MONAT Total Greens First Impressions
As soon as you click onto the MONAT website, you can tell that the company is a multi-level marketing company – I’m not a fan of MLM’s and I never will be.
However, I have to say, I do like the fact that the website contains a blog, holds valuable information about the business and is branded well.
Looking at the Total Greens formula, I’m not sure what to make of it!
Although the formula branding is sleek and sophisticated, you can see in the product photos that the formula doesn’t seem to mix well, which is a little concerning!
However, overall, the product has a nice look, and hopefully, it actually delivers benefits.

For a formula that contains so many ingredients, unlike most supplements there aren’t actually a lot of benefits associated with a greens formula.
MONAT claims that the formula will provide a boost of essential micronutrients, whilst also boosting energy levels, improving immunity, supporting the digestive system, and improving the appearance of the skin.

Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within the formula exist within one big proprietary blend.
Therefore, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.
This makes it incredibly difficult to work out whether the formula is effective or not.
However, I’ll be taking a much closer look into the efficacy of the formula later in this review.

How does MONAT Total Greens Taste?
MONAT Total Greens is “Berry Green” flavored. The formula is naturally flavored and sweetened with stevia extract and maltodextrin. Unfortunately, maltodextrin is a detrimental ingredient to health that can raise blood sugar levels.
Overall, reviews concerning the taste of the formula are all positive.
Side Effects
There are no side effects associated with the MONAT Total Greens formula.
However, just as with any new supplement, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or you have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consuming MONAT Total Greens.
Does MONAT Total Greens Work?
Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within MONAT Total Greens exist within one big proprietary blend.
I really dislike proprietary blends in supplements because it’s not just unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, but it’s completely impossible to figure out.
Although MONAT’s lack of transparency makes it difficult to conclude whether the formula is effective or not, we can take a look at the combined recommended doses of ingredients within the blend and compare that to the total amount of the blend to see if it has the potential to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.
So, let’s take a look.
The clearly named “Proprietary Blend” totals 4.5g.
However, since the combined recommended dose of just the wheatgrass, spirulina, green tea, ginger, and acai within the blend totals 5g, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this formula have the ability to be sufficiently dosed.
Overall, although some of the less potent ingredients may be sufficiently dosed within the MONAT Total Greens formula, it’s impossible for all of the ingredients to be sufficiently dosed.
Therefore, the formula may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.

I normally take a look on Amazon to see a selection of honest customer reviews. However, since the MONAT Total Greens formula is only available through the MONAT website, I can’t do that!
It’s only possible to see the reviews on the Total Greens product page on the MONAT website.
Overall, the formula has 5 reviews, all of which are 5-star. Obviously, these reviews could be biased since they have the potential to be written by sellers of MONAT products.
Therefore, since all of the reviews are positive, you may want to take them with a pinch of salt.
Nonetheless, let’s take a closer look at some of these reviews.

There are two price options – one for those looking to buy the formula as a one-off purchase, and those who are part of the multi-level marketing scheme that the company runs.

My Final Verdict
Overall, I don’t think the MONAT Total Greens formula is worth buying.
Aside from the fact that the formula is produced by an MLM company, it doesn’t have a fully disclosed label, doesn’t have the ability to contain completely sufficiently dosed ingredients, and it’s fairly expensive.
Therefore, if you’re looking for a powerful greens formula that is actually going to provide benefits, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
