Bulletproof Greens Review: Ingredients, Dosages, Serving Costs

Bulletproof Greens are the latest supplement from the biohacking company Bulletproof. Promising to fuel your body and mind, I find out if this mix of 35 superfoods, vitamins, minerals and digestive aids, plus nootropics, is the real deal.

Bulletproof Greens is a powder supplement that you mix with water and helps to provide your daily vegetable intake.

This green is a little different from most greens, though, as it contains nootropics as well, similar to my Supergreen Tonik.

If you're considering trying this supplement, read my Bulletproof Greens review as I delve into the ingredients in the formula and their dosages, serving costs, and whether this brand can keep you on your A-game!

What is Bulletproof Greens?

Bulletproof Greens is the latest supplement from Bulletproof and contains ingredients they claim help fuel your body and mind so you can stay on your A-Game.

The greens are available in powder form in a 30-serving jar or individual sachets (15 packets per box).

As you would expect from Bulletproof, the branding is strong and gives you the confidence that this product is the real deal.

Although I am a huge fan of this brand, after a closer look at the supplement label, I was a little letdown, can you guess why?

I go into why I believe the ingredients could have been better in my ingredients section.

Background on Bulletproof

Bulletproof Nutrition Inc was founded by a charismatic biohacker, entrepreneur, and author Dave Asprey in 2017.

His success with his first supplement Bulletproof Coffee and the Bulletproof diet has grown the Bulletproof range of supplements to include bars, drinks, MCT oils, proteins, and other supplements.

Bulletproof Greens Ingredients

This is where we reveal how good any supplement really is, by checking over the ingredients to see what's inside, and also what's missing.

I like to look at the serving size to get an idea of how much good could be inside. With Bulletproof Greens, the serving size is 7.9grams, which is not too impressive considering other top brands have 12-gram serving sizes (AG1, Supergreen Tonik).

The 7.9gram serving size is on the tiny size, especially considering competitors typically have 12 gram servings – 36% more

That said, I like the fact that this formula looks to cram fever ingredients into their formula but instead focuses on key nutrients.

The formula includes a “vegetables and fruit powder” blend, “superfood and mushroom complex” blend, “nootropics” blend, “digestive aids” blend, along with several vitamins and minerals added.

Here is the complete list of Bulletproof Greens ingredients:

  • Vegetables and Fruit Powder (2,037mg) – Organic Spinach, Organic Kale, Broccoli, Organic Celery, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Kelp, Organic Cucumber, Limes, Lemons, Organic Blueberries and Organic Strawberries
  • Superfood and Mushroom Complex (1,570mg) – Spirulina, Chlorella, Green Tea Extract, Acai Berry, Acerola Cherry Extract, Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps Extract
  • Nootropics (450mg) – Citicoline and Panax Ginseng Root Extract (4% Ginsenosides)
  • Digestive Aids (320mg) – Bacillus coagulans (LactoSpore®) 20mg, 2 billion CFU Digestive Enzymes (BioCore® Optimum Complete) Amylase (3,500 DU), protease (21,000 HUT), protease (4,000 PC), alpha-galactosidase (150 GaIU), glucoamylase (9AGU), lactase (1,000 ALU), protease (50 SAPU), invertase (400SU), lipase (500 FIP), acid maltase (14 MaltU), peptidase (2AP)
  • 10 Vitamins and Minerals

Here is the supplement facts label:

Supplement facts label

Tip: If you struggle to decipher the nutritional facts on supplements then it's worth heading over to my how to read supplement labels article.

How does Bulletproof Greens Taste?

Preparing Bulletproof greens powder is straightforward, you mix one scoop with 8-12 oz. of water and shake thoroughly. As with most greens taste better with cold water and during the morning to give you benefits throughout the day.

The taste has a slight pineapple flavor that some customers say is a little sweet.

It's worth keeping in mind that taste is very subjective though and can be difficult to hide the bitterness of some ingredients.

Side Effects

You will unlikely suffer from any side effects when consuming Bulletproof Greens unless you're particularly sensitive to or allergic to Stevia leaf.

As with any supplement, if you have any pre-existing medical condition or are taking prescription medication then you should first seek medical advice before taking this brand.

Do Bulletproof Greens Work?

The supplement claims to fuel your body and mind with the 35 carefully chosen ingredients in the formula.

The problem is that when I look to work out effective this supplement can be is most of the ingredients, apart from the vitamins and minerals, all the ingredients are within proprietary blends and so we don't know the individual weights of each one.

… it's impossible to know if they are dosed sufficiently. If not dosed enough, then the health benefits may not be as claimed!

We do not know the ingredient weights in any of the proprietary blends and so it's impossible to know if they are dosed sufficiently. If not dosed enough, then the health benefits may not be as claimed!

For example:

According to Healthline, you need between 1 and 3 grams of Spirulina per day to get the health benefits of this algae, the “superfood and mushroom complex” is only 1.57grams!

It's possible that Spirulina is dosed with 1gram, but if so then ALL the remaining ingredients in the blend are VERY underdosed.

The same goes for Cordyceps Extract, in that you need over 1gram per day to see the benefits according to the science (source).

The end result is that both the “Vegetables and Fruit blend” and “superfood and mushroom complex” will most likely be underdosed and so not provide all the benefits claimed by the company.

The nootropics blend contains Citicoline that is a popular ingredient in popular nootropics supplements in dosages ranging from 500mg to 1gram and so is a little under the recommended dosage (source).

Probiotics any good in this formula?

The “digestive aids” blend contains a range of digestive enzymes and gut-friendly bacteria.

Although most greens powders like to include probiotics and digestive enzymes in their formula, I remain unconvinced about how effective they really are.

I have spoken to manufacturers who produce supplements and they have told me that because probiotics can be very unstable that including them in multi-ingredient formulas could mean they offer little benefit to the consumer.

I have researched why greens powders with probiotics may not be a good idea but also may be the cause of greens supplements causing bloating.

The bottom line is that Bulletproof greens have some great ingredients that are science-backed but are likely to be insufficiently dosed.

This means you may not get the benefits claimed by Bulletproof!

Bulletproof greens difference

I would argue that the first claim made by the statement “bulletproof greens difference” is questionable if you look at the issue of ingredient dosages.

Bulletproof Greens Reviews

I checked out the reviews on both the official website and on the Amazon listing. There are clearly superfans of the Bulletproof brand, and I can see why they do produce great products.

It's a really new supplement and so they aren't many reviews at the time of me reviewing Bulletproof Greens, but here is a selection.

I’m a huge fan of Bulletproof so I was ecstatic to see that they were moving into the greens space. I’ve been taking a different (cough cough and much more expensive) brand for over a year now and couldn’t be more thrilled already with this product.5-stars

tastesIt just OK. It tastes very sweet, and yet doesn't quite cover the underlying bitterness. Unsure if I will continue with this product.Supriya, 3 stars

I wish Bulletproof had clearly indicated the stevia was used to sweeten the Greens. After buying a container of Greens and further investigating of the ingredients I realized the reason for not feeling well. Margaret, 1 star

The negative feedback is mostly concerning the sweetness and the inclusion of stevia for natural sweetening, but this is fairly common practice to use either stevia or monk fruit in greens powders because the bitterness of many of the ingredients makes them unpalatable.

Of course, if you're not a fan of stevia then this product is not going to be for you.

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Every supplement from Bulletproof is covered by a 30-day returns policy. This is a standard policy and not particularly generous especially considering some brands over 90-days, even one-year money-back guarantees!

Where to buy Bulletproof Greens?

You can buy Bulletproof greens directly from the Bulletproof online shop here, it's also available through Amazon.com.

Shop Bulletproof Greens

Is It Worth The Price?

Every single jar of Bulletproof Greens costs between $35.96 and $44.95, you get a 20% discount if you use the subscribe and save option.

If opting for the subscription version you can choose whether you wish to replenish your green every 2 or 12 weeks, with the recommended option being 4-weeks.

… the serving size is only 7.9 grams compared to popular competitors being 12 grams – so Bulletproof greens serving size is 34% smaller than my recommended greens powder!

Each jar contains 30-servings and so the per-serving cost ranges from $1.19 to $1.49 – this is very cost-effective for a greens powder.

However, it's worth keeping in mind that the serving size is only 7.9grams compared to popular competitors being 12 grams – so Bulletproof greens serving size is 34% smaller!

The powdered greens are also available in individual packets (15-packets per box) for a one-off cost of $27.95 or $22.95 on a subscription.

Individual packets are always more expensive due to more material and labor costs incurred, and so each packet works out to be between $1.53 to $1.86.

Verdict on Bulletproof Greens

I am a big fan of Bulletproof Nutrition but I feel that their Greens supplement falls short and could have been so much better.

As you would expect, the branding is top-notch and exudes quality, but when you delve into the ingredient dosages these are almost all under-dosed.

The serving cost is good and will be within reach of most people's budget but with each serving being 34% smaller than alternatives like AG1 and Supergreen Tonik, you may just not be getting enough of the nutrients to support the claims.

