Texas Superfood vs Balance of Nature

Texas Superfood Vs Balance Of Nature

Texas Superfood is a popular superfood formula in the US that contains a large number of potent ingredients, a lot of which overlap with my own superfood formula.

On the other hand, Balance of Nature pills is wholefood fruit and vegetable pills that have been on the market for over two decades but are also extremely popular.

Since both supplements are targeted at the same market, I’m going to be reviewing them side by side, looking at specific aspects of both, and coming to a conclusion about which one is the better supplement to buy.

So, whether you’re thinking about purchasing either Texas Superfood or Balance of Nature pills, or you’re stuck trying to compare the two, keep reading this article and we’ll let you know which one’s best!

What Is Texas Superfood?

Texas Superfood is a superfood formula that contains more than 50 ingredients, including grasses, greens, fruits, adaptogens, and herbal extracts.

Texas Superfood is non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and made in the USA.

Texas Superfood is available in both capsule and powdered form.

However, both versions have the same ingredients label. Unfortunately, this ingredients label is made up of several proprietary blends, therefore meaning it’s impossible to see how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This makes it incredibly difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula. However, I’ll be taking a much closer look at the efficacy of the formula later on!

Texas SuperFood Original

Pros

  • Wide range of ingredients.
  • 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Free shipping in the USA.

Cons

  • Proprietary blends.
  • More expensive than other formulas on the market.

What Is Balance Of Nature?

Balance of Nature, founded over two decades ago, is a supplement company that specializes in creating superfood formulas in capsules.

The Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable Pills are the brand’s most popular supplements and the ones that we will be reviewing in this article.

The Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable pills are non-GMO, dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan.

The Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable pills contain a wide range of potent ingredients, but it’s unclear if they will provide an adequate amount of each ingredient for two reasons.

Firstly, it’s completely unclear how much of each ingredient actually exists within the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules due to the fact that all of the ingredients exist within a proprietary blend.

Secondly, capsule formulas very, very rarely provide sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Therefore, they may not be effective.

However, I will be looking more closely at the efficacy of the Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable capsules later in this review.

Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies

Pros

  • Been on the market for over 20 years
  • Easy to take, no taste

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Ingredients exist within proprietary blends
  • Insufficient amount of ingredients

Texas Superfood Vs. Balance of Nature Benefits

Texas Superfood

There is a substantial amount of information about the benefits of the Texas Superfood formula on the brand’s website, which is great to see!

In addition to providing essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, the Texas Superfood formula is supposed to boost energy levels, improve physical performance, improve sleep, support mental clarity, help with weight loss, improve skin quality, and boost mood.

The brand also shares important information about the vitamins and minerals that come from certain ingredients within the formula.

For example,

Apples provide whole-body benefits and are packed with nutrition that includes Vitamins C and B, iron, magnesium, calcium, zinc, potassium, folate and fiber.

Balance of Nature

Unfortunately, Balance of Nature doesn’t provide a lot of information about the benefits associated with the Fruit and Vegetable pills.

This isn’t ideal and as a consumer, it can make it difficult to actually understand the benefits of taking these capsule supplements.

The Balance of Nature website simply states that by consuming these capsules, you will consume the essential vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients needed so that you can “Feel & Be Your Best”.

Unfortunately, this just isn’t enough information to go off and it would be great to see the actual benefits associated with the capsules.

Texas Superfood Vs. Balance of Nature Ingredients

Texas Superfood

Texas Superfood contains over 50 ingredients, all of which exist within several proprietary blends, as mentioned above briefly.

The problem with proprietary blends is that it’s impossible to know whether or not the ingredients are sufficiently dosed since all we can see is the total amount of each blend, as a whole.

Although the ingredients do exist within proprietary blends, we can come to an informed decision about whether or not the formula will be sufficiently dosed by comparing the combined recommended doses of the ingredients within the blends to the total amount of the blends.

Not all of the ingredients within the Texas Superfood formula have standard recommended doses.

However, chlorella, wheatgrass, and maca root do, and since the combined recommended dose of these three ingredients comes to 8g and the recommended serving size of the entire formula is only 6g, it’s very clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula have the ability to be sufficiently dosed.

In fact, it’s quite astonishing that just three of the ingredients within a 50 ingredient formula have a higher combined recommended dose than what is provided per serving.

Overall, although certain ingredients within the formula may exist in substantial amounts and provide benefits, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, the formula may not provide the benefits that the brand claims it will.

Texas Superfood Label

Balance of Nature

Although Balance of Nature used to claim that the Fruit and Vegetable capsules they produce provided 16 servings of fruit and 15 servings of vegetables, the brand no longer stands behind this statement – clearly, they’ve realized that the statement is a tall tale!

However, the brand does still make a fairly bold statement, claiming that the Fruit and Veggie pills provide 10 servings of fruit and vegetables.

Although Balance of Nature has attempted to explain how these capsules provide exact servings of 10 fruit and vegetables, it’s simply impossible for this number of fruit and vegetables to exist within a serving size of three capsules (2g) per supplement.

To prove that the capsules cannot contain this many servings of fruit and vegetables, we can take a look at the recommended doses of ingredients within the blends and the total amounts of the blends.

Looking at the Fruit capsules, the Maintain Blend contains 8 ingredients and totals 731mg, and since just three of the ingredients – aloe, grape, and blueberry – have a combined recommended dose of 800mg, it’s clearly not sufficiently dosed.

The same goes for the Protect Blend in the Fruit capsules.

This blend totals 719mg, but with cherry and aloe vera having a combined recommended dose of 1g, it clearly doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients either.

Let’s take a look at the Vegetable capsules.

Both the Maintain Blend and the Protect Blend clearly don’t contain fully sufficiently dosed ingredients since wheatgrass, one of the ingredients in both blends has a recommended dose of 3g, and the blends total 720mg and 713mg, in order.

Overall, just the same as the Texas Superfood formula, although certain ingredients may provide benefits, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable Capsules are sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, they may not provide the benefits that the brand claims they do.

Balance of Nature Fruits and Veggies Supplement Facts

Texas Superfood Vs. Balance of Nature Taste

Texas Superfood

Obviously, the Texas Superfood capsules don’t taste like anything – they’re capsules and therefore as long as you swallow them before they start to break down in your mouth, they won’t have a taste!

However, the Texas Superfood powdered formula has very mixed reviews when it comes to the taste of the formula.

The majority of reviews concerning the taste of the formula are negative, with many claiming it’s overly natural, muddy tasting, and is difficult to drink.

Since there’s so much fruit within the formula, it is a little surprising that the formula has quite so many negative reviews concerning its taste.

Overall, although some people mix it with smoothies and can hack the taste of it, Texas Superfood definitely isn’t the most flavorsome formula on the market.

