As soon as you head onto the PurKratom website, you notice that everything looks professional and sophisticated. One of the first thing that really hits me is the array of customer reviews, which is great for a potential customer to see.
In addition, immediately you can see how proud the brand is to be GMP certified and how keen it is to show the consumer that everything is laboratory tested – Kratom is quite a contested ingredient so this is probably why there’s so much positive information straight away!
Looking at the Super Green Maeng Da Powder product page, I have to say that I’m a little let down with the information here. There’s a lack of benefit information and guidance about how to consume the powder. This seems such a shame because of the fact there’s so much information everywhere else on the website.

Overall, Kratom is known for reducing anxiety, boosting the immune system, boost mood, aiding the management of diabetes, improving digestion, reducing blood pressure, and aiding with withdrawal symptoms from opiates.
It would’ve been nice to see the brand show off more about the product, rather than assume that all their potential customers already know about the health benefits of this ingredient.

Unlike the majority of other super greens formulas that I review, that contain a variety of ingredients, there’s only one ingredient in the Super Green Maeng Da Powder and that’s Kratom.
Kratom, also known as Mitragyna speciosa, is a tree in the coffee family from Southeast Asia. This type of Kratom is Maeng Da, a red-veined potent strain that’s popular in Indonesia because it provides both energy and relaxation.
The ‘Super’ part of this powder comes from the harvesting technique of the leaves – the biggest leaves are chosen because they provide the most impressive benefits.
Super Green Maeng Da Kratom in particular is high in alkaloid content which aids with relaxation and reducing stress and anxiety.
How does Super Green Maeng Da Powder Taste?
The Super Green Maeng Da Powder exclusively contains Kratom, and therefore the formula doesn’t have any flavoring ingredients. Kratom is known for having a strong grassy taste and therefore it can be overwhelming for a lot of people.

Of course, we do have to be aware that these reviews could be biased – especially because in one of the reviews, there’s a mention of a 15% discount for those that leave a review. However, they’re all we have to look at, so let’s look at a selection of them!

Is It Worth The Price?
Super Green Maeng Da Powder by PurKratom is available in a variety of different size pouches, but for the sake of comparison with other super greens formulas on the market that normally include around 200-300 grams of formula, I’ll be taking a look at the ½ lb (226.8g) pouch.
It’s a little difficult to work out the cost per serving, as PurKratom doesn’t recommend a specific measurement of the formula.
The brand recommends two spoons and in blogs written by the team, they claim that people consume 1-3g of it at a time, but people that are more used to taking it will consume much larger amounts.
However, the brand states that there are approximately 122 servings in a 1/2 lb pouch. The cost of this pouch is $89.99 and therefore the cost per serving would be approximately $0.74.
This is a very reasonable cost per serving, but if you’re taking consuming more, then obviously it'll work out more expensive.
My Final Verdict
If you’re in the USA and you want to consume Kratom, and you’re going to consume it in a sensible way, then purchasing this formula is a good idea.
The PurKratom brand seems transparent, trustworthy and the formula is potent and will provide the consumer with benefits.
This is an interesting product and one that I wasn't too familiar with before checking this out more. I am more inclined to go with an all-round greens product than a single ingredient supplement.
