Unbloat Review

Unbloat Review: Can This Supplement Beat Bloating?

Unbloat is a capsule supplement that’s supposed to reduce bloating. How well could Ubloat work, and is it worth spending your money on?

The capsule supplement contains digestive enzymes, probiotics, prebiotic fibers, herbal ingredients, vitamins, and minerals.

In addition to reducing bloating, Unbloat capsules are also supposed to support healthy digestion, improve weight management, provide bowel regularity, and more.

The Unbloat capsules are suitable for various people – they’re dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, vegan, keto-friendly, and paleo-friendly.

Although there are foods that can reduce bloating, there are a few supplements on the market that can help too, and with Unbloat being one of the most recently come to my attention.

If you’re thinking of purchasing Unbloat capsules or you also want to take a closer look at them, check out my full Unbloat review below.

Unbloat First Impressions

My first impressions of the Unbloat website are very mixed – the website's design seems colorful, vibrant, and fun, but there’s a complete lack of information about the Unbloat product.

Unfortunately, there’s not much information about the brand, there’s a lack of transparency surrounding the ingredients and the amounts of the ingredients in the capsules, and the research that backs up the product.

Although the site's design might be nice, it’s concerning that there’s such a lack of information about the product – the brand is not being transparent as I would like.

Background on Unbloat

Unbloat was founded by Dr. Shilpa Mehra, a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist, after spending over 14 years helping people reduce their bloat independently.

Although there is a real lack of information about the Unbloat brand online, the brand’s social media seems to have just emerged at the end of 2021, which leads me to believe it was most likely launched then too.

Unbloat Benefits

Unbloat is supposed to help ease bloating, reduce abdominal pain, boost immunity, improve mood, support healthy digestion, improve weight management, and provide bowel regularity.

Unbloat Ingredients

Unbloat contains 40 essential ingredients. However, the company has provided absolutely no information about the ingredients within the formula, the amounts of the ingredients that they do share, or the total amount of the capsules.

The company hasn’t even provided a photo of the full ingredients label!

Instead, the company simply shares information about certain ingredients within the formula and their benefits – this isn’t sufficient.

The fact that Unbloat has decided not to share but to hide the ingredients label and the information about the amounts of each ingredient actively is incredibly concerning – are they hiding something, or do they know that the capsules just don’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients?

Obviously, without knowing what ingredients and how many of the ingredients exist within the capsules, it’s impossible to comment on the formula's efficacy – this makes it very difficult to feel certain whether the capsules will actually be beneficial or not!

However, I’ll be taking a closer look into the efficacy of the capsules later in this review.

First, let’s look at the ingredients the brand has decided to share with us!

Here is the list of Unbloat ingredients that are shown to us:

  • 21 Digestive Enzymes
  • 7 Key Probiotics –Lactobacillus: rhamnosus, plantarum, acidophilus, casei. Bifidobacterium: lactis, longum, bifidum‍.
  • 6 Herbal Remedies –Peppermint leaf, Fennel seed, Ginger root, Turmeric root, Milk thistle, Spirulina algae.
  • 4 Essential Nutrients –Magnesium citrate, Folic acid, L-leucine, Sodium alginate
  • 2 Prebiotic Fibers –SunFiber derived from the guar bean, Inulin naturally occurring in leeks, onions, garlic, and chicory.

How does Unbloat Taste?

Because Unbloat is a capsule supplement, there is no taste associated with the supplement.

Of course, if you hold the capsule in your mouth before swallowing too long, there will be a taste (not a pleasant one!), so try to swallow the capsules straight away.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Unbloat capsules.

However, since the capsules contain a variety of potent ingredients, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consuming them.

Does Unbloat Work?

I have tried several recommended probiotics before, and sometimes without taking them for some time, it's difficult to know how well they're working.

This is the case with the Unbloat formula, too, mainly because there is very little information about the ingredients within the capsules, the amount of each ingredient in the formula, or the overall serving size of each capsule.

This lack of information doesn’t just make it difficult to work out whether or not the capsules will be effective or not, but it’s genuinely concerning.

Because there is such a large amount of information about the Unbloat capsules, it’s unclear what ingredients they contain, whether those ingredients will be sufficiently dosed, and whether the capsules will work.

A supplement brand should always display the amounts of the capsules and the amounts of each ingredient within the capsules, or at least share a photo of the full ingredients label.

However, Unbloat hasn’t done either of these things.

Since all of this information is completely missing, it’s unclear whether the capsules will work or not.

However, I would assume that since the brand has hidden (or at least not provided) this information, it’s likely that many of the capsules' ingredients are not sufficiently dosed.

Although Unbloat capsules may provide benefits since they contain a selection of potent ingredients, I would never consume anything that isn’t properly labeled, and I certainly wouldn’t want to buy a supplement from a company that hides vital information from their customers.

Unbloat Reviews

I normally look on Amazon to see a selection of honest customer reviews about the supplements I review.

However, since Unbloat is not available on Amazon and only through the Unbloat website, I am forced to look at the reviews on the Unbloat website.

It’s important to note that since these reviews are on the brand’s website, they have the potential to be biased.

So, remember to take them with a pinch of salt!

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at some of these reviews.

This is a really good product. I’ve tried probiotics before, but nothing else offers all these ingredients together like this. I love it.5-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Unbloat offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all of its products, even though the product is only available on a subscription option.

Where to buy Unbloat?

You can buy Unbloat from the Unbloat website.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Unbloat contains 60 capsules, which means that as the serving size of the supplement is 2 capsules per day, one tub contains a 30-day serving.

Interestingly, you can only buy Unbloat on a subscription option. However, there are two different types of subscription options.

You can either buy one tub on a subscription or two tubs on a subscription!

One tub costs $49, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.63.

The cost of two tubs is $89, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.48.

Unbloat Verdict

I am in two minds with Unbloat as I would like to have seen a lot more in-depth information about the ingredients. This is missing and to me, this is an oversight that needs looking into.

With the money-back guarantee, it will be possible to try for a month to see how this works before returning if it doesn't. The free Doctor Consultation on offer for subscribers too could be worthwhile too.

If you're struggling with staying regular, reducing gas and bloating, then Unbloat could be your answer.

Noom is a subscription weight-loss app that tracks food intake and exercise habits.

Unlike other weight management and weight loss apps out there, what sets Noom apart is the fact that the app puts focus on mental wellbeing and changing behavior over time.

Noom uses personalization to help you lose weight, get fit, and reach your physical and mental health goals whilst using science and psychology to improve your relationship with food, teach you how to eat mindfully, and understand your habits.

With more than 45 million users worldwide, Noom is an incredibly popular weight loss and health tracking app, and I’m keen to take a closer look at it to see if it really is as powerful and useful as it is made out to be.

