Nature's Way Super Reds Review

Nature’s Way Super Reds Review

Nature’s Way Super Reds is a superfood formula containing both fruit, vegetables, prebiotics, and probiotics. The formula is supposed to provide the consumer with a burst of superfood red goodness while supplying energy and increasing vitality.

The formula is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, peanut-free, and sugar-free, so it’s available for a wide range of people, which is great to see, especially for a brand that’s been around for so long!

Nature’s Way has been around for over 75 years and is one of Australia’s most popular supplement brands, so I’m keen to look at this formula more closely and see if it is as good as its reputation seems!

If you’re thinking of purchasing the formula or are keen to take a closer look at such a well-known brand’s formula, check out my full Nature’s Way Super Reds review below.

Nature's Way Super Reds First Impressions

Although I’m keen on the family-friendly feel, the bold and vibrant branding, and the interesting articles on the Nature’s Way website, I have to say that I’m immediately let down by the lack of content on the site.

There’s no ‘about us’, no ‘return policy’, no ‘FAQs’, and very little information about the supplements sold by the brand too.

Looking at the Super Reds formula, in particular, I feel pretty much the same! I’m impressed by the vibrant branding of the product’s tub, but I’m left wanting more information, and that’s an understatement.

There’s hardly any information about the formula, which is a real shame because it just doesn’t make the website visitor want to purchase it!

I’m definitely looking forward to taking a closer look at the formula and really seeing what it’s made of.

Background on Nature's Way

Founded over 75 years ago, Nature's Way is n incredibly popular supplement brand in Australia. In 2000, the brand was purchased by Pharmcare, one of, if not the biggest, Australian pharmaceutical company.

The brand is extremely popular within Australia, and it’s set to take the Chinese market by storm too.

Although the Super Reds formula sold by the brand is a popular supplement, the bestsellers are the multivitamin capsules, immune support gummies, and kids’ health gummies.

Nature's Way Super Reds Benefits

Unfortunately, Nature’s Way isn’t very informative about the Super Red formula’s benefits. In fact, the brand gives pretty much no information about the health benefits that are associated with the formula.

Instead, it just states that the formula is “specially formulated with 23 superfood ingredients as well as pre & probiotics” and that the formula supports vitality and energy.

The ingredients within this formula are potent and as long as they’re sufficiently dosed they will provide a wide range of health benefits, so it does seem a little strange that the brand isn’t vocal about these health benefits.

Nature's Way Super Reds Ingredients

Nature’s Way Super Reds formula contains over 30 ingredients, and although most of them are super reds, there’s a wide range of super greens ingredients within the formula!

Amazingly, the formula has a fully disclosed ingredients label, showing each of the ingredients and the amounts of each ingredient, which is useful when trying to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’m going to be looking more closely at the efficacy of the formula later on in this review. First, let’s take a look at the ingredient list!

Here is the complete list of Nature's Way Super Reds ingredients:

  • Inulin (Chichory Prebioitc) – 3.5g
  • Pea Protein – 2.5g
  • Goji Berry Juice Powder – 600mg
  • Beetroot Juice Powder – 590mg

How does Nature's Way Super Reds Taste?

The Super Reds formula is flavored using natural strawberry flavor, natural vanilla flavor, and sweetened stevia extract.

According to customer reviews, the formula tastes fruity and berry flavored, and there are no negative reviews about the formula!

Side Effects

There are no side effect warnings provided by Nature’s Way about the Super Reds formula, and the brand doesn’t actually specify who should and shouldn’t consume the formula.

I would always recommend anyone that’s pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, with a medical condition, or taking medication, to consult with a doctor before consuming a new supplement.

Does Nature's Way Super Reds Work?

Nature’s Way Super Reds does have a fully disclosed ingredients label, which means that it’s easy to see if the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed. However, it seems as if some of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed!

Some of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed!

For example, there’s only 10mg of spirulina, 10mg of chlorella, and 10mg of wheatgrass within the formula, whereas the daily recommended dose of spirulina is 1-3g, chlorella’s is 2-5g, and wheatgrass’s is 3g.

Therefore, these ingredients are most definitely underdosed, and may not provide the health benefits to the consumer that the brand claims they will.

Although some of the other ingredients that don’t have standard recommended doses may provide health benefits to the consumer, it’s unclear if the entire formula will actually work or not because some of the ingredients are insufficiently dosed.

Nature's Way Super Reds Reviews

Nature’s Way Super Reds formula is available on Amazon (although not currently at the time of writing), and there are 10 customer ratings of the product on there.

There are only four five-star reviews of the product, and although that might sound great, seeing as there’s only a small number of reviews, make sure you take these reviews with a pinch of salt!

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at some of them!

Tastes great in yogurt and makes it much healthier. 5-star reviewer

I use this every day in my breakie smoothie, perfect to mix with any berry smoothies.

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

As far as appears on Nature’s Way website, their brand doesn’t have a money-back guarantee.

If you choose to purchase the Super Reds formula online through Health 365, the company offers a refund if you have purchased the wrong product within 7 days of delivery. Otherwise, there are no refunds or returns.

Where to buy Nature's Way Super Reds?

Nature’s Way, the Australian brand that sells Super Reds, shouldn’t be confused with Nature’s Way USA, the American supplement brand.

You can buy Nature’s Way Super Reds through Health 365 online, and from Chemist Warehouse, Woolworths, Coles, and Priceline in Australia.

Is It Worth The Price?

Nature’s Way Super Reds is sold in tubs that contain 20 servings of formula.

One tub costs $20.69, meaning the cost per serving of the formula works out at $2.70.

This is a high price for a formula that most definitely contains insufficiently dosed ingredients. In my opinion, it’s definitely not worth the price.

However, at least the ingredients label is fully disclosed, which is a bonus.

The Bottom Line

Initially, seeing as I knew about the positive reputation that precedes Nature’s Way, I had high expectations of the formula.

Although the formula does have a fully disclosed ingredients label, tastes good, and contains potent ingredients, the fact that some (if not all) of the formula’s ingredients are insufficiently dosed is a real let down.

The formula is also super expensive for what it is, at $2.70 per serving!

Overall, I personally wouldn’t purchase this formula.

Instead, I would purchase a formula that had sufficiently dosed ingredients, and cost less – there are lots of superfood formulas just like this on the market!
