What Is Noocube?

Noocube is a supplement that is sold as a cognitive support drug that you can take to increase your brain productivity.

Some of the listed benefits of Noocube are:

  • Gain razor-sharp focus
  • Improve your problem-solving skills
  • Boost memory
  • Boost mental alertness
  • Protect your eyes from screen fatigue caused by electronics
  • Reduce brain fog caused by fatigue

They also have science-backed ingredients and an award-winning ingredient called Lutemax.

Background On Noocube

Noocube is a company that creates a scientifically backed nootropic that promotes brain functioning and cognitive health.

Created by a team of German researchers, Noocube was made to get you back to the “life you had” when you were “on the ball”.

According to Noocube, over 77% of Americans suffer from stress that can cause fatigue, a lack of energy, and a lack of sleep.

These cause what they call “overwhelm toxins” which can cause you to suffer from diminished memory and can cause issues with focus.

Noocube was formulated to counteract these effects.

Noocube’s Brain Productivity Supplement combines 13 ingredients that help with:

  • Boosting problem-solving skills
  • Reducing the feeling of being overwhelmed
  • Increasing motivation
  • Improving focus
  • Enhancing memory
  • Lowering stress levels
  • Improving sleep
  • Creating a calmer demeanor
  • Assisting in fostering a better mood

Noocube really strives to use scientific evidence to formulate their supplements so they work for their customers.

Besides this information, there is not much on their website that explains who they are.

Most companies give a summary of how they got started but I couldn’t find this information on Nootropics.

What Ingredients Are Inside Noocube?

Noocube has 13 science-backed ingredients that help assist brain function.

These ingredients include:

1. Lutemax 2020

It is commonly known that carrots assist with your eyesight, but why is that?

That is because the carotenoids in carrots, which is what causes them to be orange, help with eye health.

But that’s not the only thing that carotenoids can help with.

They can also help protect you from disease and enhance your immune system. (Source)

So what is Lutemax 2020?

Lutemax 2020 is a blend of 3 macular carotenoids (which are found in marigold flowers) that can improve attention, memory, brain processing speed, and even the stress response.

2. Bacopa Monnieri 12:1 (20% Bacosides) – 250 mg

A plant that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, Bacopa Monnieri is known to increase certain chemicals that help with thinking, learning, and memory.

Bacopa Monnieri is also believed to protect your brain cells from the chemicals that are involved in causing Alzheimers. (Source)

3. Huperzia Serrata (0.5% Huperzine-A) – 20 mg

Even though there are no scientific evidence, Huperzia Serrata is used to improve memory and mental function in people with Alzheimers and dementia.

People also use it for depression, schizophrenia, and other conditions. (Source)

4. Pterostilbene 140 mcg

Pterostilbene, found in blueberries, is believed to be more powerful than resveratrol when it comes to helping with memory, learning, and protecting the brain. It can also help with preventing cognitive decline.

Pterostilbene can help make overcoming challenges easier.

5. Resveratrol 99% 14.3 mg

Resveratol is an anti-inflammatory that can slow down any age-related cognitive issues as well as protecting brain health to keep your brain functioning at optimal speed.

6. L-Theanine 100 mg

Found in tea, L-Theanine is an antioxidant that can help you lower your stress levels, while helping with concentration, memory, and alertness.

Not only that, but because it assists with lowering stress, L-Theanine can also improve sleep which can also assist with brain functionality.

7. Alpha GPC (Glycerylphosphorylcholine) 50 mg

Alpha GPC contains acetylcholine and was added to boost attention, improve memory, enhance mental clarity, and increase clear-headed focus.

In addition to assisting with your brain function, acetylcholine also supports muscle movement, motivations and even sleep.

8. Oat Straw Extract 10:1

Oat has been used since the middle ages as a way to assist with stress, boosting memory, and concentration.

This is because oats help dilate the circulatory system in the brain which helps to better deliver oxygen and nutrients to your brain cells.

9. Cat’s Claw Concentrated Extract 4:1

Sourced from the Amazon Rainforest, Cat’s Claw is known as a super nutrient.

Cat’s claw can assist with stimulating your immune system, killing cancer cells, and help to fight off viruses.

People commonly use Cat’s Claw for cancer, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, viral infections and other conditions. (Source)

10. Vitamins

Noocube also contains vitamins such as:

  • B1 (1.1 mg)
  • B7 (50 mcg)
  • B12 (2.5 MCG)

All of these vitamins can help assist with brain function and other health benefits.

In addition, Noocube lists all their ingredients and the exact amount of each ingredient contained in the supplement.

This means there are no proprietary blends which is unusual for supplements like this.

My Verdict: Noocube

There are many positives in regards to whether or not Noocube is a good nootropic option for you.

One of the most compelling reason that you would take Noocube is that they are very open with their ingredients list and do not list a “proprietary blend”.

This is very uncommon when it comes to supplements, and is great for those who want to know exactly what they are taking, especially if they take other supplements in tandem with Noocube.

In addition, with a 60 Day Money Back Guarantee, there is no risk to trying it.

However, there are other great options out there that you can look into that might work better for you.

As always, be sure to work with your doctor to decide if a nootropic supplement is right for you.

Performance Lab Mind: Health Benefits

So, how can Performance Lab Mind improve your health or your brain function?

Here are some of the benefits you might obtain when taking the supplement.

Remember that everyone can have a different reaction to any supplement.

  • Boosts energy levels
  • Reduces brain fog
  • Improves focus
  • Improved concentration levels
  • Boosts mood
  • Better memory

Performance Lab Mind: Ingredients

There are only four ingredients in Performance Lab Mind.

Ingredients list:

  • Cognizin® Citicoline (from stabilized cytidine 5′ diphosphocholine)(250 mg)
  • Sharp-PS® Green (Phosphatidylserine)(100 mg)
  • Ajipure® L-Tyrosine (250 mg)
  • Maritime Pine Bark Extract (Pinus pinaster)(75 mg)

I know it sounds complicated, but let me explain in simpler terms what each ingredient can do in the body.

Since it has a short list of ingredients, let’s analyze each one.

But, before we begin, there is one thing I would like to stand out.

I love that the supplement has a clear label.

This means you know what you are getting and how much each ingredient.

Hence, it can help determine if the supplement will be effective.

So, without any further ado, let’s talk about the ingredients in Performance Lab Mind.

The first ingredient in the Mind supplement is Cognizin® citicoline. Citicoline is a natural molecule found in the body.

According to multiple studies, it seems it can help raise the levels of neurotransmitters, protect the brain from age, and increase brain energy. (Source)

Studies have used citicoline in doses between 250 to 1,000 mg. So, it seems that a good dosage would be between this range.

Performance Lab Mind has 250 mg.

While it is still within the range, it is to be noted it is in the lower range.

Moving on to the next ingredient, we have phosphatidylserine.

Phosphatidylserine seems to help reduce memory loss, and it also seems to increase brain energy levels. (Source)

In addition, it seems it can help improve ADHD symptoms. (Source)

The recommended dosage for phosphatidylserine is set at 300 mg. (Source)

However, Performance Lab Mind is below the recommended dosage with only 100 mg per serving, meaning you would need 3 pills to get the correct dosage.

The third ingredient is L-tyrosine.

Tyrosine is an amino acid that has memory-boosting effects.

In a study, people supplemented with L-tyrosine responded quicker to tests and improved cognitive function. (Source)

The recommended dosage for L-tyrosine is between 500 to 2,000 mg daily.

But, Performance Lab Minds only has 250 mg per serving.

This means that you would need to consume 2 pills daily to obtain the full dosage.

The last ingredient in the supplement is pine bark extract.

Evidence suggests that pine bark is a powerful antioxidant that can help reduce inflammation. (Source)

So, it can decrease the negative effects of free radicals on the brain.