If you’re thinking of purchasing a subscription to Noom or you’re also wanting to know more about the app, check out my full Noom review below.

Noom App Review

What is Noom?

Noom definitely looks like an impressive and interesting app. The Noom website itself (not the app), is packed with information about the app, the visuals are great, and the branding is superb!

The app itself is easy to use, the one-on-one coaching looks interesting, the support groups seem beneficial, and the fact that you can choose from different “SOS” plans seems great.

I’m definitely impressed by Noom on first impressions, so I’m looking forward to taking a closer look at it.

Background on Noom

Noom was founded in 2008 by former Google software engineer, Artem Petakov, and businessman Saeju Jeong. The app launched in 2016.

The pair wanted to combine technology with psychology to help people reach better levels of health and wellbeing.

Noom is based in New York and last year (in 2020), research shows that the company made $400 million in revenue. The company hires more than 3,000 people, of which 90% are health coaches.

Noom Benefits

Noom suggests that, unlike other weight loss apps, tracking calorie intake and exercise habits on the app helps you lose weight and get fit indefinitely, hence its motto, “Stop dieting. Get life long results”.

The brand suggests that this is due to the fact that it teaches healthy behavior and focuses on psychology to improve the user’s attitude to health and eating.

What Does Noom Offer?

When you sign up to the Noom, after completing a personalization quiz, the app offers several personalized features.

The app includes features such as daily lessons, one-on-one coaching, SOS plans, calorie tracking lists, exercise habit trackers, and support groups with other app users.

Additionally, alongside the Noom weight loss service, Noom also provides a diabetes prevention program and a stress-relieving service.

Noom Main Screen

How Does Noom Work?

The concept of Noom is quite simple – it provides you with trackers for both the food you eat and the exercise you do, as well as one-on-one coaching and peer support groups.

However, in order to specifically provide benefits to the consumer, the app personalizes all of these features.

When you join the app you have to take a thorough quiz that asks you a variety of questions, including information about your current biometrics, your family history, your relationship with exercise and food, and your weight loss or fitness goals.

After you complete this quiz, Noom tells you how long it will be until you get to your goal weight and then creates a plan for you – this can be anywhere between 1 month to 1 year depending on your personal situation.

Does Noom Work?

Whether or not Noom works really depends on whether you think it would work for you and if you would actually stick to the suggestions of the app.

Noom can tell you to reduce your calorie intake, remind you to exercise, and provide you with valuable information through lessons about diet and movement, but if you’re not going to take action and implement these things into your life, you will not see change.

Even if you have the app, you’re not going to see change if you don't take action.

However, research has shown that 77% of the people who use Noom see weight loss over a 2 year period of using the app.

How much you change whilst you use Noom will make the difference of the app working to provide results and it not.

Noom Reviews

There are reviews of Noom on Consumer Affairs.com that we can take a look at.

The app has 522 reviews and scores an overall rating of 3.2 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

I started Noom through a trial offer through my doctor and have learned so much that I decided to purchase a year to keep learning, growing, changing and finally understanding how to think about food and myself. Life changing, mind changing and lifestyle change that has made me proud of myself. I thought I knew it and tried it all. Try Noom, it will change your relationship with how you think about what and how you eat and think of yourself. Almost 30 lbs gone and more to go but now I feel like it is possible.5-star review

Noom is a fun program that uses Psychology to teach better eating habits. If you’re easily influenced by the power of suggestion the program will work for you. I enjoyed the daily readings. The advice is good and well written. I lost several pounds. The program wasn’t really enough for me to stay with and lose the thirty pounds I needed to lose. I was very successful with a keto diet though. Your own determination will decide what works for you.3-star review

Noom is dangerous. And I cannot recommend this for anyone who is struggling with low self esteem or has in the past showed tendencies for disordered eating (orthorexia, anorexia, bulimia). They categorize foods into good and bad using the red, yellow, green rating. This is a big no for anyone prone to eating disorders and it is the gateway for people that do not have an eating disorder to adapt one. Foods should never be categorized this way. This program favors diet products. Like non-fat yoghurt. Or other fat reduced foods. You get immediately rated red if you choose the natural state of the product with all fat included. Which is also very dangerous as diet products are often overly processed and do not maintain all the nutrients needed.
1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Noom does not offer a money-back guarantee, but you can do a 14 day free trial of the app to see if it suits you before committing to the paid version.

How To Access Noom

You can simply access Noom at Noom.com and download the app from either the App Store or from Google Play.

Is It Worth The Price?

Noom’s pricing is a little bit complicated! When you sign up, after the personalization quiz, the app suggests a plan for you to follow.

Since this plan is different for everyone (from one month to one year), the pricing differs from person to person.

However, a monthly plan costs $59 (or more), and the annual plan costs $199 (or more).

The reason that I’ve added “or more” is because there are in-app purchases, and auto-recurring fees are charged.

For example, a 2-month auto-recurring plan costs $150, and a 6-month auto-recurring plan is $360.

This app is pretty pricey if you are using it for a while, especially because there are extra hidden fees within the app.

However, if you really want to use it, you have the budget for it, and you think it will truly benefit you, it may be worth the price.

Noom Screen

The Bottom Line

Overall, Noom is an intriguing app that may or may not benefit you.

The app certainly has a lot of positives and it’s great that it focuses on mental health and wellbeing, whilst supporting weight loss from a psychology-based point of view.

However, Noom is expensive and unless you actually change your lifestyle the way that app tells you to, it won’t make a difference to you.

After all, if you don’t follow the advice and teachings of the app, you won’t change your weight or fitness level.

If you’re seriously intent on using the app though, go for it!

Inno Cleanse is a digestive aid capsule supplement. It’s supposed to support weight loss, reduce cravings, and improve gut health.

The capsule formula contains potent laxative ingredients, powerful herbal extracts, and different types of fiber, all of which help to flush out toxins and provide the body with a strong ‘cleanse’.

The capsules are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, lactose-free, soy-free, and therefore suitable for a wide range of people!

Inno Cleanse is becoming more and more popular on the weight loss scene, and therefore, I’m incredibly keen to take a closer look at it to see if it really can provide cleaning benefits.

Inno Cleanse

What is Inno Cleanse?

Looking at the Inno Supps website, I’m immediately impressed – it’s aesthetically pleasing, obviously in the fitness niche, and actually contains a substantial amount of information too – it basically ticks all of the boxes.

When it comes to Inno Cleanse, everything still looks promising, but I have to say that I am a little concerned about the fact that it’s essentially a laxative product.

Although these types of formulas may provide benefits short term, in terms of weight loss and reduced bloating, in the long run, they don’t normally provide benefits, and may actually be detrimental to health (and mental health).