In summary, great branding and the price is affordable but just is lacking in dosages and may not pack the punch required from a solid greens brand.

The formula is supposed to help support nutrition, digestion, and immunity.

Ultragreens is dairy-free, vegan, non-GMO, and contains organic ingredients (although it is not USDA certified).

The Go Life is a popular supplement brand, and since the Ultragreens is one of the brand’s most recently created products, I’m keen to take a closer look at it.

What is Ultragreens?

The Go Life website looks great – it’s clean, smart, visually pleasing, and bright.

However, there’s a lack of information on the site, especially regarding the products it sells, which is a shame.

The Ultragreens formula itself looks appealing, but it’s already concerning to me that it is made up of proprietary blends.

Additionally, there’s not a lot of information about the benefits of the formula or the ingredients within it.

So, it will be interesting to take a closer look at the formula.

Similar supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on The Go Life

The Go Life was founded in 2017 by athletes Alex Cesaria V. and Adam Greenfeld who wanted to create natural supplements that support performance and everyday life.

The Ultragreens formula is one of the brand's most recently produced formulas, but it is most well-known for its BCAA Energy + Recovery formula.

Ultragreens Benefits

There’s actually pretty much no information about the benefits of the Ultragreens formula on the Ultragreens website.

This is a real shame because it’s completely unclear what the formula is actually going to do.

Overall, the brand claims that the formula is supposed to just support nutrition, digestion, and immunity.

Ultragreens Ingredients

The Ultragreens formula contains a wide range of ingredients.

However, unfortunately, all of them exist within proprietary blends, meaning it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, making it incredibly difficult to work out the formula's efficacy.

Although, I will be taking a closer look at the formula's efficacy later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula.

Here is the complete list of the Ultragreens ingredients:

  • Great Grains Blend – 1.25g –Brown Rice Bran Powder, Organic Flax Seed Powder, Barley Malt Powder.
  • Herbal Blend – 1g –Organic Alfalfa Powder (leaf), Parsley Powder (leaf), Bee Pollen Powder, Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus) Powder (root), Aloe Vera Powder (leaf), Astragalus Powder (root), Ginkgo Biloba Powder (leaf), Green Tea Powder (root), Licorice Powder (root), Milk Thistle Powder (seed), Peppermint Powder (leaf), Royal Jelly Powder, Schisandra Powder (berry), Stevia Extract Powder (leaf).
  • Sea Vegetable Blend – 900mg –Spirulina Powder, Alaria Powder, Chlorella Powder, Dulse Granules, Eklonia Powder, Sea Whistle Powder, Pacific Kelp Powder.
  • Fruit Blend – 785mg –Apple Pectrin Powder, Pineapple Powder, Grape Skin Extract, Acerola Juice Powder.
  • Green Grass Blend – 700mg –Organic Barley Grass Powder, Organic Kamut Grass Powder, Organic Oat Grass Powder, Organic Rye Grass Powder, Organic Wheat Grass Powder.
  • Vegetable Blend – 265mg –Beet Juice Powder, Broccoli Powder, Rhubarb Juice Powder, Spinach Powder.
  • Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) – 98mg
  • Other Ingredients-Silica

Here is the supplement label:

How does Ultragreens Taste?

The Ultragreens formula isn’t flavored but it is sweetened with stevia extract formula, meaning it will be sweet.

There are positive reviews about the taste of the Ultragreens formula. However, all of the reviews about the formula are positive and on the brand’s website – therefore, they may be biased!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Ultragreens.

Although, I would suggest that you consult a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition before you consume the formula.

Does Ultragreens Work?

Unfortunately, the Ultragreens formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, and all of the ingredients exist within proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s completely unclear how much of each ingredient resides within the formula, making it impossible to determine its efficacy.

However, we can look at the amount of each blend and compare it to the combined recommended dose of the ingredients within the blend to make an estimated conclusion of whether the formula contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Looking at the Herbal Blend, it’s clear that the blend cannot contain sufficiently dosed ingredients since the blend totals 1g and the combined recommended dose of ginseng, ginkgo Bilbao, and royal jelly totals 1.34g.

It’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula can be sufficiently dosed.

Looking at the Sea Greens blend, it’s clear that this formula also doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients since the blend totals 900mg but the combined recommended dose of just two ingredients, spirulina and chlorella, totals 2g.

The Greens Grass blend also can’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients since the blend totals 700mg, but the recommended dose of wheatgrass alone is 3g.

Overall, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula can be sufficiently dosed.

Ultragreens Reviews

Since the Ultragreens formula is not available on Amazon, which is where I typically look to see unbiased reviews of the supplements I review, I will have to look at the reviews of the formula on The Go Life website.

There are only 5 reviews of the product on The Go Life website, all of which are positive.

Before taking a look at these reviews, it’s important to understand that these reviews do have the potential to be biased since they’re on the brand’s website.

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at these reviews!

Normally super greens supplements lack a good taste but this product does not sacrifice it at all. In addition, it's easily digestible and doesn't bother my stomach. A great product that gives you all of the minerals and nutrients of a super green product that also tastes great and is easy on the digestive system. Highly recommend.5-star review

There are a lot of these on the market but this one was great. I didn't feel bloated and it tasted really good. I've been using it for about a week and I already feel like I am treating my body better.5-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

The Go Life doesn’t provide a money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with any of the Go Life products, including the Ultragreens formula, you have to return it unopened within 30 days to qualify for a refund.

Where to buy Ultragreens?

You can buy Ultragreens from The Go Life website.

Is It Worth The Price?

Each tub of Ultragreens contains 24 servings; you can buy the tub on a one-off purchase or on a subscription option.

On a one-off purchase, one tub of Ultragreens costs $24.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.04.

On a subscription, one tub of Ultragreens costs $22.46, meaning the cost per serving works out at $0.94.

Although the formula is reasonably inexpensive, since it doesn’t provide sufficiently dosed ingredients and doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, I don’t think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

Unfortunately, although the formula might look impressive, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is mostly because the formula doesn’t have a disclosed ingredient label and likely does not contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Therefore, the formula might not actually provide benefits – not that the brand has spoken about many anyway!

Therefore, if you’re looking for a super greens powder that is actually going to provide benefits, I would recommend looking elsewhere and choosing one that has a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Kencko Greens

What is Kencko Greens?

I really like the Kencko website – it’s super vibrant, nicely branded, packed with nice visuals, and even has an informative blog.

The Kencko Greens formula, and all of the “Smoothie” formulas in general, actually look great.

Although there’s not a lot of information about the ingredients within these formulas, the branding of the pouches is great!

So far, so good! I’m definitely excited to take a closer look at the formula to see if it really can provide benefits, or if it just looks good.

Kencko was founded in 2019 by Tomás Froes after he used a plant-rich diet to get rid of his acute gastritis.

Kencko Greens Benefits

Kencko Greens is supposed to improve energy levels, reduce inflammation, improve gut health, boost energy levels, and fight fatigue.

The brand specifically mentions a few of the ingredients and the benefits associated with them. For example, “ Iron from spinach is a natural fatigue-fighter”.

Kencko Greens Ingredients

Kencko Greens contains just 7 ingredients.

Unfortunately, there is absolutely no information about the amount of the ingredients within the formula = there’s only a nutrition label on the pouches.

This means that it’s completely unclear if the ingredients are sufficiently dosed and impossible to know if the formula will actually be effective or not.

How does Kencko Greens Taste?

There are positive reviews about the taste of Kencko Greens and all of the Kencko Smoothie formulas.

However, since there is 13g of sugar in each pouch serving, it’s likely that the formula will taste pleasant!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Kencko Greens.

Although, as always, I would suggest that you consult a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition, before you consume this formula.

Does Kencko Greens Work?

Although there is a nutrition label on the Kencko smoothie pouches, unfortunately, there is no information about the amounts of the ingredients within the formula.

Therefore, it is completely unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula and whether or not the ingredients will actually be sufficiently dosed to provide the benefits that the brand claims they will.

However, the fact that each pouch provides a 22g serving is a good sign – it may have the ability to provide substantially dosed ingredients.

There’s absolutely no indication that the formula will provide health benefits and it’s packed with an incredibly high dose of sugar.

Although, the main concern I have about this formula is the fact that it contains 13g of sugar.

This is an incredibly large amount of sugar and therefore, these smoothie pouches may actually be detrimental to health by raising blood sugar levels and potentially leading to weight gain.

Overall, there’s no indication that the formula will provide sufficiently dosed ingredients or health benefits, and it’s packed with a high dose of sugar.

Kencko Greens Reviews

Unfortunately, there are no reviews about Kencko Greens on Amazon or on other third-party websites.

Therefore, we will have to take a look at the reviews on the Kencko website.

Unfortunately, there are no specific reviews about Kencko Greens, but there are reviews about the smoothie pouches overall.

However, it is important to understand that since these reviews are on the brand’s website and therefore may be biased.

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Kencko doesn’t provide a money-back guarantee. The brand states that if you want to return the first box of gummies or smoothies, you can, and “depending on your needs, we can help you with a refund, store credit, or replacement”.