And, it seems that it can also improve cognitive function by optimizing brain plasticity. (Source)

Performance Lab Mind Reviews

Currently, there are not too many customer reviews.

However, I did find some comments left on their website.

Here are some of the positive points some people say about the product:

  • Some people report feeling sharper after taking it for a few weeks
  • People reported having more energy and more focus
  • Users reported having improved memory

Not everything is positive, and I applaud the website for keeping those reviews.

There have been times when I find a supplement company only displaying positive reviews, not negative comments.

Here is a summary of the negative aspects people are saying about the product:

  • Some users report having a high price compared to the dosage
  • A couple of users stated it affected their sleep
  • People reported not feeling any difference

Here are some positive comments users left regarding Performance Lab Mind.

One reviewer, Nikki, says:

I was having some trouble “finding the word I was looking for”. It sometimes felt like something got locked in place and my brain was going in circles right around the answer I knew but could not vocalize. Very frustrating!! Both my parents had memory issues, one Alzheimer’s, one dementia. So to try to ward that off and after much research into available supplements, I began taking this product. I love it! Within a few days I saw improvement. Great product in my opinion. I will be taking it from now on.

Another reviewer, Jolene, says:

I've recommended this product to several people. After over a year of using it consistently, it's still working. Just gives me a little “click” in my brain that helps focus and concentration: as advertised. No stimulants, no jitters. I do cycle off a couple of days here and there, as recommended and I notice the difference until I get back on a daily dose of Mind!?

Performance Lab Mind: Pricing

Performance Lab is a slightly costly supplement.

One bottle costs $69.00, meaning you pay $2.30 per serving.

But, there are ways for you to save a couple of bucks.

If you buy in bulk, the price per serving can significantly decrease.

However, you can only get those savings if you purchase 3 bottles.

If you purchase 2 bottles, you still get a serving price of $2.30.

If you purchase 3 bottles, the serving size drops to $1.73 per serving.

The company offers free shipping, but you must purchase more than $250.

Possible Side Effects

As with any supplement, there is always a risk of getting a side effect.

The most likely side effects you might experience are gastrointestinal issues.

After taking Performance Lab Mind, you might experience bloating, gas, stomach cramps, and diarrhea.

However, these symptoms typically go away after a couple of days.

Once your stomach gets used to the ingredients.

But, if you still experience the symptoms, stop taking the supplement and ask your doctor.

side effects on transparent screen

Is Performance Lab Mind Worth Buying?

Performance Lab Mind seems to have some good ingredients to help improve cognitive functions.

But, to be honest, it leaves you wanting more since most of the ingredients are underdosed.

So, no matter if you have good ingredients, if they are not in the correct doses.

And based on the reviews, that is one of the most recurrent problems.

People often don’t see the changes when they start taking the supplement.

Alternatives To Performance Lab Mind

Performance Lab Mind might be a good option for some people.

However, having alternatives is always a good idea.

So, if you want to try other options, here of the best nootropic supplements I recommend.

Now, sometimes you need an all-in-one supplement, meaning you want the brain-boosting benefits with more health benefits.

Some green powder supplements like Bulletproof Greens and Supergreen Tonik contain some nootropics in their mix.

In my experience, Supergreen Tonik offers the best option with the best nootropics available on the market and a 365-day money-back guarantee policy.

Not only does it contain nootropics, but it also offers organic green powders and immune-boosting ingredients.

So, you get everything in a delicious-tasting beverage in either mint or berry flavor.

Performance Lab Mind Review: Closing Thoughts

Performance Lab Mind can potentially improve brain function.

It has high-quality ingredients that, for some people, might bring health benefits.

However, most ingredients are underdosed, meaning they might not be as effective as they claim to be.

In this case, other alternatives might also improve brain function while bringing other health benefits.

Such is the case of Supergreen Tonik, there are different nootropic ingredients to help boost brain health, but it also has ingredients to help reduce inflammation and boost the immune system.

Avantera Elevate Review

Why Is A Nootropic So Important?

Nootropics refer to certain foods and supplements that help improve your cognitive ability and let you think clearer, improve memory, and feel more energized.

They are all-natural brain-enhancing supplements that:

  • Improve cognitive abilities and memory
  • Support healthy functioning of the brain
  • Enhance brain processing power
  • Increase attention and focus
  • Promote relaxation and elevate mood

These brain enhancers are known to improve your brain health and support overall well-being.

While research into the long-lasting effects of these drugs and supplements is ongoing, the amazing benefits known to date are enough to convince many to use nootropics for better brain health and cognitive enhancement.

The Brand Behind Elevate

Avantera is the brand behind Elevate, and it is known for manufacturing premium nootropic supplements.

Read my review of another popular nootropic, Mind Lab Pro here.

Over the years Avantera has earned a good name and become the leader in the nootropics market.

Currently, Avantera makes two nootropic products.

These are:

  • Avantera Elevate
  • Avantera Unwind

Both these supplements use natural ingredients that are proven to improve focus, energy, memory, stress levels, and sleep.

Avantera serves the market with the mission to help customers live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives through their dietary supplements.

They say they have three core values that define their company, and they live by them every single day.

Avantera Elevate Ingredients List

Elevate is a nootropic supplement that uses 7 natural ingredients proven to improve focus, mood, energy, and gut health.

Multiple clinical studies back the efficacy of ingredients like L-theanine, CDP, caffeine, bacopa, and turmeric for nerve growth factors and brain health.

Most of these ingredients come as part of proprietary blends, which is not good because you never know how much of each ingredient you take in each dose.

The thing with these proprietary blends is that the amount of ingredients listed on the packaging refers to the combined dosage of all the ingredients used.

They do not disclose to their customers the exact amount of every single ingredient they have used to create that ‘perfect’ blend.

One key reason to avoid using supplements and products with proprietary blends like Elevate is that companies often try to trick consumers by hiding the quantity of active ingredients used in them.

It is highly likely that the most effective and expensive ingredients mentioned on the product’s nutrition label are only used in small traces.

Instead, they use additives, fillers, or other less effective ingredients to create the blend.

So, you only get to know after using the product that it doesn’t live up to the hype they have created and the results are not as good and long-lasting as they should be.

Instead of falling for the marketing tactics employed by the company, you should only use Elevate after checking out real reviews from people who have already used it and would vouch for its effectiveness and that the company’s claims are true.

That said, here’s a look into Avantera Elevate ingredients.

Bacopa Monnieri

It’s among the top trending nootropic products known for offering multiple benefits, like lowered cortisol levels (to reduce stress), and relieving depression and anxiety.

It is considered a must-have for many nootropic blends, and Elevate uses it for all its benefits too. While the effective dosage of this perennial herb is between 300mg and 600mg, it is used in a lower range in Elevate.

Avantera Gut And Mood Blend

This blend contains: Organic Lion's Mane, Turmeric Extract, Black Pepper Fruit Extract.

This powerful blend uses Bioperine black pepper extract that enhances the bioavailability of other ingredients, making the product far more efficient and useable.

The turmeric extract in the blend is also a powerhouse as the traditional spice offers many antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits thanks to the curcumin content found in it.

It is believed to help with anxiety and depression by decreasing neuroinflammation and increasing brain-derived neurotrophic factors.

It also improves gut function.

The Lion’s Mane mushroom used in this blend includes multiple bioactive compounds that are both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory like turmeric.

It helps elevate the production of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine while also assisting with the healthy maintenance and growth of neurons.

The ingredient promotes improved cognitive function and also offers neuroprotective benefits.

Avantera Focus And Energy Blend

This blend uses ingredients like CDP choline, green tea leaf extract, and L-theanine to improve focus and energy.

CDP choline helps improve your levels of phosphatidylcholine – an important component of cell membranes known to keep the brain healthy when present in elevated amounts.

As a result, it benefits your cognition overall.

