PaleoValley Supergreens Review: Benefits, Drawbacks, And Comparison

PaleoValley is a super greens formula that contains herbal extracts, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes.

The brand specifically produces paleo-friendly supplements, and the Supergreens formula specifically doesn’t contain grasses, as the brand believes grasses cause inflammation.

PaleoValley Supergreens is also USDA-certified organic, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, and non-GMO.

There aren’t many paleo-friendly specific greens powders on the market, and since this is a popular one, I’m keen to take a closer look at it to see if it can deliver.

If you’re thinking of purchasing PaleoValley Supergreens or want to take a closer look at it to see if it’s effective, check out my full PaleoValley Supergreens review below.

What is PaleoValley Supergreens?

I’m not overly impressed by the design of the PaleoValley Supergreens website – it’s a little basic and not exactly eye-catching. However, the website does contain adequate information about the company and its products.

The PaleoValley Supergreens formula looks promising, but I am a little concerned that there isn’t a great range of super greens ingredients.

There are more herbal ingredients than greens, which seems odd considering it’s called a super greens formula.

I’m excited to take a closer look at the formula to see what it’s made of!

Background on PaleoValley

PaleoValley was founded in 2017 by husband and wife Chas, Autumn Smith, and Chas’s brother, Matthew.

Autumn Smith suffered from digestive issues as a young adult, and research led the couple to try a paleo diet.

Moving to a paleo diet resolved Autumn’s digestive issues, and that’s exactly why the couple’s company now provides fully paleo-friendly supplements!

The Supergreens formula is single-handedly the most popular supplement produced by the company.

PaleoValley Supergreens Benefits

PaleoValley doesn’t actually provide information about the overall benefits of the formula.

Instead, the brand states that the formula will provide the benefits of a typical super greens powder but without the “inflammation” that grasses cause.

However, the brand provides information about the individual ingredients' benefits within the formula.

For example, “Organic Broccoli contains phytochemicals that support healthy joints, immune system health, vision, skin health, blood pressure, blood sugar imbalance, and more”.

PaleoValley Supergreens Ingredients

PaleoValley Supergreens contains 27 main ingredients in total.

Unfortunately, all of these ingredients exist within proprietary blends, which means it’s incredibly difficult to determine the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’ll be taking a closer look into the formula's efficacy later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of PaleoValley Supergreens ingredients:

  • All Organic Superfood Complex – 3,464mg –Kale Leaf, Broccoli Whole Head, Spirulina Algae, Spinach Leaf, Kale Sprout, Cabbage Head, Cauliflower Head, Collard Greens Leaf, Parsley Leaf, Sprouted Broccoli Seed.
  • Organic Antioxidant Complex – 2,536mg –Turmeric Rhizome, Acerola Cherry, Carrot Root, Ginger Rhizome, Lemon Fruit, Strawberry Fruit, Raspberry Fruit, Blueberry Fruit, Beet Root, Tart Cherry Fruit, European Elderberry Fruit, Cranberry Fruit.
  • Isomaltooligosaccharide (IMO) Prebiotic (from non-GMO Vegetable Starch) – 1,210mg
  • Digestive Enzyme Complex – 40mg –Protease, Amylase, Cellulase, Lactase, Lipase.
  • Other Ingredients –Organic flavors, Siraitia grosvenorii Fruit (Monk Fruit Extract), Himalayan Pink Salt.

How does PaleoValley Supergreens Taste?

The PaleoValley Supergreens is flavored “Organic Strawberry Lemonade With A Touch of Mint”.

The formula is naturally flavored and sweetened with stevia extract, one of the best natural sweeteners.

Reviews concerning the taste of the formula are mixed – some people enjoy the taste of the formula, and others think it’s overly sweet and bitty!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the PaleoValley Supergreens formula.

However, I would always suggest consulting a doctor before consumption if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition.

Does PaleoValley Supergreens Work?

Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within the PaleoValley Supergreens formula exist within proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, making it impossible to work out its efficacy indefinitely.

However, we can look at the total amounts of the blends and compare this amount to the combined standard recommended doses of the ingredients within that blend.

The All Organic Superfood Complex totals 3,464mg, and the combined standard recommended dose of the spirulina and broccoli powder is 3,100mg.

Therefore, there is a potential that the ingredients within this formula could be sufficiently dosed. Although, it doesn’t leave much room for the other ingredients to be substantially dosed.

The formula may have the potential to contain some sufficiently dosed ingredients, but not all of them can be sufficiently dosed.

The Organic Antioxidant Complex totals 2,536mg, and the combined standard recommended dose of turmeric, tart cherry extract, and ginger totals 3,000mg.

Therefore, not all of the ingredients within this blend have the potential to be sufficiently dosed.

The other ingredients within this formula do not have standard recommended doses.

The formula may contain some sufficiently dosed ingredients, but not all can be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, not all of the ingredients within the formula may not provide benefits.

PaleoValley Supergreens Reviews

PaleoValley Supergreens is available to buy on Amazon, and therefore, we can take a look at a selection of customer reviews on there!

Generally, looking on Amazon for customer reviews is safer than looking on a brand’s websites for reviews since they are less likely to be biased or manipulated.

There are 225 customer reviews of the formula, with an overall rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews.

I love this! I’ve been looking for a green powder for awhile and this one is perfect for me. I’m never a fan of the taste of any green powder I tried, but I blend it in my smoothies in the morning and don’t notice the taste. I love that they don’t have any grasses or sweetener in the green powder (which is hard to find). This stuff gives me more energy and makes my skin glow with consistent use.5-star review

Lousy tasting.3-star review

For the price these super greens have an off-putting minty flavor. I have tried mixing it with EVERYTHING, I can't seem to shake the taste, it makes me want to puke every time I try to take it.1-star review

Is It Worth The Price?

One pouch of PaleoValley contains 30 servings of formula, and you can buy 1, 3, or 6 pouches. The formula is also available on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option.

So, let’s look at a few of the different price options available!

On a one-time purchase, one pouch of PaleoValley Supergreens costs $59.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.00.

On a one-time purchase, six pouches of the formula cost $287.94, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.60.

On a subscription, one formula pouch costs $56.99, meaning the cost per serving works out to $1.90.

On a subscription, six pouches of the formula cost $273.54, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.52.

Although certain ingredients within this formula do have the potential to be sufficiently dosed, the formula is overly priced, in my opinion, since it doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label and doesn’t contain a wide range of potent greens.

PaleoValley Supergreens Verdict

Overall, I think the PaleoValley Supergreens formula is great in several ways – it’s USDA-certified organic, gluten-free, packed with herbal extracts, and suitable for a wide range of people.

However, I’m not keen on the fact that the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, and it’s clear that not all of the ingredients have the potential to be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula’s ingredients may not actually be effective in how the formula claims they will. The formula is also fairly expensive compared to other formulas on the market!

Although the PaleoValley Supergreens formula might be beneficial, I recommend purchasing a formula with a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely containing sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Overall, I would look elsewhere if you’re looking for a powerful greens formula.
