Vegatox Super Greens review

Vegatox Super Greens Review

Vegatox is a UK-based holistic health brand that exclusively produces the Vegatox Super Greens Powder. With only 8 superfood ingredients, the brand has decided to focus on quality and potency over quantity, which I appreciate massively.

Vegatox claims that the formula will not only provide a range of essential micronutrients daily, but it will also provide significant other health benefits too, such as a boosted immune system and better digestion.

Vegatox was only founded last year but has already become a popular small business, especially within the UK, so I’m really keen to take a look at this formula to see how many boxes it really ticks.

If you’re thinking about purchasing this formula or you’re intrigued to take a closer look, check out my full Vegatox review below for more information.

Vegatox First Impressions

As soon as you click on the Vegatox website you get hit with vibrant images and lots of information – it’s certainly enticing!

I really like the fact that the brand has made such an effort to make everything so visually appealing, from the look of the website to the design of the actual formula pouch. I also really appreciate that all of the product information is so easily accessible and visible straight away.

The fact that the brand has embedded its Instagram account to the page and added informative content about how to detox are both nice touches too.

The formula itself looks great, especially because all of the ingredients are ethically sourced, the product is made and rigorously tested in the UK and there aren’t filler ingredients.

So, I’m very excited to look more closely and see if the product is actually as good as it looks at an initial glance.

Background on Vegatox

Founded at the end of 2019 by holistic coach and herbal practitioner, Kate Cassidy, Vegatox is a UK-based super greens brand.

After Kate recognized the health benefits of taking super greens in her own life, such as increased overall health and weight loss, she decided to create a super greens formula to improve other people’s lives too.

The brand exclusively produces the Vegatox super greens formula.

Vegatox Benefits

Vegatox claims that the potent selection of super greens ingredients in the formula will provide an array of health benefits for the consumer.

The brand claims the formula will support immunity, aid the body to detox, increase energy levels, protect cells from oxidative stress and radical change, and provide increased daily nutrients.

Vegatox has also provided health benefits information about each ingredient within the formula, which I really appreciate! For example, “Moringa protects the liver from oxidative stress, toxicity and damage. Its high antioxidant content will help the body to fight off free radical damage”.

Vegatox Ingredients

Unlike other super greens formulas that feature a wide range of ingredients, usually containing fruits, probiotics, and enzymes, Vegatox has decided to commit to including only the most important super green and superfood ingredients.

The formula only contains 8 ingredients, and although I typically do appreciate quality over quantity, Vegatox doesn’t provide the amounts of each ingredient. So, the ingredients could be underdosed and no one would ever know – not ideal!

However, we’re going to take a closer look at whether the formula will work or not later.

Let’s actually take a look at the ingredients list.

  • Wheatgrass, Barleygrass, Chlorella, Spirulina, Moringa, Maca, Camu Camu, Baobab.

Each serving size is small at just 5 grams which immediately makes me question if these super greens are underdosing!

How does Vegatox Taste?

Vegatox doesn’t have any flavoring ingredients in the formula, and therefore the formula tastes of the super greens ingredients within it – it’s potent and grassy!

The formula certainly has an acquired taste, and the brand knows it. The brand recommends adding the formula to a smoothie or juice for a better-tasting drink.

Side Effects

Vegatox states that this formula is suitable for pretty much everybody, including children and the elderly. However, the brand does suggest that if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor before consumption.

On the Vegatox website FAQs, there’s a question about feeling unwell after consuming the formula, and the brand claims that any experience of headaches, nausea, or mucus secretion are all caused by the process of the body detoxing.

Does Vegatox Work?

Although the Vegatox formula seems to tick nearly every other box, the ingredients label really lets the product down. Unfortunately, Vegatox has decided to not disclose the amount of each ingredient within the formula.

As much as I hate proprietary blends, at least with them you can estimate whether the formula will actually work or not, but when there’s absolutely no information (as there is with this formula), it’s impossible to try and figure it out.

The only thing we can use to try and figure out whether this formula is going to work or not is the recommended serving size.

The recommended serving size is 5g, but the brand recommends taking 1-2 servings per day, meaning that they probably know that one serving isn’t going to provide enough nutrients.

If we look at the recommended serving size of some of the ingredients within the formula, we can see that one serving size probably isn’t going to provide a sufficient amount of each ingredient.

it’s unlikely (nay, impossible) for the formula to provide sufficient amounts of each ingredient at the serving size of 5g

For example, looking at spirulina (one of my go-to ingredients when looking at formulas), the recommended daily amount is 1-3g (Source).

Then, looking at maca, the recommended daily amount is between 3-3.5g (source).

The daily recommended amount of wheatgrass is 3-5g (source), and chlorella sits between 2-5g (source).

The other ingredients don’t have daily recommended amounts, but even looking at these ingredients alone, it would mean the daily serving of Vegatox would have to be at least 9g to meet the lower daily recommended amounts.

Therefore, it’s unlikely (nay, impossible) for the formula to provide sufficient amounts of each ingredient at the serving size of 5g. If you are going to consume this formula, you will need to take at least 2 servings (10g) per day.

Vegatox Reviews

Vegatox Super Greens formula is available on Amazon, so we can look at real customer reviews there!

The formula only has 15 ratings, but overall, it scores 4.7 stars out of 5 stars, with no reviews below 3-stars. Let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews below.

It has 8 powerful ingredients that I was buying separately prior to purchasing this. Good quality doesn’t taste bad on its own, however, put in a smoothie tastes great. I'm really pleased I found this and it’s a really reasonable price for the quality of the product. Highly recommend and given the current importance of maintaining our health and wellbeing, this should be an important component of your daily approach to nutrition.5-star review

Great product… Just what I was looking for, fab blend of ingredients, and really reasonable price. Will buy again 🙂5-star review

Usually get the amazing grass berry flavor superfood but as the price for that keeps increasing I thought I'll give something else a try. Not particularly impressed with this, if anything I felt and looked more bloated. Didn't aid in good digestion as bowel movements completely changed. I did however notice a little more energy but I dying think I would buy it again.3-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Vegatox doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee as such, but if you’re unhappy with the product within the first 30-days of using it, you can send it back and you may be partially refunded. If you send the product back unopened and not used you can get a full refund.

Where to buy Vegatox?

You can buy the Vegatox Super Greens formula from the Vegatox website and from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

One pouch of Vegatox contains 250g of formula (which provides 50 servings) and costs $21.00. This works out at a cost per serving of $0.42, which is obviously incredibly cheap!

However, the brand recommends either one or two servings per day, meaning that if you took two servings per day, the cost per serving would be vastly different.

For example, if you took two servings daily, one pouch of Vegatox would provide you with only 25 days worth of servings. This would work out at a cost per serving of $0.84, which whilst still incredibly cheap, seems more reasonable.

If you order within the UK, standard shipping charges apply, but you can get free shipping if you spend over £35. Vegatox also ships internationally, but the delivery fee depends on where you are in the world and the weight of your order.

My Final Verdict

Looking at Vegatox for the first time, my initial impressions were good, and I really had high hopes for this formula.

In fact, the formula pretty much scores highly in every category I reviewed it on, apart from the taste and whether it will actually work or not, which of course, are important categories!

However, the formula is unbelievably cheap, and at a cost per serving of $0.42 – $0.84, I have to say that if you’re looking for a basic, possibly not sufficiently dosed, super greens top up every day, you could give it a try.

If you’re looking for a jam-packed, all-around impressive, and properly dosed super greens powder though, I would look elsewhere.