L-theanine found in this blend is mainly obtained from green tea extract.

It alerts you through relaxation by increasing alpha waves in your brain.

The ingredient also improves dopamine, serotonin, and GABA levels and assists with reduced stress and healthy sleep.

The caffeine in the Focus and Energy blend also comes from green tea, and it makes L-theanine more effective.

It reduces anxiety and improves short-term and working memory while giving you an instant energy boost.

While all these ingredients are great, the problem is that the supplement doesn’t meet their clinically effective dosages.

Bacopa is a perfect example of that.

Furthermore, the use of proprietary blends is a red flag.

For instance, the focus and energy blend could have 95% of caffeine — the cheaper ingredient of all three.

So, this raises serious questions about whether it offers the desired benefits.

Avantera Elevate: My Verdict

Avantera Elevate may contain proven ingredients, but unfortunately, many of these ingredients are hidden away within proprietary blends.

When this is coupled with the fact that Elevate is fairly pricey, it’s clear there are better options available.

If you're looking for a brain supplement then Mind Lab Pro is a great option. Alternatively, if you're looking for an all-round body and mind supplement then Supergreen Tonik is worth checking out.

Alpha Brain and Mind Lab Pro are two of the most popular nootropics on the market today… and that means we’ve received plenty of requests to compare the two. Let’s take a closer look.

Alpha Brain is probably the best-known nootropic of all. It was the first nootropic product to really break into the mainstream, after all. Mind Lab Pro, on the other hand, bucks trends with its clean, streamlined branding and unusual transparency.

Let’s see how these industry-leading nootropics compare in terms of quality, reputability, affordability, and more.

What is Alpha Brain?

Alpha Brain is the brainchild (get it?) of Aubrey Marcus, the founder of ONNIT, a bestselling author, and a self-proclaimed “Total Human Optimization” enthusiast.

Aubrey created Alpha Brain for one simple reason: to get things done. “I believe that a time is coming where taking nootropics like Alpha BRAIN will be a standard human adaptation to get things done,” he’s since explained.

Yet he also realized Alpha Brain had to be holistic. “[It’s] like drinking coffee. Except in a lot of ways, I like Alpha BRAIN better than coffee. It has no stimulants and works by directly stimulating neurotransmitters. So it won’t wear out your adrenals [like coffee can].”

The concept behind Alpha Brain is validated by just how long it’s been around. ONNIT launched Alpha brain back in 2011, and it’s been popular ever since!

Alpha brain bottle

PROS

  • A hugely popular nootropic product from a reputable brand
  • Frequently on sale

CONS

  • Features proprietary blends
  • May not contain high enough amounts of some ingredients

Other Onnit brands I have reviewed:

What is Mind Lab Pro?

Mind Lab Pro is another industry-leading nootropic product. It may not have been around for quite as long as Alpha Brain, but it more than makes up for that in other ways.

For one, the product’s branding is perfect. With a clean white box and bottle overlaid with dark lettering, Mind Lab Pro has a distinctly medical vibe — a vibe that stands out from the vivid colors and marketing hype of so many other supplement brands.

Mind Lab Pro becomes even more convincing when you consider that it’s backed by a huge variety of elite athletes and thinkers. Chess players, neuropsychologists, attorneys, and extreme athletes of all sorts all testify to the brain-boosting power of Mind Lab Pro!

Alpha Brain vs. Mind Lab Pro Benefits

Both Alpha Brain and Mind Lab Pro make promising claims when it comes to the efficacy of their products. Mind Land Pro, however, does a slightly better job of baking these claims up. Let’s take a closer look.

Alpha Brain’s top benefits

Does Alpha Brain work? That depends on what you mean by ‘work.’ According to ONNIT, Alpha Brain has the following benefits:

  • Heightened focus
  • Improved memory function
  • Brainwave optimization
  • Reduce stress

This last point is especially interesting, as nootropics aren’t typically known to reduce stress (adaptogens are generally better known for that).

Another caveat: it’s often cost-prohibitive for a company — even a big company like ONNIT — to scientifically prove that its product does what they say it does. Doing so would require putting Alpha Brain through extremely pricey clinical trials.

That being said, many of the individual ingredients in Alpha Brain’s miz have been clinically studied. That may be why ONNIT describes the Alpha Brain as being “clinically studied to help healthy individuals.”

But maybe that’s not so bad. After all, healthy individuals can suffer from brain fog, too. Also, keep in mind that thousands of customers say that Alpha Brain really works. Maybe ONNIT is really onto something here? We’ll take a look at Alpha Brain’s ingredients list next — that should help us appraise their claims.

Mind Lab Pro’s Top Benefits

According to the brand’s own guidelines, Mind Lab Pro takes 1-2 weeks to really begin working. Until then you’ll need to faithfully take the recommended serving every day. Don’t expect to feel like Tesla or Einstein immediately!

After 1-2 weeks, though, things start getting better and better. Mind Lab Pro claims that their product can:

  • Nourish the brain for long-term healthy function
  • Help maintain healthy brain structure and neural plasticity
  • Help counter brain aging

In order to actually have these benefits, Mind Lab Pro would need to either a) contain antioxidants or b) have the ability to help the body produce more of its own antioxidants. We’ll see if either of these possibilities is accurate next.

Alpha Brain vs. Mind Lab Pro Ingredients

As the original brain-boosting product, Alpha Brain contains a blend of tried-and-true B vitamins and newly popular nootropic compounds. Yet it falls short in that it fails to precisely disclose all of its ingredients.

Alpha Brain

Alpha Brains’ packaging says it’s been ‘clinically studied with Huperzine and Bacopa extract’. And these clinically-proven ingredients are just the start. Other highlights include:

  • 10 milligrams of vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine (HCl)
  • 350 milligrams of Cat’s Claw extract
  • 650 milligrams or ONNIT’s Flow blend (L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, Oat straw extract, Phosphatidylserine)
  • 240 milligrams of ONNIT’s Focus blend (Alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine (GPC), Bacopa monnieri extract (100mg), Huperzia serrata extract (as 1% Huperzine A))
  • 65 milligrams of ONNIT’s Fuel blend (L-Leucine, Vinpocetine (5mg), Pterostilbene)

While these ingredients sound impressively exotic, it’s unclear whether or not some of them are present in the quantities needed to actually improve focus or overall brain health.

Bacopa’s standard dose, for example, is 300 milligrams, while Huperzine A’s standard dose is at least 50mg. (source)(source) It’s unclear if the much smaller doses seen in Alpha Brain would result in the same type of benefits.

Mind Lab Pro

Mind Lab Pro is one of the few supplement brands that fully disclose all of their ingredients — even the ingredients in their proprietary blends.

There are 11 total ingredients in Mind Lab Pro’s formula. (Some of these ingredients are actually also present in my Supergreen Tonik supplement, though Supergreen Tonik is able to contain higher doses since it’s in powder form.)

Top ingredients include phosphatidylserine, bacopa, Lion’s Mane, maritime pine bark extract, and a patented form of citicoline called Cognizin®. One of the very best things about this blend is that all 11 of its ingredients are supported by clinical research. The many active compounds in Lion’s Mane mushroom, for example, have been shown to powerfully boost cognition.

Alpha Brain vs. Mind Lab Pro Taste

Neither Alpha Brain nor Mind Lab Pro has an especially good taste. That’s because these nootropic supplements are capsules! In other words, they’re essentially flavorless. This is by design; ingredients like Lion’s Mane would taste quite bitter otherwise.

Alpha Brain

Alpha Brain’s capsules have a neutral (if not nonexistent) taste.

Mind Lab Pro

Mind Lab Pro’s capsules also have a neutral (if not nonexistent) taste.