Similar supplements I have reviewed you may be interested in:

Background on Inno Supps

Inno Supps first came onto the market in 2019, founded by Kevin Gunderson.

However, since 2009 Gunderson has been working with an expert team of scientists and nutritionists to create the highest quality powdered formulas and capsule supplements.

The main focus for Inno Supps is within the fitness and weight loss niche, with the brand’s best-sellers being the Shred Focus, Night Shred, Protein, and the Inno Cleanse capsules!

Inno Cleanse Benefits

Inno Cleanse is supposed to promote good digestive health, eliminate waste from the body, reduce bloating, help regulate hunger, and aid with weight loss.

The brand also highlights specific ingredients within the formula and the benefits associated with these ingredients. For example, “Fennel Seed – reduces water retention, is a rich source of fiber, and promotes weight loss”.

Inno Cleanse Ingredients

The Inno Cleanse formula contains 11 main ingredients, all of which exist within proprietary blends.

Unfortunately, proprietary blends don’t show the amount of each ingredient within the formula, therefore making it very difficult to work out if it will be effective or not, so that’s not great!

However, I’ll be looking at the efficacy of the capsules later. First, let’s take a look at the ingredient label!

Here is the complete list of the Inno Cleanse ingredients:

  • Waist Trimming Complex – 824mg –Cascara Sagrada Bark Powder, Aloe Ferox Leaves Extract, Senna Leaf Powder, Frangula Bark Powder.
  • Advanced Digestion Complex – 300mg – Fennel Seed Powder, Bentonite.
  • Enhanced Detox – 190mg – Burdock Root Powder, Licorice Root Extract, Slippery Elm Bark Powder.
  • Pro Gut Health Matrix – 40mg – Capsicum Annum L. Fruit Powder, Milk Thistle Seed Powder.
  • Other Ingredients – Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate, Silicone Dioxide.

Here is the supplement facts label:

Inno Cleanse Label

How does Inno Cleanse Taste?

Since Inno Cleanse is a capsule supplement, it doesn’t taste of anything, as long as you swallow it quickly and don’t let it dissolve in your mouth.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Inno Cleanse capsules.

The brand does warn that it should not be consumed by anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone who has known medical conditions, or anyone taking medication.

Does Inno Cleanse Work?

Unfortunately, due to the fact that the Inno Cleanse ingredients label isn’t fully disclosed, due to the fact that the formula contains proprietary blends, it’s difficult to work out its efficacy.

In addition, a large majority of the ingredients within the capsules don’t actually have standard recommended doses, therefore meaning it’s even more difficult to know if these ingredients exist in substantial doses.

Nonetheless, we can take an estimated guess by looking at the amount of each blend and the recommended doses of the ingredients within it.

The formula will promote a cleansing, laxative effect, but it may not provide gut health benefits.

So, let’s first take a look at the Waist Trimming Complex.

The only ingredient within this formula that has a standard daily recommended dose is senna. The recommended dose of senna sits between 300-900mg, and therefore since the blend contains 824mg, the senna in the formula may be sufficiently dosed.

Looking at the Advanced Digestion Complex, the recommended dose of fennel sits between 480-960mg, and therefore since the blend has a total weight of 300mg, it may not be sufficiently dosed.

None of the ingredients within the enhanced detox formula have a standard recommended dose.

However, the milk thistle extract within the Pro Gut Health Matrix does!

The recommended dose of milk thistle extract is 420mg and since the blend only has a weighting of 40mg, it’s clear that it’s nowhere near sufficiently dosed.

It seems as though the laxative-effect ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed and will therefore provide the benefits of the “cleanse”.

However, gut health-boosting ingredients don’t seem to be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula will promote a cleansing, laxative effect, but it may not provide gut health benefits, as the brand suggests.

Inno Cleanse Reviews

Although there are customer reviews on the Inno Cleanse website, they may be biased. Therefore, since the capsules are available on Amazon, we can take a look there to see a selection of reviews that are much more likely to be unbiased and honest.

There are more than 1,500 customer reviews of the product, with it having an overall customer rating of 4.2 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let's take a look at a selection of these reviews!

This product is a game changer! For the first time in years my digestive issues are gone. The bloat, the constipation and the overuse of laxatives have left me miserable. When I say I have tried everything I have. I literally just went to the doctor and they asked me how things were moving along since it's been a 11 year battle. I showed them the bottle and my doctor took a picture of it. I told them now I go 1 to 2 times a day, no cramping. It's literally changed my life. It's a small capsule, easy to swallow, no bad taste or after effects.5-star Review

I would really know how to rate this product cause it works but it’s ridiculous. Me and my boyfriend tried it to loose weight, but it makes you go to the bathroom all day for days and it’s not pleasant (I’ll just leave it at that). I’m pretty sure it’s the safest thing cause you’re going to need a lot hydration taking these pills.3-Star Review

It didn’t work for me. I guess everyone is different. I became constipated and more bloated. I would return for a refund but there are no pills left. I even did the 3 per day option…..nothing. I can’t say it won’t work for you but it’s a negative on my experience. Good luck.1-Star Review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Inno Cleanse doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee. However, you can return unopened products within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, or 20% or less of a used tub within 30 days for a 50% refund.

Where to buy Inno Cleanse?

You can buy Inno Cleanse from the Inno Cleanse website and from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

You can either purchase Inno Cleanse on a one-time purchase or on a subscription. If you choose to purchase a subscription, you will receive 20% off.

One tub of Inno Cleanse contains 30 servings (2 capsules).

If you choose to buy one tub of Inno Cleanse on a one-time purchase, it will cost $39.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.33.

If you subscribe to Inno Cleanse, it will cost $31.99 per tub, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.07.

I wouldn’t say that Inno Cleanse is overly priced since the cost per serving of it is rather cheap.

However, the price of the subscription is definitely more suitable, especially since the formula contains proprietary blends and will therefore potentially not contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

My Final Verdict

The Inno Cleanse capsules may be popular, but I’m not sure if I’d personally choose to consume them or recommend them.

Although certain laxative ingredients within the formula may be sufficiently dosed and therefore provide laxative effects, the ingredients intended to promote gut health are insufficiently dosed and therefore will not support digestive health.

In addition, taking laxative supplements long term doesn’t support good levels of optimum health and may actually be detrimental. If you are looking to take laxatives for a short term cleanse, there are also cheaper options out there.

Overall, if you’re looking for a strong laxative to cleanse yourself, this might be a good supplement for you to take. However, if you really do want long term weight loss and gut support, you should look to other supplements.

Your Super Skinny Protein is a superfood and plant-based protein powder. The formula contains moringa, spirulina, alfalfa, and two types of plant-based protein, with the branding claiming that the formula is supposed to help with weight loss and recovery post-workout.