Balance of Nature

Since Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable pills are obviously capsules, they don’t taste like anything.

This is a huge plus side for people who find the taste of superfood powders a little too overwhelming.

However, obviously, as mentioned above, if you don’t swallow the pills before they break down in your mouth, they won’t taste pleasant.

Texas Superfood Vs. Balance of Nature Cost

Texas Superfood

Texas Superfood is sold in tubs that contain 30 servings of powdered formula.

The capsule version of Texas Superfood is sold in tubs of 180 capsules, still equalling 30 servings.

The cost is the same for both powder and capsules. However, you can save money if you buy either of them on a subscription option or order more than one tub, rather than simply buying the supplements on a one-time purchase.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of either the powder or the capsules works out at $59.95. This means that the formula has a cost per serving of $2.00.

On a subscription, one tub of either the powder or the capsules works out at $54.95.

This means that the formula has a cost per serving of $1.83.

If you buy multiple bottles of either the powdered formula or the capsules you can save up to $15.

Therefore, one tub would work out at $44.95, meaning the cost per serving would work out at $1.50.

Even at the lowest price, it’s available for, Texas Superfood is definitely overpriced for what it is.

This is due to the fact that it doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, contains proprietary blends, and definitely contains insufficiently dosed ingredients.

Balance of Nature

Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable pills each contain 30 servings.

Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable pills are available at different prices depending on the type of brand-customer you are.

You can be a ‘Preferred customer’, which means you sign up for a subscription and a health coaching program, or you can simply be a one-off customer, which Balance of Nature calls a ‘Retail Customer’.

If you are a “Preferred” customer, the cost for one tub of Balance of Nature Fruit pills and one tub of Balance of Nature Vegetable pills is $69.95.

This works out at a daily cost of $2.33.

If you are a “ Retail” customer, the price is much higher. The cost for one tub of Balance of Nature Fruit pills and one tub of Balance of Nature Vegetable pills is $89.95.

This works out at a daily cost of $3.00.

Honestly, I’m shocked at the price of Balance of Nature Fruit and Vegetable pills.

The cost per serving of these supplements is more expensive than a large number of supplements on the market, even at the “Preferred” customer price.

Since the capsules, much like the Texas Superfood supplements, do not have a fully disclosed label, contain proprietary blends, and contain insufficiently dosed ingredients, I don’t think they’re worth the price that they’re sold at.

Texas Superfood Vs Balance of Nature: Which is Better?

To be completely honest, I feel let down by both Texas Superfood and Balance of Nature.

Although both of these supplements have been on the market for a while, they don’t have disclosed ingredients labels, they provide sufficiently dosed ingredients, and they’re expensive.

Both of these supplements are actually quite similar.

The only reason I would choose to put Texas Superfood above Balance of Nature is that it has a powdered formula. Powdered formulas are much more likely to contain higher nutrient levels and sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Therefore, if you are trying to weigh up which one to go for and you’re certain you want to buy one of these supplements, I would suggest choosing the Texas Superfood powder.

However, if you are looking for a high-quality superfood supplement that will definitely provide you with sufficiently dosed ingredients, provide you with benefits, and be kind to your wallet, I would suggest looking elsewhere!

Although the formula is called Organic Greens and Reds, it has no USDA certification. Instead, the formula uses USDA-certified organic ingredients to create the formula.

What is 1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds?

The 1UpNutrition website is jam-packed with information about the company, the products, and customers’ weight loss and fitness progress.

The website clearly makes the brand appear as a fitness-focused brand, and to be honest, I think there’s a little too much going on – it’s rather intense.

However, seeing so much content on a brand’s website is good!

However, the Organic Greens & Reds formula is nowhere near as pushy and fitness-focused. In fact, it just appears to be a health and well-being product, which is nice to see and appeals more to me.

Overall, the product looks interesting and I’m keen to look closer at it!

1UpNutrition was founded in 2013 by co-founders Vadim Mordovin and John Hilton, both fitness enthusiasts and healthy living advocates.

Although the brand was founded a while ago, it’s kept up incredibly well with the times, and the Organic Greens & Reds formula, in particular, has become more popular than ever over the last year or so, with fitness influencers on TikTok and Instagram promoting the formula, as well as other 1UpNutrition products.

Alongside the Organic Greens & Reds formula, the brand’s other best-selling products are protein powders, fat burners, and collagen supplements.

1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds Benefits

The 1UpNutrition formula is supposed to provide essential micronutrients to the consumer that provide many health benefits.

The formula is supposed to support the immune system, push toxins from the body, reduce bloating, protect the body from free radicals, improve gut health and promote healthy digestion, reduce bloating, and boost the metabolism.

1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds Ingredients

1UpNutrition Organic Greens & Reds contains 25 main ingredients.

Unfortunately, although the brand claims that the ingredients list is fully disclosed and a “non-proprietary blend formula that helps you know what you’re paying for,” all of the ingredients exist within proprietary blends!

It seems odd that the brand has sold the formula as a non-proprietary blend formula when that’s exactly what it is.

Nonetheless, let’s look at the formula's ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the 1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds ingredients:

  • Organic Greens Complex – 4g –Organic Greens Blend (Organic Spinach Powder, Organic Parsley Powder, Organic Kale Powder, Organic Barley Grass Powder, Organic Wheat Grass Powder, Organic Spirulina Powder, Organic Chlorella Powder, Organic Green Pepper, Powder Organic Green Apple Powder, Organic Green Banana Powder, Organic Sweet Potato Powder & Organic Broccoli Powder).
  • Organic Prebiotic Fiber – 2g –Inulin/Fructooligosaccharides.
  • Organic Antioxidant Reds Complex – 1.5g –Organic Strawberry, Organic Raspberry, Organic Blueberry, Organic Tart Cherry, Organic Pomegranate, Organic Cranberry & Organic Beet).
  • Organic Metabolic Complex – 1g –Organic Ginger Powder, Organic Licorice Powder, Organic Turmeric Powder & Organic Green Tea Powder.

  • Other Ingredients –Citric Acid, Natural Flavor, & Organic Stevia Extract.

How does 1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds Taste?

You can purchase the Organic Greens & Reds formula in Original, Mango, Pineapple, Lemon, or Green Apple Flavor.

The formula is flavored with natural flavors and sweetened with stevia leaf extract.

Unfortunately, even though the formula has mixed reviews, not many people like the taste of the formula, regardless of how they’ve reviewed the formula as a whole.

Additionally, the formula also doesn’t mix well.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the 1UpNutrition Organic Greens & Reds formula.

However, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or you have a medical condition, you should also consult a doctor before consuming the Organic Grens & Reds formula.

Does 1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds Work?

All of the ingredients within the Organic Greens & Reds formula exist within proprietary blends. Therefore, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient actually exists within this formula.

