Iron Vegan Greens Review

Iron Vegan Greens Review

Iron Vegan Greens (formally named Iron Vegan Superfoods and Greens) contains super greens, fruits, mushrooms, sprouted grains, herbal extracts, and more.

It’s produced by the Iron Vegan brand, under the Canadian company, Jamieson Wellness Inc.

The Iron Vegan Greens formula is supposed to improve energy levels, support digestion, and deliver antioxidants to the consumer.

The formula is also suitable for a wide range of people since it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and “raw”.

In addition, the formula contains organic ingredients, although the entire formula is not certified organic.

The formula contains a selection of powerful ingredients that can provide a variety of benefits. Therefore, I’m definitely keen to take a look at it to see if it really can deliver the benefits associated with it!

If you’re thinking of purchasing the Iron Vegan Greens formula, or you also want to take a closer look at the formula and the pros and cons associated with it, check out my full Iron Vegan Greens review below.

Iron Vegan Greens First Impressions

Looking at the Iron Vegan website, I’m pleased!

There’s a number of informative resources on the website, including a recipe section and blog, the visuals across the site are engaging, and the products look promising.

Focusing on the Iron Vegan Greens formula, everything still looks impressive – the branding is clean and bold, and the ingredients label is disclosed on the product page.

However, there’s not a lot of informative content about the formula – it would’ve been nice to see more.

Iron Vegan Benefits

Although there aren’t a lot of benefits associated with the Iron Vegan Greens, the brand does provide clear information about the benefits of the formula.

The formula is supposed to boost energy levels, support and improve the digestive system, and provide antioxidants to the consumer, therefore pushing toxins from the body.

Iron Vegan Greens Ingredients

The Iron Vegan Greens formula contains over 22 main, individual ingredients. Amazingly, the ingredients label is fully disclosed, meaning it’s clear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This makes it super easy to work out the efficacy of the formula, since we can compare the recommended doses of these ingredients to the amounts of the ingredients within the formula.

However, I’ll be taking a much closer look at the efficacy of the formula later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula.

Here is the complete list of the Iron Vegan Greens ingredients:

  • Ginger Root 4:1 – 75mg
  • Pineapple Fruit Powder – 5mg
  • Papaya Fruit Powder – 5mg

How does Iron Vegan Greens Taste?

Iron Vegan Greens comes in either Unflavored or Pineapple Orange. The Pineapple Orange flavor is naturally flavored and both flavors are sweetened naturally with stevia fruit extract.

Due to the fact that there’s only one customer review of the formula, it’s unclear how the formula tastes.

However, the one review is positive about the taste – it states that the formula has a “great taste”.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Iron Vegan Greens formula. However, the company does provide a number of health warnings.

Iron Vegan states that the formula should not be consumed by anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding or anyone who has a history of systemic lupus erythematosus.

If you have stomach ulcers, bile duct obstruction, you’re undergoing HRT treatment, on birth control, or taking blood thinners, the company states that you should consult a medical professional before consumption.

Does Iron Vegan Greens Work?

Fortunately, the entire Iron Vegan Greens ingredients label is fully disclosed, therefore it’s clear to see how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This means that when we take a look at the ingredients that have standard recommended doses, we can see if they are sufficiently dosed by comparing the amount in the formula to the recommended dose.

So, let’s do just that.

First, let’s take a look at the amount of spirulina within the formula. There is 500mg of spirulina within the formula, but the recommended dose of spirulina sits between 1-3g.

Therefore, the amount within the formula isn’t sufficient.

It’s clear that a number of the ingredients within this formula are not sufficiently dosed.

Looking at chlorella, there’s 250mg of chlorella in the formula and the recommended dose is 2-5g. Therefore, this is also insufficiently dosed.

There’s 150mg of Reishi mushroom extract in the formula, but the recommended dose of reishi is 1.5 grams when in powdered form.

Therefore, once again, this ingredient is not sufficiently dosed.

Finally, looking at the ginger root in the formula, there’s 75mg of ginger and the recommended dose is 1-3g, meaning it’s not sufficiently dosed.

Overall, it’s clear that a number of the ingredients within this formula are not sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the benefits associated with these ingredients may not be provided by consuming the formula.

Iron Vegan Greens Reviews

Unfortunately, although some of Iron Vegan’s products are available on Amazon and other third-party websites, Iron Vegan Greens is not.

Therefore, we cannot take a look at Amazon or other third-party sites for reviews of the product.

Looking at reviews on the Iron Vegan website for the Greens formula, there’s only one review.

So, this is the only review we’re able to look at! Clearly, the formula isn’t too popular just yet.

Great Taste! Love taking Greens from Iron Vegan every morning!5-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Iron Vegan doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee.

If you want to return an Iron Vegan product, you have to do so within 30 days and the product has to be unopened for you to receive store credit.

However, orders placed under subscriptions are not eligible for return.

Where to buy Iron Vegan Greens?

You can buy Iron Vegan Greens from the Iron Vegan website, or potentially from one of the 10,000 retail locations of Jamieson Wellness brands across Canada.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Iron Vegan Greens contains 25 servings. You can either buy the formula on a one-off purchase or on a subscription option.

If you buy Iron Vegan Greens on a one-time purchase, it costs CA $34.99 (approx USD $27.37). This works out at a cost per serving of CA $1.40 (approx USD $1.10).

If you subscribe to receiving the formula on a regular basis, you save 10%.

This means that the formula costs CA $31.49 (approx USD $24.64), working out at a cost per serving of CA $1.26 (approx $0.99).

Although the formula is fairly cheap, I have to say that I don’t think it’s worth the price that it’s sold at due to the fact that it doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

My Final Verdict

Although the Iron Vegan brand seems like a great brand and I’m really keen on the fact that the brand is transparent with the ingredients within the formula, unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this formula.

Although everything about the formula seems impressive (apart from the lack of customer reviews), the fact that it doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients means that the formula may not provide the benefits the brand claims it will.

Therefore, unless you’re set on purchasing this formula, I would recommend that you look for a greens powder that definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.
