Ashwagandha (or Ashwa) Gummies by Goli Nutrition are the newest craze in the supplement world. Goli Nutrition, famous for producing the world’s first Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies, have managed to hype everyone up again by producing a new ashwagandha product.
Goli Nutrition claims that the Ashwa Gummies are the world’s most powerful ashwagandha gummies, with the aim of restoring, relaxing, and de-stressing the body and mind.
The Ashwa Gummies are USDA certified organic, non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, wheat-free, dairy-free, and free from any kind of artificial ingredients. Therefore, suitable for a wide range of Goli Nutrition fans.
Containing KSM-66 Ashwagandha extract, vitamin D, and a handful of other ingredients, I’m keen to take a closer look at these gummies and see if they really pack the punch that the brand claims they do, especially when so many people are rushing to buy them!

Goli Ashwa Gummies First Impressions
The Goli Nutrition website is slick, professional, chock-a-block with information, and modern – everything you want a supplement brand’s website to be. Absolute kudos to the marketing and design team at Goli Nutrition, because it all looks tantalizing and exciting, which is often a difficult ask in the nutrition world.
Although I haven’t been able to try and test the Goli Ashwa Gummies yet, since they’re sold out and were only released a few weeks back, I can’t comment too much on the product arriving with me. However, I have tried and tested the Apple Cider Vinger Gummies from Goli, and I was really impressed with the brand’s packaging on arrival, as well as the look of the gummies themselves!
Looking at the Goli Ashwa Gummies, I imagine that the experience of receiving this supplement would be the same – there’s good quality, good design and it’s exciting!
I have to say, honestly, I really like the Goli Nutrition brand and the Ashwa Gummies on first impressions, so hopefully, when I take a closer look at the product I am just as impressed.
Background on Goli
Founded in 2017, Goli Nutrition is an incredibly popular US-based supplement business. The brand created the world’s first apple cider vinegar gummies in 2019 and pretty much went viral because of that.
The brand then created the Ashwa Gummies that came out at the beginning of January 2021 and seeing as the product is sold out (only three weeks into January), it’s fair to say that the brand’s success has remained.
The brand only produces these two supplements but has a supposed revenue of around $15 million per year.
Goli Ashwa Gummies Benefits
One thing I really appreciate about Goli Nutrition is that the brand’s website supplies information very clearly and concisely. You don’t have to search the website to find the Ashwa Gummies benefits, because they’re right there on the product page in bold!
The brand claims that the Ashwa Gummies will promote calmness and reduce stress, support weight management, improve mood, help promote better sleep, support the immune system, improve physical performance, enhance memory and cognitive function, and improve sexual function.
The brand also supplies a small amount of information about each benefit, which is a nice touch!
For example, “Helps Your Sleep – For centuries, ashwagandha has been recommended for a good night’s sleep – and research backs this up. Studies have shown that KSM-66® ashwagandha can improve sleep efficiency, total sleep time, and sleep quality”.
Goli Ashwa Gummies Ingredients
You might think that the Ashwa gummies don’t have many ingredients, but you’d be wrong! There are actually 13 ingredients in the Ashwa gummies.
Apart from the Ashwagandha (KSM-66 Ashwagandha Root Extract) and Vitamin D2, the amounts of each ingredient aren’t shown, and this reduces the transparency of the brand.
- KSM-66 Ashwagandha Root Extract (150mg) –
- Vitamin D2 (Ergocalciferol) (12.5 mcg) –
- Other Ingredients – Organic Tapioca Syrup, Organic Cane Sugar, Water, Pectin, Natural Flavors, Malic Acid, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Organic Fruit and Vegetable Juice (Color), Organic Sunflower Lecithin.