This makes it very difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, we can come to an informed decision about whether or not the formula contains sufficiently dosed ingredients by looking at the combined recommended doses of the ingredients within each blend and the total amount of the blend.

Then, we can at least see if each blend has the ability to hold the combined recommended doses of the ingredients within it.

The Organics Greens Complex totals 4g, but since the combined recommended dose of just the wheatgrass, spirulina, and chlorella in the blend totals 5g, not all of the ingredients within this blend can be sufficiently dosed.

It’s clear that it’s impossible for every ingredient within the Organic Greens & Reds to be sufficiently dosed.

The Organic Antioxidant Reds Complex Blend totals 1.5g, but since the recommended dose of tart cherry and beets is 2.5g, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this blend are sufficiently dosed.

The Organic Metabolic Complex 1g, and since the combined recommended dose of ginger, turmeric, and green tea totals 1.25mg, this blend falls short of being able to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Overall, it’s clear that it’s impossible for every ingredient within the Organic Greens & Reds to be sufficiently dosed.

1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds Reviews

I typically take a look on Amazon to see honest customer reviews of products. However, 1UpNutrition Organic Greens & Reds are unavailable on Amazon.

Therefore, we can only look at the reviews on the 1UpNutrition website.

Although these reviews have the potential to be biased, since they’re on the company's website, there actually does seem to be a wide range of reviews with differing ratings.

Organic Greens & Reds has many reviews, with 8,118 customer reviews. The formula scores an overall rating of 4.8 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

Obsessed!!!!!! Been using for about a week now and I feel so good every morning. It doesn’t taste the best but I know it’s doing it’s job. I have not felt heavy or bloated and I feel great after eating. It’s the perfect thing to start my morning with!5-star review

Did not mix as well as other similar products I used so there was some leftover gritty texture when drinking it even after shaking it a lot in a shaker bottle or frothing it. Also did not taste great but still drinkable.3-star review

Tastes really bad no matter how you mix it. It overpowers my shakes. Gave me a stomach ache. Returning it was a nightmare. It’s not even worth trying with that type of return system.1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

1UpNutrition offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all of its products. Any product you decide to send back has to have less than 20% of the formula used to qualify for a refund.

Where to buy 1UpNutrition Organic Greens and Reds?

You can buy 1UpNutrition Organic Greens & Reds from the 1UpNutrition website.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of 1UpNutrition Organic Greens & Reds contains approximately 30 servings of formula.

You can only buy the formula on a one-time purchase. However, with each purchase, you get a free sample of fat burner and a free PDF ebook with high-protein dessert recipes – this is a nice touch.

One tub of Organic Greens & Reds costs $54.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.83.

Although the blends within the formula are fairly heavily weighted, since not all of the ingredients within the formula can be sufficiently dosed, I don’t think the formula is worth the price it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

Although the 1UpNutrition Organic Greens & Reds formula is incredibly popular, I have to say that I don’t think it’s worth the reputation it’s given.

Unfortunately, since the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed label and not all of the ingredients in the formula are sufficiently dosed, I wouldn’t recommend the formula.

Instead, I recommend choosing a superfood formula with a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely containing sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Although the Skipwith Organics website is clearly targeted towards women, I actually like the website – it’s well designed, modern, fresh, clearly laid out, and packed with information.

The company itself seems to be focused on slow, ethical, and plant-based living, which is great to see too!

The Greens Ritual formula certainly has feminine branding, but it’s nicely designed and seems to contain some potent ingredients.

Overall, both the product and the company look interesting, so I’m keen to take a closer look at both of them.

How does Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual Taste?

Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual is “Citrus” flavored. It’s flavored with natural lemon flavorings and sweetened with stevia extract and monk fruit extract.

Overall, reviews concerning the taste of the formula seem to be positive.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual formula.

However, it does have a Prop 65 warning associated with it, meaning that since the formula is sold to people in California, the brand has to legally state that the formula may expose the consumer to chemicals including lead, which is known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or you have a medical condition, you should also consult a doctor before consuming the Skipwith Organics Greens Rituals formula.

Does Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual Work?

Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual exist within a proprietary blend. Therefore, it’s absolutely impossible to know how much of each ingredient actually resides within the formula.

This lack of transparency makes it difficult to conclude whether the formula is effective or not.

However, we can make an informed estimate about whether or not the formula contains sufficiently dosed ingredients by looking at the combined recommended doses of the ingredients within the blends and comparing that to the total amount of the blends.

The Whole Food Greens Blend totals 6.1g, and since the combined recommended dose of just the wheatgrass, spirulina, and chlorella in the blend totals 5g, the ingredients within this blend do have the potential to be sufficiently dosed.

Although some of the greens within the formula have the potential to be sufficiently dosed, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula are.

The Superfood, Fruit and Vegetable Blend totals 2.5g, but since the combined recommended dose of just three ingredients – matcha green tea, astragalus, and turmeric – totals 2.75g, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this blend are sufficiently dosed.

Overall, although some of the greens within the formula have the potential to be sufficiently dosed, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, it’s unclear whether all of the ingredients will provide benefits.

When I say this is one of the ONLY green juices I can actually finish/enjoy….I mean it! I just take a scoop into some iced lemon water, shake it up, and that's it! So easy, delicious, and packed with amazing ingredients. The taste (when mixed with lemon water) has a hint of matcha – which I LOVE! It truly balances out the rest of the greens and it is so refreshing ! Not chalky, overly sweet, or bitter!5-star review

I was very impressed by the ingredients and taste in the greens powder and protein powder! It's hard to find a product that checks both boxes.4-star review

Where to buy Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual?

You can buy Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual from the Skipwith Organics website and from Verishop.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual contains 30 servings of formula.

You can either buy the formula on a one-time purchase or on a subscription option. If you choose to sign up for a subscription you save 5%.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual costs $68. Therefore, the cost per serving works out at $2.27.

On a subscription, one tub of Skipwith Organics Greens Ritual costs $64.60. Therefore, the cost per serving works out at $2.15.

Although the ingredients within the formula have the potential to be sufficiently dosed, since the formula is made up of proprietary blends I don’t think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.

However, since it’s USDA certified organic and there’s a big focus on sustainability, the price of the formula may be justified.

My Final Verdict

Overall, I think Skipworth Organics is a great company and the Green Rituals formula is promising.

Although I really like the brand’s ethos and the formula contains some powerful ingredients, since the formula contains proprietary blends and is lacking a fully disclosed ingredients label (making it unclear whether the ingredients in it are sufficiently dosed), I have to say that I wouldn’t personally consume the formula.

It also doesn’t help that the formula is fairly expensive in comparison to other brands on the market.

However, saying that, the formula definitely isn’t bad, and if you’re intent on buying it, I’d recommend that you go for it and keep me updated with how you get on!