Alpha Brain vs. Mind Lab Pro Cost

Both Alpha Brain and Mind Lab Pro are fairly expensive supplements that get slightly cheaper if you buy in bulk. Prospective customers should also know that Mind Lab Pro has a great refund policy.

Alpha Brain

The normal cost of Alpha Brain is $75.95 for a 90-capsule bottle. If you’re interested in Alpha Brain, though, be sure tuned, as ONNIT often drops down its price into the 60-something dollar range. The Subscribe and Save option is also a good choice — it results in a 15% savings rate.

Mind Lab Pro

Each bottle of Mind Lab Pro costs $65. Shipping is usually an additional $5-12.50.

That’s actually pretty reasonable, and the deal gets even better if you purchase a 3-month supply — that option gets you free shipping and a free box.

Mind Lab Pro also offers a great money-back guarantee on their products. If you’re not satisfied with it, you can get a full refund (minus shipping) as long as you return it within 60 days.

Alpha Brain vs. Mind Lab Pro: Which is Better?

One of the most important aspects of purchasing a supplement is knowing what’s in it. While ONNIT’s Alpha Brain does disclose all of its ingredients, it doesn’t list the amounts for some of them. That can make dialing in your ideal dose a tenuous process.

Mind Lab Pro, on the other hand, sets itself apart from industry standards by listing the exact amount of every one of its 11 ingredients.

Given that both supplements shine in a variety of other areas, Mind Lab Pro’s radical transparency gives it the upper hand.

Qualia Life is a capsule supplement that is supposed to support better aging at the cellular level. It is produced by a well-known premium supplement brand, Neurohacker Collective.

The capsules are specifically formulated to regulate and boost NAD + ATP, improve sleep, reduce stress levels, boost energy levels, and more!

Qualia Life is 100% vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and non-GMO.

Neurohacker Collective is a popular premium supplement brand and therefore I’m keen to take a closer look at Qualia Life, one of the brand’s best-sellers.

If you’re thinking of purchasing Qualia Life or if you’re also interested in taking a closer look at it, check out my full Qualia Life review below.

Qualia Life Bottle

What is Qualia Life?

My first impression of Neurohacker Collective is good! I’ve actually already reviewed a few Neurohacker Collective supplements before, Qualia Immune and Qualia Mind, so I know that I already like the brand!

The branding of the website clearly gets across the impression that this is a premium brand that’s heavily science-based. I like the fact that the website offers a wide range of informative content and there’s even a blog and podcast!

Looking at the Qualia Life capsules, I like the simple and sleek branding and in keeping with the rest of the brand’s website, there’s a lot of information on the page, which is great to see!

I’m definitely intrigued to take a closer look at this product!

Background on Neurohacker Collective

Neurohacker Collective was founded in 2015 by Jordan Greenhall, James Schmachtenberger, Daniel Schmachtenberger, and Venessa Hall. Together, they aim to create a world-class wellbeing company that produces scientifically developed supplements.

The company is based in California but its products are sold in over 50 countries worldwide.

Qualia Life is in the brand’s longevity line of products, but it also has cognition, immunity, energy, sleep, beauty, and vision lines.

Qualia Life Benefits

Qualia Life is specifically developed to support better aging at the cellular level.

It is supposed to regulate and boost NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, an enzyme found in every cell), and ATP (adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule found in the cells).

Additionally, the brand claims that Qualia Life will also support processes and pathways in the body (not specified), restrict calories, improve sleep, reduce stress levels, boost energy levels, and promote productivity.

Qualia Life Ingredients

Qualia Life contains 24 main ingredients, with other vitamins and minerals added into the capsules too.

All of the ingredients within Qualia Life are fully disclosed on the ingredients label which means it’s easy to see if the ingredients are sufficiently dosed and therefore work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’ll be looking more closely at the efficacy of Qualia Life later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredient label.

Here is the complete list of the Qualia Life ingredients:

How does Qualia Life Taste?

Since Qualia Life is a capsule supplement, there’s no taste associated with it.

There are no warnings of potential side effects associated with Qualia Life and the brand doesn’t provide any information about who and who shouldn’t consume the capsules.

However, I would suggest that anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone taking medication, or anyone with a medical condition, should consult a doctor before consuming Qualia Life.

Side Effects

There are no warnings of potential side effects associated with Qualia Life and the brand doesn’t provide any information about who and who shouldn’t consume the capsules.

However, I would suggest that anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone taking medication, or anyone with a medical condition, should consult a doctor before consuming Qualia Life.

Does Qualia Life Work?

Qualia Life has a fully disclosed ingredients label, which means it’s clear to see how much of each ingredient exists within the capsules and simple to figure out if the ingredients are sufficiently dosed.

Although not all of the ingredients within the Qualia Life formula have standard recommended doses, we can still take a look at the ones that do and see if they will be sufficiently dosed.

So, let’s do that!

There’s 250mg of L-carnitine per serving and the standard recommended dose of this ingredient is between 600–2,500 mg. Therefore, it’s insufficiently dosed.

It's clear that the ingredients in the formula that have standard recommended doses are not sufficiently dosed.

There’s 125mg of Sensoril ashwagandha extract per serving and the recommended dose of ashwagandha sits between 500mg – 600mg, meaning that again, this ingredient is not sufficiently dosed. (check out the best ashwagandha supplements here).

There’s 100mg of L-cystine per serving and the recommended dose is between 200-600mg, meaning this is also insufficiently dosed.

Finally, there’s only 40mg of pomegranate fruit extract per serving, but the recommended dose sits between 1,000-3,000mg.

Although we can only take a look at certain ingredients within the formula, it’s clear that these ones are not sufficiently dosed!

Therefore, these ingredients may not provide benefits to the consumer.

Overall, it’s not looking likely that these capsules will be as effective as the brand claims they will.

Qualia Life Reviews

Although there are reviews of Qualia Life on the Neurohacker Collective website, the product is also available on Amazon, so we can look on there to see a selection of more unbiased and honest customer reviews.

Overall, the formula scores a star rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 stars and there are 18 customer ratings in total.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

This supplement wittily redefined what aging is all about. I honestly have more vigor than certain periods of my younger days. My energy levels are spiked, my restful periods are more peaceful now and rejuvenating, and my productivity… well, let’s just say it has boosted to the point even my younger peers want to know my secret (yah, right!). My good health is in it for the long haul, as it steadily surges with no end in sight. Oh, sure, I work smarter… but this really helps my body to keep up, every step of the way!5-star review

Eight pills were just too much to swallow. I can deal with supplements that call for 3-4 at the most but eight was just a crazy amount. I'm on week three of using this supplement as directed and have not noticed and major differences nor improvements that would make the eight pills worthwhile!2-star review

I finished a bottle of this and did not notice any effects, either positive or negative. No obvious improvement to energy, sleep, or cognition. I have tried many supplements to boost mitochondrial health and NAD+ and have never noticed anything from any of them, which would suggest I am not deficient in anything. For this Qualia Life product experiment, I suspended taking my usual assortment of daily supplements, other than a multivitamin. I am in my mid-40s and I don't struggle with energy, sleep, or cognition, so I am not exactly in the target audience. If you are over 60 and struggle with low energy you are more in the target audience.2-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Neurohacker Collective offers a 100-day money-back guarantee on all of its products, including Qualia Life.

Where to buy Qualia Life?

You can buy Qualia Life from the Neurohacker Collective website or from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

You can either buy Qualia Life on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option.

One bottle of Qualia Life contains 20 servings. Qualia suggests that you take the capsules for 5 days and then have 2 days off, one bottle contains a 28 day supply.

One bottle of Qualia Life costs $159 on a one-time purchase, therefore meaning the cost per serving works out at $7.95.

If you sign up for a subscription, your first bottle of Qualia Immune costs $79.50, meaning the cost per serving works out at $3.98, and the other bottles going forward cost $139, meaning the cost per serving of these bottles works out at $6.95.

