Naturelo Raw Greens Review

Naturelo Raw Greens Review

Naturelo Raw Greens formula is a super greens formula containing an array of potent ingredients, including over 30 organic super greens, probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes, and herbal extracts.

The formula isn’t only supposed to boost the nutritional intake of the consumer, but it also provides a variety of health benefits. The brand claims that it will boost the immune system, increase energy levels, and support the digestive system.

As an incredibly popular product that’s loved by consumers worldwide, I’m really keen to take a closer look at this formula.

Naturelo Raw Greens First Impression

As soon as you head onto the Naturelo website, it’s clear that this brand really knows what it’s doing. The branding, marketing, and level of information are all spot on!

The website isn’t only vibrant and aesthetically pleasing, it’s also packed with up to date information and educational content that can be seen on the brand’s blog, product pages, and the brand’s about page.

I’m equally as impressed with the Naturelo Raw Greens formula at first glance. There’s even a video explaining how to make a great smoothie with the formula!

Background on Naturelo Premium Supplements

Founded in Canada in 2013, Naturelo Premium Supplements is a family-run health and wellbeing brand that currently has a customer base in over 60 countries worldwide.

The brand is passionate about creating supplements made from natural ingredients, not ingredients manufactured in a laboratory, with most of the formulas being plant-based and made from organic ingredients.

Although the Naturelo Raw Greens formula is one of the best sellers, the brand produces everything from women’s and children’s health supplements to probiotic blends and multivitamins.

Naturelo Raw Greens Benefits

The Naturelo Raw Greens blend, as mentioned above, contains a potent mixture of ingredients, including over 30 organic super greens.

The brand claims that these ingredients not only increase the nutritional intake of the consumer but also provide a variety of specific health benefits.

Naturelo claims that the Raw Greens formula boosts the immune system, increases clarity and cognitive function, lowers stress levels, boosts energy levels, pushes toxins from the body, and supports the digestive system.

Naturelo Raw Greens Ingredients

There are 48 ingredients within the Naturelo Raw Greens Unsweetened formula, and there are 50 ingredients in the Wild Berry flavor, with the addition of Monk Fruit and Natural Blueberry flavoring.

Unfortunately, the formula is made from proprietary blends, meaning there’s no information about the amounts of the ingredients within the formula.

I’ll be taking a look at this problem in more detail later on in this review.

Let’s take a look at the ingredients list.

  • Greens Blend (3,300mg) – Organic Spirulina, Organic Spinach Leaf, Organic Barley Grass, Organic Alfalfa Leaf, Organic Wheatgrass, Organic Chlorella, Organic Dulse, Organic Broccoli (whole plant), Organic Parsley Leaf, Organic Kale Leaf.
  • Fiber Blend (2,860mg) – Organic Sunflower Lecithin, Organic Apple (Fruit), Organic Brown Rice Bran, Organic Inulin.
  • Anti-Aging Blend (800mg) – Organic Beet Root, Organic Rose Hips, Organic Acai (Fruit), Organic Green Tea Leaf, Organic Raspberry Leaf, Organic Blueberry (Fruit), Organi Goji Berry, Organic Bilberry (Fruit), Organic Ginkgo biloba (4:1 Extract), Organic Grape Seed (2:1 Extract).

  • Probiotic Blend (16 Billion CFU) – L. Acidophilus, L. Bulgaricus, B. Bifidum, B. Longum, S. thermophilus, L. rhamnosus.
  • Digestive Enzyme Blend (180mg) – Amylase, Bromelain, Cellulase, Lipase, Papain, Protease.

How does Naturelo Raw Greens Taste?

Naturelo Raw Greens is available in either Wild Berry flavor or Unsweetened flavor.

As mentioned above, the Wild Berry flavor contains Monk Fruit extract and Natural Blueberry flavoring, and the Unsweetened flavor obviously doesn’t contain anything to sweeten or flavor it.

The Wild Berry flavor is incredibly sweet due to the Monk Fruit extract, and it might be a little too overwhelming for some people.

The Unsweetened flavor does have a grassy and natural taste to it, which also may overwhelm people that aren’t used to consuming super greens formulas.

You can check out what I believe are the best-tasting greens powders here.