Complete Human Greens Benefits

Complete Human actually doesn’t provide a lot of information about the benefits associated with the formula.

The brand simply claims that the formula supports overall health and wellbeing, boosts energy levels, and boosts immunity.

For a formula that contains so many potent ingredients, it’s unclear why the brand doesn’t provide more information about the benefits of the formula!

Complete Human Greens Ingredients

Complete Human Organic Greens Label

How does Complete Human Greens Taste?

Complete Human Greens are Green Apple flavored. It’s flavored naturally and sweetened with organic sugar and stevia extract.

Most consumers enjoy the taste of the formula, and with so much sugar per serving, it’s clear why! However, some consumers think the formula is hard to drink and hard to mix.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Complete Human Greens formula

However, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or you have a medical condition, you should also consult a doctor before consuming this formula.

Does Complete Human Greens Work?

Unfortunately, all of the ingredients within the Complete Human Greens formula exist within proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

However, we can come to an informed conclusion of whether or not the Complete Human Greens formula is sufficiently dosed by looking at the combined recommended doses of the ingredients within each blend and the total amount of the blend. Then, we will see if the blends have the potential to contain sufficiently dosed ingredients.

So, let’s do just that!

The Organics Greens, Grass, and Fruits Blend total 3g, but since the combined recommended dose of just wheatgrass, spirulina, and chlorella is 5g, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this blend are sufficiently dosed.

It’s clear that not all of these ingredients are not sufficiently dosed and the formula contains a lot of sugar per serving!

The Organic Immuno Antioxidant Blend totals 2.5g, and since the combined recommended dose of maca root, green tea, and ginseng totals 3.45g, it’s clear that not all of these ingredients are sufficiently dosed.

In fact, maca root has a recommended dose of 3g, so this is definitely not sufficiently dosed!

However, this also means that the other ingredients maybe, depending on how much of each ingredient the brand has actually added into this blend.

The Organic All In Detox Blend totals 250mg and since the recommended dose of ginger root and ashwagandha totals 1g, these ingredients are also clearly not sufficiently dosed.

Additionally, the formula contains 3g of sugar per 11.4g serving.

Overall, it’s clear that not all of these ingredients are not sufficiently dosed and the formula contains a lot of sugar per serving!

Complete Human Greens Reviews

Complete Human Greens are available on Amazon and has more reviews on there than on the Complete Humans website.

Therefore, we can take a look on there to see a selection of honest and unbiased customer reviews!

The formula has 78 customer ratings and scores an overall rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

This product has added so much to my life! I have so much energy and vitality. Regularity. It helps me with my workouts and recovery. Overall health. Thank you for making such beautiful crafted product. I’m on my 3rd tub. I will be back for more and more.5-star review

I wanted to love these greens but I don’t. They don’t dissolve very easily and are very chalky tasting. I do like the berry flavor but I won’t be ordering them again.3-star review

I tried for a solid month and never felt any difference and the sour apple flavor was so hard to drink for me.1-star review

Where to buy Complete Human Greens?

You can buy Complete Human Greens from the Complete Human website and from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Complete Human Greens contains 30 servings of formula.

You can either buy the formula on a one-time purchase or you can purchase it on a subscription option.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of Complete Human Greens costs $39.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.33.

On a subscription, one tub of Complete Human Greens costs $35.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.20.

Since not all of the ingredients within Complete Human Greens are sufficiently dosed and each serving contains 3g of sugar, I don’t think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold at, even if it is reasonably inexpensive.

My Final Verdict

Although I really like the Complete Human brand, I’m not too keen on the Complete Human Greens formula.

Unfortunately, I don’t like the fact that the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed label, most likely doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, and contains 3g of sugar per serving.

In my opinion, although the Complete Human Greens formula looks great and the brand is impressive, there are better super greens formulas on the market – ones that have fully disclosed labels, contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, and don’t contain as much sugar.

AdvoGreens is a super greens powder that contains enzymes, prebiotics, probiotics, and herbal extracts, produced by the AdvoCare company.

The supplement formula is supposed to support overall health and wellbeing, whilst also providing certain health benefits such as better digestive health and supported weight management.

AdvoGreens is Informed-Choice for Sport certified (like AG1 supplement), meaning its quality is assured and certified to have been regularly tested for prohibited substances.

There has been a bit of controversy surrounding the AdvoCare brand since 2019 and therefore I’m keen to take a closer look at this popular AdvoCare greens supplement.

AdvoGreens First Impressions

I’m not too keen on the AdvoCare website – although it’s not lacking in informative content, there’s a real lack of personality behind the brand and the design of the website and the supplements is lacking in enthusiasm.

The AdvoGreens formula is also a bit of a letdown. Unfortunately, there’s a real lack of information about the product on its product page and the ingredients label's branding is a little basic – it’s not exactly eye-catching!

Overall, both the brand and the product make a great first impression!

Background on AdvoCare

AdvoCare was founded in 1993 by the late Charles E. Ragus. AdvoCare products are specifically designed to promote energy, help promote weight loss, and improve sports performance.

Unfortunately, there has been a bit of controversy surrounding AdvoCare. In 2019, the FTC ruled that Advocare was operating as an illegal pyramid scheme – the majority of AdvoCare distributors either made no money or lost money by joining the scheme.

AdvoCare agreed to pay $150 million for consumer refunds and the company was banned from multi-level marketing.

AdvoGreens Benefits

The brand claims that the formula is supposed to support digestive health, provide a feeling of fullness, and support overall health and wellbeing.

As you can see, there are actually not a lot of benefits associated with the AdvoGreens formula, which is odd considering it contains such potent ingredients – maybe they’re not sufficiently dosed!

AdvoGreens Ingredients

AdvoGreens contains 27 main ingredients.

The amounts of only four of these ingredients are fully disclosed since the rest all exist within proprietary blends. Therefore, it’s difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula!

However, more on that later! First, let’s take a look at the ingredients within the formula!

Here is the complete list of the AdvoGreens ingredients:

  • Grass and Vegetable Blend – 5.4g –Barley Grass, Spinach, Wheat Grass, Alfalfa Juice Concentrate, Broccoli, Kale, Spirulina Extract, Carrot, Green Tea Extract, Green Coffee Extract, Chlorella, Kelp.
  • Enzyme Blend – 420mg –Inulin, (Alpha & Beta Amylase, Protease I, Protease II, Lipase, Lactase, Hemicellulase, Cellulase, Invertase, Diastase), Lactobacillus Acidophilus.
  • Chia Seed – 300mg
  • Flax Seed – 300mg
  • Apple Fiber – 125mg
  • Pea Fiber – 100mg
  • Other Ingredients-Sugar, Natural Flavors, Citric Acid, Rebaudioside A (Stevia Extract), Honey.