These capsules are incredibly expensive and at such a high price, I don’t think these capsules are worth it! Instead, a more effective and cheaper alternative can be found with a nootropic like Mind Lab Pro.

My Final Verdict

Unfortunately, although I like the Neurohacker Collective brand, I can’t say that I’m impressed by Qualia Life.

The main issue I have with this supplement is the fact that not all of the ingredients in the capsules are sufficiently dosed and therefore they may not provide the benefits the brand claims they will.

Additionally, even though the formula doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, it’s still sold at an extremely high price – this has to be one of the highest cost per serving supplements on the market.

Therefore, if you’re looking for a supplement that supports longevity and vitality, I would look elsewhere!

What is Form Boost?

My first impressions of the Form website are incredibly positive! The website is absolutely packed with informative content, powerful products, and sleek yet eye-catching visuals.

I particularly like the fact that the website has a quiz that you can use to figure out which products you need to use.

The Form Boost supplement looks interesting – it’s beautifully branded, there’s adequate information about the supplement, and the product seems to be fully disclosed. So, I’m looking forward to taking a closer look at it.

Form Boost only contains 4 main ingredients in total. The ingredients label is fully disclosed and therefore it’s clear to see how much of each ingredient exists within the capsules and work out the efficacy of the supplement.

However, I’ll be taking a closer look at that later in this review! First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Form Boost Nootropic ingredients:

  • CDP-Choline – 250mg
  • L-Theanine – 200mg
  • Caffeine Anhydrous – 100mg
  • Dimocarpus Longan (Euphoria Fruit) 20:1 Extract – 100mg

How does Form Boost Nootropic Taste?

Due to the fact that Form Boost is a capsule supplement it has no taste.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Form Boost. However, the brand states that the consumer should never exceed the recommended dose of 4 capsules per day, maximum.

Additionally, the brand states that no one who is pregnant or nursing should consume the capsules, and those who are on medication or those with a medical condition should consult a doctor before consuming it.

Does Form Boost Nootropic Work?

The Form Boost ingredients label is fully disclosed and therefore, it’s completely clear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula. This makes it super easy to work out the efficacy of the formula.

So, let’s do just that!

There’s 250mg of CDP-Choline in each serving and the recommended dose of CDP-Choline is between 250mg – 500mg. Therefore, this ingredient is sufficiently dosed.

There’s 200mg of L-Theanine in each serving and the recommended dose of this ingredient is 200-250mg, meaning this one is sufficiently dosed too!

All of the ingredients within Form Boost are sufficiently dosed!

The 100mg of caffeine within the formula sits inside the recommended guideline of up to 400mg.

There’s 100mg of Dimocarpus Longan in each serving, and with a recommended dose of 50-100mg, this ingredient is also sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, all of the ingredients within Form Boost are sufficiently dosed! This means that the capsules could certainly provide the consumer with the benefits that are associated with it!

Form Boost Nootropic Reviews

Unfortunately, Form Boost is not available on Amazon which is where I typically look to see unbiased and honest customer reviews of supplements.

However, there are more than 100 customer reviews of the capsules on the Form website.

So, we can take a look on there to see a selection of customer reviews – just be aware that they may be biased since they’re on the brand’s own website.

Although it appears that the overall rating of the formula is 5 stars out of 5 stars at the bottom of the product page there are actually several negative customer reviews. This makes it more likely that the company has allowed the reviews to be honest, which is great!

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

I’ve only had a couple so far but it does seem to give a good little boost of energy and works fast. I’ve taken it when I need help and more focus to get through my work.5-star review

It really helped me focus and cleared my mind but the caffeine content was too high for me and I felt like I had an anxiety attack so when the caffeine wore off I crashed pretty badly but if you’re not sensitive to caffeine like I am then giving it a try4-star review

There needs to be a bit more info about when/how to take these. I made the mistake of taking the boost in the morning, pre-work out, then having a coffee afterwards and felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Horrendous jitters, not feeling myself and sweats. Can you include something that stipulates if you’re a morning coffee drinker have this instead of – not in conjunction.3-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Form does not offer a money-back guarantee.

However, the brand does offer returns of unopened products within 14 days of receipt, although they’ve said they will allow refunds even if it takes 30 days to get delivered back to them.

Where to buy Form Boost Nootropic?

You can buy Form Boost from the Form website and from Browns, FarFetch, and Naturisimo.

Is It Worth The Price?

One bottle of Form Boost 30 capsules. Although the brand claims that you can take up to 4 capsules per day, the recommended serving is 1 capsule per day.

So, if you took one capsule a day, one bottle would contain 30 servings!

You can either buy the capsules on a one-time purchase or on a discounted subscription option.

On a one-time purchase, one bottle of Form Boost costs £19 ($25.14), meaning the cost per serving works out at £0.63 ($0.83).

On a subscription option, one bottle of Form Boost costs £15.20 ($20.11), meaning the cost per serving works out at £0.51 ($0.67).

Since Form Boost contains sufficiently dosed ingredients I think it is worth the price that it’s sold at.

However, obviously do be aware that if you’re taking more than one serving per day the bottle will not last a whole month!

My Final Verdict

I’m very pleasantly surprised by the Form Boost capsule supplement!

All of the ingredients within each serving are sufficiently dosed, meaning it definitely has the possibility to provide the consumer with benefits.

The supplement is also very reasonably priced, has good reviews, and is suitable for a wide range of people.

Therefore, if you’re wanting to purchase a nootropic supplement, Form Boost may be a good choice!

Effusio Sleep + is a disc supplement that contains three herbal ingredients that are supposed to help you relax and sleep better.

Effusio is a supplement brand that sits under the Thorne Healthcare company.

The brand claims that by taking just one of these discs per day, consumers will benefit from improved sleep, feeling more refreshed during the day, and feeling calmer and more relaxed.

Effusio Sleep + is gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free. It is also packaged in a recyclable carton that doesn’t contain plastic – the brand is particularly eco-conscious.

This unique disc supplement is interesting and I’m keen to see if it really can provide the consumer with the benefits that a powder supplement would.

Effusio Sleep + First Impressions

The Effusio website is modern, sleek, and eye-catching – I like it. There’s a wide range of information all across the website, which is great to see, and there’s an engaging blog too!

Looking at Effusio Sleep +, the branding looks vibrant and interesting, and I’m definitely intrigued by the fact that it’s a disc supplement. There’s also an adequate amount of information about the product, which is wonderful.

I’m definitely excited to take a closer look at this supplement.

The company behind the Effusio Sleep + supplement is complex.

Effusio is a supplement brand that sits under Thorne Healthtech, a merger of Onegevity and Thorne. However, the LLC behind Effusio is called Nutrativa LLC – it’s all a little confusing!

Paul Jacobson is the CEO of Thorne, and it’s headquartered in New York. Effusio was founded at the end of 2019.
Alongside Effusio Sleep +, the brand also produces a Prebiotic + disc supplement.

Effusio Sleep + Benefits

There’s actually a substantial dose of information about the Effusio Sleep +, which is great to see!

The supplement is supposed to support natural hormone activity, promote relaxation, help the consumer stay asleep during the night, and help them to feel refreshed upon waking.

Additionally, the brand provides information about the benefits associated with each ingredient.

For example, “Chamomile has been used for centuries in traditional folk medicine in treating complaints related to sleep and anxious feelings because of chamomile’s calming properties”.

Effusio Sleep + Ingredients

Effusio Prebiotic contains just 4 main ingredients. Although three of these ingredients are produced by specific brands and two are complex ingredients, the amount of each ingredient is disclosed.

