Your Super vs Organifi Green Juice

Your Super vs Organifi Green Juice

Your Super and Organifi Green Juice are very similar formulas, hence the reason there’s such a demand for a comparison of the two. Both formulas are USDA-certified organic, vegan, contain a small number of ingredients, and have similar benefits.

Organifi is the more established brand, having been around for five more years than Your Super, and therefore the Organifi Green Juice formula is more popular and well-renowned. However, Your Super is gaining customers and supporters fast, so seeing how the two formulas compare will be interesting.

I’m eager to look at both of these formulas and compare them for the same reason that everyone else is – they’re so similar and target the same clientele! So, which one comes out on top?

If you’re keen to find that out and want to learn more about each formula on the way, check out my full Your Super vs Organifi Green Juice comparison review below.

What Is Your Super?

Your Super Greens Mix is a greens formula containing only 6 ingredients. However, the ingredients within the formula are incredibly potent, so it’s definitely quality over quality!

As mentioned above, the formula is USDA-certified organic, meaning that over 95% of the ingredients within the formula are organic. The formula is also non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free.

Your Super is marketed toward those living busy lives who might not be able to find time to ensure they’re receiving the right amount of nutrition daily.

The brand claims the formula will boost the immune system, support the digestive system, and provide essential vitamins and minerals for optimal overall wellbeing.

Although I will look at almost every aspect of the formula more closely later in the comparison, it’s apparent to me that there’s a problem with this formula. Unfortunately, the brand doesn’t provide information about the amount of each ingredient within the formula – this isn’t good!

Before we dive deeper and look at the Your Super formula more closely, let’s look at the pros and cons of the formula as a whole.

YourSuper Super Green Drink Mix

Pros

  • USDA certified organic
  • Some Potent superfood ingredients
  • Compassionate brand ethos

Cons

  • Doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label
  • The taste is debated

What Is Organifi Green Juice?

Organifi Green Juice also only contains a small number of ingredients too, clearly taking a ‘quality over quantity’ approach like Your Super. This formula contains ten main superfood ingredients and 6 ‘other ingredients’.

The formula is USDA-certified organic, vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free, just like the Your Super formula!

Organifi claims that the Green Juice formula will help to detox the body (push toxins from the body and protect cells from radical damage), aid with weight management, boost the immune system, balance hormones, and reduce cortisol levels.

Unfortunately, the Organifi Green Juice formula also takes after the Your Super formula because it doesn’t contain a fully disclosed ingredients label. However, the only (kind of) saving grace to the Organifi Green Juice ingredients list is that the amounts of the proprietary blends are shown.

However, I’ll look at the formula more in-depth later. First, let’s look at the pros and cons of the formula as a whole.

Organifi Green Juice New Look

  • USDA Certified Organic
  • Potent ingredients, including probiotic powder
  • Positive reviews from influencers/celebrities

Your Super Vs Organifi Green Juice Benefits

Your Super

I would say that the Your Super marketing team needs to push the benefits of this formula a little more, as it looks like the formula only provides three main benefits.

The brand claims that the formula will boost immunity, support the digestive system, and provide essential vitamins and minerals, as mentioned above. In particular, the formula is supposed to provide a large dose of vitamin A, K, C, calcium, potassium, folate, and iron.

Looking more closely at the Super Green Mix product page on the Your Super website, the brand provides a small amount of information about the individual benefits each ingredient may provide.

For example,

Spirulina is a microalgae, the highest natural source of protein and was first discovered by the Aztecs in the 16th Century who consumed it daily for energy and strength

Organifi Green Juice

The Organifi Green Juice also doesn’t have many benefits associated with it, but it definitely has more than the Your Super Mix.

The Organifi Green Juice formula is supposed to be a “Detox, Immunity & Metabolism Support”, and the health benefits that the brand claims the formula will have support this statement.

Organifi claims that the Green Juice formula will detox the body, balance hormones, reduce cortisol levels, aid with weight management, help with burning fat, increase the alkalinity of the body and boost the immune system.

The brand also supplies a small amount of information about the ingredients, just like Your Super.

For example,

Ashwagandha – important Ayurvedic herb and adaptogen has shown to decrease cortisol

Your Super Vs Organifi Green Juice Ingredients

Your Super

As mentioned, the Your Super Greens formula contains 6 ingredients. These ingredients are some of the most potent super greens on the planet, and they’re the super greens you’ll see in most greens formulas.

These ingredients that make up the formula are organic wheatgrass, organic barley grass, organic moringa, organic baobab, organic spirulina, and organic chlorella.

However, the Baobab in the formula is a rare ingredient that’s not typically seen in superfood powders, but it does have an extensive list of health benefits, so that’s intriguing!