Here is the supplement label:

AdvoGreens Label

How does AdvoGreens Taste?

AdvoGreens is Lemon flavored. It’s naturally flavored and sweetened with sugar, honey, and stevia extract.

Reviews concerning the taste of the formula are mixed, but the majority of people seem to think that the formula tastes overly sweet and extremely lemony, to the point where it’s unpleasant and difficult to drink.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the AdvoGreens formula. The brand suggests that those who are pregnant or nursing should consult a doctor before consuming this formula.

I would also suggest that if you are on medication or have a medical condition, you should also consult a doctor before consuming AdvoGreens.

Does AdvoGreens Work?

Unfortunately, only a few of the ingredients have their amounts actually shown on the AdvoGreens’ ingredients label.

However, these ingredients don’t have a recommended dose and therefore it’s impossible to say whether they will be effective or not.

The rest of the ingredients within Advogreens exist within proprietary blends, meaning it’s unclear how much of these ingredients actually exist in the formula.

Therefore, it’s difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula. However, we can take a look at the total amount of each blend and compare this amount to the recommended doses of the ingredients within each blend.

It’s clear that not all of the green ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed.

So, let’s get started trying to figure out the efficacy of the formula.

The only blend that contains ingredients with standard recommended doses is the Grass and Vegetable Blend.

The Grass and Vegetable Blend total 5.4g and since the combined recommended dose of wheatgrass, spirulina, chlorella, and green tea extract totals 6.25mg, not all of the ingredients within this blend can be sufficiently dosed.

The Enzyme, Prebiotic, and Probiotic blend may contain substantial doses of enzymes, probiotics, and prebiotics.

Overall, it’s clear that not all of the green ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed. Therefore, they may not be as effective as the brand claims they will.

Additionally, I don’t appreciate that the formula contains sugar!

AdvoGreens Reviews

Due to the fact that AdvoGreens is only available on the Advocare website, we can only take a look at the reviews of the formula on there.

Just be aware that since these reviews are on the brand’s own website, they may be biased. So, take them with a pinch of salt!

Overall, the formula has 572 customer reviews and scores a rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

The Advocare Greens has been life-changing. From a person who could never get “regular,” I love the change this has made. I like to mix this with my morning Spark so I never forget to drink it.5-star review

The taste isn’t bad but the lemon flavor is a little strong. I wanted to add it to my berry smoothies but the lemon is too overpowering.3-star review

I was looking for a replacement for the “green drink” I’ve drank every morning for 4 years. Unfortunately, this isn’t it. Way too sweet and lemon flavoring is way too strong.1-star review

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of AdvoGreens contains 20 servings of formula.

You can either buy the formula on a one-time purchase or you can become a “preferred customer” and save 20%.

On a one-time purchase, one tub of AdvoGreens costs $32.95, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.65.

As a preferred customer, one tub of AdvoGreens costs $26.35, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.32.

Unfortunately, since the formula contains sugar, doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, and not all of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed, I don’t think it’s worth the price that it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

Unfortunately, I’m not keen on the AdvoGreens formula for a number of reasons.

The formula is produced by AdvoCare, which has caused controversy in the past for being an illegal multi-level marketing company. Although I’m sure the brand has changed and evolved since then, I’m still not sure I’d buy from this brand.

The formula’s ingredients label is also not fully disclosed and not all of the green ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed.

Additionally, the formula doesn’t taste good and it’s expensive.

Overall, if you’re looking for a powerful super greens formula, I wouldn’t recommend this one. Instead, choose a super greens formula that has a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Navitas Superfood Greens First Impressions

The Navitas Organics website is bright, energetic, and packed with information. I specifically like the fact that the website has an engaging, informative, and genuinely interesting blog.

Navitas Superfood Greens seems like an intriguing greens formula on first impression, but I’m a little concerned about the fact that the powder only contains 3 ingredients in total.

However, I won’t judge it too quickly – I’m excited to take a closer look and learn more about it!

Navitas Superfood Greens only contains 3 ingredients in total. There’s absolutely no information about the amounts of each ingredient within the formula, meaning it’s hard to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, later in this review, we’ll take a look at the efficacy of the formula in more detail.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

  • Kale Powder, Wheatgrass Juice Powder, Moringa Powder.

How does Navitas Superfood Greens Taste?

Navitas Superfood Greens is unflavored and unsweetened, meaning it tastes pungent and natural!

Most of the customer reviews concerning the taste of the formula are negative. Some customers say that they can’t actually stand the taste of the formula and have had to stop consuming it because of that.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Navitas Superfood Greens formula.

However, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consuming the formula.

Does Navitas Superfood Greens Work?

Unfortunately, the Navitas Superfood Greens website doesn’t provide any information about the amounts of the ingredients within the formula.

Therefore, it’s completely unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This makes it incredibly difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, we can take a look at the serving size of the formula and compare it with the combined recommended doses of the ingredients within it.

The powder has the potential to be sufficiently dosed, but the ingredients label lacks transparency.

The serving size of the formula is 6g. Although kale powder doesn’t have a standard recommended dose, moringa and wheatgrass do.

The recommended dose of moringa is 1.5g and the recommended dose of wheatgrass is 3g. Therefore, the powder has the potential to be sufficiently dosed.

However, it’s definitely still not ideal that the formula’s ingredients label is not fully disclosed!

The Navitas Superfood Greens formula has 355 customer ratings and scores an overall rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.

In the majority of the reviews, even the most positive ones, customers claim that the formula tastes extremely unpleasant.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

I ordered this product based on my doctor's recommendation (highly recommended, I might add). We make a smoothie daily and even add other supplements to it. It does taste awful, but, following the suggestion on the package, we mixed it with pineapple juice. that did the trick. now i can enjoy the benefits of both the juice and the moringa that i am looking for. Thanks, Doc!5-star review

Where to buy Navitas Superfood Greens?

You can buy Navitas Superfood Greens from the Navitas Organics website and from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Navitas Superfood Greens contains 30 servings of formula.

Unlike other brands that offer discounted subscription options, there’s only one price that you can buy this formula for.

One tub of Navitas Superfood Greens costs $14.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $0.50.

Although the formula only contains three green ingredients and doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, the ingredients within the formula do have the ability to be sufficiently dosed.

Therefore, since it’s sold so cheaply, I do think it’s worth the price that it’s sold for.

My Final Verdict

Although I would typically not recommend a super greens formula that doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, I have to say that for those who are on a budget, this could be a great formula.

Even though the ingredients label is not disclosed, the ingredients definitely have the potential to be sufficiently dosed.

So, at a cost per serving of $0.50, it could be a good choice!

However, obviously, it goes without saying that if you have a slightly larger budget, you should choose a super greens formula that has a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Juce Greens Tub

What is Juce Greens?

