My Enso Superfood review

Enso Supergreens Review: Benefits, Drawbacks, And Comparison

Enso Supergreens is a powdered super greens formula that also contains probiotics, prebiotics, and herbal extracts. The formula is supposed to improve digestion, boost immunity, support longevity, and more.

Enso Supergreens is suitable for a variety of people – it’s USDA certified organic, dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan. It’s also made in California.

Enso Superfoods is a relatively new supplement company on the market, but it’s growing rapidly, so I’m keen to take a closer look at the Enso Supergreens formula to see if it really can provide the benefits the brand claims it will.

If you’re thinking of purchasing Enso Supergreens, or you also want to take a closer look at it to see if it’s effective, check out my full Enso Supergreens review below.

Did Enso Supergreens make it into my best greens powders I recommend?

What is Enso Supergreens?

My first impression of the Enso Superfoods website is extremely positive – I really like the brightness, the visuals, and the overall clean look of the site.

Although there are not tonnes of informative content on the site, the brand does provide a sufficient amount of information, both about superfoods in general, and the specific products it produces.

Looking at the Enso Supergreens formula, again, I like the clean, simple, smart branding.

However, I am a little concerned by the fact that the ingredients label is not fully disclosed – it’s going to be interesting to see whether the formula really is effective or not.

Background on Enso Superfoods

Enso Superfoods was founded in March 2020 by brothers, Andrew Beltran and Ryan Beltran.

The brothers are also founders of Original Grain, a watch company based in San Diego, but decided to dive headfirst into the world of supplements at the beginning of 2020.

The Enso Supergreens formula is the best-selling formula that the brand sells, but they also produce a Vitaly and a Recharge formula.

Enso Supergreens Benefits

Enso Supergreens is supposed to improve digestion, boost immunity, and support longevity.

Although the formula as a whole doesn’t have a long list of benefits associated with the greens powder, the brand also provides information about the benefits of certain ingredients within the formula.

For example, “Chlorella is rich in Vitamins A, B, C, Iron and Folic Acid that stimulates the immune system, blood pressure, cholesterol, detox and digestion”.

Enso Supergreens Ingredients

Enso Supergreens contains 25 ingredients in total.

Unfortunately, all of these ingredients exist within a proprietary blend, meaning the ingredients label is not fully disclosed and it’s unclear how much of each ingredient actually resides within the formula.

However, I’ll be taking a much closer look into the efficacy of the formula later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of Enso Supergreens ingredients:

  • Art of Enso Supergreens Blend – 10,758mg –Spirulina Powder, Chlorella Powder, Whole Leaf Wheat Grass, Nettle Leaf Powder, Burdock Root, Alfalfa Leaf, Whole Leaf Barley Grass, Barley Grass Juice Powder, Broccoli Powder, Nopal Cactus Powder, Dandelion Leaf, Kale Powder, Oat Grass Juice Powder, Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder, Probiotic Complex (Lactobacillus Adidophilus, Lactobacillus Casei, Bifidobacterium Bifidum, Bifidobacterium Lactis), Enzyme Complex (Papin, Bromelain, Vegetarian Pepsin), Kelp Powder, Dulse Powder, Ginger Root, Organic Peppermint Oil.

How does Enso Supergreens Taste?

The Enso Supergreens formula doesn’t contain any sweeteners, but it does contain peppermint oil to give it a minty flavor, similar to other greens like Supergreen Tonik.

Since this is the only flavoring ingredient within the formula, the formula likely has a potent taste, due to the fact that it’s packed with super greens and herbal ingredients. For some, this may be enjoyable, but for others, it might be a little too natural tasting!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Enso Supergreens formula.

However, since the formula provides a range of potent ingredients, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Enso Supergreens Work?

Since the Enso Supergreens formula doesn’t actually tell you everything that's inside their formula. This is because all of the ingredients exist within one large proprietary blend, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient actually resides in the formula.

Therefore, it’s very difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula.

