Organixx is a USA based supplement brand, specializing in holistic and naturopathic health and wellbeing products. OrganiGreens is the super greens formula that's packed with everything from digestive enzymes to mushroom extracts, it seems impressive.

The potent ingredients within the OrganiGreens formula are supposed to help boost the consumer’s immune system, support energy levels, improve the digestive system, and much more! In addition, the formula is vegan, dairy-free, soy-free, yeast-free, and non-GMO, so it’s suitable for a wide range of people.

What is OrganiGreens?

I have to say that at an initial glance, I’m really impressed by the Organixx website and the brand’s aesthetic as a whole. The entire Organixx site is packed with vibrant colors, eye-catching photos, informative content and there are some great, free resources too!

Not only do the products really pop from the page and intrigue website visitors, but the range of information on the website is wonderful, from informative blog posts to an entire podcast series. It’s clear that the brand is selling an entire lifestyle, not just products.

I’m still impressed when looking at the OrganiGreens formula – everything from the new eco-friendly packaging to the jam-packed product information entices me.

I’m really hoping that when I actually get to take a closer look at the formula, it lives up to the first impressions it gives.

Background on Organixx

Organixx, founded in 2016 by Jonathan Hunsaker, is a holistic health and wellbeing brand that produces a wide range of supplements, from bone broths and essential oils to cosmetic serums and collagen formula.

The main aim of the brand is to increase the health of people around the world in the most simple and clean way possible. So, Organixx products typically contain certified organic ingredients and there are no toxins, sugars, flavorings, or GMO ingredients.

The best-selling product across the entire company is the OrganiGreens formula, so it seems fitting that we’re taking a closer look at it!

OrganiGreens Benefits

Organixx claims that the OrganiGreens formula will boost the immune system, push toxins from the body, increase energy levels, increase mental clarity, and support gut health.

However, Organixx has gone to the effort of sharing specific health benefits information about some of the most important ingredients in the formula.

For example,

“Organic Lemon – High in vitamin C, lemon contains potent phytonutrients and antioxidants that support a healthy immune system and respiratory function. Research supports that consuming fruits and veggies high in vitamin C is associated with a reduced risk of death from all causes, including heart disease, stroke, and cancer.”

OrganiGreens Ingredients

There are 28 ingredients within the OrganiGreens formula, over 95% of which are organic, meaning the formula as a whole is USDA certified organic.

Everything from super greens and mushrooms to probiotics and digestive enzymes is within the formula, which is great.

However, unfortunately, these ingredients exist within proprietary blends, which means that they might not all be sufficiently dosed!

A big plus with this formula is that the serving size is reasonable at 9.5 grams.

Let’s take a look at the ingredients within the OrganiGreens formula!

  • Organic OrganiGreens Blend (9.45g) – Organic Alfalfa Grass Juice (leaf) Powder, Organic Wheat Grass Juice (leaf) Powder, Organic Sprouted Chia (seed), Organic Sprouted Purple Corn Maize (seed) Flour, Organic Turkey Tail Mushroom (Trametes Versicolor) (mycelium), Organic Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) (mycelium fruit and body), Organic Shiitake Mushroom (Lentinula edodes) (mycelium), Organic Spinach (leaf) Powder, Organic Carrot (root) Powder, Organic Red Bell Pepper (fruit) Powder, Fermented Organic Lemon (fruit) Powder, Fermented Organic Kale (leaf) Powder, Fermented Organic Ginger (root) Powder, Fermented Organic Wild Leaf Lettuce (leaf) Powder.
  • Probiotic, Enzyme Blend 1 Billion CFU (50mg) – Broad Spectrum Enzyme Blend (Cellulase complex, beta-glucanase, amylase, xylanase, protease complex, glucoamylase, phytase, pectinase, lipase complex, lactase, alpha-galactosidase, hemicellulase, invertase), Bacillus subtilis.

How does OrganiGreens Taste?