The Juce Organics website is a bit old-school and a little basic, but it’s actually quite charming. The website is bold, colorful, and bright – it’s pleasing to look at.

The Juce Greens product page is a little lacking, to be honest – it’s unfortunate that there isn’t a lot of informative content on the page. However, the branding of the tub is colorful and engaging!

Overall, I’m keen to take a closer look at this formula and see what it’s really made of.

Background on Juce/Terra Kai Organics

Juce Organics is a brand of superfood supplements that exist under the Terra Kai Organics company, a nutrition company based in Mill Creek, Washington.

Adrian Vicente is the CEO of Terra Kai Organics. He believes in providing organic, wholesome, and fresh produce to those that can’t easily access it via organic and non-GMO superfood powders.

Juce Organics also produces a Juce Reds formula alongside Juce Greens.

Juce Greens Benefits

Juce Greens is supposed to provide the consumer with a range of essential vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, whilst also providing a number of other impressive health benefits.

The formula is supposed to boost the immune system, support heart health, reduce inflammation in the body, push toxins from the body, reduce bloating, protect the body from free radicals, and support the digestive system.

Juce Greens Ingredients

The Juce Greens formula contains 63 ingredients in total.

Unfortunately, it’s unclear how much of each ingredient exists within the formula since it’s made up of proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s difficult to know if the formula will actually be effective or not when consumed.

However, more on that later!

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients list!

Here is the complete list of the Juce Greens ingredients:

  • Organic Greens, Grass, and Fruits Blend – 3,000mg –Wheat Grass, Spirulina (blue-green algae), Barley Grass, Oat Grass, Alfalfa Leaf, Chlorella, Broccoli, Kale, Apple, Beet, Carrot, Green Cabbage, Parsley, Spinach, Alfalfa Sprouts, Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Tomato, Cranberry, Pomegranate, Açaí Berry (Euterpe oleracea), Blackberry, Black Currant, Cherry, Acerola, Bilberry, Banana, Pineapple, Orange Peel, Mango, Papaya, Peach, Pear, and Lemon Peel.
  • Organic Prebiotic Fiber Blend – 2,900mg –Green Pea Fiber, Gum Acacia, Oat Fiber, Flaxseed, Blue Green Agave Inulin, and Jerusalem Arthichoke Inulin.

Organic Immune Antioxidant Blend – 500mg – Maca Root, Green TEa Leaf, Matcha Green Tea, Eleuthero Root, Coffee Bean, American Ginseng Root, Maitake Mushroom, Resihi Mushroom, Himematsutake (Agaricus blazei) Mushroom, Bionectria Ochroleuca (from Caterpillar Mushroom), Turkey Tail Mushroom, Shiitake Mushroom, Lion’s Mane Mushroom (Hericium erinaceus), Zhu Ling Mushroom, Chaga Mushroom, and Meshimakobu Mushroom (Phellinus linteus).

  • Organic Detox Blend – 250mg –Moringa Leaf, Ginger Root, Garcinia cambogia Fruit Extract, Camu Camu Fruit, Ashwagandha Root, and Amla Fruit (Emblica officinalis).
  • Enzyme Blend – 50mg –Cellulase, Acid Protease, Fungal Proease, Protease, Alkaline Protease, Bromelain, and Papain.
  • Probiotic Blend – 500 Million CFU –B.coagulans, L. rhamnosus, B.bifidum, B.longum, L.acidophilus, L.casei, and S/thermophilus.
  • Other Ingredients –Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Natural Flavors, Organic Guar Gum, Citric Acid, and Organic Stevia Leaf (Rebaudioside A.).

Here is the supplement label:

Juce Greens Label

How does Juce Greens Taste?

Juce Greens is Harvest Apple flavor and is sweetened heavily with cane sugar and stevia leaf extract.

Although some customers seem to enjoy the taste of the formula, most customers think it’s too pungent and grassy tasting, which obviously isn’t pleasant!

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with the Juce Greens formula.

However, since the formula contains potent adaptogens, I would suggest that you consult a doctor before consumption if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or have a medical condition.

Does Juce Greens Work?

Juce Greens is made up of proprietary blends. Therefore, it’s impossible to know how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

This makes it incredibly difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula!

However, we can take a look at the total amounts of each blend and see if it’s possible for the ingredients within them to be sufficiently dosed.

So, let’s take a look at some of the blends!

The Organic Greens, Grass, and Fruits Blend total 3,000mg.

Since the combined dose of just four ingredients – spirulina, chlorella, acai berry, and wheatgrass – totals 5.2g, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this formula are sufficiently dosed.

Not all of the ingredients within this formula are sufficiently dosed.

However, the Prebiotic Fiber Blend totals 1,000mg and there’s only one ingredient within this blend that has a recommended dose – Jerusalem artichoke extract, which has a recommended dose of 600mg.

The same cannot be said for the Organic Immune Antioxidant Blend though.

This blend totals 500mg and the combined recommended dose of maca root, green tea, and ginseng, totals 3.45g. Therefore, clearly, this blend doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients either.

Finally, the Organic Detox blend only totals 250mg, but the recommended dose of just ashwagandha and moringa leaf powder totals 4.5g. Therefore, clearly, this blend also doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients!

Therefore, overall, it’s clear that not all of the ingredients within this formula are sufficiently dosed, meaning the benefits associated with this formula may not actually occur when the formula is consumed.

Additionally, the formula has a high dose of sugar, with 4g of sugar per serving.

Juce Greens Reviews

Juce Greens is available on Amazon, so we can take a look on there to see a large selection of customer reviews.

Overall, the formula scores a rating of 4.3 stars out of 5 stars, with a total of 229 ratings.

Although the product has quite a high overall rating, it concerns me that a lot of the negative reviews state that the consumer was sick after consuming it!

Nonetheless, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

Love at first sip. This is my new favorite green drink. So easy to mix and easy to drink. I accidentally let half of it sit for an hour or so while I got some work done, but I shook it up and it was still delicious! (This is noteworthy because I have purchased a different brand recently that tasted decent immediately after you mix it, but if you let it it more than 15 mins, it was like licking the dirt in a pasture) I am impressed with Juce Greens and see myself drinking it daily.5-star review

Pleased with fast shipping, well sealed container, and very pleasant tasting. Takes vigorous shaking in my blender bottle to dissolve, but I really like the apple taste, quite noted. VERY disappointed to see such short dating on my purchase. It's about half gone, but only 4 days left before it expires.3-star review

I am not even going to say anything about the potential health benefits of this product because I couldn't down even one serving of it with either water or juice. I suspect it's the Stevia that makes it so disgusting to me, but no matter what it is – this thing tasted like some of the worst medicine I've ever had the displeasure of sampling. Absolute non-starter.1-star review

Juce Organics doesn’t provide a money-back guarantee and there’s no clear return policy either.