Where to buy Kencko Greens?

You can buy Kencko Greens from the Kencko website.

Is It Worth The Price?

Each pouch of Kencko Greens contains one serving that creates one smoothie!

You can either buy bundles of 20 pouches, 30 pouches, or 60 pouches.

When you order, you get automatically signed up for a subscription – if you only want one bundle, you will have to cancel the subscription.

20 pouches of Kencko Greens costs $59.80, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.99.

30 pouches of Kencko Greens costs $80.70, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.69.

60 pouches of Kencko Greens costs $149.40, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.49.

Since there’s no information about the amounts of the ingredients within the formula and there is so much sugar in each pouch, it’s unlikely that this formula will provide benefits.

Therefore, it’s incredibly expensive for what it is!

My Final Verdict

Although Kencko Greens is definitely a trendy looking supplement, I don’t think it’s actually going to be beneficial!

Unfortunately, the formula doesn’t have a disclosed ingredients label, is overly priced, and contains 13g of sugar per serving.

Therefore, I don’t think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold for!

If you’re looking for a super greens powder that is actually going to provide benefits, I would look elsewhere.

I advise you to choose a greens powder that actually has a fully disclosed ingredients label, doesn’t contain sugar (or contains only a small amount of sugar), and is made from a bigger variety of greens ingredients!

Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens Tub

What is Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens?

I really don’t like the Cobionic website – it’s outdated, overly colorful, too vibrant, and lacking real information. The only positive part of this website, for me, is the fact that the site contains an informative blog about nutrition and wellness.

Looking at the Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens, I’m once again, not very impressed.

Although the branding looks fine and there’s slightly more information about the product on this page, it still doesn’t look impressive, and I’m concerned about the fact the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label.

Similar supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on Cobionic

Although there’s information on the Cobionic website that states the brand was created by someone called “Rupali Shinde”, there’s no information anywhere else online about this, and all other information shows that Cobionic was founded in 2017 by entrepreneur, Louise Hendon.

This seems a little strange – I wonder if Rupali Shinde is a cover story?

Although some Cobionic products, such as the Chocolate Collagen, are popular, there’s actually not a lot of interest in the Vibrance Daily Greens, which seems odd considering the company is in the INC 500 and supposed to be popular.

Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens Benefits

The Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens formula is supposed to boost energy levels, support the immune system, improve gut health, reduce inflammation, and provide a number of essential micronutrients to the consumer.

The brand also provides information about the benefits associated with some of the most potent ingredients within the formula.

For example, “Alfalfa Leaf – Studies have confirmed that the antioxidant properties of Alfalfa Leaf can reduce cell death and DNA damage caused by free radicals. It’s also been shown to help lower blood sugar and cholesterol levels, and improving overall metabolic health”.

Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens Ingredients

Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens contains more than 50 ingredients, all of which, unfortunately, exists within proprietary blends.

Supplements containing proprietary blends make it impossible to know how much of each ingredient actually exists within the formula, therefore making it incredibly difficult to work out the efficacy of a formula.

However, more on that later!

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula!

Here is the complete list of the Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens ingredients:

  • Probiotic Blend – 3.5 Billion CFU –Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus.
  • Superfood, Antioxidant, and Mushroom Blend – 2.6g –Alfalfa Leaf, Carrot, Wheatgrass, Spinach, Spirulina, Broccoli, Tomato, Beet, Cucumber, Brussel Sprout, Cabbage, Celery, Kale, Asparagus, Green Bell Pepper, Cauliflower, Parsley, Organic Banana, Coconut Juice Powder, Pomegranate, Blueberry, Blackberry, Raspberry, Cranberry, Pineapple, Concord Grape, Cherry, Apricot, Orange, Strawberry, Camu Camu Fruit, Reishi Mushroom, Shitake Mushroom, Maitake Mushroom.
  • Nutrient-Dense Natural Herbs and Extracts – 1.2g –Acacia Gum, Acerola Cherry Extract, Turmeric Root, Green Tea Leaf, Cinnamon Bark, Eleuthero Root, Ginger Root, Enzyme Treated Stevia Extract, Mangosteen Extract, Ashwagandha Root, Korean Ginseng Root.
  • Prebiotic Fiber and Digestive Enzyme Complex – 406mg –Apple Fiber, Inulin (Chicory Root Ext), Fingal Amylase, Fungal Protease, Glucoamylase, Lipase, Cellulase.

How does Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens Taste?

The Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens formulated doesn’t contain natural flavorings, but it is sweetened with stevia leaf extract.

Since there are only positive reviews of the formula, it’s likely the formula tastes pleasant.

However, since there are only two reviews, the positive taste of the formula can’t be confirmed!

Overall, reviews concerning the taste of the formula are all positive.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens formula.

However, I would suggest consulting a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition, before consuming this formula.

Does Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens Work?

Looking at the ingredient label and immediately I am concerned about dosages, especially with a whopping 50 ingredients in such a tiny serving size of 4.4grams.

Unfortunately, the Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens ingredients label is not fully disclosed, and it is made up of proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula and this makes it incredibly difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, we can take a look at the amounts of the blends and compare that to the combined standard recommended doses of the ingredients within these blends.

The Superfood, Antioxidant, and Mushroom Blend totals 2.6g, but since the combined recommended dose of wheatgrass, spirulina, and reishi mushroom is 4.5g, it’s clear that these ingredients, and very likely others within the blend, are not sufficiently dosed.

I am concerned about dosages, especially with a whopping 50 ingredients in such a tiny serving size of 4.4grams!

The Nutrient-Dense Natural Herbs and Extracts Blend totals 1.2g, but since the combined recommended dose of turmeric, ginger, ashwagandha, and green tea leaf totals 2.5g, it’s clear that not all of these ingredients are sufficiently dosed either.

Neither of the other blends contains ingredients with recommended doses, and therefore, they can’t be compared.

Overall, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens formula are sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.

Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens Reviews

However, since Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens is not available on Amazon, I clearly can’t take a look on there to see honest customer reviews of the product!

Both of these reviews are 5-star reviews, but it’s important to bear in mind that since these reviews are on the brand’s website, they may be biased!

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at both of these reviews.

Where to buy Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens?

You can buy Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens from the Cobionic website and Walmart.

Is It Worth The Price?

Each tub of Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens contains 30 servings of formula.

You can either buy the formula on a one-off option or on a discounted subscription option.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens costs $39.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.33.

On a subscription, one tub of Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens costs $33.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.13.

Although the formula is fairly inexpensive, I can’t say that it’s worth the price that it’s sold at due to the fact that it has an undisclosed ingredients label and not all of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed.

My Final Verdict

Overall, I would not recommend Cobionic Vibrance Daily Greens.

Firstly, I find it strange that the company is being, or doesn’t seem to be being, 100% transparent about its origins – I always look for companies that are transparent and open, and unfortunately, this one doesn’t seem to be.

Secondly, the formula doesn’t have a disclosed ingredients label, is made of proprietary blends, and not all of the ingredients are sufficiently dosed. Therefore, the formula might not actually be effective.

Third and finally, the formula isn’t overly cheap – if it was, I may recommend it as a good choice for those on a budget. However, since it’s not, I can’t!

I would recommend choosing a different super greens formula that actually provides sufficiently dosed ingredients and will definitely provide benefits.

What are JuicePlus+ Fruit and Vegetable Capsules?

I’m definitely not impressed by the Juice Plus website – although it’s vibrant, colorful, and there’s a substantial amount of content on there, it’s outdated and definitely looks like an MLM company.

Looking at the Fruit and Vegetable capsules, I’m also not impressed – the branding is tired, there’s a lack of information about the capsules (specifically the benefits of the capsules), and the capsules’ ingredients label looks concerningly underdosed!

Similar supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on Juice Plus

Juice Plus was founded by Jay Martin in 1970 and has been a multi-level marketing company that produces health and wellbeing supplements and products since.

Although the company does have a certain amount of supporters (which could potentially be the people involved in the MLM aspect of the company), there are a number of complaints against the business and many questions about whether or not the company is legit.

Juice Plus Benefits

There isn’t actually a lot of information about the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules, produced by Juice Plus. In fact, there’s barely any information about it.

However, the brand has produced clinical papers and articles about the ingredients within Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules, stating that they will help to improve overall health and wellbeing by providing essential micronutrients.

Juice Plus Ingredients

Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable are two different types of capsule supplements, combined into a bundle package, meaning they have different ingredients labels.

The capsules contain a wide range of ingredients, and although there are two different ingredients labels, (which is odd), the main ingredients label is fully disclosed.

Therefore, it’s clear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, which is great.

So, let’s take a look at both the Juice Plus Fruit and Juice Plus Vegetable Capsule ingredients labels, be forewarned, there are a LOT of ingredients in each capsule!

How does JuicePlus+ Fruit and Vegetable Capsules Taste?

Due to the fact that these are capsules, there is no taste associated with them.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

However, I would suggest consulting a doctor before consuming these capsules if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition.

Does Juice Plus Capsules Work?