The formula is available to a wide range of people since it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, non-GMO, suitable for vegans and those on paleo diets. The formula is also USDA-certified organic.

The formula has become incredibly popular over the last few years, so I’m really keen to take a closer look and see if this superfood and protein mix really can provide benefits to the consumer.

Your Super Skinny Protein First Impressions

The Your Super brand is incredibly impressive at an initial glance – the branding is wonderful, the brand story is inspirational, and the supplements look powerful.

I’m also incredibly impressed that the brand uses eco and ethical friendly containers and ingredients for their formulas.

The Skinny Protein looks interesting, especially since it’s a plant-based protein formula and has such a high number of positive reviews!

However, I’m slightly concerned about the fact that there’s very little information about the benefits of the formula and the amounts of the ingredients within it.

So, I’m certainly keen to take a much closer look at it and see how it fares.

Background on Your Super

Your Super was founded in 2015 by couple Kristel de Groot and Michael Kuech. After Michael was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 24, Kristel began to make homemade superfood powder mixes.

The couple realized how powerful the formulas were and decided to start the business to provide others with their potent mixes!

The company is B Corp certified, meaning it is a high-standard business in terms of social corporate responsibility. It’s also partnered with Action Against Hunger and with each product purchased, a life-saving food bar is provided to children in need.

Your Super Skinny Protein Benefits

Your Super doesn’t claim that the formula provides a wide range of benefits, it does state that it will help consumers to lose weight and speed up recovery time after workouts.

Although the brand does specifically single out the ingredients within the formula and provides information about the origins of each ingredient, there’s no information about the benefits associated with each ingredient, which is a shame.

Your Super Skinny Protein Ingredients

Your Super Skinny Protein contains just 5 ingredients in total. Unfortunately, there is no information about the amounts of any of the ingredients within the formula.

Therefore, it’s impossible to know if the formula will actually contain sufficiently dosed ingredients or not, and subsequently whether it will be effective or not.

However, I’ll be taking a much closer look at the efficacy of the formula later on in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Your Super Skinny Protein ingredients:

  • Hemp Protein* (Romania), Pea Protein* (Spain), Moringa* (Tanzania), Spirulina* (Germany) and Alfalfa* Powder (Germany).
    *Organic Certified

Here is the supplement facts label:

Your Super Skinny Protein Label

How does Your Super Skinny Protein Taste?

There are no flavoring ingredients or sweeteners within the Your Super Skinny Protein formula. Therefore, the formula tastes quite pungent and bitter.

However, it’s not overpowering, so the taste can be hidden by other ingredients – pop it in a smoothie, juice, or milkshake if you’re not keen on the taste.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Your Super Skinny Protein formula, and the brand doesn’t provide information about who should and who shouldn’t consume the formula.

I would suggest that those who are taking medication, those with medical conditions, and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Your Super Skinny Protein Work?

The Your Super Skinny Protein ingredients label is not transparent at all – there is no information about the amounts of any of the ingredients within the formula! Therefore, it’s absolutely impossible to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, since we know the serving size of the formula, we can try and take a look at the ingredients within the formula that have standard recommended doses, in order to see if enough of each ingredient actually exists within the blend!

The formula is fairly low in the amount of protein.

The serving size of the formula is 15g. The recommended dose of spirulina is 1-3g, the recommended dose of moringa is 1.6 – 2.2g, and the recommended dose of alfalfa is 5-10g.

Therefore, the minimum standard recommended dose of the ingredients without the protein in the formula is 7.6g. If all of these ingredients were sufficiently dosed, this would mean there would only be 7.4g of protein in the formula.

Typically in protein powders, there is around 20-25g of protein. Therefore, the protein within this formula isn’t very substantial (and that’s if the other ingredients are sufficiently dosed!).

A much better alternative if you're looking for a complete meal that contains a hefty source of protein is Ka'chava.

Overall, although there is a potential for the ingredients in the formula to be sufficiently dosed, the formula doesn’t actually provide a very substantial amount of protein.

In addition, since the ingredients label is not fully disclosed, it’s impossible to actually know for definite whether the formula will be effective.

Your Super Skinny Protein Reviews

Although there’s a wide range of reviews of the Skinny Protein formula on the Your Super website, these reviews could be biased.

So, since the formula is available to buy on Amazon, we can take a look on there to see more honest, unbiased customer reviews.

There are 518 ratings on Amazon and overall, the formula scores 4.3 stars out of 5 stars.

Let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews.

I love this protein powder because the ingredients are incredible! I'm a holistic health coach and look for a protein that has all essential amino acids with no fillers and no added sugar, gluten or dairy. I also love the fact that there are added superfoods to detoxify and support weight loss. The flavor is great in my morning smoothie too! 5-star review

Hate the taste, but a plus is that the powder is very fine and blendable, and not very griddy at all. I use the Skinny Protein in my green smoothies and the aftertaste is super weird and noticeable. I found that if I add a squeeze of honey it cuts the flavor a little bit more and is more drinkable. I can’t imagine using it with minimal ingredients, I definitely need stuff to cut the flavor. And even then I fight through it a little. 3-star review

I don’t understand how this product helps with anything. I’ve had several types and brands of protein and detox powders in the last few years. I add to smoothies as a morning meal. The taste is fine but there is absolutely no sense of satiation or filling quality that most powders have. I was hungry within the hour after the recommended serving. I’m active and fit but overindulged during the holidays. Was hoping this would help kick start a return to good habits, reduce cravings which it mentions as a feature- and lose a couple of pounds. I’m not at all impressed and will not be purchasing again. 1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Your Super offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all of its products.

Where to buy Your Super Skinny Protein?

You can buy the formula from the Your Super website, from Amazon, and from Target.

Is It Worth The Price?

Skinny Protein formula is sold in tubs that contain 26 servings of formula and is sold either as a one-off purchase or a subscription.

One tub of Skinny Protein costs $39.90 on a one-off purchase, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.53.

One tub of Skinny Protein costs $31.92 on a subscription option, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.23.

Although the cost of the formula is fairly inexpensive, the fact that the ingredients label contains no information about the amounts of each ingredient within the formula and the amount of protein within the formula is undisclosed means that I don’t think it’s worth the price that it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

Although I really like the Your Super brand, I’m unimpressed by the Skinny Protein formula.

The fact that the formula’s ingredients label has no information about the amounts of the ingredients in the blend is enough to put me off – I need to know how much of each ingredient exists within a formula if I’m going to consume it!

In addition, I’m still unsure how the formula is supposed to help with weight loss since the brand doesn’t provide a lot of information about the benefits associated with the formula.

In addition, the taste of the formula isn’t great.

