Best Vegan Multivitamin

Whether you’re a strict vegan, you’re allergic to dairy and lactose, or you simply want to step away from consuming animal products for a while, you’ll want to find the best possible multivitamin to ensure that your nutrient intake stays at an optimal level daily!

Although you might assume that all multivitamins are vegan-friendly, that’s certainly not the case.

In fact, most multivitamins are either sold in gelatin capsules or contain animal products, from lactose ingredients to fish oils.

Therefore, it can be a little tricky to find the perfect vegan multivitamin!

However, not to panic, because in this article I have put together a selection of the best vegan multivitamins out there.

So, check out my top 5 vegan multivitamins below and simply choose which is best for you!

5 Best Vegan Multivitamins

Although vegan multivitamins may all be similar, each supplement is unique and specifically formulated.

Each has a specific list of pros and cons, contains different vitamins and minerals, costs different amounts, and provides different benefits.

So, it’s useful to take a look at a selection of the vegan multivitamins that I have in this review and see which one best suits your needs, is within your budget, and provides the nutrients that you’re looking for.

1Performance Lab NutriGenesis Multi

The NutriGenesis Multivitamins, produced by the supplement brand Performance Lab are multivitamins that supply the consumer with over 17 vitamins and minerals.

The multivitamins are available for both men and women, with the women’s capsules containing iron and more vitamin B9 (folate) than the men’s, and the men’s formula containing more zinc and boron.

This fluctuation ensures the nutritional needs of both men and women are specifically targeted.

The multivitamins contain a wide range of vitamins and minerals, including essential ones for vegan health, such as B12. Even the capsules are made from fermented tapioca, providing prebiotic-infused multivitamins!

These multivitamins are supposed to improve vitality and health, support the digestive system, support hormones, boost the immune system, increase energy levels, and more.

The multivitamin formula is also obviously vegan-friendly, soy-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, wheat-free, non-GMO, gluten-free, and it is banned-substance tested.

The cost of these multivitamins is slightly more expensive than others on the market, with a cost per serving working out at $1.30.

  • Fully disclosed label.
  • Wide range of vitamins and minerals.
  • Popular brand.

  • Slightly more expensive than other multivitamins on the market.

2Future Kind Vegan Multivitamins

Future Kind Vegan Multivitamins are soft gel capsules that contain vitamin D, vitamin B12, and Omega 3 oil.

Unlike the Performance Lab multivitamins, these ones are specifically targeted towards those on vegan diets, to reduce the likelihood of malnutrition of these specific vitamins and minerals.

These multivitamins are suitable for adults and children (as long as they’re older than 11), and they are supposed to increase energy levels, improve brain focus and concentration, boost mood, boost the immune system, protect the joints, and more!

For a lot of people, there are two big appeals to these multivitamins, aside from the fact that they provide essential micronutrients.

These are that the packaging is all eco-friendly and the company focuses on sustainability, and that the soft gels are citrus flavored and easy to swallow.

The only downside to this product that I can see is that the multivitamins only contain these 3 micronutrients.

Of course, these three ingredients are essential to a healthy diet, but there’s a whole list of vitamins and minerals that are also essential.

This multivitamin formula is also obviously vegan-friendly, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, wheat-free, and sugar-free.

The cost per serving of these multivitamins works out at $1.00, which is slightly more reasonable than the Performance Lab multivitamins.

  • Produced by a well-known brand that’s eco-friendly.
  • Easy-to-swallow capsules that taste good.
  • Provides three very essential micronutrients for a vegan diet.

  • Missing other essential micronutrients.

3Dosely Multivitamin

Dosely multivitamins have become incredibly popular since the company was launched in 2020.

Dosely multivitamins are sold as four-week packs, containing one multivitamin each day, so you make sure that you consume it and don’t overdose!

The multivitamins contain 18+ essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B12.

Just like Performance Labs, the brand has decided to produce different multivitamins for men and women.

