Outlive 100 review

Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 Review

Outlive 100 is a new superfoods formula produced by popular sports nutrition brand, Kaged Muscle.

The formula contains super greens, fruits, adaptogens, herbal extracts, prebiotics, and the brand claims the blend is supposed to help manage stress, boost digestion, support the digestive system, and more.

The formula is also suitable for a wide range of people because it’s vegan, dairy-free, non-GMO, contains organic ingredients (although not certified organic!), Informed-Sport certified, and third-party tested.

I’m really keen to take a closer look at the Outlive 100 formula to see it really is as great as both the company and the company’s customers make it out to be.

If you’re thinking of purchasing this formula or you’re also intrigued to take a closer look at it, check out my full Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 review below.

Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 First Impressions

As soon as you click onto the Kaged Muscle website, it’s obvious that the brand is all about bodybuilding – all of the photos are of incredibly muscly people, the branding seems aggressive and eye-catching, and the blog content is all about gaining muscle, eating well, and getting lean.

The Outlive 100 formula looks impressive. There’s a range of informative content about the product, the branding looks clean, and the wide range of ingredients looks like they make a potent mix.

I’m looking forward to taking a closer look at this formula!

Background on Kaged Muscle

Kaged Muscle, created in 2014 by Michael McClane, is a US-based premium sports nutrition brand. The brand produces high-quality products that have fully disclosed ingredients labels, for maximum transparency.

All of the brand’s formulas are Informed-Sport certified and third-party tested, with some products being vegan and organic too!

Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 Benefits

Kaged Muscle doesn’t actually provide a lot of information about the benefits associated with the Outlive 100 formula.

However, the brand does state that the formula is supposed to boost vitality and wellness, help to manage stress, boost digestion, and support the digestive system.

The brand has also provided information about the benefits of certain ingredients – apple cider vinegar, ashwagandha, and the two prebiotics in the formula. For example, “ACV has been shown in preliminary research to impact weight loss and overall metabolism”.

Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 Ingredients

Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 contains 26 ingredients, all of which are fully disclosed on a transparent ingredients label – this is great news and definitely helps when trying to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’ll be taking a look at the efficacy of the formula in much more detail later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

How does Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 Taste?

Outlive 100 is available in either Berry or Apple Cinnamon flavor. The brand doesn’t supply any information about how the formulas are flavored apart from claiming that the formula is “naturally flavored”.

Customer reviews about the taste of the formula are mixed – some people like the sweetness and think it covers the natural taste of the ingredients well, whilst others think it’s bitter and artificial tasting.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Outlive 100 formula. However, since it contains potent ingredients and adaptogens, I would advise anyone who is breastfeeding, pregnant, under 18, taking medication, or with a medical condition to consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 Work?

The Outlive 100 ingredients label is fully disclosed, meaning it’s clear not only which ingredients exist within the formula but also how much of each ingredient exists! This is great news since you should always choose a formula with a fully disclosed label.

So, I’m really happy that we can see the amounts of all of the ingredients.

Since it’s clear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, we can work out the efficacy of these ingredients by checking the amounts against their recommended doses.

Although not all of the ingredients have standard recommended doses, we can simply look at those that do to come up with an assumption of whether the formula will be effective or not! So, let’s take a look.

There is 1250mg of wheatgrass within the formula, of which the standard recommended dose is 3g. Therefore, this is insufficiently dosed.

There’s 500mg of chlorella, which has a standard recommended dose of 2-5g, therefore this is insufficiently dosed too!

A large majority of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed.

There’s 500mg of ashwagandha, which has a standard recommended dose of 500-600mg, therefore this is just short of being sufficiently dosed.

However, some ingredients are sufficiently dosed! For example, there is 1000mg of wheatgrass within the formula, of which the standard recommended dose is 1-3g, so this is sufficiently dosed!

It’s clear that the majority of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed, which means that these ingredients may not provide the benefits that the brand claims they will.

However, some of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed and therefore will provide benefits!

Overall, certain ingredients within the formula may be sufficiently dosed and therefore provide benefits, but a large majority of the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed, and therefore it may be as effective as the brand claims!

Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 Reviews

Although there are reviews of Outlive 100 on the Kaged Muscle website, the formula is also available on Amazon and therefore we can take a look on there to see a selection of customer reviews that are truly unbiased and honest.

On Amazon, the formula has just under 400 customer reviews and scores an overall star rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews!

This is the BEST Greens Powder! Love the Apple Cinnamon flavor! I no longer dread drinking greens everyday. The main reason I purchased this is because they list all ingredients and details, and it is organic! 5-star review

I purchased the berry flavored but it reminds me more of a honeysuckle. I think I would prefer it in a smoothie especially with a smoothie that was more bitter then sweet. It does not make me rush to drink it but the flavor is not bad. The scooper inside is a little to large to add to a bottled water unless your that skillful. 3-star review

I will never use this brand again PERIOD! About two hours after taking this supplement I began vomiting violently and ended up in bed for two days with what I can only assume is food poisoning. I am a healthy person, workout 6 days a week and all food is meal prepped. None of the prepped food had caused an issue and as this was the only newly added supplement I am assuming this was the culprit. Buyer beware. 1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Kaged Muscle offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for all of its products – if you’re not happy with your product, you can return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.

Where to buy Kaged Muscle Outlive 100?

You can buy the formula from the Kaged Muscle website from Amazon.

SHOP KAGED MUSCLE

Is It Worth The Price?

Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 is sold in tubs that contain 30 servings of formula. You can either buy the formula as a one-off purchase or you can subscribe to it and receive a 10% discount.

One tub of Outlive 100 costs $39.99 on a one-time purchase, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.33.

One tub of Outlive 100 costs $35.99 on a one-time purchase, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.20.

Seeing as the serving size is so large and the ingredients label is fully disclosed, I think this is a fair price for the formula.

However, I’m still unsure whether I would say it’s 100% worth this price seeing as some of the ingredients within the formula are definitely not sufficiently dosed.

Outlive 100: My Final Verdict

The Kaged Muscle Outlive 100 formula seems a pretty standard formula – I wouldn’t be running out to get this formula, but I also don’t think it’s the worst formula out there!

I like the fact that the formula has a fully disclosed ingredients label and the ingredients within the formula are potent, as well as the fact that Kaged Muscle seems to be an honest, transparent brand.

However, there are also things I don’t like about the formula, the main one being that not all of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed!

The flavor of the formula and the lack of information about the benefits of the formula are also not great!

Overall, if you are looking for a formula that is definitely going to provide you with benefits, I would recommend choosing a different superfood formula that definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients!
