Naked Greens Review: Ingredients, Dosages, Serving Costs

Naked Greens, by Naked Nutrition, is a super greens formula with a small ingredients list, made up of potent vegetables, grasses, prebiotics, probiotics, extracts, and adaptogens.

The formula has been created for those that don’t benefit from good nutritional intake through their everyday diets, as it’s supposed to provide two servings of vegetables.

In addition, Naked Nutrition also claims that it boosts the immune system, supports the digestive system, and much more.

I’m really eager to take a closer look at this formula, especially because the brand makes some bold statements about a formula with only ten ingredients. If you’re also keen to take a closer look, check out my full Naked Greens review below.

What is Naked Greens?

I have to say that at an initial glance, I’m really impressed by the Naked Greens formula and the Naked Nutrition brand as a whole. As soon as you get onto the Naked Nutrition website, you’re attracted to the products.

The brand has chosen to use simplicity to its advantage, making no-nonsense marketing and branding a real selling point, especially when the nutrition industry is so overrun with masses of unverified information.

Looking at the Naked Greens formula, everything still looks great, from the tub design to the amount of information on the product page about the formula.

The only thing letting this formula down for me that I notice straight away is the fact that the ingredients list doesn’t show any amounts – this doesn’t seem so transparent for a brand that’s all about transparency!

Background on Naked Nutrition

Naked Nutrition, based in Florida, was founded in 2014 by Stephen Zieminski.

The brand was founded because Zieminski was sick of seeing so much misinformation on the supplement scene, especially when it came to protein powders and nutritional formulas.

Naked Nutrition is well known for using stripped-back ingredients list with only the highest quality ingredients, and simple yet effective branding and marketing techniques.

Aside from the Naked Greens formula, the brand mainly produces protein powder, workout supplements, and weight gain formulas.

Naked Greens Benefits

Naked Nutrition claims that the Naked Greens formula is an energizing blend that provides the consumer with two servings of vegetables and grasses, helping them to up their nutrition even if they can’t fit fresh vegetables into their diet.

The brand claims that the ingredients within the formula promote detox, improve gut health, boost the immune system, and lower levels of stress.

A benefit that I think the brand has really missed out on is increased energy levels. This is definitely something that potential consumers want, and this formula should provide that seeing as there’s Ginseng in the formula.

Naked Greens Ingredients

There are only 10 ingredients within the Naked Greens blend, including organic vegetables, probiotics, and prebiotics, adaptogens, and herbs.

Unfortunately, there’s no information about the amount of each ingredient within the formula and therefore, it’s unclear if the ingredients within it will actually produce the claimed health benefits.

However, I will be taking a closer look at that later, don’t worry.

But first, let’s actually see what’s in this blend!

  • Naked Greens Blend – Organic Brocolli, Organic Alfalfa Grass, Organic Kale, Organic Spinach, Organic Spirulina, Organic Wheatgrass.
  • Organic Inulin, Organic Ashwagandha, Organic Panax Ginseng, Probiotic (Bacillus Subtilis).

How does Naked Greens Taste?

The Naked Greens formula isn’t flavored, and therefore the formula does taste potent and grassy. Without any flavoring or natural sweetener, this formula might be a little too pungent for those that aren’t used to consuming super greens.

However, the taste of the formula can easily be disguised if used in a shake, smoothie, or added to a juice.

Other green powders that I enjoy the taste of:

Side Effects

There aren’t any side effect warnings on the product, and Naked Nutrition doesn’t warn the consumer about any adverse effects because you shouldn’t experience any adverse effects when consuming this formula.

Although, as I always say, if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, have a medical condition, or you’re under 18 years old, you should consult a doctor before consuming any new supplement.

Does Naked Greens Work?

Due to the fact that Naked Nutrition doesn’t show the amounts of any of the ingredients within the formula, it’s impossible for me to work out if the formula will actually work or not.

As much as I hate seeing formulas made from proprietary blends, at least I can get a gist of the amount of each ingredient within the formula, and I can roughly figure out whether a formula will work or not.

However, in this case, I have absolutely nothing to go off and therefore it’s simply impossible to tell you if this formula will provide the consumer with the benefits the brand claims it will.

I have absolutely nothing to go off and therefore it’s simply impossible to tell you if this formula will work as described.

It seems strange to me that Naked Nutrition prides itself on being better than other companies because it shows transparency and cuts out the nonsense. Still, there’s not a fully disclosed ingredients label for this formula.

Naked Greens Reviews

Naked Greens is available to purchase on Amazon, and there are 158 customer reviews on Amazon. Overall, the product scores 4.6 stars out of 5 stars.

Only 3% of the reviews are below 3 stars, and these reviews have no comments, just ratings.

Let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews below.

Naked Greens is the basics which is exactly why I love it – to the point, no extras, no junk – organic greens. I love that it has 10 of the top greens which means that fillers are not taking up the place or space of what I really want – Broccoli, Alfalfa Grass, Kale, Spinach, Spirulina, Whey Grass, Prebiotic, Ashwagandha, Panax Ginseng, and Probiotics and ORGANIC which is key for me. Taste – well, it is exactly what it sounds like – green, there is an expected earthiness that may be an acquired taste – I personally love it because it tastes like the ingredients which is what I want. You can always mix it with your favorite Naked protein powder (I prefer the Less Naked Pea Protein). Give it a try, it will do your body good!5-star review

I am glad that this product has been helping me get the necessary daily amount of greens per day when I do not have time for a decently healthy meal. I don't know about it being great tasting but what greens can be tasty and healthy at the same time. I've been mixing it with other stuff that overpowers it so it helps.4-star review

The powder is chalky and smells like algae – which is pretty standard for powdered greens – so it's best consumed mixed in a smoothie or something else of substance. Other than that, there's no real frills or anything to make it stand out amongst the array of powdered greens out there. However, I do enjoy the simple packaging, so I leave the container on the counter instead of in the cabinet 🙂3-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Naked Nutrition doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee, but if you return one of the brand’s products unopened within 14 days of purchase, you can get a full refund, or you will be able to exchange the product.

Where to buy Naked Greens?

You can buy Naked Greens on the Naked Nutrition site and on Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

One 245g tub of Naked Greens, containing 35 servings is $29.99. This means that the cost per serving works out at $0.85. If you subscribe to the product, you can save 5%, meaning that the cost per serving goes down only slightly, to $0.81.

This is a low cost per serving in comparison to most other super greens formulas on the market – in fact, it's the same as Amazing Grass and Ormus Supergreens when looking at the per-serving costs.

Naked Nutrition mainly ships within the US. Although no flat fee is mentioned on the site, orders over $49 qualify for free shipping.

The brand does ship to the UK and Canada, but only selected products are available in these countries, and the price of shipping depends on where you are and what you order.

Naked Greens Verdict

Naked Greens is a really popular supplement from the successful Naked Nutrition brand, and therefore, I had really high hopes and expectations of this formula. Unfortunately, they just weren’t met.

There are many positives when looking at this formula – I like the brand’s approach to marketing and branding; the ingredients selected are super potent, and the price is low cost!

However, I simply wouldn’t be staying true to myself if I was to recommend this formula. Due to the fact that there’s no information about the amounts of the ingredients in the formula, it might not even provide the consumer with the claimed benefits.

Therefore, I have to say that I don’t recommend this formula, and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a super greens formula.
