pHresh Greens review

pHresh Greens Review

Struggle to get fresh veggies in your diet every day? Then pHresh Greens could be the superfood supplement for you.

pHresh Greens is an alkalizing super greens formula containing 16 raw, potent ingredients, including a selection of super greens, grasses, and algae. pHresh claims that the formula will provide the consumer with a multitude of health benefits, from weight loss to detoxification.

With a mission to create only the most natural products that are available to a wide range of people regardless of dietary requirements, pHresh has made sure this formula is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, non-GMO, sugar-free, nut-free, and preservative-free. Even the tub that the formula comes in is BPA free.

Seeing as pHresh has its 10-year anniversary this year and I’ve always been intrigued by this greens formula, I’ve decided to take a closer look at it and see if it really lives up to its success. If you’re also keen to take a closer look at this formula, check out my full pHresh Greens review below.

pHresh Greens First Impressions

The first impression I have looking at the pHresh Products website is that it looks outdated. The brand was created 10 years ago, and honestly, it seems like the website hasn’t been updated since then! The website is incredibly informative, but the design of it just doesn’t compete with more contemporary brands.

Although the website doesn’t really entice me, the Greens formula itself looks pretty impressive at first glance.

What impresses me about the formula isn’t the tub branding though, it’s the vast amount of information about it. There’s an array of information about everything from the formula’s benefits to the reasons why the formula is a high-quality product.

What impresses me the most is the fact the brand has made a commitment to being transparent and providing a full disclosure label of ingredients – if you’re a constant reader of my super greens reviews, you’ll know that this is a big deal to me!

Background on pHresh Products

pHresh products are a brand of the Personal Health Product Development company that was founded in 2010 by Howard Hoffman. The other brands under this company are pHresh Superfoods and Dream Nutrition.

As well as producing high-quality health and wellbeing supplements, the company also commits to giving back to the world. Through a partnership with Gift Of Life International, the company has provided medical services for some of the most in need in the world, especially children that suffer from heart defects.

Overall, Howard Hoffman and the company itself are an inspiration and it’s incredibly refreshing to see such a successful company give back to the world.

pHresh Greens Benefits

pHresh Products claims that the pHresh Greens formula will not only provide 3-4 servings of raw greens in one scoop, but it will also aid with weight loss, help to alkalize the body, reduce inflammation, boost the immune system, aid with proper digestion, help the blood carry more oxygen to organs, increase the quality of the skin and push toxins from the body.

This is an extensive list of claims so I’m hoping that when I take a look at the ingredients, I can see that they will actually provide these benefits.

pHresh Greens Ingredients

The pHresh Greens formula contains 16 raw ingredients, including super greens, grasses, and algae. All of the ingredients within the formula are labeled as being organic, although the formula itself is not USDA certified organic.

The brand is extremely transparent with the ingredients within the formula and prides itself on providing a full disclosure label to the consumer – this really is like music to my ears and I have a newfound respect for the brand.

pHresh show the exact amount of every ingredient that’s included within the formula, and in a time of proprietary blends, this is impressive and shows that the brand not only wants to be transparent with its customers but that the team that created the formula really know what they’re doing.

So, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the pHresh Greens formula.

How does pHresh Greens Taste?

The pHresh Greens formula has no flavoring ingredients or even any natural sweeteners, so obviously it tastes very natural and it does have that classic super greens ‘grassy’ taste.

The formula doesn’t taste overpowering and it’s easily disguisable if you add it to a smoothie, juice, or shake.

Side Effects

You shouldn’t experience any side effects when consuming this formula. However, there are warning labels on the tub stating that if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding you should consult a doctor before consumption.

The only thing I would add to this is that if you’re on any type of medication, you should also consult a doctor before consumption.

Does pHresh Greens Work?

I really appreciate the fact that pHresh has committed to providing the consumer with a fully disclosed list of ingredients, including the amounts of each ingredient. Due to this, we can take a closer look and see if the formula actually provides the consumer with the right amount of each ingredient for the benefits to occur.

Although the brand’s recommended serving size is 5g, it also says to take 3 servings daily for maximum alkalizing results. When looking at the ingredients in one serving, there the amounts aren’t enough to actually meet the daily recommended requirements.

When looking at the ingredients in one serving, there the amounts aren’t enough to actually meet the daily recommended requirements.

As I’m always using Spirulina as an example, I may as well use it with this formula too! For example, the daily recommended dosage of Spirulina is between 1-3g (Heathline), and in a 5g serving there’s only 445mg and therefore it doesn’t reach the recommended amount.

However, if you consume 3 servings, you would be consuming 1,335mg (1.35g) of Spirulina, and therefore this reaches the daily recommended dosage and the health benefits from this ingredient would be derived.

Overall, it seems as if the ingredients could provide the consumer with benefits, as long as 2 or more servings are consumed.

pHresh Greens Reviews

Taking a look at Amazon, the pHresh Greens formula has 205 ratings and scores 4.6 stars out of 5 stars, with over 74% of the reviews being 5 stars. Let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews below.

We just love this product!! My husband & I both take it. He never really comments much about a supplement. But after being on it for several days he said I feel amazing. So what are you giving me & I told him it was pHresh greens. His energy was better than it has been in years. It has also stopped my acid reflux. Oh & by the way we are in our late 60's. This is a keeper.5-star review

Has anybody from the Ph greens company actually tried this product? I wonder as its reads on the front label 2 month supply that's totally incorrect this product lasts 30 days tops using a slightly heaped teaspoon, The ingredients are ok but limited in my opinion, and having been a keen greens drinker I would say green vibrance and garden of life present far better value and superior ingredient's.3-star review

Dislike products make me very bloated. I’ve been taken the product for a few weeks now, 2 or 3 times a day & my ph hasn’t changed for the better. Hasn’t change at all.1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

If you return an unopened pHresh product within 7 days of purchase, you will get a full money back refund.

Where to buy pHresh Greens?

You can buy pHresh Greens from the pHresh Products website, from Amazon, and other third-party retailers. You can also find the pHresh products in stores in the USA – you can use the pHresh website store locator tool to find the nearest one to you.

Is It Worth The Price?

On the pHresh website, one tub containing 1 month’s servings (28.5 servings to be exact), costs $39.95. This works out at a cost per serving of $1.40.

This is quite a reasonable cost per serving, but if you’re consuming 3 servings daily, it starts to get pricey.

If you were to consume 3 servings daily as the brand suggests for the ultimate alkalizing effect (15g), the cost per serving would be $4.21. This is a huge difference.

My Final Verdict

Although the website might be a little outdated, I think this is a really great superfood formula from an impressive brand. Every single box of mine is ticked, apart from the price of the formula.

If you are using more than 5g of the formula per day, which I have worked out that you need to in order to ensure you receive the correct amount of each ingredient per day, it’s going to work out incredibly expensive.

That said, I’m not going to let this factor stop me from recommending this formula – I do recommend it.