This makes it fairly easy to figure out the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’ll take a look at that later! First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Effusio Sleep + ingredients:

  • L-Theanine – 200mg
  • Chamomile Extract (flowering top) (Matricaria recutita) – 100mg
  • Melatonin – 1mg
  • Other Ingredients-Cellulose Powder, Glycerin (Vegetable Source), Quillaja Extract, Flavors, Pullulan, Oat Fiber, Purified Water, Spirulina Extract (Color), Stevia Extract (Leaf) (Rebaudioside A 95%), Carboxymethylcellulose Gum, Citric Acid.

Here is the supplement label:

Effusio Sleep Label

How does Effusio Sleep + Taste?

Effusio Sleep + is Wild Blueberry flavored. The ingredients label says that the discs contain “flavors”, meaning they’re most likely not natural, since this isn’t disclosed. The discs also contain stevia leaf extract to sweeten them.

Although all of the reviews of the discs are positive, not all of them are positive about the taste of the formula – not everyone seems keen on it!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Effusio Sleep +. However, the brand does suggest that if you are pregnant or nursing you should consult a doctor before consumption.

I would also recommend that if you have a medical condition or are taking medication you should also consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Effusio Sleep + Work?

Effusio Sleep + is unique in the fact that it’s a disc supplement. Since the brand does specify why they’ve chosen to use discs, it’s unclear if there is a scientific benefit to using a disc supplement.

In my opinion, I would assume that these discs will not be able to provide a substantial amount of ingredients.

However, the ingredients label is fully disclosed (albeit the “other ingredients” aren’t), therefore it’s possible to figure out the efficacy of the formula.

So, let’s take a look at some of the ingredients.

There’s 200mg of L-theanine per serving and since the recommended dose of this ingredient is 200mg, it’s sufficiently dosed!

It’s clear that not all of the ingredients within these discs are sufficiently dosed.

There’s 100mg of chamomile per serving and since the recommended dose of 900-1,200mg, this ingredient is clearly not sufficiently dosed.

Finally, there’s 1mg of melatonin per serving and the recommended dose of this ingredient is between 1-8mg, meaning that although it’s sufficiently dosed, it’s on the lower side of being sufficiently dosed!

Overall, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within these discs are sufficiently dosed. Therefore this supplement may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.

Effusio Sleep + Reviews

Effusio Sleep + is not available on Amazon, where I typically take a look to see unbiased and honest customer reviews. However, the product is sold on Thorne and there are a few customer reviews on there.

So, we can take a look at some reviews on there!

However, be aware that these ingredients may be biased since they’re on the brand’s website.

Overall, Effusio Sleep + only has 9 customer ratings and the overall rating of the product is 4.5 out of 5 stars. There are no reviews that are less than 4 stars.

Let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

For me, I think I need more of the melatonin, but overall this does relax me. It tastes great and is easy to use.5-star review

Works perfect for me every time I need a little support getting to sleep. The big one for me with Sleep + over some other products in the past is that I wake up feeling refreshed and not groggy. So I hit the ground running to get the kids ready for school and start my day.3-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Effusio doesn’t provide any money-back guarantee, and if you want to return the product, you have to do so within 14 days of purchase.

Where to buy Effusio Sleep +?

You can buy Effusio Sleep +from the Effusio website and from Thorne.

Is It Worth The Price?

One box of Effusio Sleep + contains 15 discs, therefore meaning one box will provide 15 servings.

You can either buy the supplements on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option.

One box of Effusio Sleep + on a one-time purchase costs $32, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.13.

One box of Effusio Sleep + on a subscription costs the same initially, but refills cost $28.80, meaning the cost per serving on refills is $1.92.

Although certain ingredients within this supplement are likely to be sufficiently dosed, not all of them are, and all of the ingredients aren’t especially heavily weighted.

Therefore, since the formula is expensive, I don’t think it’s worth the price that it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

Effusio is definitely an interesting supplement brand with super trendy branding and the team behind it clearly have great values concerning the environment.

However, unfortunately, not all of the ingredients within this disc supplement doesn’t are substantially dosed and therefore, it may not actually provide the benefits associated with this supplement.

Additionally, Effusio Sleep + is too expensive, in my opinion, due to the fact that not all of the ingredients are sufficiently dosed. It also only contains 3 ingredients – other sleep supplements tend to have more ingredients.

Overall, I would not recommend purchasing this supplement – it’s expensive for what it is and not all of the ingredients may provide you with the benefits associated with them since they’re not sufficiently dosed.

If you’re looking for a sleep supplement, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Jocko Discipline GO is a bold-looking supplement that has some bold claims! This capsule supplement is supposedly a powerful nootropic that contains a wide range of potent ingredients.

My first impressions of the supplement are pretty good – the branding is smart, striking, and daring. Additionally, the ingredients within the formula seem to be disclosed and therefore the efficacy of the formula can be figured out!

So, overall, I’m excited to take a closer look at the formula.

Background on Jocko GO/ Origin Labs

Jocko Discipline Go is a supplement within the Jocko Fuel range, a range of supplements created by former Navy Seal Commander, Jocko Willink.

All of the supplements within this range are specific sports nutrition supplements that are supposed to fuel the mind and body.

Although the range of Jocko Fuel supplements is available on various online stores, it’s primarily sold on Origin Labs, a US based sports nutrition supplier.

Jocko Discipline GO Benefits

Jocko Discipline GO is supposed to improve focus, boost energy levels, increase memory, reduce stress levels, improve mood, and provide higher levels of clarity.

The brand also claims that the supplement is crafted in a synergistic way that helps to support cerebral blood flow, protecting brain cells and neurons.

Jocko Discipline GO Ingredients

Jocko Discipline GO contains 11 main nootropic ingredients.

The ingredients label is fully disclosed, meaning it’s clear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula. Therefore, it’s easy to work out the efficacy of the formula, which is great!

However, I’ll be looking more closely at that later on. First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Jocko Discipline GO ingredients:

  • Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine HCL) – 420mcg
  • Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin) – 40mcg
  • Acetyl L Carnitine – 500mg
  • Bacopa Monnieri Extract – 300mg
  • Ashwagandha Extract – 250mg
  • Beet Root Extract (Betaine Nitrate 50%) – 150mg
  • Caffeine Anhydrous – 120mg
  • Phosphatidylserine 70% – 100mg

How does Jocko Discipline GO Taste?

Due to the fact that Jocko Discipline GO is a capsule supplement, there is no taste associated with it, as long as you swallow it before it dissolves in your mouth.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Jocko Discipline GO.

However, since the ingredients within this supplement are potent, I would recommend consulting with a doctor before consumption if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or have a medical condition.

Does Jocko Discipline GO Work?

Jocko Discipline GO has a fully disclosed ingredients label, meaning it’s clear to see how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This means it’s easy to compare the amounts of each ingredient within the formula to the standard recommended doses of them.

So, let’s take a look and do just that!

The amount of bacopa monnieri within the formula totals 300mg, and since the recommended dose of this ingredient is between 300mg-450mg, it’s sufficiently dosed!

The amount of Rhodiola Rosea within the formula totals 100mg, but since the recommended dose of this ingredient is between 200mg – 600mg, it is clearly not sufficiently dosed.

One serving (3 capsules) of Jocko Discipline GO clearly doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Additionally, the Ashwagandha root extract within the formula is clearly not sufficiently dosed either. The amount of Ashwagandha in the formula totals 250mg, and the recommended dose sits between 500-600mg.

The same can be said for Panax ginseng – the recommended dose of ginseng is 200mg, and since there’s only 75mg of it within the formula, it is not sufficiently dosed!

Overall, one serving (3 capsules) of Jocko Discipline GO clearly doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients. However, if you take two servings (6 capsules), you may benefit from sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Jocko Discipline GO Reviews

Jocko Discipline GO is available on Amazon and therefore we can take a look on there to see a selection of customer reviews!

