Organifi vs Supergreen Tonik

Organifi vs Supergreen Tonik

Since launching my own greens powder supplement I have had requests to compare it against the leading brands, and so here I am going to compare Organifi Green Juice vs Supergreen Tonik.

Both Organifi Green Juice and Supergreen Tonik focus on fewer ingredients in their formulas in contrast to many brands that cram 3-4 times the number of ingredients.

I have tried Organifi for 2-weeks before and previously reviewed my experience with it. These days though I drink only my greens drink.

So let's get down to comparing these two amazing greens supplements, Organifi Greens vs Supergreen Tonik.

What is Organifi?

Whilst not as popular as AG1 Greens, Organifi is certainly a popular greens supplement with a loyal following.

This brand was developed by Drew Canole, an inspirational and passionate health guru who became popular from his juicing YouTube channel before producing his range of Organifi supplements.

His Green Juice brand was their first supplement and remains one of their most popular sellers.

Other brands in the range include Red Juice, Gold Tea, and plant-based protein drink.

What is Supergreen Tonik?

SuperGreen Tonik I believe is a strong competitor to Organifi with a bit of twist in terms of the usual approach taken by greens supplements.

I developed this brand to originally help me provide all my daily greens along with a carefully selected group of brain and immune ingredients.

Having suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for over 25 years, I wanted a supplement that was easy and tasty to drink ensuring I got the proper doses of the key ingredients.

Since its release in 2019, SuperGreen TONK has been gaining traction with customers looking for a transparent greens supplement that delivers on providing better ingredients, with no proprietary blends, and a great taste.

Organifi vs SuperGreen Tonik Benefits

Organifi Green Juice

Organifi focuses mostly on detoxification, boosted immunity, and weight loss benefits of their formula.

Anyone looking for potentially a good source of superfoods could benefit from taking Organifi.

Whilst one of the popular greens superfoods it can be considered an all-rounder but in my opinion is not the best option available.

Supergreen Tonik

This brand is one of the few supplements that places attention on both body and mind.

The benefits of SuperGreen TONIK are the focus on three distinct blends that promote a healthier body, mind, and immune system.

This makes SuperGreen TONIK a great choice for anyone looking for an all-around supplement, especially if you're looking for a solid mix of brain and immune nutrients too.

Organifi vs Supergreen Tonik Ingredients

Organifi Green Juice

There are 12 organic superfoods in Organifi's formula that are split into two proprietary blends, an alkaline greens blend, and a superfood blend.

The Alkaline Greens Proprietary Blend: Organic wheatgrass, organic wheatgrass juice powder, organic horseradish tree leaf, organic spirulina, organic chlorella, organic matcha green tea.

Super Food Proprietary Blend: Organic coconut water powder, organic ashwagandha extract, organic red beet, organic turmeric.

Whilst there are some great ingredients in the Organifi formula we can't be certain how potent and therefore effective it really is.

On the plus side though, having fewer ingredients in the formula should mean they are in higher amounts, but we don't get to know for sure.

There is little mention of the vitamin and mineral content in the formula too, which is unusual as most greens powders push this part of their formula.

Supergreen Tonik

SuperGreen Tonik has a 25% larger serving size than Organifi, with each serving being 12 grams in size.

All the 15 superfoods and 18 vitamins/minerals are fully disclosed on the label too, so although the ingredients are split into three blends NO proprietary blends are used in their formula.

There 6 organic greens in the “Organic Greens Blend”, which include Organic spirulina powder, Organic Kale Powder, Organic Spinach leaf powder, Organic Barley grass powder, Organic Chlorella powder (cracked cell), Organic Horseradish tree (moringa) leaf powder.

Unique to most greens powders is the inclusion of a dedicated “brains blend” that includes potent brain nutrients like Ashwagandha root extract, Bacopa leaf extract, Rhodiola root powder, and Gingo leaf powder. These have been shown to support cognitive function and improve longer-term brain health.

Organifi is classified as an organic product whereas SuperGreen TONIK only the greens blend is completely organic. This is because some of the brain and immune ingredients were unable to be organically sourced, and for a product to be regarded as USDA organic over 95% of the ingredients need to be organic.

Organifi vs Supergreen Tonik Taste

Organifi Green Juice

Organifi has a mint taste that is refreshing and not too unpleasant. It's certainly not the best tasting but by all means not the worse.

There is no added sugar and there are no artificial sweeteners in the formula

Most greens use some form of sweetener to offset the bitterness of the greens ingredients. The choice tends to come down to either Stevia or Monk fruit. Organifi uses monk fruit to add some sweetness to the taste, it's not overpowering at all and reasonably fine to drink.

Supergreen Tonik

I was keen to ensure that SuperGreen TONIK tasted great by just mixing with water. After experimenting with different flavors I went with mint as this gives a refreshing taste that feels healthy too.

It's no secret that many greens blends taste disgusting, often a grassy or chalky taste. This is because ultimately most of the greens ingredients are just well, not pleasant to consume.

To offset the bitterness we used stevia leaf extract in just enough amount to sweeten the taste a little.

Some customers remark the flavor is like a cool mint tea.

Personally I believe it's one of the best tasting greens powders on the market.

Organifi vs Supergreen Tonik Cost

Organifi Green Juice

A single tub of Organifi costs $69.95 for a 30-day serving with discounts when buying 3 or 6 tubs at a time. There is a monthly subscription option too where you can grab a single tub for $59.97 each month until you cancel.

With the biggest 6-tub bundle the price is $356 which works out at around $1.97 per day.

Paying around $2 per day is great value and so Organifi hits the sweet spot.

But hold on a minute, there is a shipping charge of $7.95 for single tubs though. Pushing the cost up to $77.90 for one tub of Organifi.

Supergreen Tonik

At first glance, SuperGreen TONIK appears to be on the pricier side with a single tub costing $87.

It's worth mentioning that for US customers all shipping is completely free of charge, which means there are no surprises at the checkout.

There are big discounts available for buying more than one tub at a time, with the best deal being for 6-tubs costing $357.

This works out to cost the SAME as Organifi at around $1.96 per day.

Better Ingredients. No Proprietary Blends. From as low as $2.09 per day (multi-bundle packages)

Organifi vs SuperGreen Tonik: Which is Better?

Consuming either brand then you can't go far wrong, both have a solid ingredient profile and on a per-serving (daily) basis equally priced.

In terms of effectiveness, there is a question mark over Organifi Green Juice, simply because of the use of proprietary blends hiding the ingredient amounts. SuperGreen Tonik reveals ALL their ingredient and their amounts in a fully transparent label, the serving size is also 25% bigger!

Lastly, it's worth mentioning there is a money-back guarantee for both brands, however, SuperGreen Tonik has the best in the industry with their returns policy giving you a full one year.

To pick a winner over Organifi or SuperGreen TONIK I would of course pick my brand, I drink it every day. I developed the brand with the benefit of hindsight, knowing exactly what I would want from a top greens brand, and I believe we achieve it.
