VitalBody Fruit.& Vegetables Review

Vital Fruit & Vegetables (VFV) Review

Vital Fruit & Vegetables is a nutrient-dense, superfood formula by the wellness company, VitalBody. The formula contains over 70 ingredients, including antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables, powerful enzymes, probiotics and prebiotics, and an array of herbs, extracts, and grasses.

The formula is so jam-packed with ingredients that there’s a huge range of impressive health benefits, from increased digestion and boosted immune system to a higher libido and clearer skin!

I’m really keen to take a closer look at this formula, especially because the brand claims that it provides such a long list of health benefits.

Vital Fruit & Vegetables (VFV) First Impressions

Jumping onto the landing page of VitalBody, I immediately feel attracted to the brand – everything is vibrant and has an overall sleek aesthetic. There are only a few products that the brand produces, but I always go for quality over quantity, so that doesn’t put me off.

Checking out the Vital Fruit & Vegetables formula, I still feel good about the formula, but for once, the thing that I don’t actually appreciate is the mass of information.

Normally, I’m always asking for brands to include more product information, but in this product’s case, there’s just so much information that it’s overwhelming.

I think if the brand wants to keep all of this really informative content about the product’s benefits, it just needs to be presented in a more engaging and interactive way.

So overall at an initial glance, I’m not blown away by the formula, but I’m also not disheartened. I’m just ready to check it out in more detail!

Background on VitalBody

VitalBody is a health and wellness supplement brand based in Arizona. The brand was founded in 2016 with the mission statement “Whole Body Wellness System” – aiming to bring full, whole-body wellness to customers.

As well as the Vital Fruit & Vegetables formula, VitalBody also produces other supplements, such as digestive enzyme capsules, vitamin D tablets, and pre/post-workout formula.

Vital Fruit & Vegetables Benefits

VitalBody is incredibly informative when it comes to Vital Fruit & Vegetables health benefits. Rather than giving a brief synopsis of the overall health benefits that the formula provides, the brand has chosen to debut the most impressive ingredients in each blend and explain in-depth health benefits.

For example, the brand has chosen to talk about how the antioxidants in the blend of berries will support cognitive health, protect cells from radical change, boost cardiovascular health, and support skin health.

There’s health benefits information on over 50 individual ingredients within the formula, allowing the consumer to gain a lot of nutritional knowledge!

Vital Fruit & Vegetables Ingredients

There are over 70 ingredients within the Vital Fruit & Vegetables formula, and therefore you better get ready to see a huge list!

This reminded me of several other brands that have a similar number of ingredients like Athletic Greens, Green Vibrance, and Progressive VegeGreens.

As amazing as it is that there’s such a variety of ingredients, I’m really disappointed to see that this formula is made up of proprietary blends.

I’ll touch more on why proprietary blends are such a pain a little later in this review, but first, let’s get into it and take a look at the ingredients.

  • Proprietary pH Balance Blend (4000mg) – Lemon Juice Powder, Organic Wheatgrass Juice Powder, Organic Oat Grass, Organic Spirulina Powder, Organic Chlorella Powder, Organic Barley Grass Juice, Organic Kelp, Organic Alfalfa Juice.
  • Proprietary Digestive Blend (2335mg) – Organic Gum Acacia, Xanthan Gum, Alpha Galactosidase, Amylase, Amylase II, Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV, Protease I, Protease II, Protease III, Peptizyme SP EN, Peptidase, Bromelain, Papain, Lipase, Cellulase, HemiSEB, Lactase, Glucoamylase, Diastase, Invertase, Catalase, Phytase, Xylanase, Bifidobacterium breve, DDS-1, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus brevis, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Lactobacillus paracasei, Bacillus Coagulans, Lactobacillus reuteri, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus salivarius, Bifidobacterium lactis, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus casei (2.5 Billion CFU).
  • Proprietary Phytonutrient Complex (1391mg) – Organic Kale, Broccoli Extract, Pomegranate Juice Powder, Passion Fruit Juice Powder, Orange Juice Powder, Organic Nopal Cactus, Spinach Extract, Kale Extract, Pumpkin Extract, Squash Extract, Sweet Potato Extract, Sunflower Seed Extract, Chlorella Extract, Kelp Extract, Maitake Mushroom Extract, Shiitake Mushroom Extract, Grape Seed Extract, Acai Juice Powder, Acerola Cherry Extract, Blackcurrant, Blackberry Juice Powder, Strawberry Juice Powder, Organic Grape Juice Powder, Pineapple Juice Powder, Organic Banana, Organic Baobab Fruit, Organic Chia Seed, Organic Cocoa, Flax Seed Powder, Organic Agaricus Bisporus mushroom, Wild Blueberry Extract, Strawberry Powder, Cranberry Powder, Wild Bilberry Extract, Elderberry Extract, Raspberry Seed Powder.
  • Proprietary Whole Body Balance and Micro-Nutrient System (530mg) – Licorice Powder (Deglycyrrhizinated), Organic Aloe Vera, Parsley Leaf Powder, Ashwagandha Extract, Curcumin (Turmeric) Extract, Cinnamon Extract, Citrus Bioflavonoids, Organic Ginger Extract, Organic Turmeric Root, Peppermint Leaf Powder, Rose Hips Powder, Hops Flower Powder, Orange Peel Powder, Organic Gartic, Cayenne Fruit Powder, Organic Ceylon Cinnamon, Fennel Seed Powder, Black Pepper Extract, Bacopa Monnieri Extract, Artichoke Leaf Extract.
  • Other Ingredients – Organic and natural non-GMO flavors, non-GMO citric acid (from tapioca), non-GMO stevia.

