The Supa Mega Greens formula is a superfood formula made with organic, non-GMO, plant-based ingredients, produced by the Supa Mega Foods supplement brand. The brand claims that the formula will provide the essential micronutrients needed for the best possible overall health and wellbeing daily, as well as provide more specific health benefits.
The formula is supposed to help push toxins from the body, boost the immune system, support the digestive system, and more. It’s also suitable for a wide range of people as it’s vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and non-GMO.
I’m keen to take a closer look at this formula, not only because it’s produced by the sons of holistic guru Queen Afua, but because it seems like an up and coming popular super greens formula on the market.
Are you thinking of purchasing the Supa Mega Greens formula and want to read a review first? Or are you a keen Lifehacker guy reader excited to check out a new super greens powder? Either way, check out my full Supa Mega Greens review below.

Supa Mega Greens First Impressions
I really like the Supa Mega Foods website, and it really doesn’t put me off that the brand only sells three products. In fact, it gives me hope that the brand does what it does well, rather than doing lots of supplements not very well, but we’ll see!
There’s an array of informative content on the website and I especially like the fact that the brand collaborated with celebrity chef Lauren Von Der Pool to create vegan recipes using the Supa Mega Greens formula.
Looking at the Supa Mega Greens formula more closely, I’m still fairly impressed at the initial glance. The only thing that I think the brand could improve on is providing more information about the formula’s ingredients, benefits, and facts overall.
Overall, I’m not blown away by the brand or the formula, but I’m certainly not disappointed either.

Supa Mega Greens was founded by brothers Supa Nova Slom and Ali Torain, who both learned about holistic wellbeing from their mother, Queen Afua. The pair brought the brand to life with the help of entrepreneur and branding genius Chris Kazirolle, AKA Kazi.
The brand currently produces three products – Supa Mega Greens, Supa Mega Immunity, and Supa Mega Protein. All of these are plant-based and produced using the highest quality ingredients in the USA.
Although there’s not a lot of information about the benefits of the formula in close detail, the brand does provide a few benefits that the consumer should expect to experience when consuming this formula.
Supa Mega Greens is supposed to help alkalize the body, push toxins from the body, boost energy levels, support the immune system, and improve the digestive system.
Supa Mega Greens Ingredients
Supa Mega Greens only 7 ingredients, and whilst I normally appreciate quality over quantity, I don’t appreciate the fact that the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label! It’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, which I’ll touch more on later, but it doesn’t show the brand being transparent!
Nonetheless, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula first.
- Ingredients – Organic Spirulina (whole plant), Organic Wheatgrass (leaf), Organic Alfalfa Grass (leaf), Organic Sun Chlorella (whole plant), Organic Barley Grass (leaf), Organic Ginger (root), Organic Dandelion (whole plant)
Here is the label:
How does it Taste?
Supa Mega Greens has no flavoring ingredients or sweeteners, and since the formula contains potent greens ingredients will most likely taste pungent and ‘grassy’, just as you might expect a super greens formula to taste!
However, most of the reviews about the taste have been fairly positive, and I have to say that I prefer to drink a super greens formula that tastes clean and natural rather than one pumped with flavoring ingredients.
Although Supa Mega Foods says that the greens formula is suitable for mothers and children, the brand does say that a medical professional should be consulted before consumption.
The brand also warns that people taking medication should consult a medical professional before consumption.
I would definitely support this advice.
Does Supa Mega Greens Work?
As I mentioned briefly above, Supa Mega Greens doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label. In fact, there’s absolutely no information about the amounts of each ingredient within the formula.
Instead, there’s just a list of ingredients and a recommended serving size of 5g. This is an incredibly small serving size! A good serving size for a super greens formula typically sits between 10-12g.
This means that as consumers since we have a lack of information about the amounts of the ingredients within the formula, we’re unaware of whether the formula will actually work or not.
However, we can take a look to see if any of the ingredients have standard recommended daily doses and whether the very small serving size of 5g would actually be able to hold these ingredients if they were sufficiently dosed.