OrganiGreens used to be available as either unsweetened or sweetened, but the brand has decided to only produce the unsweetened formula now, which seems pretty surprising when the taste is such a vital aspect to look at when producing super greens formula.

Due to the fact that the formula is unsweetened and doesn’t contain any flavoring ingredients, it has that grassy taste that typically comes from super greens. Organixx actually recommends adding stevia or monk fruit to sweeten it if necessary.

Side Effects

Organixx recommends that consumers check with their doctor before consuming any new supplements, including a greens brand.

The brand also states that this is particularly important if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any medical issues.

The OrganiGreens formula also has a Prop 65 warning. This is a warning label enforced on businesses that sell in the state of California, and it concerns ingredients that could be carcinogenic, or cause reproductive harm.

Does OrganiGreens Work?

Since the OrganiGreens formula is made up using two proprietary blends, it’s impossible to know if the formula will actually work or not.

Proprietary blends are an absolute nightmare, as only the amount for the entire blend is shown, and therefore the amount of each specific ingredient is missing. This means that brands can easily underdose ingredients, and the consumer wouldn’t even know – there’s no transparency with proprietary blends.

However, the only saving grace with this formula is that the Organic OrganiGreens blend is heavily weighted, and most of the ingredients actually don’t have daily intake recommendations. I regularly use spirulina as a good indicator when it comes to looking at whether a formula will work or not because it has a recommended daily dose.

Although, there’s one ingredient that does have a daily recommended dosage – wheatgrass. The daily recommended amount is between 3-5g, and seeing as this ingredient exists amongst 13 others in the blend, it’s unlikely it’s sufficiently dosed.

Overall, no one apart from the brand will actually know if this formula works or not, and that’s the problem with proprietary blends!

OrganiGreens Reviews

OrganiGreens is available on Amazon, so we’re going to take a look at some of the customer reviews on there! Overall, the product scores 4.1 stars out of 5 stars, with 70% of the reviews being rated 5 stars.

Let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews below.

I am a believer in getting all the fruits and veggies I can. I have researched the various green drinks and this is by far the best for the price. I put a scoop a day into my morning shake along with some beet powder and I can feel the energy boost. Have not even had a cold all winter so I am very pleased.5-star review

This is the best tasting greens that I have ever tried; my kids will even drink it mixed in just water!… it does mix up well without having climbs, however, it tends to separate quickly. I mitigated this by blending it with some avocado or constantly shaking and stirring right before I take a drink… My biggest issue with this product is the price; I wish I would have bought more when it was on sale… at regular price is it just not affordable for us… overall I am pretty happy with it, but won't be buying any more unless the price drops dramatically again.3-star review

Not happy with this product. Not at all what it claims to be. Nutrient context is about 3% of the daily nutrients needed. Even if you consumed it three times a day you wouldn't get 10% of the nutrients you need per day.1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Organixx offers a 1-year money-back guarantee on its products.

Where to buy OrganiGreens?

You can buy OrganiGreens from the Organixx website, from Amazon, or on a selection of small third party supplement retailers online.

Is It Worth The Price?

One pouch of OrganiGreens contains 285g, providing 30 servings. One pouch costs $70.00, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.33.

This is more expensive than the average price of greens powders for a formula that’s made up of proprietary blends!

However, you can save 10% if you subscribe to receiving the formula monthly. This works out at a cost per serving of $2.10 – not a huge saving, but it certainly helps!

Shipping costs vary depending on where you are in the world, and what you purchase.

Organixx Greens Verdict

I had such big hopes for this brand and the product, and my first impressions were great.

However, unfortunately, the use of proprietary blends in the formula, the taste of the formula, and the high cost of the formula just don’t impress me.

Unfortunately, this isn't a greens formula that I would recommend.

There are super greens products out there with fully disclosed labels that taste good and aren’t as expensive as this one.

So in my opinion, there’s no point settling for a formula that might not work, when you can go and purchase one that definitely will.