Strangely, there are two different types of ingredients labels shown on the Juice Plus website for the Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

However, fortunately, one of these ingredients labels shows a disclosed ingredients label.

If this is the correct ingredients label, then we can clearly work out the efficacy of the formula.

Not many of the ingredients within the capsules actually have standard recommended doses. In fact, in the Fruit Capsules, only two of them do.

The beetroot and cherry extract within the formula are the two ingredients that do have standard recommended doses.

Unfortunately, neither of these ingredients is sufficiently dosed.

The dose of beetroot powder within the capsules is 45mg, and the recommended dose of beet powder is 5g.

The dose of cherry extract in the formula is 50mg, and the recommended dose of the cherry extract is 2,500mg.

It’s clear that not only do these capsules not include sufficiently dosed ingredients, but the amounts of the ingredients within them are incredibly small, meaning they’re very underdosed.

Unfortunately, the same goes for the Juice Plus Vegetable capsules – it’s clear that the ingredients within these capsules are also not sufficiently dosed.

Let’s take a look at some of the ingredients with standard recommended doses within these capsules.

There’s 15mg of spirulina in the capsules and the recommended dose of spirulina is 1-3g.

There’s 15mg of garlic powder in the capsules and the recommended dose of garlic is 400mg.

There’s 10mg of beets, but again, the recommended dose of beet powder is 5g.

It’s clear that not only do these capsules not include sufficiently dosed ingredients, but the amounts of the ingredients within them are incredibly small, meaning they’re very underdosed.

Therefore, it’s unclear if the capsules will actually be effective.

Juice Plus Reviews

Although Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable Capsules are not very popular on Amazon and are currently sold out there, there are reviews of the capsules on there that we can take a look at.

I normally take a look on Amazon to see honest reviews of the supplements I review, because they’re less likely to be biased or manipulated.

There are 65 customer reviews of the formula, with an overall rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews.

Juice Plus (JP) is a Great product; Many people don’t eat all the vegetables and fruits, that we should & JP provides a great alternative. It explains on each JP what they are, have in them, and which you need, if it’s anti- oxidents, to proteins; Taking a couple capsules vs. eating a fruit or veggie that I know I don’t like , is a WIN WIN situation. I feel better, have more energy & know it’s good for my health.5-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

The brand states that they “offer a 100% money-back guarantee on your last shipment that was received in the last six months”.

However, the brand does say that if you return any other opened supplements, apart from the first one, they will not provide a refund.

Where to buy Juice Plus Capsules?

You can buy Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules from the Juice Plus website, and from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

Each bottle of Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules contains 120 capsules, providing 60 servings per bottle, or 120 servings for both bottles.

You can’t buy the supplement as a one-off option – it’s only available on a monthly subscription. Additionally, the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules are bought together, as a bundle.

You can buy the bottles on a recurring monthly payment of $86. The cost per serving works out at $0.71 per type of capsule.

Therefore, the daily cost per serving of both the Fruit and Vegetable capsules works out at $1.42.

The brand doesn’t provide a lot of information about how and when you can stop the recurring monthly payment, unfortunately.

Although it may sound inexpensive, since the ingredients in the capsules are not sufficiently dosed and it’s unclear how you can leave the monthly contract, I don’t think these supplements are worth the price that it’s sold at!

Juice Plus Verdict

I don’t think the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules are worth it, for a number of reasons.

Firstly and most importantly, the capsules don’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients and therefore, they may not provide benefits.

Secondly, the capsules are only available to buy if you sign up for a monthly subscription and it’s unclear how to get out of the monthly contract after you’ve signed up.

Finally, if you are wanting to truly experience the benefits of fruit and vegetable supplements, choose a powdered supplement instead of a capsule supplement – capsule supplements rarely, if ever, contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Overall, I wouldn’t suggest purchasing Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules – I would suggest choosing a different, sufficiently dosed, powder supplement.

PaleoValley is a super greens formula that contains herbal extracts, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes.

The brand specifically produces paleo-friendly supplements, and the Supergreens formula specifically doesn’t contain grasses, as the brand believes grasses cause inflammation.

PaleoValley Supergreens is also USDA-certified organic, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, and non-GMO.

There aren’t many paleo-friendly specific greens powders on the market, and since this is a popular one, I’m keen to take a closer look at it to see if it can deliver.

What is PaleoValley Supergreens?

I’m not overly impressed by the design of the PaleoValley Supergreens website – it’s a little basic and not exactly eye-catching. However, the website does contain adequate information about the company and its products.

The PaleoValley Supergreens formula looks promising, but I am a little concerned that there isn’t a great range of super greens ingredients.

There are more herbal ingredients than greens, which seems odd considering it’s called a super greens formula.

I’m excited to take a closer look at the formula to see what it’s made of!

Similar supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on PaleoValley

PaleoValley was founded in 2017 by husband and wife Chas, Autumn Smith, and Chas’s brother, Matthew.

Autumn Smith suffered from digestive issues as a young adult, and research led the couple to try a paleo diet.

Moving to a paleo diet resolved Autumn’s digestive issues, and that’s exactly why the couple’s company now provides fully paleo-friendly supplements!

The Supergreens formula is single-handedly the most popular supplement produced by the company.

PaleoValley Supergreens Benefits

PaleoValley doesn’t actually provide information about the overall benefits of the formula.

Instead, the brand states that the formula will provide the benefits of a typical super greens powder but without the “inflammation” that grasses cause.

However, the brand provides information about the individual ingredients' benefits within the formula.

For example, “Organic Broccoli contains phytochemicals that support healthy joints, immune system health, vision, skin health, blood pressure, blood sugar imbalance, and more”.

PaleoValley Supergreens Ingredients

PaleoValley Supergreens contains 27 main ingredients in total.

Unfortunately, all of these ingredients exist within proprietary blends, which means it’s incredibly difficult to determine the efficacy of the formula.

However, I’ll be taking a closer look into the formula's efficacy later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of PaleoValley Supergreens ingredients:

  • All Organic Superfood Complex – 3,464mg –Kale Leaf, Broccoli Whole Head, Spirulina Algae, Spinach Leaf, Kale Sprout, Cabbage Head, Cauliflower Head, Collard Greens Leaf, Parsley Leaf, Sprouted Broccoli Seed.
  • Organic Antioxidant Complex – 2,536mg –Turmeric Rhizome, Acerola Cherry, Carrot Root, Ginger Rhizome, Lemon Fruit, Strawberry Fruit, Raspberry Fruit, Blueberry Fruit, Beet Root, Tart Cherry Fruit, European Elderberry Fruit, Cranberry Fruit.
  • Isomaltooligosaccharide (IMO) Prebiotic (from non-GMO Vegetable Starch) – 1,210mg
  • Digestive Enzyme Complex – 40mg –Protease, Amylase, Cellulase, Lactase, Lipase.
  • Other Ingredients –Organic flavors, Siraitia grosvenorii Fruit (Monk Fruit Extract), Himalayan Pink Salt.

Here is the supplement label:

PaleoValley Supergreens Label

How does PaleoValley Supergreens Taste?

The PaleoValley Supergreens is flavored “Organic Strawberry Lemonade With A Touch of Mint”.

The formula is naturally flavored and sweetened with stevia extract, one of the best natural sweeteners.

Reviews concerning the taste of the formula are mixed – some people enjoy the taste of the formula, and others think it’s overly sweet and bitty!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the PaleoValley Supergreens formula.

However, I would always suggest consulting a doctor before consumption if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition.

Does PaleoValley Supergreens Work?

Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within the PaleoValley Supergreens formula exist within proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, making it impossible to work out its efficacy indefinitely.

However, we can look at the total amounts of the blends and compare this amount to the combined standard recommended doses of the ingredients within that blend.

The All Organic Superfood Complex totals 3,464mg, and the combined standard recommended dose of the spirulina and broccoli powder is 3,100mg.

Therefore, there is a potential that the ingredients within this formula could be sufficiently dosed. Although, it doesn’t leave much room for the other ingredients to be substantially dosed.

The formula may have the potential to contain some sufficiently dosed ingredients, but not all of them can be sufficiently dosed.

The Organic Antioxidant Complex totals 2,536mg, and the combined standard recommended dose of turmeric, tart cherry extract, and ginger totals 3,000mg.

Therefore, not all of the ingredients within this blend have the potential to be sufficiently dosed.

The other ingredients within this formula do not have standard recommended doses.

The formula may contain some sufficiently dosed ingredients, but not all can be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, not all of the ingredients within the formula may not provide benefits.

PaleoValley Supergreens Reviews

PaleoValley Supergreens is available to buy on Amazon, and therefore, we can take a look at a selection of customer reviews on there!

Generally, looking on Amazon for customer reviews is safer than looking on a brand’s websites for reviews since they are less likely to be biased or manipulated.

There are 225 customer reviews of the formula, with an overall rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews.

I love this! I’ve been looking for a green powder for awhile and this one is perfect for me. I’m never a fan of the taste of any green powder I tried, but I blend it in my smoothies in the morning and don’t notice the taste. I love that they don’t have any grasses or sweetener in the green powder (which is hard to find). This stuff gives me more energy and makes my skin glow with consistent use.5-star review

Is It Worth The Price?

