Perfect Keto Greens review

Perfect Keto Greens Review

Perfect Keto Greens, by Perfect Keto, is a super greens powder containing over 40 ingredients. The formula contains medium-chain triglycerides, which reduce cholesterol levels and increase muscle mass, giving this formula an edge on the super greens market.

Featuring an abundance of potent ingredients, the formula provides the consumer with a wide range of health benefits, from probiotics supporting the digestive system to antioxidant-rich extracts pushing toxins from the body.

As keto diets are becoming more popular, I’m keen to take a closer look at this keto greens supplement and see if it really delivers – let’s take a look at my full Perfect Keto Greens review below.

Perfect Keto Greens First Impressions

Although I don’t have a keto diet, I immediately see the attraction to this brand, and this product in particular, for people that do stick to a keto diet. Although keto diets are becoming much more popular, there are still insufficient keto products, especially when it comes to the supplement world, so this brand really is targeting a good market.

My first impression of the formula is good and everything from the tub packaging to the website is sleek, sophisticated, and simple, which is effective. I appreciate that the website has a ‘Learn’ section which contains a vast amount of knowledge of keto diets, and even has a keto macro calculator!

The only issue I have, at first glance, is that the brand doesn’t claim any benefits provided by the Perfect Keto Greens formula.

I assume what’s happened is that the brand believes their customers have the knowledge of benefits they will derive from each ingredient listed, or they will go and research the benefits if they don’t know.

Personally, I just don’t think this is good enough and the brand should market the benefits of this formula.

Background on Perfect Keto

Founded in 2016 by Dr. Anthony Gustin, Perfect Keto is a Texas-based supplement brand. As the name suggests, the brand only produces supplements that are suitable for people on keto diets.

Dr. Gustin started the company after realizing the lack of keto-friendly supplements that were made from real food.

As well as the Perfect Keto Greens formula, the brand produces an array of keto supplements, from collagen and protein to MCT oil and electrolyte formula. The brand has even branched out and now produces snack bars, cookies, and coffee.

Perfect Keto Greens Ingredients

Like every Perfect Keto product, this formula is gluten-free, soy-free, sugar-free, non-GMO, and suitable for those on a keto diet. Although the brand doesn’t market the formula as being vegan or vegetarian friendly, none of the ingredients would suggest that it isn’t.

The recommended serving size of Perfect Keto Greens is 12g – this is a generous serving size which either indicates the formula is packed with the correct amount of every ingredient, hence it’s such a large amount, or the formula has been packed with a large number of ingredients that are being used as fillers.

I am hoping it's NOT the latter!

Let’s take a look at the ingredients list and find out!

  • Selenium (18mcg), Chromium (130mcg), Molybdenum (19mcg)
  • MCT (5,250mg)
  • Greens Balance Alkalizing Blend (4,000mg) – Alfalfa Grass Powder, Wheatgrass Powder, Barley Grass Powder, Lemon Juice Powder, Gotu Kola Powder, Kale Powder, Astragalus Powder, Spirulina Powder, Bitter Melon Powder, Oat Grass Powder, Chlorella Powder.
  • Antioxidant Blend (Betta Berries) (500mg) – Acai, Acerola, Amla, Jabuticaba, Cranberry, Goji, Mangosteen, Maqui Berry, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Schisandra Berry.
  • Bromelain (150mg), L- Cysteine N-Acetyl (150mg), DigeSEB Enzyme Blend (150mg), Milk Thistle Seed Extract (150mg), Alpha Lipoic Acid (100mg), Gotu Kola Whole Herb Extract (100mg), Inositol (100mg), Reishi Mushroom Fruit Powder (33mg), Hibiscus Flower Extract (25mg).
  • Other Ingredients: Acacia Fiber, Natural Lemon Flavour, Citric Acid, Stevia Leaf Extract.

Although the brand has shown the exact amount of nearly every ingredient, it seems a shame that they decided to go with two blends to take up the majority of the formula.

It also makes me question whether the formula will actually work at all.

How does Perfect Keto Greens Taste?

Perfect Keto Greens is lemon-flavored, and although some people like the taste and think it’s sweet like cereal, a lot of customer reviews state that the formula tastes like vomit.

Although this obviously depends on your taste buds, it’s not the easiest formula to mix in with other things to mask the taste and therefore you’re probably either going to love it or hate it.