How do Goli Ashwa Gummies Taste?
I haven’t tasted the Ashwa Gummies myself, seeing as they’ve only just come out. However, they’re packed with natural flavors and sweeteners to make them taste like mixed berries, so they’re bound to be tasty if you’re into sweet things.
One customer (although most likely a brand ambassador since she shares a discount code) on Youtube claims that the gummies taste like “fruit roll-ups”, so they most likely taste pleasant.
Goli Nutrition hasn’t provided any side effect warnings with the Ashwa Gummies. In fact, the brand even states that one gummy per day is suitable for children. I would be very careful if I was providing ashwagandha gummies because although it’s suitable for most people, it can be dangerous for some.
I would strongly suggest that if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, suffering from a medical condition, or under 18 years old, you should consult a doctor before consuming any new supplement.
Do Goli Ashwa Gummies Work?
The difficult thing about trying to work out the efficacy of the Ashwa Gummies is that ashwagandha, the main ingredient, doesn’t actually have a standard recommended dose. Therefore, since there’s no standard recommended dose, any amount of ashwagandha could technically provide benefits.
However, the typical doses of ashwagandha that people take are anywhere between 250mg – 5g. The minimum amount of ashwagandha that’s linked with health benefits is 250mg, but most benefits, including reduced anxiety and stress, are linked with at least 500mg.
Goli Ashwa Gummies contain 150mg, which obviously isn’t between 250mg-5g. However, the recommended directions for taking the gummies are to take 1-2 up to three times a day. Therefore, if you take three gummies a day you will be consuming 450mg, and if you take six gummies a day you will be consuming 900mg, which is much more like it!
In these amounts, ashwagandha should provide health benefits.
My concern with the gummies is that each Ashwa gummy contains 2g of sugar, so if you’re taking three gummies a day you’ll be consuming 6g of sugar, and if you’re taking six a day you’ll be consuming 12g of sugar.
This is a huge amount of sugar for a supplement to contain.
It also makes the gummies unsuitable for those on keto diets.
Overall, yes, the ashwagandha in the gummies may work, but the sheer volume of sugar in the gummies is not a what I would regard a “healthy” supplement.
Goli Ashwa Gummies Reviews
Goli Ashwa Gummies were only launched in the first week of January and the brand has got so many orders on the website that it clearly hasn’t had the need to stock it on Amazon. Therefore, there are no Amazon reviews of this product.
The only reviews of this product out there are the ones on the brand’s website, of which there are four five-star reviews. Of course, these reviews could be produced by the brand or by ambassadors of the brand, and therefore they may be biased.
Nonetheless, they are all we have to look at right now until more customers receive the product and it hopefully goes up for sale on Amazon. So, let’s take a look at these reviews from the Goli Nutrition website below.
They taste so yummy! I really feel this soothing effect when I take them, this will for sure become a staple in my home.5-star review
Since I’ve been a child, I’ve learned to rely on natural extracts and have learned the value of extremely good nutrition- I’m relying on KSM-66 during my extremely demanding travel, school, and athletic life; it’s been a total game-changer.5-star review

Where to buy Goli Ashwa Gummies?
You can only buy Goli Ashwa Gummies from the Goli Nutrition website.
Is It Worth The Price?
Goli Ashwa Gummies are sold in bottles that contain 60 gummies. Currently, at the time of writing this article (Jan 2021), the gummies are sold out, proving their popularity. However, you can pre-order, and the preorder costs are the same as the ordinary costs.
One bottle costs $19.00. This is apparently a one month supply, but the recommended serving supply is slightly confusing!
The recommended serving size is 1 gummy, but the instructions say to consume 1-2 gummies up to three times daily. Therefore, the real recommended amount could be between 3-6 gummies daily. Therefore, the bottle would only contain less than three weeks’ worth of gummies on three a day, or just over a week on 6 per day.
So, the tubs will actually work out a lot more expensive than they initially seem.
The cost per serving for one bottle could be anywhere between $0.95 – $1.90.
Although this isn’t outrageously expensive, I don’t like that the brand isn’t clear about the number of servings you actually get from each bottle.
The Bottom Line
I really like the Goli Nutrition brand, from the branding and web design to the money-back guarantee and the socially responsible donations. I so want to love this product, but unfortunately, I feel let down by it for two main reasons.
The first reason that I feel let down is that there’s so much sugar in these gummies. The high sugar content is not only unhealthy for the consumer, but it also might actually override the health benefits that the ashwagandha would provide.
The second reason is that in my eyes the brand isn’t being completely transparent about the price of the gummies, since the recommended serving size seems like it’s 1 gummy, but then on the back of the bottle, it directs people to take 3-6 per day.
This is a problem because people will buy the gummies thinking they’re cheap, only to find that they’re running out much sooner than expected and left having to buy more.
Overall, I think choosing a good super greens formula is a much better idea, especially considering that some super greens formulas actually contain a sufficient amount of ashwagandha within them (such as SuperGreen TONIK). I also always recommend going for a powder rather than a gummy or capsule supplement.
LifeHacker Guy Greens Recommendation
Please give me a few moments to shamelessly introduce my brand, SuperGreen TONIK.
I have researched a lot (and I mean a lot) of super greens out there but was disappointed with most of the ones I tried.
So, I went out and created my own with the help of a USA manufacturer because I wanted to ensure I got all my veggie goodness in the right amounts, and of course within a no-fuss single serving each day.
None of the other brands offered that.
Its the best out there (of course I would say that about my own), but let me tell you why...
- No hidden ingredient amounts - we have full disclosure labelling, so you know EXACTLY whats inside
- Sufficient ingredient amounts to make a difference - we include at least (if not more of) the minimum effective amounts supported by research
- Ingredients that also could boost mental clarity and shake off brain fog - to boost my at work and home
After many months I finally got a greens formula that fuels my body and mind for the day ahead.
But please dont JUST take my word for it, make up your own decision by checking out my review. (I TRY BE BE AS UNBIASED AS POSSIBLE )