Side Effects

There aren’t any side effects or allergen warnings on the Naturelo Raw Greens formula.

However, Naturelo states that the recommended dosage of the formula shouldn’t be exceeded, and if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, under the age of18, on medication, or with any medical conditions, you should consult a doctor before consumption.

This is advice that I always give when it comes to people consuming new supplements, so I appreciate that the brand tells the consumer this advice.

Does Naturelo Raw Greens Work?

As mentioned above, the Naturelo Raw Greens formula contains proprietary blends, which means that no one but the brand knows how much of each ingredient resides in the formula.

Proprietary blends are an absolute nightmare and it shows that a brand lacks transparency – they make it impossible for the consumer to not only figure out how much of each ingredient they’re consuming but also to figure out if the formula will actually work or not.

However, I can take a look at some of the ingredients and try to gauge whether the formula will actually work or not.

impossible to figure out whether it will work or not, because some ingredients may meet recommended dosages and provide benefits, but others may not.

For example, looking at Spirulina (as I often do because it’s usually in every super greens formula), it sits first within the 3,300mg Greens blend.

The recommended amount of Spirulina per day is between 1-3g, and therefore the Spirulina in this formula may actually meet the low end of the daily recommended amount and provide health benefits to the consumer.

However, if there’s a proper amount of Spirulina in this blend it’s unlikely that amounts of other ingredients are also right.

For example, the daily recommended dosage of Chlorella sits between 2-5g (Source), and therefore, seeing as the Chlorella is listed sixth in the blend (listed by weighting) it’s unlikely that there’s a sufficient amount.

Looking at the formula as a whole, it’s impossible to figure out whether it will work or not, because some ingredients may meet recommended dosages and provide benefits, but others may not.

Naturelo Raw Greens Reviews

Naturelo Raw Greens is available on Amazon and there are nearly 3,000 customer reviews on the site. Overall, the product is rated 4.5 stars out of 5 stars and over 70% of the reviews are 5-star.

Let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews below.

This is my 3rd order of Raw Greens Superfood Powder. I tried some green powder but it tasted gross and you can taste the powder/grainy part. I'm a picky eater. I blend this with soy milk, banana, and blackberries. It tastes awesome! It's healthy too. Also, this is my greens for a day, if I didn't eat enough veggies. I would definitely recommend it. A lot of benefits – energy, healthy, and taste great!!!5-star review

I just started using this so far I do like it the major complaint I have it that I find it to be too sweet…..the wild berry flavor is very strong…..personally I wouldn’t mind something that had less sugar.3-star review

Highly doubt this is “raw greens”…. it's almost completely water-soluble. Greens are not soluble at best they are poorly dispersible in water. Let this sit 3-4min and the water becomes almost clear with only a trace of green slime in the bottom….no particulates at all. This is probably an extract which means you're losing most of the benefits of greens. Might as well take a multivitamin. The flavor isn't bad as it's pretty tasteless.1-star review

Where to buy Naturelo Raw Greens?

You can buy Naturelo Raw Greens from the Naturelo website, Amazon, and other third-party retailers.

Naturelo products are also available in selected high street stores in the USA that and you can find your nearest store using the store locator on the website.

Is It Worth The Price?

Naturelo Raw Greens is available in either a 30 servings tub or a 60 servings tub. Typically, super greens formulas I review contain 30 servings, so I’m going to take a look at the 30 servings tub!

One 30 servings (240g) tub of Naturelo Greens costs $27.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $0.93.

You can save 10% if you subscribe to the formula, meaning the cost per serving would be $0.84.

The brand ships to over 60 countries worldwide and shipping costs depend on where you are in the world and the weight of your order.

My Final Verdict

My initial impressions of the Naturelo Raw Greens formula were really good, and with some much hype around the product and the brand worldwide, I had high expectations.

Most of these expectations were actually met, apart from the most important one – that the formula will actually work.

This is a very budget-friendly greens powder, so if you can't stretch to a more premium brand then you can get some of the ingredients you need with Raw Greens.

Due to the fact the formula is made using proprietary blends, it’s unclear whether it will actually provide the consumer with the benefits the brand claims it will. Therefore, unfortunately, I have to say that I can’t recommend this formula.