Where to buy Juce Greens?

You can buy Juce Greens from the Juce Organics website and Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

Unlike other supplement brands, Juce doesn’t offer a cheaper subscription option, so there’s just one price that you can buy the formula.

One tub of Juce Greens contains 20 servings of formula and costs $24.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.25.

Since the formula is fairly cheap, this may be a good choice for someone with a budget just getting into the world of super greens powders!

However, due to the fact that not all of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed, I’m unsure whether I can say that it’s worth the price that it’s sold at!

My Final Verdict

I don’t necessarily think Juce Greens is a bad formula, but I don’t think it’s a great one either!

Unfortunately, the formula doesn’t have a fully disclosed ingredients label, and not all of the ingredients within the formula are sufficiently dosed. Therefore, the long list associated with the formula may not actually occur.

Additionally, the fact that the formula contains 4g of sugar per serving is concerning.

Therefore, overall, I would suggest that you look for a super greens formula that actually has a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

What is Sakara Protein + Greens?

Sakara is a huge company and the website reflects that – it’s packed with information, it’s beautifully designed, and the visuals and branding is spot on! I really like the website.

The Protein + Greens formula also makes a good first impression, the pouch looks sleek, bold, and eye-catching!

However, it would’ve been nice to see more factual information about the formula on the product page – it’s all a little glossy and lacking real facts for me.

Background on Sakara

Sakara, known fully as Sakara Life, is a nutrition and lifestyle brand that was founded in 2012 by best friends, Danielle Duboise and Whitney Tingle.

Sakara Protein + Greens contains 11 ingredients, including flavoring ingredients and sweeteners. The ingredients label is not fully disclosed due to the fact that the formula contains proprietary blends.

Therefore, it’s hard to work out the efficacy of the formula!

However, I’ll be looking more closely at that later in this review. First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Sakara Protein + Greens ingredients:

  • Plant Protein Blend – 17g –Organic Pea Protein, Organic Hemp Protein, Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein, Organic Sesame Protein.

So, let’s take a look at the Plant Protein Blend! This protein blend contains several plant-based proteins, but the overall dose of protein is 17g.

The recommended amount of protein per day is 0.36g per pound of body weight, so for the average man, this is 56g per day, and for the average woman, this works out at 46g per day.

Therefore, this blend provides nearly half of the daily recommended dose of protein, which is incredibly good!

The formula provides a high dose of protein, but the greens within it can’t be sufficiently dosed.

However, looking at the Super Greens Blend, it’s clear that the ingredients within the blend are not sufficiently dosed!

The blend totals 700mg, but the best spirulina brands have the recommended dose of 1g or more, wheatgrasses are 3g, and chlorella is 2g. Therefore, it’s clear that the formula does not provide sufficiently dosed ingredients.

So, overall, the formula provides a high dose of protein, but the greens within it can’t be sufficiently dosed. Therefore, this may as well just be marketed as a protein powder.

Sakara Protein + Greens Reviews

Although there are nearly 1,000 customer reviews of the formula on the Sakara website, they may be biased.

However, Sakara Protein + Greens is available on Amazon and therefore we can take a look on there to see honest reviews of the formula!

Overall, the formula has 36 global ratings and it scores 3.6 stars out of 5.

Unfortunately, it seems that many people that have ordered through Amazon have received expired batches, which could be the reason behind the low overall rating!

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

Had complicated surgery 5 years ago. Suddenly, Sephora began carrying this (on-line only) and for some reason the description made me buy this. The results were immediate. No pain, clear skin. Have been able to stop using 2 medications. I have bought this at Sakara, Sephora, and Amazon. This is a wonderful product.5-star review

After reading the reviews I thought I wouldn’t be given an expired batch… but I was. Really disappointing.2-star review

This is the worst thing I have ever tasted in my life. As two of the other reviewers state, it tastes like literal vomit. I’m not sure how something like this can even be on the market. It leaves a taste in your mouth afterward like you just threw up. Please do not waste your money trying this product. I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. It is absolutely disgusting! Undrinkable!

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Sakara doesn’t provide a money-back guarantee, and they do not offer returns either.

Where to buy Sakara Protein + Greens?

You can buy Sakara Protein + Greens from the Sakara website, or from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

You can buy Sakara Protein + Greens in a 10-single-serving sachet box or a 30-serving pouch.

Additionally, if you want to purchase a 30-serving pouch of formula, you can either purchase it on a single purchase or on a subscription.

  • A 10-single-serving sachet box has a cost per serving of $4.50
  • A 30-serving pouch on a one-time purchase costs $3.00
  • A 30-serving pouch on a subscription option costs $2.67

Since the formula definitely doesn’t provide a sufficient dose of greens ingredients, I think the formula is sold at a particularly high price!

A cost per serving of $4.50 is incredibly high!

However, if you’re looking for a plant-based protein powder, the 30-serving pouch on a subscription option is more reasonably priced at a cost per serving of $2.67.

My Final Verdict

My first impression of Sakara was really positive, and to be honest, I’m sure the company does provide some good quality supplements.

Regarding the Sakara Protein + Greens formula, I'm in two minds about it.

If you’re looking for a plant-based protein formula, this could be a good choice for you since it contains a high dose of protein.

However, if you’re looking to benefit from the greens within the formula, you’re going to be disappointed.

Unfortunately, there’s no way that the greens within the formula are sufficiently dosed. So, you’re not going to benefit from them!

It’s also a very, very expensive formula!

So, if you’re looking for a plant-based protein powder and you’re not bothered about the price, this might be a good formula for you. However, if you’re looking to benefit from greens, look elsewhere!

What is Love Life Organic Greens?

I really like the Love Life Supplements website – it’s clean, sleek, sophisticated, and informative. I particularly like how much information the company has shared about the company, and the engaging blog is nice too!

The Love Life Organic Greens formula looks intriguing. I like the clean yet eye-catching aesthetic of the tub and there’s a substantial amount of information about the benefits associated with the ingredients in the formula.

However, my concern is that there’s a lack of transparency from the company with regard to the amount of each ingredient in the formula.

It’s going to be interesting to take a closer look at the formula!

Background on Love Life Supplements

Love Life Supplements was founded in 2012 by Ben Law. Law got into the health and wellness industry just a few years before launching Love Life Supplements after leaving a day-to-day job in IT.

The company has grown exponentially over the last decade and it currently sells a huge range of supplements, from collagen and protein to superfood powders and herbal supplements.

There’s a selection of organic supplements produced by the brand, including the Organic Greens formula.

Love Life Organic Greens Benefits

Love Life Supplements actually provides a lot of information about the benefits associated with this formula and even goes into detail about the benefits of each ingredient within the formula, which is great!

For example, “Organic Spinach – this dark leafy green is an excellent source of vitamins K, A and C as well as folate, manganese, magnesium, iron and vitamin B2. Helps to support healthy bones”.