The product has 1,380 customer ratings and an overall score of 4.6 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

I've been fighting the 3 pm slowdown for a while, even while fasting. I added Jocko Discipline to my daily regimen and I can tell you this stuff works. My productivity is through the roof. My focus and clarity are much better than before. My favorite is that my overall discipline is higher. If I commit to something, it helps me fight off hesitation and just get after it. Get yourself some discipline in a bottle. I did and it has made all the difference.5-star review

I normally dont get headaches. This product gave me a headache all day on the day after I had taken 3. I didnt take them at the same time I spaced it out by an hour. Also didnt notice any energy from taking them.4-star review

I gave this product the benefit of the doubt, as I love Jocko and what he stands for. I used up the entire bottle. Took 3 a day Mon-Fri around 1pm after the gym or around 11am before the gym. I didn't notice any positive or negative effect at all. Hey, we're all one big science experiment/alchemist's potion in a bag of skin. While this did nothing for me, it might for you. My 1 star review is MY review, not yours. I don't believe Jocko would put something out that he didn't believe in. Try it for yourself. You might love it.1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

The return policy of Jocko Discipline GO differs from website to website. For example, if you purchase the product between October 1st – December 31st, you can return the product on Amazon until January 31, 2022.

However, there are no money-back guarantees offered.

Where to buy Jocko Discipline GO?

You can buy Jocko Discipline GO from Origin Labs, Amazon, Walmart, VitaminShoppe, and various other online supplement stores.

Is It Worth The Price?

One bottle of Jocko Discipline GO contains 90 capsules and costs $39.95.

However, the serving size isn’t precise, and therefore, the cost per serving will be different depending on how many capsules you take daily.

The general recommended serving size of this supplement is 3 capsules daily, which would mean that one bottle contains 30 servings. This would mean that the cost per serving would work out at $1.33.

However, the brand also suggests that you can take between 1-3 capsules twice daily.

So, if you take just two capsules daily, the cost per serving would work out cheaper, at $0.89.

But, if you take six capsules daily, the cost per serving would work out at $2.66.

The formula might be inexpensive at a cost per serving of $0.89, but it’s definitely not worth it at a cost per serving of $2.66.

In order to benefit from the recommended dose of the ingredients within the formula, you would have to take 6 capsules daily, and therefore the cost per serving would be $2.66.

Therefore, overall, I don’t think it’s worth the price that it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

Although the Jocko Disclipine GO formula looks visually pleasing and like it’s going to really provide you with a high dose of powerful ingredients, I’m not pleased with this supplement.

A single serving of Jocko Disclipine GO will not provide you with sufficiently dosed ingredients. However, if you take two servings, (6 capsules), you may benefit from sufficiently dosed ingredients.

So, if you’re going to actually benefit from the capsules you have to take two servings of them, meaning the cost per serving is going to be higher than advertised.

Overall, if you’re happy to consume 6 capsules on a daily basis, then go for it and purchase this formula. However, there are much easier, much higher quality and much cheaper nootropic formulas out there.

Energy Renew is an energy-boosting powder that contains a number of herbal ingredients, fruits, and chemical compounds, produced by Gundry MD.

This formula specifically appeals to older people. It’s supposed to promote clearer thinking, improve energy levels throughout the day, improve metabolism, protect from free radicals, and more.

Energy Renew is one of the most popular powdered supplements produced by Gundry MD, and since this company is well-known both in the US and globally, I’m keen to take a look at this formula.

What is Energy Renew?

I’m familiar with the Gundry MD website as I’ve reviewed a few of the Gundry MD products. However, every time I visit the website I’m a little more underwhelmed.

There’s no real personality of the brand, there’s a lack of information about its products, and it seems to be overly pushy and salesy.

The Energy Renew formula looks slightly more interesting, with some color and imagery on its tub.

However, it’s still not exactly eye-catching, and although there’s a lot of text on the product page, there’s not actually a lot of valuable content.

Other Gundry MD supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on Gundry MD

Dr Steven Gundry, a cardiothoracic surgeon, founded Gundry MD in 2016. Due to the fact that Gundry is a popular author and personality, the brand grew quickly and Gundry MD supplements continue to be popular.

The mission of the Gundry MD is to “dramatically improve human health” and the company produces a wide range of supplements alongside the Energy Renew formula.

Unfortunately, though, there are several complaints about the business on the BBB, a lot claiming that the company and its products are a scam.

Energy Renew Benefits

Gundry MD claims that the Energy Renew formula provides an array of benefits.

The formula is supposed to promote clearer thinking, improve energy levels throughout the day, improve metabolism, help your body recover after exercise, and defend the body against free radicals.

Energy Renew Ingredients

Energy Renew contains 15 main ingredients. Two of the ingredients within the formula are fully disclosed, but the rest of the ingredients exist within a proprietary blend.

Therefore, it is impossible to know how much of 13 of the ingredients actually exist within this formula, meaning it’s hard to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’ll be looking more closely at that later in this review. First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Energy Renew ingredients:

  • D-Ribose (Bioenergy Ribose®) – 5,000 mg
  • N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine – 500 mg
  • Polyphenol Blend – 300mg –Beet (Beta vulgaris) Root Extract (1% Nitrate), Hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa) Flower Extract,[Acai, Acerola, Amla, Jabuticaba, Cranberry, Goji, Mangosteen, Maqui Berry, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Schisandra Berry] (Betta Berries”).
  • Other Ingredients –Citric Acid, Calcium Silicate, Natural Flavor, Silicon Dioxide, Stevia (Rebaudioside A) Leaf Extract, Maltodextrin.

Here is the supplement label:

Energy Renew Label

How does Energy Renew Taste?

Energy Renew is Passion Fruit flavored, naturally, and it’s sweetened with stevia leaf extract and maltodextrin.

There are actually a number of positive reviews concerning the taste of this formula, which is great!

However, some people think that it tastes too artificially sweet, which it may be if it contains maltodextrin!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Energy Renew formula.

However, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consuming this formula.

Does Energy Renew Work?

Although the amounts of two of the ingredients within the Energy Renew formula are disclosed, the other ingredients within the formula exist within a proprietary blend, meaning it’s impossible to work out the efficacy of the formula.

It’s easy to work out whether or not the two disclosed ingredients are sufficiently dosed.

However, when it comes to the proprietary blend, we’ll have to compare the recommended doses of the ingredients in the blend to the total amount of the blend.

So, let’s do just that!

First, let’s take a look at the two disclosed ingredients.

There’s 5,000mg of D-Ribose in the formula and since the recommended dose sits between 5g – 10g, it hits the minimum recommended dose!

There’s only one ingredient within this formula that’s definitely sufficiently dosed and the rest are most likely not sufficiently dosed.

There’s 500mg of N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine in the formula and since the recommended dose of this ingredient sits between 1.5g – 3g, this ingredient is not sufficiently dosed.

The Polyphenol Blend totals 300mg, and although there aren’t many ingredients in the blend that have standard recommended doses, there are a few.

The combined recommended dose of acai, beetroot extract, and Goji berry is 650mg.

Therefore, clearly, not all of the ingredients within this formula are sufficiently dosed.

Overall, there’s only one ingredient within this formula that’s definitely sufficiently dosed and there are certainly other ingredients that are not sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.

Additionally, the formula contains maltodextrin, which is a detrimental and artificial ingredient that can raise blood sugar levels.

Energy Renew Reviews

Although there are reviews of the Energy Renew formula on the Gundry MD website, it’s also available to buy on Amazon. Therefore, we can take a look on there to see reviews that are much more likely to be unbiased.

The Energy Renew formula has 461 customer ratings and scores an overall rating of 4.1 stars out of 5 stars.