Overall, if you’re looking for a powerful superfood formula and you want a dose of protein, I would recommend buying a fully disclosed protein formula and a fully disclosed superfood formula (both of which contain sufficiently dosed ingredients!) and mixing the two – this way, you’re guaranteed to benefit.

Protein World is one of the fastest-growing supplement companies in the UK, with the Slender Blend being a staple supplement right from when the brand was created in 2013.

The Slender Blend formula is promoted as the perfect protein supplement to help you lose weight, burn fat, tone up, and build and repair muscle.

The formula has both an original version that contains whey protein and a vegan version that contains a mix of plant-based proteins (which is great to see for those that are plant-based).

Featuring probiotics, enzymes, and herbal extracts alongside the 23.2g of protein per serving, Protein World markets Slender Blend as the best supplement for added protein and essential micronutrients.

I’m keen to take a closer look at this formula and see if its popular reputation is worth it.

If you’re thinking of purchasing this formula or you’re also intrigued to take a closer look at it, check out my full Protein World Slender Blend review below.

What is Slender Blend?

As mentioned above, Protein World is without a doubt one of the most well-known supplement companies out there, especially in the UK. Therefore, the Protein World website is unsurprisingly sleek, sophisticated, informative, and educational.

A few things I like about the Protein World website are the recipe pages, the blog, and the ‘Protein World Spotlight’ that showcases members of Protein World members and ambassadors.

Looking at the Slender Blend, I’m impressed. The packaging and branding all seem on-brand with Protein World, which grabs your attention.

The only thing I’m slightly concerned about is the fact the formula is marketed as a meal replacement, as I’m a big believer in supplementing and not meal replacing!

It will be interesting to see if this formula does live up to its popular reputation.

Background on Protein World

Protein World was founded in 2013 by Arjun Sejun. Although Protein World was founded and is still based in the UK, the company provides customers worldwide in over 70 countries.

Although protein-based supplements are the brand’s most well-known and popular supplements, Protein World produces over 90 different supplements and products, from weight loss formulas and pancake mix to beauty capsules and multivitamins.

Slender Blend Benefits

Protein World claims that the Slender Blend formula will help you lose weight, tone up, help repair and rebuild muscle, promote a healthy gut, burn fat, and promote overall health and wellbeing.

The brand links specific types of ingredients within the formula to the benefits. For example, “[the formula will] promote a healthy gut – with high fiber content and added pre and probiotics”.

Slender Blend Ingredients

The Slender Blend formula has a wide range of ingredients and is available in either the standard version or a vegan version.

Apart from the flavoring ingredients within this formula, all of the ingredients are fully disclosed, which is great to see.

So, let’s take a look at the ingredients list!

Here is the complete list of the Slender Blend ingredients:

  • Protein World Thermogenic Blend – Guarana Extract (22% caffeine) (100mg), Green Tea Extract (40% polyphenols) (100mg).
  • Protein World Digestive Enzyme Blend – Lactase (3500 ALU) (40mg), Protease (10,000 HUT/g) (25mg).
  • Protein World Friendly Bacteria Blend – Bifidobacterium Bifidum (CFU) (1 Billion Viable Cells), Lactobacillus Acidophilus (CFU) (1 Billion Viable Cells), Inulin (1.6g).
  • Other Ingredients (Original Version) – Whey Protein Concentrate, Skimmed Milk Powder, Natural Flavourings, Protein World Vitamin & Mineral Blend, Sucralose.
  • Other Ingredients (Vegan Version) – Protein World Vegan Protein Blend (Pea Protein, Quinoa Protein, Hemp Protein), Xylitol, Inulin, Natural Flavourings, Protein World Vitamin & Mineral Blend, Salt, Steviol glycosides, Xanthan Gum.

Here is the supplement facts label:

How does Slender Blend Taste?

Slender Blend is available in a wide range of flavors – Vanilla Ice Cream, Milk Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Mint, Strawberry Milkshake, Banana Split, Salted Caramel, White Chocolate & Raspberry, Peanut Butter, Fudge Sunday, Banoffee Pie, and Strawberries & Cream.

The vegan version of this formula is available in Vegan Vanilla, Vegan Chocolate, and Vegan Strawberries & Cream.

Looking at customer reviews, some people really enjoy the taste of the formula regardless of flavor, but some find the formula too sweet.

The people that find it too sweet are most likely referring to the fact that the formula contains sucralose, an artificial sweetener.

Unfortunately, sucralose has been linked to detrimental health effects such as inflammation and diabetes.

However, the vegan version is sweetened with stevia, which is a healthier alternative.

Side Effects

Protein World states that the formula contains allergens that are highlighted on the packaging in bold, and also states that anyone who is on medication, breastfeeding, or pregnant should consult a doctor before consuming this supplement.

I would just add that if you have a medical condition or you’re under 18 years old, you should seek medical advice before consuming the formula.

Does Slender Blend Work?

The Slender Blend formula contains a number of essential vitamins, minerals, and a selection of other ingredients, with each ingredient being fully disclosed.

Due to the fact that the amounts of each ingredient are shown, the consumer knows what’s in the formula and what they’re consuming, and it makes working out the efficacy of the formula easy.

The formula definitely contains a substantial amount of protein, but the other ingredients are just missing the standard recommended doses.

This formula contains 23.2g of protein which is a substantial amount of protein for a supplement.

The recommended amount of protein per day is 0.36g per pound of body weight. Therefore, for the average man, this is 56g per day and for the average woman this works out at 46g per day.

Therefore, the amount of protein in this formula is nearly half of a man’s daily recommended protein amount. So, this is definitely a useful amount of protein to consume.

Looking at the other ingredients in the formula, they seem to just miss the recommended doses, at least for the ones that do have standard recommended doses.

For example, the recommended dose of green tea extract is 250-500mg, and the formula contains 100mg per serving of green tea extract, therefore just missing the recommended dose.

The recommended dose of guarana extract is 200-1600mg, and the formula contains 100mg per serving of guarana extract, therefore once again just missing the recommended dose.

My other issue is the fact that the brand uses sucralose to sweeten the formula, which can be detrimental to health, and the fact that there’s 7.8g of sugars per serving concerns me massively.

Overall, the formula definitely contains a substantial amount of protein, but the other ingredients are just missing the standard recommended doses and therefore may not provide the full range of benefits that they would if they were sufficiently dosed.

Slender Blend Reviews

Slender Blend is available on Amazon, and therefore we can take a look on there at unbiased customer reviews. Overall, the formula scores 4.3 stars out of 5 stars, from 844 customer reviews.

So, let’s take a look at a selection of these reviews.

