Ladyboss Greens Review: Benefits, Drawbacks, And Costs

Ladyboss Greens is a greens superfood formula that contains a wide range of vegetables, fruits, herbal extracts, and adaptogens. The formula is produced by the US-based supplement brand, Ladyboss.

The formula is supposed to aid weight loss, promote higher energy levels, improve immunity, and more.

The founders of Ladyboss have been mentioned in some of the most popular media channels out there, such as Forbes, Buzzfeed, and CNN.

Therefore, I’m definitely keen to take a closer look at the company and in particular, the greens formula they produce.

If you’re thinking of purchasing the Ladyboss Greens, or you also want to take a closer look at the formula, check out my full Ladyboss Greens review below.

What is Ladyboss Greens?

I’m really not crazy about the Ladyboss website to be honest.

Even though I’m not a woman and this company is clearly targeting women, it gives me a very scam-like kind of feeling – there’s just an absolute overwhelm of information and the products are being pushed towards you hard.

Looking at Ladyboss Greens, I have a very similar first impression. The formula looks badly branded, there’s just an overwhelming amount of information about the product, and the content is all over the show!

However, I would say that I like the fact that the brand offers free guides and recipe books once you order from them.

Background on Ladyboss

Ladyboss was founded by couple Brandon and Kaelin Poulin in 2014. The company’s biggest aim is to help women with losing weight. Over the years, the company has had incredible amounts of success.

However, the pushy approach of the company has not gone without problems.

Ladyboss is not BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited and in fact, it has nearly 200 complaints on the BBB about the “scam” feeling of the company/unpaid refunds/bad products, etc.

This is certainly a concern.

Ladyboss Greens Benefits

Ladyboss Greens is supposed to help with weight management, push toxins from the body, fight free radicals, boost the immune system, reduce inflammation, and improve energy levels.

The brand also supplies information about the benefits associated with some of the most powerful ingredients within the formula. For example, “Wheatgrass Powder – This staple superfood helps combat the effects of extrinsic aging and promotes a healthy inflammatory response in the body”.

Ladyboss Greens Ingredients

The Ladyboss Greens formula contains over 50 ingredients in total. However, all of these ingredients exist within proprietary blends, meaning it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient sits within the formula.

This makes it incredibly hard to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’ll be taking a look at that in much more detail later in this review. First, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula!

Here is the complete list of the Ladyboss Greens ingredients:

  • LADYBOSS GREENS Proprietary Antioxidant SuperBlend – 3100mg –Acai Powder, Peppermint Leaf Powder, Blackberry Fruit Powder, Strawberry Fruit Powder, Apple Fruit Juice Powder, Raspberry Fruit Powder, Cranberry Powder, Blueberry Fruit Powder, Cucumber Powder, Grape Seed Extract.
  • LADYBOSS GREENS Proprietary Greens SuperBlend – 2060mg –Wheat Grass Powder, Kale Leaf Powder, Barley Grass Powder, Parsley Leaf Powder, Cauliflower Powder, Broccoli Powder, Spinach Leaf Powder.

How does Ladyboss Greens Taste?

Ladyboss Greens is Apple Pie flavored and sweetened with sucralose. Sucralose is a controversial artificial sweetener that may raise blood sugar and insulin levels. So, that's not ideal!

Although some people claim to love the taste of the formula, most customer reviews state that the formula tastes overly sweetened and nothing like Apple Pie!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Ladyboss Greens formula and the brand doesn’t provide any information about who shouldn’t consume the formula.

I would recommend that no one who is pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or with a medical condition should consume this formula without consulting a doctor first.

Does Ladyboss Greens Work?

Unfortunately, the Ladyboss Greens ingredients label is not disclosed due to the fact that it contains a number of proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s incredibly hard to figure out the efficacy of the formula.

However, we can take a look at the total amount of the ingredients within each proprietary blend and compare it to the combined recommended doses of the ingredients within each blend to see if there’s a potential for them to be sufficiently dosed.

The Proprietary Antioxidant SuperBlend formula totals 3.1g and since there aren’t any ingredients apart from one (the grape seed extract within the formula has a recommended dose of 150 mg to 750 mg) with a standard recommended dose within this blend, it could contain sufficiently dosed ingredients that may provide benefits!

However, the same cannot be said for the other blends.

The majority of the ingredients within the formula are insufficiently dosed.

The Proprietary Greens SuperBlend totals 2.06g, and the only ingredient with a standard recommended dose within this blend is wheatgrass. However, with a recommended dose of 3g, it’s impossible that this ingredient is sufficiently dosed.

The Proprietary Immunity SuperBlend totals 2.96g.

However, the combined recommended dose of just three of the ingredients – spirulina, chlorella, and moringa, – works out at 4.5g. Therefore, it’s impossible for all of these ingredients to be sufficiently dosed too!

Overall, although some of the ingredients within the formula may provide benefits, the majority of them (the ingredients that are most powerful), are insufficiently dosed.

Therefore, it may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.

Ladyboss Greens Reviews

Ladyboss Greens is available on Amazon and therefore we can take a look at the customer reviews of the formula on there.

Overall, there are 231 customer reviews and it scores a rating of 4 stars out of 5 stars.

Let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews.

Definitely drink this cold. Smell isn’t too good- but it isn’t bad. The flavor is a million times better than I expected. Don’t let the drink settle for too long. It’s best to keep in a shaker glass if you're not a fast drinker! This may be able to replace my morning coffee.5-star review

It doesn't taste like apple pie ! I wanted to try it because I know I don’t eat enough greens but I just could not get over the taste!3-star review

This doesn't taste even remotely like apple pie. This was disgusting! I am so glad I could use Amazon prime and not have to pay for a subscription from the website. Would not recommend this to anyone. Was so excited about this product but it was a horrible disappointment! 1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Ladyboss does not offer a money-back guarantee and makes it hard to figure out how you can return a product.

Apparently, if you want to return a product you have to do so within 30 days from purchase and you need to contact the company whilst also initiating a return merchandise authorization. Then, they may process your refund.

Where to buy Ladyboss Greens?

You can buy Ladyboss Greens from the LadyBoss website and from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

You can either buy the Ladyboss Greens on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option. You can also either buy one singular tub, two, or three – the more bottles you buy, the cheaper it is.

Each tub of Ladyboss Greens contains 30 servings of formula.

On a one-time purchase, one tub costs $59.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.99.

On a subscription, one tub costs $49.76, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.65.

If you purchase three bottles on a one-time purchase, the cost per serving works out at $1.59.

If you purchase three bottles on a subscription option, the cost per serving works out at $1.29.

Unfortunately, since the formula most likely contains a number of insufficiently dosed ingredients and the company has a variety of complaints against it, I don’t think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

I wasn’t too keen on the Ladyboss brand when initially looking at its website, and unfortunately, I definitely haven’t fallen in love with it after looking at the Ladyboss Greens formula.

Unfortunately, the formula seems to be overly priced, lacking sufficiently dosed ingredients, overly sweet, and produced by a company that seems less than bothered about customer service.

Therefore, if you’re looking for a greens formula, I would recommend that you choose one that has a fully disclosed ingredients label, contains sufficiently dosed ingredients, tastes good, and is produced by a trustworthy company.