The only thing we can do is take a look at the overall amount of the proprietary blend and compare this to the combined amount of the ingredients within the formula that have standard recommended doses.

Although the formula may have the ability to be effective, it’s still unclear whether it will be, since the ingredients label is not fully disclosed.

The blend totals 10,758mg.

The combined recommended dose of spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, matcha powder, nettle leaf, and ginger root (all of the ingredients with the standard recommended doses), totals 8.9g.

Therefore, it does seem as though the formula does have the ability to provide sufficiently dosed amounts of these ingredients.

However, since this has not been fully confirmed by the brand, and since it’s unclear the amounts of the other ingredients within the formula, this can’t be confirmed to be true.

Overall, although the formula may have the ability to be effective, it’s still unclear whether it will be.

Dosages are key

Most greens powders, including Enso Supergreens, do not tell you the individual ingredient dosages and so could under dose on the key ingredients.

That's a big issue if you're looking for a greens supplement that actually works as marketed.

You may think that some ingredients, no matter what the dose, is better than nothing. Somewhat true, but then for just a few dollars more you can get a supplement that actually delivers.

For example, I compared Enso supergreens vs Supergreen Tonik (my product) in this post.

Enso Supergreens Reviews

I typically take a look on Amazon for a selection of unbiased, honest customer reviews of the supplements I review.

However, since Enso Supergreens is not available on Amazon, I have to take a look at the reviews on the Enso Superfood website of this supplement!

Obviously, it’s important to note that since these reviews are on the brand’s own website, and therefore, they do have the potential to be biased.

There are 18 customer reviews of the formula, with an overall rating of 4.9 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews.

I always added spirulina and other supplements into my breakfast smoothies and I am glad I came across Supergreens that offer me all I needed in one. They are upfront about all of their ingredients and certifications. I will definitely keep buying, great product!5-star review

I’ve been mixing the greens in smoothies because I like that taste better.
4-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Enso Superfoods offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all of its products.

Where to buy Enso Supergreens?

You can buy Enso Supergreens from the Enso Superfoods website.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Enso Supergreens contains 22 servings of formula, and you can either buy the formula on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of Enso Supergreens costs $49.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.27.

On a subscription, one tub of Enso Supergreens costs $39.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.82.

Unfortunately, I don’t think this formula is worth the price that it’s sold at, even though it may contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, simply because it’s expensive in comparison to other super greens formulas out there, and it doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label.

Overall, I don’t think the Enso Supergreens formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.

Enso Supergreens Verdict

Overall, I think Enso Superfoods, as a brand, and the Enso Supergreens formula, in particular, have the potential to be okay greens powder.

I have two issues with the Enso Supergreens formula that would stop me from buying it.

Firstly, although the formula does have the potential to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label and therefore its efficacy can’t be confirmed.

Secondly, in comparison to other super greens formulas on the market that do have fully disclosed ingredients labels and do contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, it’s fairly expensive.

Therefore, overall, if you’re looking for a powerful greens formula that is definitely going to provide you with sufficiently dosed ingredients and therefore health benefits, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

  1. Can’t think of a better way to review your review other than bull shit. Do you really make a living do this? There’s no substance to your review at all!! I purchased the product and did not have a good experience and I’ma for Heath conscience male. They’re impossible to contact and absolutely do not honor their refund policy until threatened with a legal position…false advertising and pursue rights to distribute… policy reads returning product for a refund but support email says they don’t accept refunds… not sure if you have an affiliate relationship.. wouldn’t be surprised… they’re website has pop ups of who’s buying at that moment.. should have stopped there…. Just another scam unregulated supplement company.. and you perpetuating the illusion!

    1. Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your comments but I should highlight that I am actually not recommending Enso Greens. You can see I gave a rating of 2.5 out of 5 and in the conclusion for reasons of ingredient transparency and dosages I would look elsewhere.
Reading about your experience with customer support and the refusal to refund is concerning.
To confirm, we are not affiliates of Enso.