Can never fault Protein world! I have already used their products and therefore this is everything I expected! Delicious taste, easy to use! Comes with the scoop and a good price! Already seeing results! 5-star reviewer

Product is fine, but doesn't come with a scoop. So “add 4 yellow scoops” as a measurement doesn't really work. 3-star reviewer

This is sickingly sweet! I really struggle to drink this, I've tried adding water instead of milk to try take the extreme sweetness off but it hasnt helped. I bought the vanilla flavour. Taste nice but the sweetness is just unbareable and this is coming from a sweet tooth!!! I would not buy again. 1-star reviewer

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Protein World offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on all unopened products. This is rather disappointing considering many brands offer refunds on opened tubs!

Where to buy Slender Blend?

You can buy the formula from the Protein World website, from Amazon, and from stores such as Boots and Holland and Barratt in the UK.

Is It Worth The Price?

You can buy either a 1/2 month supply, a 1 month supply, or a 2 month supply of Slender Blend. You can also either sign up for a subscription or buy the product as a one-time purchase.

Obviously, if you sign up for a subscription, the price of the formula reduces.

To keep things simple, we’re going to take a look at the 1 monthly supply of Slender Blend, as most other supplements are sold in 1-month bundles.

On a one-time purchase, a 1 month supply of Slender Blend costs $69.99, which works out at a cost per serving of $2.33.

On a subscription, a 1 month supply of Slender Blend costs $29.99, which is a huge price reduction! On a subscription, the cost per serving of the formula goes down to $1.00.

Clearly, the subscription option is significantly cheaper, so if you know that you like the formula, it’s best to purchase it on a subscription!

The formula is fairly priced, in my opinion, due to the fact that it has a fully disclosed ingredients label and contains 23.2g of protein per serving.

However, I’m still concerned about the sucralose in the formula that could cause detrimental health benefits.

Slender Blend: My Verdict

Personally, I know that I wouldn’t purchase this formula if I was looking for a protein and micronutrient supplement.

The main reasons why I don’t like the formula are that it has a high sugar content that contains sucralose, and some of the ingredients within the formula aren’t sufficiently dosed.

Although there are some great benefits to this formula, such as the wide range of flavors, the substantial serving of protein, and the popular customer reviews, I believe there are better, more natural protein supplements out there.

Therefore, I wouldn’t purchase this product and would instead choose to look elsewhere.

I would prefer to mix a more natural, sucralose-free protein powder with a super greens formula to reap more benefits from a singular drink.

ProbioSlim has a unique twist on the traditional probiotics supplement in that it's primarily a diet supplement that claims to also help people shift stubborn fat.

I have been researching probiotic supplements recently and so this brand has caught my attention. Also, a visitor did ask if I can take a look at Force Factor ProbioSlim too.

Although, I very rarely review weight loss supplements though because I believe most of them have exaggerated claims with little science to support their claims. That said I have reviewed a similar product before, Bio X4, that also claims to be probiotic weight loss supplement.

So, here is my ProbioSlim review, where I take an in-depth look at this digestive diet supplement that claims to be the answer to gut health and a slim waist.

ProbioSlim Bottle

Probioslim First Impressions

Supplements combining weight loss and probiotics are not that common, which is surprising considering the link between digestive health and weight.

ProbioSlim combines both prebiotics and probiotics, a few fig and fruit extracts, alongside green tea extract, to help support digestive health as well as aiding weight loss.

From a quick glance at the label, the formula is not exactly mind-blowing, and I am unconvinced it would do much to encourage fat loss. Although the inclusion of patented probiotics compound this formula may help to re-address the balance of good bacteria in the gut.

Other probiotic formulas I have reviewed:

Background on Force Factor LLC

Force Factor is a nutrition supplement company that claims to help unleash your full potential.

They are based in Pennsylvania in the United States, with also a presence in Canada and Australia, and have been in business since 2009 when two former Harvard University rowers founded the company.

The brand appears to be mostly aimed at guys as they stock a number of testosterone boosting supplements, alongside Nitric Oxide (N.O.) boosters, fat burners, male health, and probiotics.

I counted over 40 different brands in total!

Although the company has an outstanding rating on the Better Business Bureau, the makers of ProbioSlim (NutraClick) did receive warnings from the FTC in 2016 for deceptive billing practices in the form of automatically billing customers each month.

ProbioSlim Ingredients

ProbioSlim combines digestive and weight loss ingredients in one proprietary formula that’s called LS3664 Whole Health Superblend.

LS3664 Whole Health Superblend 544.00 mg:
LactoSpore Bacillus coagulant, Super EGCG Green Tea Leaf Extract (Camellia sinensis) (50% EGCG), Green Tea Leaf Extract(50% Caffeine), Kiwi Extract (fruit) (Actinidia deliciosa), Fig Extract (fruit) (Ficus carica), Papaya Extract (fruit) (Carica papaya), Chlorophysllin, Sodium Magnesium.

Now, the use of proprietary blends means we don’t get to know the exact breakdown of the formula and the weight of each ingredient. We just know the total weight of the formula, which is 541mg (the ingredient label is below).

ProbioSlim Ingredients label

How to take ProbioSlim?

It's easy to take this supplement as each daily serving of ProbioSlim is two capsules. You take one capsule at breakfast, and one capsule with lunch. There are no additional recommendations so as you would take any supplement, we took these with water.

Side Effects

The supplement should be safe for most people but it’s worth mentioning the caffeine content here. It’s unclear how much caffeine is inside each capsule and so if you’re sensitive to this stimulant you may wish to be wary. You should also be mindful of over caffeine sources you consume during the day too.

Sometimes probiotics can cause mild digestive complaints too but these tend to be short-lived and occur if you’re not used to consuming them.

Does ProbioSlim Work?

Force Factor make strong claims with their ProbioSlim supplement, saying;

Combines one of the most efficacious and resilient probiotic strains with advanced weight management ingredients for holistic healthy living.

I am keen to assess just how effective ProbioSlim really is, so I take a look at the three main ingredients in the formula, the compound LactoSpore, Super EGCG Green Tea Leaf Complex, and caffeine in the form of another Green tea extract.

Probiotic bacteria

LactoSpore is a patented compound produced by Sabinsa Corporation which has been shown to ease symptoms associated with occasional diarrhea, constipation, gas, and bloating.

Whilst Sabinsa has studies confirming the significance of their patented probiotic compound, it's not clear in what dosage that ProbioSlim uses and if how this compares to the original research.

Green tea leaf extract has been accredited with a number of health benefits but the most popular one has been helping weight loss, and the reason they are found is so many diet supplements (Source).

Looking closer at the research there are studies that show consuming a green tea extract capsule containing 50 mg of caffeine and 90 mg of EGCG can increase fat burning for 24-hours Source). This has led to support for the weight loss properties of these ingredients.

The effect on weight loss is not massive though and only shown when consuming green tea extract capsule and caffeine in certain dosages. We don't know how much of these ingredients are present in the ProbioSlim formula.

