I have to say; I’m not crazy about Teami at an initial glance. I’ve never been a fan of “detox teas” since they can be incredibly dangerous if used long-term and by those looking for a quick way to lose weight.
So, I’m not crazy about the fact that the brand produces these types of products.
However, looking at the Greens Superfood formula, I feel differently! The formula looks impressive, has an array of potent ingredients, and is suitable for many people.
Hence, I am impressed by the formula at first glance. I’m keen to take a closer look at it and see if it stands apart from the brand's other potentially dangerous and wishy-washy detox teas.

Background on Teami
Teami was founded by Adi Arezzini in 2013. Adrezzini began the company after looking to the natural world to deal with her stomach problems and bloating.
The brand mainly produces teas that help consumers detox, lose weight, and improve their gut health.
However, after creating the basic range of these teas, Teami decided to start producing superfood and herbal extract formulas, as well as skincare products.
The brand has become incredibly popular over the years, using celebrities such as Kylie Jenner and Cardi B to promote their products.
However, at the beginning of 2020, the brand was forced to pay $1 million to the FTC for false advertising claims, who then sent money to the brand’s customers.

Teami actually doesn’t provide a lot of information about the benefits associated with this formula, honing in on the phrase, “overall well-being”, time and time again on the Greens Superfood product page.
Other than improving overall wellbeing, the brand does suggest that it boosts energy levels and supports digestion.

The Teami Greens Superfood formula contains only 16 ingredients in total, all of which exist in proprietary blends. Therefore, since it’s unclear how much of each ingredient actually resides within the formula, it’s hard to work out its efficacy.
However, I will be taking a closer look at the efficacy of the formula later in this review. Let’s first take a look at the formula’s list of ingredients.

How does Teami Greens Superfood Taste?
Teami has chosen not to flavor or sweeten this formula and therefore it has a pungent taste. Although some consumers report in reviews that they don’t mind the taste of the formula and find it easy to cover over, others suggest that they cannot even stand the smell of it.
Side Effects
The formula has a California Prop 65 warning, meaning that it could expose consumers to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Clearly, this is concerning.
In addition, the formula suggests that those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or under 18 shouldn’t consume the formula.
I would also add that anyone with a medical condition shouldn’t consume the formula before consulting a medical professional.
Does Teami Greens Superfood Work?
The Teami Green Superfood formula’s ingredients label is not fully disclosed, since all of the ingredients within the formula exist within proprietary blends.
Therefore, it's unknown how much of each ingredient exists within the formula and whether these ingredients are sufficiently dosed or not.
Although it’s impossible to know for certain whether the ingredients within the formula will be sufficiently dosed and whether it will be effective or not, we can take a look at the blends and the ingredients that have standard recommended doses to come to an informed estimate of what the efficacy of the formula will be.
First, let’s take a look at the Greens Superfood Complex. This blend contains 6.8g and the combined recommended dose of spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, and grape seed extract totals 6.1g.
Therefore, these ingredients within the blend have the potential to be sufficiently dosed!
None of the ingredients within the Superfood Support Blend have standard recommended doses and therefore it’s impossible to come to a conclusion of whether the ingredients within this blend will be sufficiently dosed or not.
Overall, although it can not be said for certain (since the formula is made up of proprietary blends!), it is possible that the formula could contain sufficiently dosed ingredients and therefore it may be effective in the ways that the brand suggests.

My Final Verdict
There are many negatives in my opinion to this formula, since I’m not a huge fan of the Teami brand and the other products it produces, the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed label, and the taste of the formula is nasty.
However, the formula is incredibly cheap and may potentially contain sufficiently dosed ingredients. Therefore, if you are on a low budget, this could be a good formula for you to purchase!
If you do have a slightly more sizable budget, I would suggest that you purchase another super greens formula that has a fully disclosed ingredients formula and contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.