Spirulina, wheatgrass, and chlorella in the formula all have daily recommended doses, and a combination of these recommended doses (the minimum of the doses) equals 6g.
So, these ingredients aren’t going to be sufficiently dosed in a 5g serving!
Seeing as these are only three ingredients in a seven ingredient formula, it’s very likely that at least some of the ingredients are underdosed. So, it may or may not work and provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.
Supa Mega Greens Reviews
Unfortunately, Supa Mega Greens isn’t available for purchase on Amazon. In fact, there aren’t any third party supplement websites that seem to sell the formula. So, there aren’t any customer reviews to look at apart from the ones on the Supa Mega Foods website.
I’m still going to share some of the reviews on here, but please do bear in mind that the brand may have only put positive reviews on the website and therefore we could be looking at biased reviews!
However, there are reviews with low star ratings, so hopefully, the brand is being transparent with its customer reviews.
Nonetheless, let’s take a look at some of these reviews.
I am so thankful for these greens they’ve added so much quality to my life! I feel so alive I have energy, I am healthier and mentally I have clarity. I can’t go a day with my Supa Mega Greens they give me life they are life.5-star review
Had to get used to the taste! This was my first time trying it didn’t give me the InnerG I was seeking. However I AM going to give it another go! May just need to get used to it! We shall see!!
The product is great but your customer service is horrible. Faulty links on your website. No one responds to emails. All I want to do is update my credit card info for my monthly subscription…think I will just contact my bank and have them cancel it on their end since I can’t reach anyone on yours.
Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy
Supa Mega Foods doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee.
The brand has a 30-day return policy, and to be eligible for a refund you have to return the unused product in the original packaging, within 30 days of purchase.
Where to buy?
As far as I’m aware, you can only buy Supa Mega Greens from the Supa Mega Foods website.
Is It Worth The Price?
Similar to most supplement brands out there, Supa Mega Foods provides an option of either a one-time purchase of the formula, or a subscription to receive it every month. Typically, a brand will give a 10-20% discount if you choose to subscribe. However, with Supa Mega Greens, you will receive a very significant 37% saving if you subscribe to the formula.
The price of one tub of Supa Mega Greens on a one-time purchase is $70.00, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.33.
The price of one tub of Supa Mega Greens on a subscription is $44.10, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.47.
You would obviously save a significant amount if you chose to subscribe to the formula, and I have to say, I’m impressed with the 37% off that the brand provides – it’s definitely more tempting.
However, since the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label and it has such a small recommended serving size, I would say that it’s not worth either of the prices it is sold at.
The Bottom Line
I had really high hopes for this brand, and unfortunately, I’m left feeling a little letdown.
I have to say that due to the fact that the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, I wouldn’t personally purchase this formula. I always like to know that what I’m consuming is actually going to work, and in this case, that’s just not possible.
The price of the formula is also high for a formula that doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients list, and for this price you can get a really high-quality greens powder packed with potent ingredients with a fully disclosed label.
So, unfortunately, I would have to say, look elsewhere.
LifeHacker Guy Greens Recommendation
Please give me a few moments to shamelessly introduce my brand, SuperGreen TONIK.
I have researched a lot (and I mean a lot) of super greens out there but was disappointed with most of the ones I tried.
So, I went out and created my own with the help of a USA manufacturer because I wanted to ensure I got all my veggie goodness in the right amounts, and of course within a no-fuss single serving each day.
None of the other brands offered that.
Its the best out there (of course I would say that about my own), but let me tell you why...
- No hidden ingredient amounts - we have full disclosure labelling, so you know EXACTLY whats inside
- Sufficient ingredient amounts to make a difference - we include at least (if not more of) the minimum effective amounts supported by research
- Ingredients that also could boost mental clarity and shake off brain fog - to boost my at work and home
After many months I finally got a greens formula that fuels my body and mind for the day ahead.
But please dont JUST take my word for it, make up your own decision by checking out my review. (I TRY BE BE AS UNBIASED AS POSSIBLE )