One pouch of PaleoValley contains 30 servings of formula, and you can buy 1, 3, or 6 pouches. The formula is also available on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option.

So, let’s look at a few of the different price options available!

On a one-time purchase, one pouch of PaleoValley Supergreens costs $59.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.00.

On a one-time purchase, six pouches of the formula cost $287.94, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.60.

On a subscription, one formula pouch costs $56.99, meaning the cost per serving works out to $1.90.

On a subscription, six pouches of the formula cost $273.54, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.52.

Although certain ingredients within this formula do have the potential to be sufficiently dosed, the formula is overly priced, in my opinion, since it doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label and doesn’t contain a wide range of potent greens.

PaleoValley Supergreens Verdict

Overall, I think the PaleoValley Supergreens formula is great in several ways – it’s USDA-certified organic, gluten-free, packed with herbal extracts, and suitable for a wide range of people.

However, I’m not keen on the fact that the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, and it’s clear that not all of the ingredients have the potential to be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula’s ingredients may not actually be effective in how the formula claims they will. The formula is also fairly expensive compared to other formulas on the market!

Although the PaleoValley Supergreens formula might be beneficial, I recommend purchasing a formula with a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely containing sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Overall, I would look elsewhere if you’re looking for a powerful greens formula.

Enso Supergreens is a powdered super greens formula that also contains probiotics, prebiotics, and herbal extracts. The formula is supposed to improve digestion, boost immunity, support longevity, and more.

Enso Supergreens is suitable for a variety of people – it’s USDA certified organic, dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, and vegan. It’s also made in California.

Enso Superfoods is a relatively new supplement company on the market, but it’s growing rapidly, so I’m keen to take a closer look at the Enso Supergreens formula to see if it really can provide the benefits the brand claims it will.

Did Enso Supergreens make it into my best greens powders I recommend?

Enso Supergreens Pouch

What is Enso Supergreens?

My first impression of the Enso Superfoods website is extremely positive – I really like the brightness, the visuals, and the overall clean look of the site.

Although there are not tonnes of informative content on the site, the brand does provide a sufficient amount of information, both about superfoods in general, and the specific products it produces.

Looking at the Enso Supergreens formula, again, I like the clean, simple, smart branding.

However, I am a little concerned by the fact that the ingredients label is not fully disclosed – it’s going to be interesting to see whether the formula really is effective or not.

Similar supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on Enso Superfoods

Enso Superfoods was founded in March 2020 by brothers, Andrew Beltran and Ryan Beltran.

The brothers are also founders of Original Grain, a watch company based in San Diego, but decided to dive headfirst into the world of supplements at the beginning of 2020.

The Enso Supergreens formula is the best-selling formula that the brand sells, but they also produce a Vitaly and a Recharge formula.

Enso Supergreens Benefits

Enso Supergreens is supposed to improve digestion, boost immunity, and support longevity.

Although the formula as a whole doesn’t have a long list of benefits associated with the greens powder, the brand also provides information about the benefits of certain ingredients within the formula.

For example, “Chlorella is rich in Vitamins A, B, C, Iron and Folic Acid that stimulates the immune system, blood pressure, cholesterol, detox and digestion”.

Enso Supergreens Ingredients

Enso Supergreens contains 25 ingredients in total.

Unfortunately, all of these ingredients exist within a proprietary blend, meaning the ingredients label is not fully disclosed and it’s unclear how much of each ingredient actually resides within the formula.

However, I’ll be taking a much closer look into the efficacy of the formula later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of Enso Supergreens ingredients:

  • Art of Enso Supergreens Blend – 10,758mg –Spirulina Powder, Chlorella Powder, Whole Leaf Wheat Grass, Nettle Leaf Powder, Burdock Root, Alfalfa Leaf, Whole Leaf Barley Grass, Barley Grass Juice Powder, Broccoli Powder, Nopal Cactus Powder, Dandelion Leaf, Kale Powder, Oat Grass Juice Powder, Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder, Probiotic Complex (Lactobacillus Adidophilus, Lactobacillus Casei, Bifidobacterium Bifidum, Bifidobacterium Lactis), Enzyme Complex (Papin, Bromelain, Vegetarian Pepsin), Kelp Powder, Dulse Powder, Ginger Root, Organic Peppermint Oil.

Here is the supplement label:

Enso Superfoods label

How does Enso Supergreens Taste?

The Enso Supergreens formula doesn’t contain any sweeteners, but it does contain peppermint oil to give it a minty flavor, similar to other greens like Supergreen Tonik.

Since this is the only flavoring ingredient within the formula, the formula likely has a potent taste, due to the fact that it’s packed with super greens and herbal ingredients. For some, this may be enjoyable, but for others, it might be a little too natural tasting!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Enso Supergreens formula.

However, since the formula provides a range of potent ingredients, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Enso Supergreens Work?

Since the Enso Supergreens formula doesn’t actually tell you everything that's inside their formula. This is because all of the ingredients exist within one large proprietary blend, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient actually resides in the formula.

Therefore, it’s very difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula.

The only thing we can do is take a look at the overall amount of the proprietary blend and compare this to the combined amount of the ingredients within the formula that have standard recommended doses.

Although the formula may have the ability to be effective, it’s still unclear whether it will be, since the ingredients label is not fully disclosed.

The blend totals 10,758mg.

The combined recommended dose of spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass, matcha powder, nettle leaf, and ginger root (all of the ingredients with the standard recommended doses), totals 8.9g.

Therefore, it does seem as though the formula does have the ability to provide sufficiently dosed amounts of these ingredients.

However, since this has not been fully confirmed by the brand, and since it’s unclear the amounts of the other ingredients within the formula, this can’t be confirmed to be true.

Overall, although the formula may have the ability to be effective, it’s still unclear whether it will be.

Dosages are key

Most greens powders, including Enso Supergreens, do not tell you the individual ingredient dosages and so could under dose on the key ingredients.

That's a big issue if you're looking for a greens supplement that actually works as marketed.

You may think that some ingredients, no matter what the dose, is better than nothing. Somewhat true, but then for just a few dollars more you can get a supplement that actually delivers.

For example, I compared Enso supergreens vs Supergreen Tonik (my product) in this post.

Enso Supergreens vs Supergreen Tonik

Enso Supergreens Reviews

I typically take a look on Amazon for a selection of unbiased, honest customer reviews of the supplements I review.

However, since Enso Supergreens is not available on Amazon, I have to take a look at the reviews on the Enso Superfood website of this supplement!

Obviously, it’s important to note that since these reviews are on the brand’s own website, and therefore, they do have the potential to be biased.

There are 18 customer reviews of the formula, with an overall rating of 4.9 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews.

I always added spirulina and other supplements into my breakfast smoothies and I am glad I came across Supergreens that offer me all I needed in one. They are upfront about all of their ingredients and certifications. I will definitely keep buying, great product!5-star review

Where to buy Enso Supergreens?

You can buy Enso Supergreens from the Enso Superfoods website.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Enso Supergreens contains 22 servings of formula, and you can either buy the formula on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of Enso Supergreens costs $49.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $2.27.

On a subscription, one tub of Enso Supergreens costs $39.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.82.

Unfortunately, I don’t think this formula is worth the price that it’s sold at, even though it may contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, simply because it’s expensive in comparison to other super greens formulas out there, and it doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label.

Overall, I don’t think the Enso Supergreens formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.

Enso Supergreens Verdict

Overall, I think Enso Superfoods, as a brand, and the Enso Supergreens formula, in particular, have the potential to be okay greens powder.

I have two issues with the Enso Supergreens formula that would stop me from buying it.

Firstly, although the formula does have the potential to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label and therefore its efficacy can’t be confirmed.

Secondly, in comparison to other super greens formulas on the market that do have fully disclosed ingredients labels and do contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, it’s fairly expensive.

Therefore, overall, if you’re looking for a powerful greens formula that is definitely going to provide you with sufficiently dosed ingredients and therefore health benefits, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

If you have been or are currently looking for a super greens powder, you will have likely come across Beyond Greens and Athletic Greens AG1 whilst on your search.

Whilst Athletic Greens is definitely the more popular super greens powder out of the two, they both have similarities whilst also containing different ingredients, having different price points, different tastes, and, obviously, different brands behind them!

If you’re stuck trying to choose between the two, you might be unsure about which one to go for, or you might just be keen to take a closer look at both of these supplements alongside each other to see which one is better!

Well, you have come to the right place.

In this review, I’m going to be taking a look at Beyond Greens and Athletic Greens AG1, comparing them closely in several important areas to see how they perform and come to a conclusion as to which one is best.

What Is Beyond Greens?

Beyond Greens is a super greens powder produced by Live Conscious, a brand that was previously known as LiveWell.

The greens formula contains many ingredients, including mushrooms, herbal ingredients, and adaptogens.

However, the formula hasn’t a wide range of traditional greens ingredients.

