitive function, provide antioxidant benefits, better metabolism, and support the immune system.
KaraMD Revive Reds Ingredients
The KaraMD Revive Reds formula contains 20 individual ingredients in total. However, all of these ingredients are split between and exist within three proprietary blends.
Therefore, it’s unclear how much of each ingredient actually resides within the formula.
However, not to panic, I’ll be taking a closer look at and working out the efficacy of the formula later on!
First, let’s take a look at the ingredients!

How does KaraMD Revive Reds Taste?
The Revive Reds formula has a mixed berry flavor and is sweetened with stevia extract.
However, the formula also contains maltodextrin and cassava dextrin. Both maltodextrin and cassava dextrin have high glycemic index levels and therefore can cause spikes in blood sugar levels, which is certainly concerning.
Reviews concerning the taste of the formula are mixed.
Some people appreciate the sweetness of the formula, whereas others claim all they can taste is stevia.
However, it does seem as though the formula doesn’t have a pungent taste in regards to the flavors of the ingredients within the blends, which is good news for people that aren’t keen on natural tasting formulas.

KaraMD suggests that anyone who is under 18, pregnant, nursing, on medication, or with a medical condition should consult a doctor before consuming the Revive Reds formula.
Does KaraMD Revive Reds Work?
KaraMD Revive Reds contains 20 main ingredients. All of these ingredients exist within proprietary blends – this means we cannot see the amount of each ingredient within the formula.
Due to the fact that it’s unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, it’s hard to work out the efficacy of the formula.
However, we can take a look at the amount of each blend and the recommended doses of the ingredients within the blend to see if it’s possible for them to be sufficiently dosed (and therefore, effective).
The Polyphenol Blend totals 2,667mg. However, the combined recommended dose of just three of the ingredients, tart cherry extract, hibiscus flower, and grape seed extract totals 3450mg.
Therefore, it’s clear to see that not all of the ingredients within this blend are sufficiently dosed.
There are no ingredients within the Prebiotic Digestive Support Blend that have recommended doses and therefore it’s impossible to say if these ingredients are sufficiently or insufficiently dosed.
However, the turmeric within the Metabolic Support Blend does have a recommended dose of between 500–2,000 mg.
Therefore, since this blend only totals 175mg, this ingredient is also not sufficiently dosed.
Overall, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this formula are sufficiently dosed.
Therefore, these ingredients may not provide benefits to the consumer, since they’re underdosed, meaning the formula may not be as effective as the consumer would like to think.

The first ingredient is stevia and it has a LOT. I was told my a test of my gut flora that this type of product might be helpful, so I got this and added a scoop to my morning smoothie. It is so disgustingly sweet and gross it ruined the smoothie–even my cat would not drink it (and it is kefir, milk-based). Is It Worth The Price?
One tub of KaraMD Revive Reds contains 30 servings of formula.
Although KaraMD doesn’t have a subscription option like most supplement brands offer, if you buy several tubs of the formula, you receive discount.
One tub of KaraMD Revive Reds costs $34.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.17.
If you buy three, each tub costs $31.46 This works out at a cost per serving of $1.05.
If you buy four, each tub costs $27.96. This works out at a cost per serving of $0.93.
Although the formula is fairly inexpensive, I’m unsure whether it is worth the price that it’s sold at due to the fact that a number of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed.
My Final Verdict
Although Revive Reds might be a KaraMD best-seller, I have to say, I’m not overly impressed by the formula.
Although it’s a cheap formula that contains a wide range of potentially powerful ingredients, the fact that the formula definitely contains a number of ingredients that are not sufficiently dosed concerns me.
Personally, I like to know that if I’m consuming a formula, all of the ingredients are going to be sufficiently dosed and therefore I’m going to benefit from the formula in the ways I’m supposed to.
However, with this formula, that cannot be confirmed.
Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend the KaraMD Revive Reds formula.
If you’re looking for a powerful reds formula, I would recommend purchasing one that has a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.
