Ultragreens, produced by The Go Life, is a super greens formula that contains herbal ingredients, grasses, algae, and fruit.
The formula is supposed to help support nutrition, digestion, and immunity.
Ultragreens is dairy-free, vegan, non-GMO, and contains organic ingredients (although it is not USDA certified).
The Go Life is a popular supplement brand, and since the Ultragreens is one of the brand’s most recently created products, I’m keen to take a closer look at it.
If you’re thinking of purchasing Ultragreens, or you also want to know if it's one of my suggested greens powders, check out my full Ultragreens review below.
What is Ultragreens?
The Go Life website looks great – it’s clean, smart, visually pleasing, and bright.
However, there’s a lack of information on the site, especially regarding the products it sells, which is a shame.
The Ultragreens formula itself looks appealing, but it’s already concerning to me that it is made up of proprietary blends.
Additionally, there’s not a lot of information about the benefits of the formula or the ingredients within it.
So, it will be interesting to take a closer look at the formula.

Background on The Go Life
The Go Life was founded in 2017 by athletes Alex Cesaria V. and Adam Greenfeld who wanted to create natural supplements that support performance and everyday life.
The Ultragreens formula is one of the brand's most recently produced formulas, but it is most well-known for its BCAA Energy + Recovery formula.
Ultragreens Benefits
There’s actually pretty much no information about the benefits of the Ultragreens formula on the Ultragreens website.
This is a real shame because it’s completely unclear what the formula is actually going to do.
Overall, the brand claims that the formula is supposed to just support nutrition, digestion, and immunity.
Ultragreens Ingredients
The Ultragreens formula contains a wide range of ingredients.
However, unfortunately, all of them exist within proprietary blends, meaning it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, making it incredibly difficult to work out the formula's efficacy.
Although, I will be taking a closer look at the formula's efficacy later in this review.
First, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula.
- Great Grains Blend – 1.25g –Brown Rice Bran Powder, Organic Flax Seed Powder, Barley Malt Powder.
- Herbal Blend – 1g –Organic Alfalfa Powder (leaf), Parsley Powder (leaf), Bee Pollen Powder, Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) Powder (root), Aloe Vera Powder (leaf), Astragalus Powder (root), Ginkgo Biloba Powder (leaf), Green Tea Powder (root), Licorice Powder (root), Milk Thistle Powder (seed), Peppermint Powder (leaf), Royal Jelly Powder, Schisandra Powder (berry), Stevia Extract Powder (leaf).

Here is the supplement label:
How does Ultragreens Taste?
The Ultragreens formula isn’t flavored but it is sweetened with stevia extract formula, meaning it will be sweet.
There are positive reviews about the taste of the Ultragreens formula. However, all of the reviews about the formula are positive and on the brand’s website – therefore, they may be biased!
Side Effects
There are no side effects associated with Ultragreens.
Although, I would suggest that you consult a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition before you consume the formula.
Does Ultragreens Work?
Unfortunately, the Ultragreens formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, and all of the ingredients exist within proprietary blends.
Therefore, it’s completely unclear how much of each ingredient resides within the formula, making it impossible to determine its efficacy.
However, we can look at the amount of each blend and compare it to the combined recommended dose of the ingredients within the blend to make an estimated conclusion of whether the formula contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.
Looking at the Herbal Blend, it’s clear that the blend cannot contain sufficiently dosed ingredients since the blend totals 1g and the combined recommended dose of ginseng, ginkgo Bilbao, and royal jelly totals 1.34g.
Looking at the Sea Greens blend, it’s clear that this formula also doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients since the blend totals 900mg but the combined recommended dose of just two ingredients, spirulina and chlorella, totals 2g.
The Greens Grass blend also can’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients since the blend totals 700mg, but the recommended dose of wheatgrass alone is 3g.
Overall, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula can be sufficiently dosed.
Ultragreens Reviews
Since the Ultragreens formula is not available on Amazon, which is where I typically look to see unbiased reviews of the supplements I review, I will have to look at the reviews of the formula on The Go Life website.
There are only 5 reviews of the product on The Go Life website, all of which are positive.
Before taking a look at these reviews, it’s important to understand that these reviews do have the potential to be biased since they’re on the brand’s website.
Nonetheless, let’s take a look at these reviews!
Normally super greens supplements lack a good taste but this product does not sacrifice it at all. In addition, it's easily digestible and doesn't bother my stomach. A great product that gives you all of the minerals and nutrients of a super green product that also tastes great and is easy on the digestive system. Highly recommend.5-star review
There are a lot of these on the market but this one was great. I didn't feel bloated and it tasted really good. I've been using it for about a week and I already feel like I am treating my body better.5-star review
Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy
The Go Life doesn’t provide a money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with any of the Go Life products, including the Ultragreens formula, you have to return it unopened within 30 days to qualify for a refund.
Where to buy Ultragreens?
You can buy Ultragreens from The Go Life website.
Is It Worth The Price?
Each tub of Ultragreens contains 24 servings; you can buy the tub on a one-off purchase or on a subscription option.
On a one-off purchase, one tub of Ultragreens costs $24.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.04.
On a subscription, one tub of Ultragreens costs $22.46, meaning the cost per serving works out at $0.94.
Although the formula is reasonably inexpensive, since it doesn’t provide sufficiently dosed ingredients and doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, I don’t think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.
My Final Verdict
Unfortunately, although the formula might look impressive, I wouldn’t recommend it.
This is mostly because the formula doesn’t have a disclosed ingredient label and likely does not contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.
Therefore, the formula might not actually provide benefits – not that the brand has spoken about many anyway!
Therefore, if you’re looking for a super greens powder that is actually going to provide benefits, I would recommend looking elsewhere and choosing one that has a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.
LifeHacker Guy Greens Recommendation
Some Call This An "Extreme" Step...
Most super greens supplements are disappointing.
I learned this the hard way. After creating this blog in 2018, I spent months buying and testing all the most popular brands.
I wasn’t happy with the results so I did something you might call "extreme"....
In 2019 I created my own brand that ticks every single box of what I look for in a super greens product:
- No hidden ingredient amounts - we have full disclosure labelling, so you know EXACTLY whats inside
- Ingredient amounts that make a difference - we include the minimum effective amounts supported by research, and most of the time, MORE
- Ingredients that help immunity, boost mental clarity and shake off brain fog - making for a much more productive and happy lifestyle
No more worrying about ineffective ingredients or too low dosages. I finally have a product I KNOW does the job it’s made to do.
I use it every day and, after years of battling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), I now have my energy (and my life!) back.
The good news? I made my brand available to the public so you can see and feel the difference for yourself.