For me, this highlights a big question mark on the effectiveness of this formula.

Rolled green tea leaves

The rest of the formula is mainly fiber, but considering the serving size, the amount of fiber is not likely to be that high.

To assess how well the ProbioSlim formula works we would need to know the ingredient weights within the blend and because they are not revealed it's impossible to know for sure.

ProbioSlim Reviews

I took a look at the third-party reviews on Amazon to see how customers got on with ProbioSlim.

So far 849 customer ratings have given an overall 3.8 out of 5 stars for ProbioSlim, which isn’t too bad.

As is often the case with diet supplements, results are very mixed from customers. Here is a selection of some of the feedback.

If you have digestive issues AND want to lose weight … worth the money but be prepared to blow out your bathroom within an hour of eating. 5-star review

The hype did not match up to the product. I really have not seen a great difference since using it. 3-star review

After two weeks of taking these as directed and eating healthy, I have not lost any weight. 1-star review

Money Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

The official website has a “money-back guarantee” badge in the footer but I struggled to find any information about the conditions.

Checking through the terms and conditions I could see that any return requests need to be authorized first by calling their phone number and only after receiving an RMA number can they be returned. As to how much money you get back is not clear.

Where to buy ProbioSlim?

You can buy ProbioSlim online from the official website and also from their Amazon store.

Other third-party retailers also stock Force Factor supplements, such as Walmart and GNC being popular options.

Is It Worth The Price?

The cost of one bottle of ProbioSlim is pretty steep, costing $69.99 for 60-capsules. That’s a whopping $2.33 per day working out to be over $1 per capsule!

For such an expensive supplement I would expect more and wouldn’t be willing to spend this amount of money.

On the plus side though it's 30% cheaper than Bio X4 from Nucific!

My Verdict

I am not persuaded by the marketing of ProbioSlim and in my opinion, it’s simply too expensive for a formula we just don’t know how effectively it’s dosed.

The proprietary blend means we can’t be sure of effective dosages and I am not convinced the inclusion of green tea extract is going to shift the fat as claimed.

For the price, I would much prefer opting for either a dedicated probiotic or an all-around health supplement that provides nutrients to support a healthy diet (check out superfoods containing probiotics).

As with most diet supplements I believe this is very much the case of over-marketing and under-delivering. ProbioSlim would not make it onto my supplement wish list.

The benefits of Apple cider vinegar are well known, mostly for its reported weight loss properties. The thing is if you have ever tried drinking Apple Cider Vinegar, you know it’s not a pleasant experience.

This is why Goli Gummies Apple Cider Vinegar has been gaining widespread popularity (and from their Facebook marketing budget!), in fact, in the US, there is gummy mania at the moment.

Their visibility exploded when Goli was featured recently on the hugely popular Ellen Degeneres Show, where Ellen shares the “truth” of how delicious the gummies are.

The concept of taking a gummy instead of a capsule/pill or powder is a novel one – but can you really consume enough ACV in just a gummy to actually work? It feels like I am snacking on sweets, but I will take them for a few days and report back on my experience with Goli Gummies in my honest review.

My Goli Gummy purchase

What are Goli Gummies?

Claiming to be the World’s first Apple Cider Vinegar Gummy, I am keen to see if the claims match the product, so I ordered a bottle of Goli gummies to be shipped over to Malaysia, where I live.

It took a few weeks to arrive, and I was excited to see how this looked and, importantly, how it tasted.

Unboxing the Goli gummies was a good experience, as the branding and packaging are really nice. You can see in the picture below what you get inside; your bottle of Goli, the introduction to Goli pamphlet, and why Goli is better than your traditional apple cider vinegar (ACV) supplement.

Unboxing goli gummies Apple Cidar VinegarUnboxing goli gummies (Photo by Lifehacker Guy)

Upon opening the bottle, you can immediately smell an apple candy aroma that is actually pretty nice.

This was my first time taking a gummy supplement, and I expected it to taste sweet. And was I right – Goli Gummy is very tasting, a bit too nice – but more on this later.

Their marketing slogan of tasting the apple, not the vinegar, is spot on!

Background on Goli Nutrition Inc.

The about us page gives a little background on the team behind Goli Gummies other than they are a “people-focused nutrition company”. The rest of the information goes off on the importance they place on their customer's happiness whilst on their healthy journey.

Of course, using their Goli gummies gives you a little helping hand as they are an easy way to take and integrate into your daily life – sounds perfect, eh?

Okay, so cynicism aside, Goli Nutrition Inc is based in California. Although we do not know the team behind it, they do have an advisory board of “top nutritional advisors.” These include Mia Syn (MS, RD), Dr. Nichol Korner-Bitensky (Ph.D.), and Dr. Heidi Regenass (MD).

The company takes social responsibility seriously, too as each order support Vitamin Angels, a global organization that reduces malnutrition in children by giving them access to lifesaving vitamins and minerals.

Which Gummy? Goli produces several supplements and so if you're unsure which goli gummies are the best then check out my article.

Goli Gummy Ingredients

Goli Gummy supplement label

Each bottle of Goli Gummy contains 60 gummies, which could last one month, depending on your daily consumption.

There are five main ingredients in each gummy, two of which are Vitamins B9 and B12.

The gummies are vegan, vegetarian, kosher, and 100% gluten-free. So, pretty much anyone can take these, including children (but the recommendation is only once per day).

Let’s check the Goli formula:

  • Apple Cider Vinegar (5% acetic acid) (500mg) – The main reason for the popularity of apple cider vinegar is because of the health properties of the main active compound in vinegar, acetic acid. These include reducing inflammation, lowering blood pressure, and keeping blood sugar spikes at bay (see more about the benefits of ACV in the box below).
  • Organic Beetroot (40mcg) – Popular superfood that contains fiber, vitamins and minerals. There is a tiny amount in these gummies and so not really too sure of the benefits here.
  • Organic Pomegranate (40mcg) – Although they contain a generous amount of nutrients and bioactive plant compounds, the amounts are small and so unclear as much, if any, benefit from having this inside.
  • Vitamin B9 (200mcg DFE / 120mcg Folic Acid) 50% daily value – This vitamin is also called folate or folic acid and plays an important role in human growth and development.
  • Vitamin B12 (1.2mcg) 50% Daily value – An essential vitamin that helps with energy and this in turn makes it easier to stick with your exercise and weight loss goals.

As to be expected, the main ingredient is Apple Cider Vinegar at 500mg per gummy. Taking two gummies would provide 1,000 mg (1 gram) of ACV, equating to 50mg of acetic acid – the amount considered 1 shot of ACV.