Live Conscious claims that Beyond Greens boosts the immune system, improves the functioning of the gut, increases energy levels, and more.

The formula is made in the USA and is vegan, soy-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, keto-friendly, paleo-friendly, and non-GMO.

Although there may not be a wide range of super greens ingredients within the formula, it’s good to see that the formula does have a fully disclosed ingredients label and doesn’t contain any proprietary blends.

Before we take a deeper dive into the Beyond Greens formula, let’s first take a look at the overall pros and cons.

Livewell Beyond Greens review

Pros

  • Has a fully disclosed ingredients label.
  • Suitable for a wide range of people since it’s vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, etc.
  • Contains a range of herbal ingredients and mushrooms.

Cons

  • Doesn't contain many super green ingredients.
  • Not all of the ingredients are sufficiently dosed.

What Is Athletic Greens AG1?

Athletic Greens is one of the most popular super greens formulas on the market and it only seems to be getting more popular.

The Atheltic Greens formula, now known as AG1, was first released by the brand in 2008 and had since then produced an estimated revenue of between $20-$50 million.

AG1 was the official super greens formula the USA cycling team used in 2019.

AG1 contains 70 impressive all-natural ingredients, including a wide range of whole super greens, probiotics, prebiotics, adaptogens, and enzymes.

However, unfortunately, all of these ingredients exist within proprietary blends, therefore meaning it’s unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula and whether they will be sufficiently dosed.

Before we take a closer look at the formula though, let’s look at its overall pros and cons.

Athletic Greens (AG1) Pouch

Pros

  • Contains 75 ingredients.
  • Suitable for many since it’s vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, etc.
  • Tastes good.
  • Incredibly popular.

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Made using proprietary blends (no fully disclosed list of ingredients).
  • More expensive than other formulas on the market.

Comparisons: How does Athletic Greens compare to other powdered greens?

Beyond Greens Vs Athletic Greens Benefits

Beyond Greens

Beyond Greens doesn’t have a huge list of benefits associated with it as a formula. However, the brand does provide both a list of the overall benefits of the formula and a list of the benefits of each individual ingredient.

Overall, the formula is supposed to promote a healthy immune system, support and improve gut health, push toxins from the body, and increase energy levels.

More specifically, the brand claims that each ingredient provides its own benefit(s). For example, the brand claims that Rhodiola Rosea can help you relax, improve mood, reduce fatigue, and improve exercise performance.

Athletic Greens

Much like the Beyond Greens formula, Athletic Greens provides information about both the overall benefits of the formula and the benefits of each ingredient in the formula.

Overall, Athletic Greens claims that the formula will help to boost the immune system, push toxins from the body and protect cells from radical damage, improve the digestive system, reduce stress and anxiety levels, improve physical performance, and enhance nutrient absorption.

More specifically, the brand claims that each ingredient provides its own benefits.

For example, “Alfalfa is a nutritional powerhouse – it represents a rich source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A as beta-carotene (plant form), vitamin E, and vitamin K2, plus B-vitamins”.

Beyond Greens Vs Athletic Greens Ingredients

Beyond Greens

Beyond Greens contains 14 main ingredients, the amounts of which are all fully disclosed on the supplement’s ingredients label.

Unfortunately, apart from a low dose of chlorella (it’s 500mg below the standard recommended dose – check here for the best optimally dosed chlorella supplements), the formula doesn’t contain any standard super green ingredients – this is a real shame since it’s marketed as a greens powder!

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at the other ingredients in the formula!

The Beyond Greens serving size is a very small 3.8g and unfortunately, this doesn’t seem like a substantial serving size to hold a sufficiently dosed amount of each ingredient within the formula.

Moreover, certain ingredients within the formula do have standard recommended doses, and the amount within the formula does not match up to the standard recommended doses.

Therefore, they may not provide the benefits the brand claims they will, since they’re not sufficiently dosed.

For example, the standard recommended dose of reishi mushroom is 1,000mg – 1,500mg and there’s only 25mg of reishi mushroom in the formula.

Similarly, there’s only 50mg of Rhodiola Rosea in the formula but the standard recommended dose is between 100mg – 600mg. And so, it is very unlikely you will get enough of this adaptogenic herb in the this formula.

Therefore, although the formula has a fully disclosed ingredients label, it’s not clear whether the formula will provide benefits since it doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Beyond Greens Ingredients Label

Athletic Greens

Athletic Greens contains a much higher number of ingredients than the Beyond Greens formula, with AG1 containing 75 ingredients in total.

Athletic Greens recommended serving size is 12g, which again, is a much higher serving size than Beyond Greens! However, this is expected since the formula contains many more ingredients.

Although the formula does have a long list of impressive ingredients, all of these ingredients exist within proprietary blends and therefore, since we can’t see the amount of each ingredient in the formula, it’s unclear if the ingredients within the formula will actually be sufficiently dosed or not.

If the ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed, they may not provide the benefits that the brand claims they will, and therefore it may be a waste of time.

However, there is hope that the AG1 formula does contain sufficiently dosed ingredients both because the serving size is heavily weighted and because there have been so many positive reviews from people experiencing the benefits associated with the formula.

Athletic Greens AG1 Label

Beyond Greens Vs Athletic Greens Taste

Beyond Greens

The Beyond Greens formula contains natural flavorings, stevia, and salt. However, the main taste of the formula comes directly from the Matcha powder, which is one of the formula’s main ingredients.

Therefore, overall, the formula tastes like a sweetened version of Matcha powder.

If you like Matcha powder, then you’ll enjoy the taste. However, obviously, if you don’t, you won’t enjoy the taste of this formula.

Athletic Greens

The Athletic Greens formula is actually one of my favorite tasting super greens formulas out there! In fact, I actually have it at the top of my ‘best tasting super greens’ list.

The formula is sweetened using stevia and flavored with papaya, broccoli powder, cherry powder, carrot, natural pineapple flavor, and natural vanilla flavor.

Personally, I think the Athletic Greens formula tastes great, and lots of others seem to agree!

It’s definitely a popular supplement both for its contents and its taste.

Beyond Greens Vs Athletic Greens Cost

Beyond Greens

Beyond Greens is available to purchase at an array of different price points – options for the more tubs you buy, or if you subscribe, the more you save.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of Beyond Greens costs $39.99. This works out at a cost per serving of $1.33.

If you order two tubs on a one-time purchase, this costs $36.99 per tub, working out at a cost per serving of $1.23.

On a subscription, two tubs has a cost per serving of $0.96.

If you order four tubs on a one-time purchase it costs $31.99 per tub, working out at a cost per serving of $1.06.

On a subscription, four tubs have a cost per serving of $0.83.

You can save up to 38% by choosing to subscribe to Beyond Greens, which is clearly a substantial amount!

Athletic Greens

Unfortunately, one of the downsides of Athletic Greens is that it is one of the more expensive super greens formulas on the market.

A 30-day servings pouch of Athletic Greens costs $99, which works out at a cost per serving of $3.30.

However, you can subscribe to the formula and save money! The subscription options also come with a shaker and jar.

On a subscription, a 30-day servings pouch of Athletic Greens costs $79, which works out at a cost per serving of $2.63.

On a subscription, a 60-day servings pouch of Athletic Greens costs $149, which works out at a cost per serving of $2.48.

Obviously, if you know that you want the AG1 formula, it’s much more cost-effective to buy it on a subscription option!

However, even at its cheapest, it’s still an expensive formula, and so you may wish to find a better alternative to AG1.

Beyond Greens Vs Athletic Greens: Which is Better?

Although the Beyond Greens formula does have a fully disclosed ingredients label, since it has such a small serving size, only one green ingredient, and a lot of the ingredients within the formula are not fully disclosed, I have to say that I think Athletic Greens is the stronger super greens formula out of the two.

Although the Athletic Greens formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, it’s a trusted and highly regarded product.

It also has a substantial serving size and an array of both greens and herbal/probiotic/enzyme ingredients, and therefore, if you can afford the Athletic Greens formula, I think it’s worth purchasing it.

However, obviously, as always, I recommend that you choose a super greens powder that contains potent ingredients, has a fully disclosed ingredients label, and is suitable for your budget.

Overall though, the winner of the comparison has to be Athletic Greens in my opinion.

Two popular supplements that are often compared because they are so similar is the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules and the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

Both Balance of Nature and Juice Plus has been around for more than two decades, and both brands offer very similar supplements – each one produces singular supplements that are combined into a “Fruit and Veggie” combination package that they then sell together.

If you’re looking for Fruit and Vegetable capsules, there’s no doubt that either or both of these brands have surfaced as you’ve been scouring the internet for supplements.

I will be reviewing Balance of Nature and Juice Plus side by side, looking at certain aspects of the supplements, and ultimately coming to a conclusion about which supplement is better to buy!

So, get ready to take a look at the comparison of Balance of Nature and Juice Plus and see which one comes out on top!

What Is Balance of Nature?

Balance of Nature was founded over two decades ago and is a supplement company that specifically creates superfood capsules.

The Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules are the brand’s most popular supplement and they have been since they were first showcased to the market.

