Sprigs Super Greens review

Sprigs Super Greens Review

The Sprigs Super Greens formula is a superfood formula containing veggies, fruit, probiotics, digestive enzymes, fiber, and herbal extracts. The formula is supposed to aid with detox, increase energy levels, and provide the essential micronutrients needed for the body to be in a state of constant optimum health.

Although most Sprigs products are marketed towards women and children, this formula is perfect for adults of all ages and genders! It’s also vegetarian, vegan, and non-GMO, meaning it’s suitable for a wider range of people.

I’m really keen to take a closer look at this formula, especially because Sprigs is known for being a family-focused brand, so it’s going to be interesting to see how they’ve made a formula exclusively to benefit the overall health and wellbeing of adults.

Are you thinking about purchasing the Sprigs Super Greens formula? Perhaps you’re an avid Lifehacker guy reader and a keen super greens researcher? Either way, check out my review below for a comprehensive look at Sprigs Super Greens.

Sprigs Super Greens First Impressions

I’m really impressed with the look of Sprigs at an initial glance! The website is beautifully laid out, there’s the right amount of information about products, there’s an informative blog, there are interesting and aesthetically pleasing visuals and the branding is spot on! Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about the brand at an initial glance.

Looking at the Sprigs Super Greens formula, I feel pretty much the same! The branding of the formula is spot-on, there’s a good amount of information about the product, there are pleasing visuals and it’s also great to see that if you purchase this product, a portion of the proceeds goes to helping provide clean water around the world.

The only thing I’d say is that I find it a little strange that the brand has decided to do a comparison between the formula and green smoothies and drinks – they’re not in the same category, so obviously they wouldn’t be the same! It would’ve been better to see the brand use another super greens product, or generally speak about super greens products to compare this product against.

Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to taking a closer look at the formula to see if it really is as good as it seems.

Sprigs Super Greens Benefits

Sprigs states that the Super Greens formula as a whole will provide the consumer with over 20 servings of fruit and vegetables, providing them with the essential vitamins and minerals needed for the best level of health every day.

The brand also claims that there are more specific benefits – the formula is supposed to reduce stress, improve mental clarity, support digestion, boost energy levels, boost the immune system, provide satiety, and aid with weight loss.

Sprigs Super Greens Ingredients

Sprigs Super Greens contains 63 ingredients in total, including the natural flavoring ingredients and sweeteners. Although there are potent ingredients within the formula, and a lot of them, all of the ingredients exist within proprietary blends, meaning it’s impossible to know if they’re each sufficiently dosed.

I will be taking a look into the efficacy of the formula later in this review, but it’s definitely worth mentioning now so you understand why the ingredients list looks like it does.

So, let’s take a look at the ingredients in the Sprigs Super Greens formula.

Here is the complete list of Sprigs Super Greens ingredients:

How does Sprigs Super Greens Taste?

Sprigs Super Greens are available in three flavors – Berry Blast, Peach Persuasion, and Tropical Paradise. The formulas are naturally flavored and contain stevia and monk fruit extract as natural sweeteners.

Most of the reviews concerning the taste of the formula are positive, but some people aren’t keen. Personally, I think there are too many flavoring ingredients and sweeteners in the formula, it will be incredibly sweet! I also think it’s a shame that there’s not an unflavored formula for those that like me, enjoy the taste of a potent super greens formula.

Side Effects

The brand doesn’t warn about any potential side effects that the consumer may experience from consuming this formula.

I would say that since the brand hasn’t specified that this formula is suitable for everyone, if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, or on any type of medication, you should refrain from consuming this formula until after you’ve spoken to a medical professional.

Does Sprigs Super Greens Work?

Since the Sprigs Super Greens formula contains proprietary blends, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient resides within the formula. So, it’s unclear whether the ingredients are sufficiently dosed, and if they’re not sufficiently dosed, they won’t provide the benefits that the brand claims.

it’s more than fair to say that not all of the ingredients within the Sprigs Super Greens formula are sufficiently dosed.

Although it’s unclear how much of each ingredient exists in a blend, we can take a look at the ingredients that have standard daily recommended doses and see if the proprietary blend is even big enough for them to be sufficiently dosed.

The Super Greens blend in the formula weighs 2,152mg, and the recommended daily dose of moringa, chlorella, and spirulina combined comes to 5g – and these are only three of the ingredients in a blend containing ten ingredients.

So, it’s more than fair to say that not all of the ingredients within the Sprigs Super Greens formula are sufficiently dosed. Therefore, it’s unclear if the formula will actually work.

Sprigs Super Greens Reviews

Although the Sprigs Super Greens formula is available on Amazon, there’s only 1 customer review on there, so although I will add this and take a look at this, we will have to take a look on the Sprigs website for reviews on this formula.

However, since we are looking on the brand’s website, you need to remember that the brand could’ve deleted negative reviews and only added positive ones, so, take these reviews with a pinch of salt.

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at some of the product reviews.

Tastes like peach candy, super yummy. I have been enjoying this drink for a little over a week now and I feel so good. I am so happy to say I have lost 4lbs since swapping my morning coffee for 1 serving of Daily Super Greens. So glad @alexandrarodriguez_ recommended this, I feel energetic and light.5-star review on Amazon

I love all that the super greens has to offer. I love being able to know I'm giving my body what it needs but I'm picky when it comes to taste and I don't like the taste at all! That being said I think my taste buds will take time to adjust from junk food to healthy needed food. So for right now I'm putting the powder in capsules and taking it that way.4-star review on Sprigs site

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Sprigs offer an empty-bottle guarantee, meaning that even if you finish the product in a tub, if you’re not happy with it, you can send it back to them and they will offer you a refund.

Where to buy Sprigs Super Greens?

You can buy Sprigs Super Greens from the Sprigs website, on Amazon, and on other online third-party supplement retailers such as Nature Warehouse.

Is It Worth The Price?

Sprigs Super Greens formula is sold in tubs containing 30 servings, and one tub costs $39.99. This works out at a cost per serving of $1.33.

You can save 15% if you sign up for a monthly subscription, which would mean that one tub would cost $34.00, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.13.

In relation to other super greens on the market, the subscription price of $1.13 per serving is fairly inexpensive, and the full price cost per serving of $1.33 is average.

So, you might think that this is a good deal! However, since the formula is made up of proprietary blends and most likely contains insufficiently dosed ingredients, it’s not worth this price.

The Bottom Line

My initial impressions of Sprigs was so positive that I was really hoping that this formula would impress me when I took a closer look at it. However, unfortunately, the presence of proprietary blends and underdosed ingredients disappoints me and therefore I can’t recommend this formula.

For a similar price point, you can actually find sufficiently dosed greens formulas that have fully disclosed ingredients labels and will definitely provide you with benefits.

I think Sprigs is a great brand for women and children’s holistic health supplements, but if you’re thinking of buying a super greens formula, my advice would be to buy it from a super greens brand!
