Prebiotic Greens Review

Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens Review

Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens isn't your typical super greens formula.

The brand claims it's packed with some of the “most mineral-dense veggies on earth” but with it not containing typical super greens ingredients such as kale or spinach.

Transparent Labs claims that the two-part formula consisting of algae greens and prebiotic fiber will provide essential nutrients to boost overall wellbeing, provide heavy metal detoxification, and support and improve the digestive process.

I'm really interested in taking a closer look at this formula because the ingredients are not only quite different from other formulas on the market, but the focus on less is more, which I really like!

Let’s take a look and find out in my full Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens review below.

Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens First Impressions

My first impression of the Prebiotic Greens formula and the Transparent Labs brand overall is a good one.

Everything from the simple, yet bold and clean branding to the informative website showcasing a wide array of supplements shows how on point the brand is. It’s pretty obvious why Transparent Labs is such a successful brand.

The Prebiotic Greens formula sits within the ‘Wellness Series’ on the Transparent Labs site, and this series also showcases supplements like vitamin D, magnesium, and sleep aid capsules.

Looking at other ranges on the website, the brand produces everything from pre-workout formula to joint support tablets and has an extensive list of supplements with new releases coming onto the website frequently.

Transparent Labs Wellness Series supplements

The Prebiotic Greens formula is gluten-free, non-GMO, free from artificial flavorings, free from artificial sweeteners and preservatives. Although the brand doesn’t market the formula as being vegan or vegetarian friendly, looking at the ingredients list, it is.

As impressive as this all is, the thing I appreciate the most when first looking at the Prebiotic Greens formula specifically is that the amounts of ingredients are listed on the front of the tub.

This straight away shows the consumer the brand is transparent and proprietary blends aren’t going to exist within the formula – this is the first thing I look for in my supplement review criteria.

Background on Transparent Labs

Founded in 2014, Transparent Labs was born from a desire to make natural, properly tested and transparently labeled supplements, hence the brand’s name.

The brand was co-founded by Trevor Hiltbrand, who grew the company to reach over $30 million in sales.

One thing that really sets the brand apart from its competitors is that it has a third party produce certificates of analysis for every single product it creates. This is really impressive as it shows how much the brand sticks by its aims of being transparent.

It’s obvious why the brand has managed to make so many sales – the effort the team behind it has put into making sure everything is perfect and clear for the consumer is outstanding.

Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens Ingredients

Transparent Labs recommends a serving size of 16.17g per serving, which is a really significant size serving in comparison to other super greens formulas on the market.

The formula only contains 6 main ingredients and 4 ingredients for flavoring.

I really like the fact the brand is completely transparent and informs the consumer about exactly how much of each ingredient is present.

The fact that there aren’t any proprietary blends used in this formula is a huge bonus for the consumer because they can actually work out how much of a particular ingredient they are consuming and whether or not the formula actually contains the recommended daily dose of each ingredient.

So, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula.

  • Spirulina Broken Cell (3,000mg)
  • Organic Chlorella (Broken Cell) (3,000mg)
  • Organic Acacia Fiber (3,000mg)
  • Organic Green Banana Flour (Zuvii) (3,000mg)
  • Organic Jerusalem Artichoke Fiber (1,000mg)
  • Chicory Root (1,000mg)
  • Other Ingredients: Natural Flavour (1,475mg), Malic Acid (420mg), Stevia (210mg), Cinnamon (60mg)

After looking at the ingredients list it’s clear why the recommended serving size is 16.17g.

How does Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens Taste?

The formula is available in either Peach Mango or unflavored. The unflavored formula does have a more typical super greens taste, but it’s still not overpowering.

The Peach Mango flavor is refreshing and sweet but also isn’t overpowering so can be added to either water or mixed within a smoothie or shake. The formula also mixes well.

Side Effects

There aren’t any side effects warnings on the Prebiotic Greens formula and you shouldn’t experience any issues when consuming it.

Does Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens Work?

This formula will work because there are no proprietary blends present, and the amount of each ingredient in the formula is the correct amount to ensure the consumer receives benefits.

For example, According to Healthline, the recommended daily dose of daily Spirulina is between 1-3g. This formula contains 3000mg (3g) of Spirulina.

If we take a look at Chlorella, although there’s not a universal daily recommended dose, consumers have shown that a daily dose of 2-5 grams of chlorella benefits them, and with 3000mg (3mg) in this formula, it’s spot on.

Overall, the formula should work and it’s clear there’s been a huge amount of both effort and scientific research done for the creation of it.

Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens Reviews

The Prebiotic Greens formula isn’t available on Amazon and therefore I’ve had to take a look at the reviews on the Transparent Labs website.

Just bear in mind that because they’re on the brand’s site, these reviews could be biased.

There are 50 reviews of the product, with all being 5-star apart from 9 reviews that rated the product 4-star.

Let’s take a look selection of the reviews:

I’ve noticed I have a general sense of regularity and less bloating when I stay consistent on these greens. It’s a daily drink for me. Mixes well with water and protein. The better tasting of similar supplements but never something you just crave.5-star review

When mixed with water, the powder dissolves very well. I imagined it would be chunky, but surprisingly it dilutes to a good consistency with cold water and it ends up being a refreshing drink. The taste is great and has a very good amount of sweetness to it. My stomach is very sensitive, and a lot of things make me nauseous, but this supplement is very gentle on the stomach. Great supplement!4-star review

My go-to every morning. Especially if you don’t intake enough greens, this stuff is great. Taste isn’t bad at all.5-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Transparent Labs doesn’t have a money-back guarantee, but they do have a refund policy.

However, clearly the brand has been scammed quite frequently and therefore they have made the return process a lot more extensive.

If you email the brand straight away and ask to be considered for a refund and send the unopened package back within 90 days, you may qualify for a refund.

Where to buy Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens?

As mentioned above, the brand doesn’t sell the product on Amazon, and although it does have an affiliate scheme and can be bought at an array of supplement distributors, you are best to purchase the formula from the Transparent Labs website directly.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Prebiotic Greens costs $36.00. This works out at a cost per serving of $1.20. You can make savings by buying two or more tubs, reducing the per tub cost down to $33.

It’s impressive that the brand can produce the formula and sell it for such a great price.

Transparent Labs ship worldwide except for a select number of countries and the cost of shipping varies depending on where you are ordering the product to.

My Verdict

I am really impressed by the Transparent Labs Prebiotic Greens formula, and I don’t think I have one negative word to say about either the brand or the formula.

The formula is a low cost, high quality, and will actually provide the consumer with the ingredients needed to produce the benefits the brand claims it will.

The only negative I could pick out with this product is the fact that the brand doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee, but the brand did explain that it has had trouble with scammers, so it’s understandable that they don’t offer this anymore. Once again, the explanation of this just shows how transparent the brand is.

Overall, this is a great brand with a solid formula and it certainly lives up to its name and success.