Much like the Juice Plus supplement that they are being compared to, Balance of Nature doesn’t provide just one supplement that contains fruit and vegetables, they provide a combination package of a vegetable supplement and a fruit supplement.

Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable pills are vegan, dairy-free, non-GMO, and gluten-free.

Although the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules do contain a wide range of ingredients, a lot of which are known to be incredibly potent, it’s unclear whether or not the capsules will provide sufficiently dosed ingredients since the formula is made up of proprietary blends.

Firstly, it’s completely unclear how much of each ingredient actually exists within the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules due to the fact that all of the ingredients exist within a proprietary blend.

Also, since capsule supplements very rarely have the ability to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, this is also concerning.

However, I will be looking more closely at the efficacy of the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable Capsules later in this comparison review.

First, let’s take a look at the overall pros and cons of these capsules!

Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies

Pros

  • No taste – good for people that can’t stomach superfood powders.
  • Been on the market for over 20 years.

Cons

  • Ingredients exist within proprietary blends.
  • Insufficient amount of ingredients.
  • Expensive in comparison to other supplements on the market.

What Is Juice Plus?

Juice Plus was also founded over two decades ago, like Balance of Nature. It also provides Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

The supplements each stand on their own, but the brand couples them up to create a Fruit and Vegetable combination package.

Although Juice Plus produces a wide range of supplements, the Fruit and Vegetable capsules, together, are one of the most popular supplements sold by the brand.

Unfortunately, there’s not a huge amount of information provided by Juice Plus about the Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

Therefore, it’s unclear who they’re suitable for and how the products are produced. For example, even though the capsules are supposed to be plant-based, it’s unclear whether they’re fully vegan, or if they contain dairy/gluten, etc.

However, unlike the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules, the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules do have some of their ingredients disclosed.

Although there are two different versions of the supplements’ ingredients label, one of the ingredients labels for the supplements shows the amount of each ingredient within the formula.

Therefore, this makes it easy to figure out whether the formula will contain sufficiently dosed ingredients and be effective, or not.

Unfortunately, though, it does seem as if the capsules don’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Therefore, it’s unclear whether the capsules will actually provide the benefits associated with the supplement.

However, I will be looking more closely at the efficacy of the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the overall pros and cons of these capsules!

Juice Plus Tubs

Pros

  • No taste – good for people that can’t stomach superfood powders.
  • Been on the market for over 20 years.
  • Disclosed ingredients.

Cons

  • Expensive.
  • MLM company.

Balance Of Nature Vs Juice Plus Benefits

Balance Of Nature

Balance of Nature doesn’t actually provide a great deal of information about the benefits associated with the Fruit and Vegetable capsules. This makes it difficult to figure out the exact benefits of consuming the formula.

Obviously, this isn’t ideal since it’s unclear what the capsules do! Therefore, as a consumer, you don’t know if you actually need to take these capsules.

All the Balance of Nature website says is that by consuming the Fruit and Vegetable capsules you will be able to benefit from essential micronutrients, vitamins, and minerals, that will therefore support you to be your healthiest self.

The brand simply says that the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules will help you “Feel & Be Your Best”.

Clearly, it’s a shame that the brand doesn’t supply more information about the benefits of the Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

Check out how Balance of Nature compares to other superfood supplements:

Juice Plus

Unfortunately, there is also not a lot of information about the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

Although there are various clinical study papers and articles about the ingredients within Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules, there’s no specific information provided by the company about the benefits of the capsules.

However, the company does suggest that the capsules contain vital micronutrients, and in comparison to the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules, there’s definitely more information across the website about the capsules.

Balance Of Nature Vs Juice Plus Ingredients

Balance Of Nature

When I first reviewed Balance of Nature, the brand claimed that the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules could provide 16 servings of fruit and 15 servings of vegetables.

Clearly, it’s impossible for this many servings of fruit and vegetables to be held within such small capsules (2g).

Since the brand no longer claims that this is the case, they also clearly realized that was impossible and decided to retract their statement.

However, Balance of Nature still makes a strong statement – the brand claims that the Fruit and Veggie capsules provide 10 servings of fruit and vegetables.

Although there is a dedicated area on the Balance of Nature website that attempts to prove how these capsules provide 10 servings of fruit and vegetables through the 2g capsule serving size, there’s not enough significant research to back this up and it’s seemingly impossible for the capsules to provide such sufficient servings.

To fully prove that the capsules cannot contain this many servings of fruit and vegetables, we can take a closer look at the ingredients label to figure out whether the ingredients are sufficiently dosed or not!

Although the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsule ingredients label isn’t fully disclosed and the capsules are made up of proprietary blends, we can make an estimated guess about whether the ingredients are sufficiently dosed by comparing recommended doses to the weighted serving of each blend.

Looking at the Fruit capsules, the Maintain Blend totals 731mg and contains 8 ingredients.

Unfortunately, since just three of the ingredients – aloe, grape, and blueberry – have a combined recommended dose of 800mg, not all of the ingredients within this blend are sufficiently dosed.

Continuing to look at the Fruit capsules, the same can be said for the Protect Blend.

The Protect blend totals 719mg, and since cherry and aloe vera have a combined recommended dose of 1g, it’s impossible for all of the ingredients within this blend to be sufficiently dosed too!

Looking at the Vegetable capsules, both the Maintain Blend and the Protect Blend don’t have the ability to contain fully sufficiently dosed ingredients.

For example, wheatgrass is just one of the ingredients in both blends – it has a recommended dose of 3g, but since the blends total 720mg and 713mg each, it’s once again clear that not all the ingredients within the formula contain fully sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Although certain ingredients within Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules may provide nutrients and health benefits, if not all the ingredients within the capsules are sufficiently dosed, they may not provide a sufficient dose of nutrients or health benefits as an overall supplement.

Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies Supplement Facts

Juice Plus

There are two different types of ingredients labels shown on the Juice Plus website for the Fruit and Vegetable capsules, which seems a little odd!

However, luckily, one of these labels shows a disclosed list of all the ingredients within the capsules.

This is great news because it means we can take a closer look at whether or not the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed or not.

In the Juice Plus Fruit capsules, not many of the ingredients actually have standard recommended doses. However, the two that do – beetroot and cherry extract – are not sufficiently dosed.

The dose of beetroot powder within the capsules is 45mg, whereas the recommended dose of beet powder is 5g.

The dose of cherry extract in the formula is 50mg, but the recommended dose of the cherry extract is 2,500mg. Clearly, both of these ingredients are completely underdosed.

Looking at the Juice Plus Vegetable capsules, it’s also clear that the ingredients that do have standard recommended doses are also not sufficiently dosed.

For example, there’s 15mg of spirulina in the capsules but the recommended dose of spirulina is 1-3g.

There’s 15mg of garlic powder in the capsules but the recommended dose of garlic is 400mg.

There’s 10mg of beets, but again, the recommended dose of beet powder is 5g.

Therefore, clearly, both the Juice Plus Fruit and Juice Plus Vegetable capsules do not contain sufficiently dosed ingredients. This means that they may not be effective!

Juice Plus Fruit Label

Balance Of Nature Vs Juice Plus Taste

Balance Of Nature

Since Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules are capsule supplements, they don’t have a taste.

Obviously, if you keep the capsules in your mouth for too long without swallowing them, they will start to dissolve and taste unpleasant.

However, as long as you swallow them immediately, as you are supposed to, the capsules don’t taste of anything.

Since a lot of people get put off by the taste of green and superfood powders, the thought of consuming capsules is much more pleasant!

Juice Plus

Exactly like the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules, Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules are also, clearly, capsule supplements and they don’t have any taste associated with them!

Therefore, this makes the capsules an appealing supplement alternative for those that don’t like superfood powders!

However, just the same as the Balance of Nature capsules, if you hold the capsules in your mouth for too long, they will disintegrate and taste unpleasant.

Balance Of Nature Vs Juice Plus Cost

Balance Of Nature

Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules are not one type of supplement – they are two different types of supplements that are sold as a combination package.

The Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules both contains 30 servings.

These capsules are available at different prices depending on the type of Balance of Nature customer you are.

Balance of Nature allows you to be either a ‘Preferred customer’, which means you sign up for a subscription and a health coaching program or a ‘Retail Customer’, which is a one-off purchase customer.

If you are a “Preferred” customer, the cost for one tub of Balance of Nature Fruit capsules and one tub of Balance of Nature Vegetable capsules is $69.95.

This works out at a daily cost of $2.33.

If you are a “Retail” customer, the price is much higher.

The cost for one tub of Balance of Nature Fruit capsules and one tub of Balance of Nature Vegetable capsules is $89.95. This works out at a daily cost of $3.00.

The Balance of Nature capsules, in my opinion, is very expensive for what they are!

When you break down the cost per serving of the supplements, even at the “Preferred” customer price, it works out much more expensive than a number of high-quality supplements out there.

Juice Plus

Exactly like the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules, the Juice Plus capsules are not one type of supplement. Again, they are two different types of supplements that are sold as a combination package.