The multivitamins are supposed to boost energy, support the immune system, improve mental clarity, strengthen hair and nails and improve the appearance of skin.

The multivitamin formula is obviously vegan-friendly, non-GMO, hypoallergenic, soy-free, and wheat-free.

You can either buy one four-week pack for $20, working out at a cost per serving of $0.71, or you can subscribe to receiving an eight-week pack every 8 weeks for $36, working out at a cost per serving of $0.64.

This is a really low-cost, budget-friendly formula, which surprises me and many, for such a modern-looking, forward-thinking business.

However, the only thing that may be a problem with this formula is that the serving size of each capsule is small, and therefore you may not receive the correct amount of each vitamin and mineral.

  • Budget-friendly.
  • Wide range of vitamins and minerals.
  • Forward-thinking daily planner packaging!

  • Small serving size, therefore may not be sufficiently potent.

4Now Supplements Daily Vits

Now Supplements is a popular supplement brand that produces high-quality formulas and multivitamins.

The Daily Vits multivitamins contain 15+ essential vitamins and minerals, and although the multivitamins aren’t specifically targeted towards vegans, they are vegan!

Now Supplements doesn’t actually provide a lot of information about the benefits associated with this formula.

However, with so many essential vitamins and minerals, these multivitamins will help improve overall health, boost the immune system and boost energy levels.

The multivitamins are vegan, of course, as well as non-GMO, dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, and nut-free.

The cost per serving of the multivitamins works out at $0.87, meaning the cost is reasonable and suitable for those on budgets.

The only problem that I can find with these multivitamins is that although there are so many minerals and vitamins in each tablet, the serving size is small and therefore may not contain sufficiently dosed amounts of each essential micronutrient, just like the Dosely multivitamins.

  • Budget-friendly.
  • Wide range of vitamins and minerals.
  • Well-known brand.

  • Small serving size, therefore may not be sufficiently potent.

5Hippo7 Vegan Complete

Vegan Complete, produced by Hippo7, are vegan multivitamins that contain 7 essential vitamins and minerals.

The multivitamin formula is packaged in easy to swallow vegetarian capsules.

Founded just over a year and a half ago, the brand has become incredibly popular, which means that the multivitamins must be fairly impressive seeing as that’s the only product that the brand sells.

Hippo7 doesn’t actually give much information about the benefits of the multivitamins, which is a shame, just like Now Supplements.

However, the multivitamins should boost the immune system, boost energy levels, and support overall health.

The multivitamin formula is obviously vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, sugar-free, and preservative-free.

The formula can either be purchased on a one-time purchase for $39, working out a cost per serving of $1.30, or on a subscription for a cost per serving of $0.90.

The one-off purchase of these multivitamins is slightly expensive, but the subscription option offers a more reasonably priced option!

  • Over 1,200+ positive customer reviews.
  • Easy-to-swallow capsules.

  • Slightly more expensive than other multivitamins.

Frequently Asked Questions About Vegan Multivitamins – Answered!

What Are The Most Important Vitamins To Take As A Vegan?

Vegans and vegetarians need to ensure that they’re consuming enough vitamin B12, iron, and calcium, as people with these types of diets are often at risk of being deficient in these micronutrients.

Why Are Multivitamins Important?

With more and more people leading busy and stressful lives, fast food consumption and low-nutrition food are on the rise!

Therefore, multivitamins are important because they provide consumers with essential vitamins and minerals that improve nutrient intake and close any nutritional gaps in their diet.

However, sometimes, tablets are too small to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients. Therefore, looking to superfood powders may be useful, even if you take a multivitamin and a superfood powder – see which works for you.

The Bottom Line

Multivitamins are like a kind of nutritional insurance, giving you the essential micronutrients you need to go about your life in a more optimal state of health – something we’re all aiming for!

After reading this review and looking at the selection of my top 5 vegan multivitamins on the market, hopefully, you’re ready to choose a multivitamin that suits you!