Unfortunately, the one thing that I can not get my head around is the fact that the brand has chosen to not inform the consumer about the amount of each ingredient within the formula.

Since the ingredients aren’t fully disclosed, it’s impossible to tell if the ingredients within the formula are actually sufficiently dosed enough to provide health benefits to the consumer.

One thing that really worries me when it comes to the efficacy of this formula is that the serving size of the formula is only 5g, which is a really small dose.

In fact, the spirulina, chlorella, and wheatgrass within the formula all come to a daily recommended dose of 6g (this is the minimum), and these are only three of the ingredients within the formula.

Therefore this would lead me to believe that some of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed.

Organifi Green Juice

Organifi Green Juice contains 10 whole superfood ingredients and 6 ‘other ingredients’ that include a probiotic powder and the formula’s flavoring ingredients.

Obviously, the main focus of the formula lies with the 10 superfood ingredients. These are wheatgrass, wheatgrass juice powder (this seems strange that the ingredient is repeated!), moringa, spirulina, chlorella, matcha, coconut water powder, ashwagandha, red beetroot, and turmeric.

Although all of these ingredients are potent and will provide impressive benefits if sufficiently dosed, the problem is that it’s unclear if the ingredients are sufficiently dosed.

Similar to the Your Super formula, Organifi Green Juice doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label. However, rather than not having any information at all on the ingredients label, there’s information about the amount of each proprietary blend within the formula.

Although, it’s still impossible to find out if the ingredients are sufficiently dosed and if the formula will be effective, so it’s not exactly a bonus.

Looking at the Alkaline Greens Proprietary Blend within the formula that weighs 5.1g, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula can be sufficiently dosed.

In fact, we can look at the exact same ingredients as we did with Your Super – the spirulina, chlorella, and wheatgrass within the formula all come to a daily recommended dose of 6g (as mentioned when looking at Your Super) and this blend only weighs 5.1g, so not all of the ingredients are sufficiently dosed!

Your Super Vs Organifi Green Juice Taste

Your Super

Your Super Greens Mix doesn’t contain any flavoring ingredients, and there’s nothing to sweeten the formula either. However, Your Super markets the formula as tasting of lemon and greens.

I’m personally not a huge fan of the taste of the formula. Although it does have a classic, grassy, super greens taste that I don’t tend to mind, the citrusy tones within the formula just put me off.

Many people who aren’t used to consuming super greens powders will have a hard time finding this grassy tasting formula actually palatable.

Organifi Green Juice

Organifi Green Juice isn’t marketed as having a particular flavor, but the formula has quite a few flavoring and sweetening ingredients.

The brand has used lemon powder, orange flavoring, spearmint, and mint flavoring to try and cover up the taste of the greens, and it’s sweetened using monk fruit extract.

Personally, I’m also not a huge fan of the taste of this formula and I think the brand might have been better off choosing one or two flavors and committing to making the formula taste like that, rather than adding in so many different ingredients to the mix.

Just like with the Your Super formula, people that aren’t used to consuming greens powders may struggle with this formula because it still retains a grassy super greens taste.

Your Super Vs Organifi Cost

Your Super

Your Super Greens Mix is sold in containers holding 30 servings of formula, and one container costs $34.90. This works out at a cost per serving of $1.16.

If you want to subscribe to the formula, you can save 20%, which then makes the cost per serving $0.93.

This is a relatively cheap formula in comparison to other greens powders on the market. However, I wouldn’t expect a formula without a fully disclosed ingredients label to cost any more than this, especially when the formula contains only 6 ingredients.

Organifi Green Juice

Organifi Green Juice is also sold in tubs containing 30 servings, and one tub costs $69.95. This works out at a cost per serving of $2.33.

You can save 26% by subscribing to the formula. If you do this, one tub will cost $59.46, working out at a cost per serving of $1.98.

As the formula is made up of proprietary blends, I think it’s incredibly overpriced. I wouldn’t pay anywhere near this amount of money for a formula that doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label.

You can purchase greens powders with fully disclosed ingredients labels for around the same price, so it shocks me that Organifi charges this much.

Your Super Vs Organifi: Which is Better?

Honestly, I think that both the Your Super brand and the Organifi brand are impressive, and clearly, a lot of people think the same because both brands are incredibly successful.

The two formulas are unbelievably similar in pretty much every aspect, and the fact that both of the formulas don’t have fully disclosed labels is disappointing.

I wouldn’t choose to purchase either of these formulas because I want a super greens formula that’s actually going to contain the right amount of each ingredient and be effective. Instead, I’d purchase a potent greens powder with a fully disclosed ingredients label!

The Your Super formula might be better suited to those on a budget, but because the Organifi formula contains more ingredients, the amounts of the blends are shown and it tastes better, I have to say Organifi Green Juice is the winner for me.
