Life Wild Oriental Greens review

Life Wild Oriental Greens Review

Life Wild Oriental Greens is a super greens powder that contains fruit, herbal extracts, adaptogens, and probiotics.

The formula is supposed to boost energy levels, push toxins from the body, improve digestion, and more. It’s also supposed to provide a variety of micronutrients.

Oriental Greens is a USDA-certified organic, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, and vegan formula and has, therefore, been made suitable for a wide range of people.

Life Wild is a relatively new supplement company that produces superfood powders, and I’m keen to take a closer look at the greens formula, in particular, to see if this small business really packs a punch!

What is Life Wild Oriental Greens?

I really like the Life Wild website. The branding is modern, sleek, and refined, and the visuals are nice too!

However, seeing more content on the website, whether a blog or more information about the company would be nice.

Looking at the Oriental Greens formula, I have similar first impressions. The supplement looks great. I like the branding – it’s wonderfully colored and the typography – it looks smart!

However, the product page lacks informative content, which is a shame.

Background on Life Wild Foods

Life Wild Foods is a small, independent business based in New York. Although there isn’t much information on the company, it seems it was founded at the beginning of 2020.

The company specifically produces superfood powders in its “Rainbow Collection” – alongside the Oriental Greens formula, there’s a Mediterranean Reds formula and a Rainforest Ambers formula.

Life Wild Oriental Greens Benefits

There’s not a long list of benefits associated with the formula, which seems odd for a formula with so many potent ingredients.

Life Wild Oriental Greens are supposed to provide high energy levels all day, promote detox, support digestion, and improve the immune system, improving overall wellbeing.

Life Wild Oriental Greens Ingredients

Life Wild Oriental Greens contain 25 ingredients, not including flavoring ingredients and sweeteners.

The ingredients label is not fully disclosed and the formula contains proprietary blends, meaning it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This means it's difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula. However, I’ll be looking more closely into the formula's efficacy later in this review. First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Life Wild Oriental Greens ingredients:

  • Cruciferous Cleanse Mix – 2,700mg –Organic Kale Leaf, Organic Spinach Leaf, Organic Parsley Leaf, Organic Cabbage Leaf, Organic Broccoli Sprouts, Organic Radish Sprouts, Organic Onion.
  • Goodness Grasses Mix – 2,200mg –Organic Barley Grass Juice 21:1, Organic Alfalfa Grass Juice 21:1, Organic Barley Grass 10:1, Organic Alfalfa Grass 10:1.

How does Life Wild Oriental Greens Taste?

Oriental Greens is natural orange flavoring and sweetened with stevia leaf extract.

Although some customers think that the formula tastes pleasant and there are no hints of grassiness, others think the formula tastes pungent and bitter. Therefore, this formula's taste is very much about personal preference.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Oriental Greens. However, the brand does suggest consulting your doctor before consuming the capsules.

However, the brand suggests that if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Life Wild Greens Work?

The Oriental Greens formula does not have a fully disclosed label and comprises proprietary blends. Therefore, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, making it very difficult to work out its efficacy.

However, we can look at the proprietary blend amounts and compare them to the recommended doses of the ingredients within these blends to try and estimate whether the formula will be effective.

Although many of the proprietary blends within the formula do not contain ingredients that have standard recommended doses, we can look at the ones that do.

The Digestive Wellness Mix totals 1,500mg and the recommended dose of papaya powder is 1,000 mg and the recommended dose of Jerusalem Artichoke is600mg (minimum), meaning not all of the ingredients within the blend may be sufficiently dosed.

The Energizing Algae Mix totals 1,000mg, but the combined recommended dose of spirulina and chlorella totals 3g.

Therefore, it’s clear that ingredients within this blend are unlikely to all be sufficiently dosed too.

…all of the ingredients can’t be sufficiently dosed.

Looking at the Japanese Tea Mix, although there isn’t a standard recommended dose of matcha powder, it generally has a recommended dose of 1g.

Since this blend only totals 675mg, there may not be an adequate amount of matcha to provide substantial benefits.

Although some ingredients may be sufficiently dosed in the formula, it’s clear that they can’t be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula may not provide the benefits associated with certain ingredients.

Life Wild Greens Reviews

Oriental Greens is available on Amazon and therefore I will take a look on there to see a selection of honest, unbiased customer reviews.

Overall, the formula has a total of 14 customer ratings, with several reviews. The product scores 4.2 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

This greens arrived here well sealed, and full with powder to the capacity, I had to dig for the scoop – no complaints though. Since Oriental Greens arrived I haven’t missed a day yet. I take it in the morning with water, and love this stuff. Unlike coffee, it gives me sustained energy throughout the day and ironically I sleep better at night. It mixes well quite easily, no gritty texture, and best of all it tastes great! Was definitely worth trying!5-star review

This really is a good health drink. It's full of superfoods! It mixes pretty easily in water (10 ounces as the directions say). It does have some matcha tea in it, but according to the company (Life Wild), there are only 15mg of caffeine in each serving (kudos to the company for getting back to my emailed question!). I'm glad it doesn't have much caffeine. The major downside to this drink is that it just doesn't taste good. I can stomach some not-great-tasting health foods, but this is almost not drinkable for me. I'll drink it, but it's not enjoyable at all and I don't like the taste one bit! (Update: it is a bit better with some fruit juice in it – or I've added a little monk fruit sweetener which helps).4-star review

Made my stomach hurt and could barely get it down from the taste….put more effort into flavor at least to make it down, waste of my money.1-star review

Where to buy Life Wild Greens?

You can buy Life Wild Oriental Greens from the Life Wild website or Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Life Wild Oriental Greens contains 30 servings of formula. You can either buy one tub or a serving sample.

This is a really nice touch that you can sample the formula for just $3.50!

One tub of Oriental Greens costs $74.49, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.48.

I think this is an expensive price for what the formula is because the formula likely does not contain substantially dosed ingredients and the ingredients label is not fully disclosed.

This is the price of a premium product with a fully disclosed label, so it’s a shame that the product labeling isn’t transparent.

Life Wild Greens: My Verdict

I really like the look of the Life Wild company – it seems like a wonderful, exciting, and well-thought-through wellness brand.

However, unfortunately, I’m not sure that the Oriental Greens formula really hits the mark, and this is because the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed label and is made of proprietary blends.

Since the company is not transparent about the ingredients within the formula, it’s unclear whether the formula will work or not.

If the formula was sold at a slightly lower price point, I might suggest that this would be a good formula for those on a lower budget, as I typically do with formulas that have proprietary blends but are made by a good company!

However, since Oriental Greens is sold at a more expensive price point, I don’t think it’s worth it.

Overall, although the brand seems wonderful and the powder looks great, I suggest you look elsewhere for a greens powder with a fully disclosed label and definitely containing sufficiently dosed ingredients.
