On first impression, the Purity Products website looks sharp, professional, and informative. There’s a variety of useful content on the site, from the educational blog to recipe PDFs available for each powder.
Looking at the Super Reds formula intrigues me! There seems to be a wide range of potent ingredients, the branding of the tub looks great, and the brand has supplied an array of information about the benefits associated with the formula.
So, I’m very keen to take a much closer look into it!

Purity Products was founded in 1993 in New York by entrepreneur, Jahn Levin. The company might have started as a three-person operation but today it has over one hundred employees, has a large headquarters, and is a popular nutrition supplement company across the world.
The brand specializes in creating nutritional supplements that are made from high-quality, pure ingredients. From the product sales, the company supports outreach programs across New York.
Although the Super Reds formula is popular, the company’s best-sellers are the Flexuron Joint Formula, Purity's Muscle Accelerator, and Magblue.

Purity Products actually provide a lot of information about the benefits associated with the formula. The formula is supposed to boost energy levels, support heart health, boost brain health, promote healthy eyesight, and push toxins from the body.
The brand claims that all of the benefits from the formula come from the 3,000 ORAC units (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) that are found in every serving.

Purity Products Super Reds contains over 40 individual ingredients, 13 of which exist within a proprietary blend.
However, I’ll be looking more closely into the effects of proprietary blends when I take a look at the efficacy of the formula later in this review.
First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

How does Purity Products Super Reds Taste?
Purity Products Super Reds have a natural berry taste and is sweetened with stevia extract and maltodextrin.
Although stevia extract is perfectly fine to use to sweeten formulas, maltodextrin is linked with causing detrimental health effects such as causing spikes in blood sugar levels.
The general consensus from customers is that the formula tastes incredibly unappealing and doesn’t dissolve well, leading to a pungent, lumpy mixture.
So, it’s not great!
Side Effects
There are no warnings associated with the Purity Products Super Reds formula and the brand doesn’t suggest who and who shouldn’t consume the formula.
As with every formula I review, I would suggest that those who are taking medication, those with medical conditions, and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Purity Products Super Reds Work?
Most of the amounts of the ingredients within the Purity Products formula are fully disclosed. Therefore, it’s easy to work out the efficacy of these ingredients.
However, other ingredients do exist within proprietary blends – it’s hard to work out the efficacy of the ingredients within these blends!
First, let’s take a look at the ingredients that do have fully disclosed amounts and standard recommended doses – we will take a look at the amount of the ingredient within the formula and check it against the recommended dose associated with it.
For example, the recommended dose of grape seed extract is between 100-300 mg, and the amount of grape seed extract in the formula is 20mg. Therefore, this ingredient is clearly not sufficiently dosed within this formula!
The recommended dose of beetroot extract is between 300-500 mg and the amount within this formula is 230mg – therefore, once again, this ingredient is clearly not sufficiently dosed!
The Fruit and Vegetable Blend totals 100mg and contains 13 ingredients. Seeing as the recommended dose of just one of the ingredients, green tea extract, is between 250–500 mg, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula will be sufficiently dosed.
Overall, it’s clear that a large majority of the ingredients within the formula are insufficiently dosed and therefore the formula may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.
It’s also important for me to mention that the formula contains maltodextrin, which can cause spikes in blood sugar and has detrimental health effects. Therefore, these detrimental health benefits may counteract the potential health benefits the formula may provide.

Although there are reviews of the Super Reds formula on the Purity Products website, the formula is also available on Amazon and the reviews on there are more likely to be unbiased and honest.
So, I’ll be taking a look on there to see customer reviews of the formula!
The formula has just over 200 customer reviews and scores an overall rating of 4.2 stars out of 5 stars.

Purity Products Super Reds is sold in tubs that contain 30 servings of formula. You can either buy the formula as a one-off purchase or you can subscribe to receiving it regularly and benefit from a discount.
One tub of the Super Reds formula costs $39.95 on a one-time purchase, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.33.
One tub of the formula costs $29.95 on a subscription, bringing the cost per serving down to $1.
Since it’s likely that some of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed, the taste isn’t great, and the customer reviews aren’t so positive, I don’t think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.
My Final Verdict
Although this Super Reds formula is produced by a popular, trusted brand and is packed with various potent ingredients, I’m not convinced that the formula will be effective.
This is because the majority of the ingredients within the formula seem to be insufficiently dosed and therefore, the formula may not provide the consumer with the benefits that the brand claims it will.
In addition, the taste of the formula is displeasing, and there are various negative customer reviews of the product.
Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend this formula.
If you are looking for a super reds formula that is going to provide you with benefits, I would recommend choosing one that has a fully disclosed label and can be proven to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.