Most people, even those that leave positive reviews of the formula think that it’s overpriced.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

Put this in my smoothie every day. Helps with appetite and weight loss and some energy too. The down side is that it has stevia in it and I am sensitive to it. But I have found that if it is mixed in with my food I'm not affected by it. Otherwise it makes me dizzy. Weird but true.5-star review

It works fairly well. If your loaded and you want a decent product for energy, Its for you. For the rest of us we should stick to coffee and multi vitamins! My wife about laughed me outa the house when she found out how much this was😂3-star review

Not worth the $ as there was really no energy boost for me. Will not buy again.1-star review

Where to buy Energy Renew?

You can buy Energy Renew from the Gundry MD website and from Amazon.

SHOP ENERGY RENEW

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Energy Renew contains 30 servings of formula.

You can either buy one, three, or six tubs of formula – you receive more discount the more you buy.

One bottle of Energy Renew costs $74.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.50.

Three bottles of Energy Renew costs $200.85, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.23.

Six bottles of Energy Renew costs $353.70, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.10.

Although Energy Review provides a sufficient dose of D-Ribose, I think the formula is overpriced due to the fact that not all of the ingredients are sufficiently dosed.

Even the cheapest cost per serving is expensive for a formula that doesn’t have a sufficiently dosed ingredients label.

My Final Verdict

Unfortunately, I’m not keen on the Energy Renew formula for a few reasons.

Firstly, the most concerning thing about the formula is that it doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label or contain 100% sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Secondly, the formula contains maltodextrin, an ingredient detrimental to health.

Thirdly, the formula is very expensive for what it is.

Secondly, the price of the capsules is high for what they provide you with.

Overall, if you’re looking for a formula that’s going to improve your energy levels, I would recommend looking for a superfood powder that has a fully disclosed label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients – this way, you know that what you’re consuming will actually work!

Memotenz is a nootropic capsule supplement that is available exclusively on Amazon.

The capsule formula contains a few potent herbal ingredients that are supposed to improve mental clarity, improve memory, and focus, and generally improve the well-being of the mind.

Although there doesn’t seem to be a lot of transparency about the Memotenz brand and there are a lot of negative customer reviews on Amazon of the supplement, there are a number of extremely positive reviews on supplement review blogs.

Therefore, I’m keen to take a closer look at this supplement to see what it’s really like.

Whether you’re thinking of purchasing Memotenz or you also want to take a closer look at it and learn more about this nootropic supplement, check out my full Memotenz review below.

Memotenz Tub

What is Memotenz?

Although I have no problem with brands that exclusively sell their supplements on Amazon, my first impression of Memotenz isn’t great simply due to the fact that there are multiple brands selling this capsule supplement under their own names and each bottle seems to have a different ingredients label.

Therefore, my first impressions of the supplement aren’t positive! I believe in complete transparency when it comes to both the ingredients label and the company, and that doesn’t seem to be what’s happening here!

It’s going to be interesting to take a closer look at Memotenz.

Similar supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on Memotenz

Memotenz is a supplement that’s apparently created by the Health Research Institute. However, it’s sold on Amazon under many brand names, and since it’s not sold on a specific company website, it’s unclear who the brand behind the formula truly is.

The lack of information online about the company behind Memotenz is pretty much non-existent which is a huge red flag to me. In fact, I’m surprised that people have purchased this supplement without any information about who is creating it!

Memotenz Benefits

Memotenz is marketed as a nootropic supplement that is supposed to improve mental clarity, increase the ability to focus, improve memory, and boost overall cognitive function.

Memotenz Ingredients

Unlike typical supplements I review, there doesn’t actually seem to be a singular ingredients label for Memotenz.

There are multiple sellers on Amazon of the supplement and pretty much each version of Memotenz comes with a different ingredients label.

This is not only concerning because it’s unclear which ingredients actually exist within the supplement if you choose to purchase it, but it supports the fact that the supplement could be a complete scam.

In an attempt to keep things simple, we will take a look at the ingredients label of Memotenz that is most commonly shown on Amazon. We will also look into the efficacy of the same ingredients label later in this review.

Here is the complete list of the Memotenz ingredients:

  • Proprietary Cognitive Function – 1,000mg –Bacopa Monnieri Powder, Ginkgo Biloba Extract (24% Ginkgo Flavones, 6% Terpene Latones), Siberian Ginseng Extract, Alpha Lipoic Extract, Phosphatidy Serine.
  • Other Ingredients –Gelatin Capsule, Magnesium Stearate, Vegetable Grade, Rice Powder.

Here is the supplement label:

Memotenz Label

How does Memotenz Taste?

Since Memotenz is a capsule supplement there is no flavor associated with it.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Memotenz. However, the supplement should not be consumed by those who are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or with a medical condition, before consulting a doctor.

Does Memotenz Work?

Concerningly, each Memotenz capsule supplement on Amazon seems to have a different ingredients label – this is very strange and suggests once again that the product could be a scam.

However, we will take a look into the efficacy of the Memotenz capsules that are sold under the Memotenz brand shop on Amazon.

This specific supplement is made up of a singular proprietary blend, meaning it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

However, we can take an educated guess as to whether this blend contains sufficiently dosed ingredients by comparing the total amount of the blend to the standard recommended doses of the ingredients within the blend.

It’s incredibly concerning and disappointing that different sellers’ of this supplement show their products having different ingredients labels.

The Proprietary Cognitive Formula totals 1,000mg.

The combined recommended dose of the three main ingredients (ginkgo, bacopa monnieri, and ginseng), totals 1,400mg. Therefore, it can be said for certain that all these ingredients cannot be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, overall, Memotenz most likely does not provide consumers with the benefits that the brand claims it does.

Additionally, it’s incredibly concerning and disappointing that different sellers’ of this supplement show their products having different ingredients labels.

Memotenz Reviews

Memotenz is sold exclusively on Amazon and therefore, we can take a look at the customer reviews there.

Although there are different reviews depending on which bundle of Memotenz you choose to take a look at, we will take a look at the two-pack Memotenz bundle since it has 11 ratings in total – the most out of the bunch!

Overall, the supplement scores a rating of 3.7 stars out of 5 stars, with 11 customer ratings and 3 customer reviews.
So, let’s take a look at these reviews!

Seems to help with my memory loss.4-star review

Dislike not of standard expectation.. very disappointed.4-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Since these supplements are not sold on the company’s website, it’s unclear what the return policy is on Memotenz. However, there is no money-back guarantee.

Where to buy Memotenz?

You can buy Memotenz from Amazon. The brand does not have its own website where the supplement is sold.

Is It Worth The Price?

Memotenz is sold in bottles that contain 30 capsules, and with a serving size of 1 capsule daily, one bottle provides 30 servings.

Since the capsules are sold exclusively on Amazon, you cannot buy the product as a subscription to the formula as you can with most other supplements.

However, you can buy either a singular bottle, a 2 pack, a 3 pack, or a 5 pack. The more bottles you buy, the cheaper the cost per serving gets!

So, we’ll take a look at the price of both the most expensive option and the cheapest.

If you buy just one bottle of Memotenz, this costs $44.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.50.

If you buy the 5-pack of Memotenz, this costs $89.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $0.60.

Therefore, clearly, there is a huge difference in price depending on how you choose to purchase the product.

At the lowest possible cost per serving of $0.60, the product may be worth it.

However, it’s certainly not worth the full price cost per serving of $1.50, in my opinion, due to the fact that there’s a lack of transparency around the company and there is a selection of negative customer reviews.

My Final Verdict

Unfortunately, I’m left completely disappointed by Memotenz.

The fact that there is no clear information online about the brand behind the supplement, there are multiple brands selling the supplement on Amazon, and each supplement seems to have different ingredients labels really concerns me and puts me off.

In my opinion, you should only ever buy a supplement that you can truly stand behind and trust, and in this case, I just don’t trust the supplement.

If you are looking for a powerful nootropic supplement, I would suggest that you look at the best nootropics out there and choose to purchase one from a trusted and transparent company.
