The Shake promises customers the ability to fuel their best life — a life replete with higher energy levels, an improved mood, and easier weight loss.
But does the Essentials Nutrition Shake really do all this?

LYFE fuel claims their Essentials Shake is markedly different from other concentrated meal replacements and superfood powders.
From their website, however, it’s not exactly clear what makes the Essential Nutrition Shake different.
LYFE explains that their Shake’s nutritional content is based on Dr. Bruce Ames’ Nutritional Triage Theory, which posits that optimizing your intake of some 40 essential micronutrients will reduce your risk of chronic diseases that western medicine associates with aging.
We know that LYFE fuel goes above and beyond industry quality standards.
All their products, including Essentials Nutrition Shake, are made in an FDA-Registered facility and 3rd-party lab tested for metals, and harmful microbes.
Their products are minimally processed and gently dried in hopes of providing “superior nutrient retention,” too.
The brand even pays close attention to ingredient sourcing.
All this context aside, Essential Nutritional Shake has quite the ingredients list.
Many of its ingredients are present within — you guessed it — proprietary blends:

While Daily Essentials Shake does have quite the selection of nutrients, I’m not impressed by how these nutrients are featured.
Proprietary blends make it virtually impossible to know exactly how much ingredient X or ingredient Y the shake contains.
On the plus side, Daily Essentials Shake does have a very comprehensive nutrition panel.
The panel lists 27+ key vitamins and minerals.

Does Essentials Nutrition Shake really contain all the, well, essentials your body needs to run its best? That depends on how you define essential! At the very least, Essentials Nutrition Shake lacks key trace minerals like boron. And the fact that it’s plant-based means the iron it does contain isn’t all that well absorbed. (Source)
That being said, here are some of the potential health benefits of this shake.

You wouldn’t think so based on these claims. I’m not entirely convinced, however.
Largely because we just can’t know if it contains enough of its active ingredients to make a tangible difference in certain areas.
Does Essentials Nutrition Shake Have Side Effects?
Most customers don’t seem to experience any side effects from Essentials Nutrition Shake.
I’m not so sure that’s a good idea, however.
Each serving of Essentials Nutrition Shake contains over 20 times (that’s 20,000%!) your RDV for vitamin B12.
It’s unlikely anyone needs more B12 than that!
Some research shows that taking too much of one B vitamin can make it difficult for your body to regulate its levels of the others. (Source)

It sure does.
As of August 2022 LYFE’s website features ~130 reviews averaging 4.49 stars each.
A reviewer named Melissa professes their love for Essentials Nutrition Shake over all sorts of other options:

I like the brand and the intent behind Essentials Nutrition Shake.
That being said, the brand could’ve done a better job transitioning from theory to practice.
The brand makes so many health claims while failing to disclose so many ingredient quantities that it’s hard to know what to expect from this product.
We can’t go on Amazon to check out completely unbiased reviews, either.
If you’re looking for a super-comprehensive nutrition product and aren’t afraid to spend the 70 bucks, however, then feel free to give Essential Nutrition Shake a try. You may be one of the customers who love it!