Personally, from all the lemon-flavored greens powders I have tried, I have never enjoyed the taste (I am looking at you here, ONNIT EGN!).

Side Effects

There are no side effect warnings on the Perfect Keto Greens, and you shouldn’t experience any adverse effects when consuming this formula.

As with any supplement if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication, consult your doctor before consumption.

Does Perfect Keto Greens Work?

There are a lot of ingredients within this formula, and although some may work and may meet the daily recommended dosage, others may not.

The main problem I have with this formula is the fact proprietary blends have been used to incorporate fruit and vegetables. This is a problem because as the consumer, we will never know how much of each ingredient is actually included in the blend, never mind the formula as a whole.

It seems very concerning that the amount of MCTs within the formula is 750mg more than the Greens Blend and the Antioxidant Blend combined. In fact, MCTs make up the majority of the formula.

So, you will most likely benefit from reduced cholesterol and increased muscle mass, but they may not benefit from any of the fruits and vegetables in the mix, even though they might assume that’s where the benefits are coming from.

Looking at the formula as a whole, it just can’t be said whether it will work or not, but the brand actually never said it provided any health benefits anyway, so they don’t have to live up to any claims…maybe that was the entire point!

Perfect Keto Greens Reviews

The Perfect Keto Greens formula on Amazon gets an overall rating of 3.7 stars out of 5 stars, with 371 reviews. This isn’t a great overall rating, so it’ll be interesting to see what the negative reviews zone in on.

Let’s take a look selection of the reviews:

I'm very happy with my purchase. I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis and the high amounts of fiber in greens like spinach and kale cause major gi distress. So I was missing vital vitamins from these greens. Thanks to the greens supplement I am not longer deficient in these vitamins and no gi distress. I wish I wouldn't have taken so long to order. Taste-wise eh it isn't the best. But really no greens supplements are honestly. I mix my scoop with a small amount of water and use my milk frother to blend and chug it like an oversized shot. The benefits I'm now getting are far worth the short unpleasant taste.5-star review

Please believe the reviewers that say this stuff tastes like throwup. I didn't and boy was I shocked when this stuff actually tasted like throw up. It also smells like throw up too. First I tried it with vanilla almond milk and made sure it was ice cold, next I added to my hot tea and I added extra fresh squeezed lemon juice and drank it out of a hot tea thermos so I didn't have to see it or smell it. It also turns my you know what green as well. For now, I'm sticking it out hoping the health benefits out way the throw up taste/smell. But unfortunately, I'm still on the hunt for a better-tasting green drink.2-star review

I was so excited to try this and when it came to my home I opened it up right away. I mixed it with a tall glass of water, took a sip, and then immediately went to the sink to spit it out. I'm not sure what everyone else was talking about that loves this product – maybe all the hype made me think it was going to taste amazing. I can't drink it. I have tried using more water or juice but even when it is super diluted, I still can't help but gag. I wish I liked it even a little bit more because right now it is going to go to waste.1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Perfect Keto provides refunds or replacements for any of the products, as long as it’s within 30 days from the purchase that you request a refund and send the product back.

Where to buy Perfect Keto Greens?

You can purchase Perfect Keto Greens from the Perfect Keto website, or on Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

Unlike other supplement brands, Perfect Keto doesn’t offer a selection of prices for this product. However, if you subscribe and put your phone number into the pop-up box on the website, you can receive 15% off. In addition, if you spend over $80 you qualify for a free gift, although it’s not specified what you get!

One tub of Perfect Keto Greens costs $46.99, and the cost per serving works out at $2.35 as there are only 20 servings per tub.

Perfect Keto gives free shipping to anyone in the USA if they spend over $29, which is a really nice touch as brands typically only do this if you spend over $100. For international shipping, the cost depends on where you are in the world.

Although the brand offers free shipping, I think that for a product containing proprietary blends this is quite an expensive cost per serving.

My Verdict

Although at first glance everything about the product looked great, as soon as I started to dig a little deeper and look at the ingredients list, the taste, and the price, I realized that it’s not as good as it seems.

The brand seems very forward-thinking, and I wanted the product to be as great as the brand appears, but unfortunately, I have to say that I am not a fan of this formula.

I dislike proprietary blends and especially when a tub is not a complete 30-days supply!

I know for a fact you can find super greens formulas that taste great and with no proprietary blends insight that is cheaper and more beneficial than this one.