How does Vital Fruit & Vegetables Taste?

Vital Fruit & Vegetables is Citrus Berry flavored, using organic and natural non-GMO flavors, and sweetened using non-GMO stevia. Due to the flavorings and the stevia extract, the formula should taste more sweet and refreshing than grassy and natural.

Side Effects

Although there aren’t any side effects warnings or allergen warnings on the Vital Fruit & Vegetables formula, Vitalitybody recommends that new users and children start with ½ serving per day for the first week to allow their bodies to get used to all the ingredients.

However, I would also add to this and say that if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, with a medical condition, or on medication, you should consult a doctor before consumption.

In addition, although the brand recommends the formula for children, I would recommend consulting a doctor before consumption for anyone under the age of 18.

Does Vital Fruit & Vegetables Work?

As mentioned above when looking at the ingredients list, the formula is made up of proprietary blends. Proprietary blends make it impossible for the consumer to figure out how much of each ingredient they’re consuming and if the formula will actually work or not.

Using Barley Grass as an example, the daily recommended dosage sits between 3g – 6mg (Source), and seeing as the Barley Grass in this formula sits last (listed by weight) in a proprietary blend of 4,000mg (4g), it’s unlikely the amount the reaches the daily recommended dosage.

…it’s unclear whether all the ingredients in the formula will actually work or not!

However, the only saving grace with this formula is that the amounts of vitamins and minerals within the formula are shown.

So, although it’s impossible to figure out how much of each ingredient you would be consuming if taking this formula, you can figure out if you’re consuming the right amount of vitamins and minerals.

For example, there’s 400mcg of Folate in the formula, and the daily recommended dose of Folate is between 400mg – 800mg.

Overall, it’s unclear whether all the ingredients in the formula will actually work or not! However, at least you can see how much of each vitamin and mineral you’re consuming.

Vital Fruit & Vegetables Reviews

Vital Fruit & Vegetables doesn’t seem to be available to buy anywhere other than the VitalBody website. Therefore, there’s a complete lack of reviews about the product.

In fact, nowhere online can I find any customer reviews about the product. Even on the VitalBody website, where there is a dedicated tab for customer reviews, there aren’t any!

This really doesn’t give me, or any potential customers, a lot of faith in the product and the brand overall, as testimonials really do make a big impression.

Even if a product is the best thing since sliced bread, without reviews that show previous customers actually liked it, it simply won’t be attractive to potential customers.

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

VitalBody doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee, but it does offer refunds on unopened products that are returned within 30 days of purchase.

Where to buy Vital Fruit & Vegetables?

As far as I am aware, at the time of writing this website, you can only buy Vital Fruit & Vegetables from the VitalBody website.

Is It Worth The Price?

Vital Fruits & Vegetables come either in a packet with 30 single-serving packets or in a tub containing 60 servings. As most of the super greens formulas I review contain 30 servings, I’m going to look at the 30 single-serving packets.

30 servings of Vital Fruits & Vegetables costs $79.50, which works out at a cost per serving of $2.65.

In comparison to other super greens formulas on the market, this is quite an expensive cost per serving, especially when the formula is made up of proprietary blends.

VitalBody ships both within the US and internationally, but there are no flat fees, so shipping costs depend on where you are in the world and the weight of the package.

My Final Verdict

I had really high hopes for the Vital Fruit & Vegetables formula at an initial glance.

Unfortunately due to lack of customer reviews, lack of transparency with the ingredients list, and the high cost per serving in comparison to other formulas on the market, I wouldn’t recommend this formula.

I know for a fact that there are other super greens formulas on the market with fully disclosed labels, an array of customer reviews, and with much lower costs per serving.