What’s so special about Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Apple Cider Vinegar is a popular superfood that comes with a great series of health benefits. Although mostly known for its weight loss properties, ACV has been shown to aid digestion, contain detoxifying properties, and improve the skin. In fact, the probiotic features of ACV have turned it into a cult necessity for the wellness community.

The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar is thought to have a direct role in controlling appetite and helps increase fat burning by helping to break down fat and increase the enzyme responsible for fat burning.

If you’re looking for more detailed information on the benefits of ACV then I suggest taking a look at this article on Healthline.

How to Take Goli Gummies

The Goli team recommended taking 2-4 gummies daily for optimal results. You can take up to a maximum of 12 gummies per day.

There is not necessarily any best time to take your Goli Gummy, with the suggestion being to take between 2 and 6 per day whenever suits you best.

How Do Goli Gummies Taste?

Goli gummie Candy

Very yummy. The gummies really are delicious. They were a hit with my sweet tooth!

I found it super easy to eat 5-6 within a short amount of time.

Whilst this sounds great, the problem is if you’re consuming a maximum of up to 12 per day, you will soon run out!

The other issue is the sugar content.

With each gummy having 1 gram of sugar, you can soon find you’re consuming 12 grams really easily. So, this isn't going to suit some nutritional plans like the Keto diet.

Side Effects

There are unlikely any side effects from taking Goli gummies at the recommended dosage. Looking at the research, it seems that side effects, such as unpleasant digestive complaints, only seem to occur when consuming large amounts (see Healhline).

Common issues like tooth enamel and throat burns will not be the case when eating a gummy compared to drinking apple cider vinegar.

This is one of the main benefits of a gummy over apple cider vinegar drinks.

Do Goli Gummies Actually Work?

I only took Goli gummies for a few days, so I cannot tell myself if these worked.

Mention the science behind the weight loss benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar, and you are taken to one of the most referenced study in 2009 that used 144 Japanese subjects.

This famous study took place over 12 weeks with 144 obese Japanese adults who were split into three groups. One group drank 15ml of vinegar, and another 30ml of vinegar, whilst the remaining group consumed a placebo each day.

The study concluded that consuming 1 or 2 (15-30ml) tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in your diet can help weight loss. In addition, it can also reduce your body fat percentage, make you lose belly fat, and decrease your blood triglycerides.

When I look into a particular supplement, I am always keen to compare actual studies proving actual benefits to the amounts seen in the supplement. On most occasions, the supplement has insufficient ingredients to match those seen in the studies.

I was keen to see if this is the case with Goli Gummies.

How Much Acetic Acid inside each Goli Gummy?

I wanted to know if enough acetic acid is inside Goli Gummies to match the amounts used in this study. Here are my calculations for this using the formula I found here.

250ml of vinegar12 grams of acetic acid
1ml of vinegar48mg of acetic acid
15 – 30 ml720mg – 1440mg of acetic acid

Each goli gummy: 500mg of vinegar = 25mg of acetic acid (5% of acetic acid)

The amount of acetic acid used in the study amounted to between 750 and 1,500mg, which is equivalent to 30-60 Goli gummies. So, if you’re looking for weight loss, you would need to consume 1/2 bottle of ACV gummies to consume sufficient acetic acid for the study.

Yes, you are reading this right. 30 Goli gummies per day, crazy, eh?

Doing some simple maths, I discovered that you would need to consume at least 30 Goli Gummies to match the amount of acetic acid used in the studies they quote on their website.

You would need to consume AT LEAST 30 Goli Gummies to have the amount of acetic acid found in the research they quoted – to get the benefits listed on their website!
[UPDATE FEBRUARY 2020] I have been contacted by Goli nutritional advisory board member, Dr. Nicol KORNER-BITENSKY, who pointed out an error with my maths. I am waiting for feedback on this to update my review.

Goli Customer Reviews

Social media is awash with Goli's gummy testimonials. I can't seem to escape from seeing Goli Ads on Facebook and Instagram.

The official website has a few testimonials, for example:

These Goli Gummies really are the whole package. Vegan, gluten-free, and tastes like apples. Best way to take apple cider vinegar. Henry.

I checked out Amazon reviews too (728 current reviews), here is a selection from customers:

The Goli Gummy is so good! I could not stand the apple cider vinegar shots I was taking. The taste was horrible! With Goli, I look forward every day to my gummies. Five stars

Every since the day I started using this product my appetite has increased, especially for sweets. Stopped using it and back to normal. Might just be me but….no thanks. Three stars

I was hoping it would help with digestion. I have almost finished the whole bottle and haven’t noticed any difference yet in any way. I was really hoping these would work as well as drinking ACV, but nothing yet. One star

Money Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

A 30-day refund policy applies to both unopened and opened bottles of Goli. You would need to contact them directly and ship the bottle back to them.

This only applies to orders placed directly from the official website.

Where to Buy Goli Gummies?

You can buy Goli gummies online from the official website.

Are Goli Gummies Worth the Price?

Each bottle of Goli Gummies costs $19 for 60 gummies and although there are 1, 3, or 5-bottle bundles available, there is no discount for multi-tub purchases.

The big plus is the free worldwide shipping, which was very impressive considering they shipped my bottle all the way to Malaysia!

With each gummy costing 32 cents ($19/60), taking up to 12 per day will cost you $3.84 per day, which then adds up to over $100 USD per month – making this a costly supplement.

taking up to 12 per day will cost you $3.84 per day, which then adds up to over $100 USD per month – making this a costly supplement.

So judging if Goli Gummies are worth the price depends on your consumption. Take 2-4 per day as per the recommended optimal dosage and it’s a good value supplement costing $19-38 per month. Taking more each day, is very easy to do, and you could be spending a small fortune on these yummy gummies!

Furthermore, if you want to consume enough acetic acid to have significant benefits, you would need to swallow at least 1/2 tub of Goli each day – making this a VERY EXPENSIVE supplement indeed!

Goli Gummies: The Bottom Line

Would I recommend Goli Gummies? The simple answer is no.

The branding is great, tastes even better, and will certainly be a hit for many people looking for a sweet, healthy treat.

If you regularly take Apple Cider Vinegar and struggle with the taste, I can see these gummies' appeal. Personally, I have never been too interested in taking apple cider vinegar so these aren't for me. I prefer drinking a daily greens powder that I know has a good quantity of ingredients in a quick 30-seconds each day.

Goli gummies are super easy to take, a little too easy actually, and before long, you’ll find your bottle empty and reach for a new one. Remember that if you want to consume enough acetic acid too, you'll need a LOT of bottles of Goli to hand!

It’s worth keeping in mind that many of ACV’s health and weight loss claims are not supported by science and are by no means a miracle cure, but it certainly has a following in the health community.

It was great to give Goli Gummies a try, there is no doubt this supplement will be even more popular and most likely kick-start a supplement gummy craze (if not already).