However, unlike Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules, you can’t buy the Juice Plus capsules on a one-off purchase. Instead, you can only buy a month’s supply of the capsules.

One month’s supply of the Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules contains 2 bottles of Juice PLUS+ selected vegetables and 2 bottles of Juice PLUS+ selected fruits.

Each bottle contains 120 capsules, providing 60 servings per bottle, or 120 servings for both bottles.

You can buy the bottles on a recurring monthly payment of $50. Therefore, this means that for each serving you take, the cost works out at $0.45. So, a daily dose of both the Fruit and Vegetable capsules costs $0.90.

This is obviously much cheaper than the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

However, it’s absolutely unclear when you can stop this recurring payment, which not only shows that the company is lacking transparency, but it’s dangerous as you may be locked into a contract with them for an unknown amount of time.

Balance Of Nature Vs Juice Plus: Which is Better?

Honestly, I would not consume either the Balance of Nature or Juice Plus Fruit and Vegetable capsules.

Although both sets of supplements have slight differences in terms of price and ingredients label disclosure, both of them don’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients and therefore make them a waste of time to purchase and consume.

However, overall, I would say that the Juice Plus capsules do take the lead slightly, simply because it’s good to see that these capsules at least have fully disclosed ingredients labels.

MONAT Total Greens is a superfood formula that contains super greens, fruits, herbal ingredients, and dietary fiber.

The formula is supposed to provide essential micronutrients, whilst also boosting energy levels, improving immunity, and more.

MONAT has a company-wide focus on providing vegan and cruelty-free products, and therefore, the MONAT Total Greens formula is vegan, dairy-free, and contains no added sugar.

MONAT is a popular US-based MLM company that specializes in beauty products, and I’m intrigued to see them moving into the market with this product. Therefore, I want to have a closer look at it!

If you’re thinking of purchasing MONAT Total Greens formula, or you also want to take a closer look at it, check out my full MONAT Total Greens review below.

MONAT Total Greens Tub

MONAT Total Greens First Impressions

As soon as you click onto the MONAT website, you can tell that the company is a multi-level marketing company – I’m not a fan of MLM’s and I never will be.

However, I have to say, I do like the fact that the website contains a blog, holds valuable information about the business and is branded well.

Looking at the Total Greens formula, I’m not sure what to make of it!

Although the formula branding is sleek and sophisticated, you can see in the product photos that the formula doesn’t seem to mix well, which is a little concerning!

However, overall, the product has a nice look, and hopefully, it actually delivers benefits.

Similar supplements I have reviewed that you may be interested in:

Background on MONAT

MONAT was founded in 2014 by father and son, Luis Urdaneta And Ray Urdaneta. MONAT is an MLM (multi-level marketing company) that specializes in selling natural and cruelty-free, hair products, cosmetics, and even pet products.

MONAT is based in the USA, has been launched in Canada, and is set to launch in the UK.

The business has been recognized on the 500 Largest Direct Sales Companies in The World list and has become a multi-million dollar company over the last 7 years.

MONAT Total Greens Benefits

For a formula that contains so many ingredients, unlike most supplements there aren’t actually a lot of benefits associated with a greens formula.

MONAT claims that the formula will provide a boost of essential micronutrients, whilst also boosting energy levels, improving immunity, supporting the digestive system, and improving the appearance of the skin.

MONAT Total Greens Ingredients

MONAT Total Greens formula contains 37 main ingredients.

Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within the formula exist within one big proprietary blend.

Therefore, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This makes it incredibly difficult to work out whether the formula is effective or not.

However, I’ll be taking a much closer look into the efficacy of the formula later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients.

Here is the complete list of the MONAT Total Greens ingredients:

  • Proprietary Blend-4,500mg-Organic Oat Fiber, Organic Spirulina (Whole Plant) Powder, Parsley (Leaf), Barley (Grass), Wheat (Grass), Organic Amaranth (Grain), Organic Acai (Euterpe oleracea) Fruit Powder, Organic Goji (Fruit) Powder, Organic Papaya (Fruit) Powder, Organic Milk Thistle (Seed), Organic Matcha Green Tea (Leaf) Powder, Pineapple (Fruit) Powder, Broccoli (Brassica oleracea) (whole plant) Powder, Carrot (Root) Powder, Apple (Fruit) Powder, Orange (Fruit) Powder, Tomato (Fruit) Powder, Brussel Sprouts (Whole Plant) Powder, Cauliflower (Whole Plant) Powder, Beet (Root) Powder, Blueberry (Fruit) Powder, Celery (Aerial Parts) Powder Grape (Fruit) Powder, Grapefruit (Fruit) Powder, Kale (Leaf) Powder, Plum (Fruit) Powder, Raspberry (Fruit) Powder, Spinach (Aerial Parts) Powder, Strawberry (Fruit) Powder, Radish (Root) Powder, Watermelon (Fruit) Powder, Lemon (Fruit) Powder, Lime (Fruit) Powder, Cantaloupe (Cucumis melo) (Fruit) Powder, Cherry (Fruit) Powder, Leek (Allium ampeloprasum) (Aerial Parts) Powder, Onion (Bulb) Powder, Peach (Fruit) Powder, Pear (Pyrus communis) (Fruit) Powder, Ginger (Root) Powder, Green Pea (Seed) Powder.
  • Other Ingredients – Organic Maltodextrin, Organic Acacia Gum, Citric Acid, Natural Flavors, Rebaudioside A [as Stevia (leaf) Extract].

Here is the supplement label:

MONAT Total Greens Label

How does MONAT Total Greens Taste?

MONAT Total Greens is “Berry Green” flavored. The formula is naturally flavored and sweetened with stevia extract and maltodextrin. Unfortunately, maltodextrin is a detrimental ingredient to health that can raise blood sugar levels.

Overall, reviews concerning the taste of the formula are all positive.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the MONAT Total Greens formula.

However, just as with any new supplement, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or you have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consuming MONAT Total Greens.

Does MONAT Total Greens Work?

Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within MONAT Total Greens exist within one big proprietary blend.

I really dislike proprietary blends in supplements because it’s not just unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula, but it’s completely impossible to figure out.

Although MONAT’s lack of transparency makes it difficult to conclude whether the formula is effective or not, we can take a look at the combined recommended doses of ingredients within the blend and compare that to the total amount of the blend to see if it has the potential to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

It’s impossible for all of the ingredients within the formula to be sufficiently dosed.

So, let’s take a look.

The clearly named “Proprietary Blend” totals 4.5g.

However, since the combined recommended dose of just the wheatgrass, spirulina, green tea, ginger, and acai within the blend totals 5g, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this formula have the ability to be sufficiently dosed.

Overall, although some of the less potent ingredients may be sufficiently dosed within the MONAT Total Greens formula, it’s impossible for all of the ingredients to be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.

MONAT Total Greens Reviews

I normally take a look on Amazon to see a selection of honest customer reviews. However, since the MONAT Total Greens formula is only available through the MONAT website, I can’t do that!

It’s only possible to see the reviews on the Total Greens product page on the MONAT website.

Overall, the formula has 5 reviews, all of which are 5-star. Obviously, these reviews could be biased since they have the potential to be written by sellers of MONAT products.

Therefore, since all of the reviews are positive, you may want to take them with a pinch of salt.

Nonetheless, let’s take a closer look at some of these reviews.

At first I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price, but I'm so glad I tried it! The struggle is real with low energy and brain fog and I was shocked that this supplement helped so much. And just like everything else Monat, a small dose packs a punch! The recommended dose is just one small scoop and I add it to my smoothies daily. It's the first greens/wellness powder I have ever used that actually helps with alertness and focus. I have energy now and feel healthy using this. Definitely worth a try! Oh and it's also gluten free and vegan, do it!5-star review

I take Total Greens every time i feel dehydrated, especially in the afternoon. Helps me with my energy and lifts the happy spirit higher :-).5-star review

In just the first few days of using Total Greens, I'm already finding natural energy. I look forward to see (and feel) the changes Total Greens brings.5-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

MONAT offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all of its products.

Where to buy MONAT Total Greens?

You can buy MONAT Total Greens from the MONAT website or from a third party MONAT seller.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of MONAT Total Greens contains 30 servings of formula.

There are two price options – one for those looking to buy the formula as a one-off purchase, and those who are part of the multi-level marketing scheme that the company runs.

At standard retail price, one tub of MONAT Total Greens costs $59. Therefore, the cost per serving works out at $1.97.

If you are part of MONAT and therefore a “VIP Customer”, one tub of MONAT Total Greens costs $50. Therefore, the cost per serving works out at $1.67.

Since the formula is made up of one large proprietary blend and it’s clearly impossible for all of the ingredients within that blend to be sufficiently dosed, I don’t think it’s worth the price that it’s sold for.

My Final Verdict

Overall, I don’t think the MONAT Total Greens formula is worth buying.

Aside from the fact that the formula is produced by an MLM company, it doesn’t have a fully disclosed label, doesn’t have the ability to contain completely sufficiently dosed ingredients, and it’s fairly expensive.

Therefore, if you’re looking for a powerful greens formula that is actually going to provide benefits, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