Overall, the formula is supposed wanting to push toxins from the body, boost energy levels, improve the immune system, and support the gut.

Love Life Organic Greens Ingredients

The Love Life Organic Greens formula contains 9 ingredients in total.

Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no information about the amount of each ingredient within the formula. Therefore, it’s impossible to know whether or not these ingredients are sufficiently dosed or not.

However, I’ll be looking more closely into the efficacy of the formula later in this review.

First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label!

Here is the complete list of the Love Life Organic Greens ingredients:

  • Organic Wheatgrass, Organic Chlorella, Organic Spirulina Powder, Organic Seagreens, Organic Spinach, Organic Kale Powder, Organic Inulin, Lactospore®, Natural Flavouring with Sweetener (Steviol Glycosides).

Here is the supplement label:

How does Love Life Organic Greens Taste?

You can either purchase Love Life Organic Greens in Orange and Lime flavor or Unflavored. The flavored version of the formula is also sweetened with stevia extract.

However, unfortunately, reviews concerning the taste of the formula are not positive!

Reviews of both the Unflavored and the Orange and Lime flavored formula aren’t positive! Most customers agree that the flavored formula tastes overly sweet yet the Unflavored formula tastes pungent.

Some customers even state that they literally cannot stomach the formula.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Love Life Organic Greens, although the brand states that no one under the age of 18 should consume the formula.

However, Love Life Supplements warns that anyone who is pregnant, nursing, on medication, or with a medical condition, should consult a doctor before consuming the formula.

Does Love Life Organic Greens Work?

The Love Life Organic Greens formula doesn’t just have a fully disclosed ingredients label because it contains proprietary blends – this formula has absolutely no information about the amounts of the ingredients within the formula.

Therefore, it’s absolutely impossible to even make an informed estimate of how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

Obviously, this is less than ideal!

We can’t confirm whether the formula will work since there’s a lack of transparency, but it’s possible that it contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

However, there is a possibility that the formula contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

The serving size of the formula totals 13.5g, and since the combined recommended doses of wheatgrass, organic chlorella, organic spirulina powder total 5g, it’s entirely possible that each serving of this formula provides sufficiently dosed ingredients!

Therefore, although we can’t confirm whether or not the formula will actually work since there’s a lack of transparency from the brand, it’s definitely possible that the formula contains sufficiently dosed ingredients.

Love Life Organic Greens Reviews

Love Life Organic Greens is available on Amazon, which is where I typically look to see a selection of unbiased and honest customer reviews.

Overall, the formula scores a rating of 4.2 stars out of 5 stars, with a total of 151 ratings.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

I have tried several green powders and must say that this one is excellent. I usually have this after my morning workout with the juice of half a lemon and topped up with ice-cold water. It makes me feel super hydrated and full of energy for the day. Love the fact that the ingredients are organic which many other powders do not achieve. Well done LLS another great product!5-star review

Good product in terms of ingredients, but it is honestly disgusting. When I do work up the courage to have some, I hold my nose as I drink it and then follow it up with a gulp of coffee.3-star review

Literally most disgusting thing I've ever tasted (lemon and lime). Couldn't stomach that awful artificial lemon taste even when blended with frozen berries. Think the greens without the added flavor would taste fine. Definitely go for original flavour!1-star review

Where to buy Love Life Organic Greens?

You can buy Love Life Organic Greens on the Love Life Supplements website and from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

One tub of Love Life Organic Greens contains 30 servings of formula. You can either buy the formula on a one-off option or on a subscription.

One tub of Organic Greens, on a one-off purchase, costs £28.95 ($38.91), meaning the cost per serving works out at £0.97 ($1.30).

One tub of Organic Greens, on a subscription, costs £35.99 ($, meaning the cost per serving works out at £0.89 ($1.20).

Although the formula doesn’t have a disclosed ingredients label, it has a large serving size and therefore may contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, meaning I do think the formula is worth the price that it’s sold at.

My Final Verdict

I have mixed feelings about the Love Life Supplements Organic Greens formula.

On one hand, the formula has a completely undisclosed ingredients label and typically, I would definitely not recommend a formula like this.

However, on the other hand, the formula has a large serving size and therefore definitely has the potential to provide sufficiently dosed ingredients.

So, although I would definitely recommend you purchase a super greens formula that has a fully disclosed ingredients label and definitely contains sufficiently dosed ingredients if you really want to purchase this formula, go for it – it may benefit you.

Isagenix Greens is a super greens powder that contains a range of potent green ingredients, algae, and herbal extracts.

The formula is supposed to provide essential vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients to the consumer in a tasty, easy-to-make, and nourishing way.

All of the ingredients within the formula are gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, and suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and those on keto diets.

Isagenix is a US-based multi-level marketing company that’s incredibly popular around the world, and since the Greens formula is one of its most popular supplements, I’m keen to take a closer look to figure out if it really packs a punch or falls short.

What is Isagenix Greens?

I’m really not a fan of Isagenix’s website. It’s obvious that this company is an MLM type of company – the website is pretty basic, the branding of the products doesn’t stand out, and there’s not a lot of informative content on there!

Similarly, the Isagenix Greens formula looks pretty bland. There’s also a real lack of information about the benefits associated with the formula, as well as the ingredients within it.

My first impressions aren’t great, so I’m definitely hoping it blows me away when I start to take a closer look at it.

Background on Isagenix

Isagenix is a multi-level marketing company based in the USA but operating in over 17 international markets. The company was founded in 2002 by John Anderson, Jim Coover, and Kathy Coover.

Isagenix produces dietary supplements, meal packs, and beauty products. The Greens formula is one of its newest and best-sellers.

Although I am not and never have been a fan of MLM companies, the company is open about the fact that it’s an MLM company, which is a start at least!

Isagenix Greens Benefits

There are actually no specific benefits associated with this formula, which seems slightly odd!

Instead, the company simply claims that the Greens formula will provide the consumer with important vitamins minerals, and phytonutrients.

Isagenix Greens Ingredients

Isagenix Greens contains 18 ingredients in total.

Unfortunately, there’s a real lack of information about how much of each ingredient exists within the formula.

The brand has chosen not to show the amount of every ingredient, but instead show the percentage of certain ingredients within the formula.

This lack of transparency is a huge issue and makes working out the efficacy of the formula difficult.

However, I’ll be looking more closely at that later in this review. First, let’s take a look at the ingredients label.

Here is the complete list of the Isagenix Greens ingredients:

  • Spinach Powder (33.5%), Kale Powder (27%), Pea Flakes, Sweet Potato Powder, Carrot Powder, Natural Flavourings, Thickener (Guar Gum), Spirulina (2.4%), Dehydrated Apple, Broccoli Powder (1.1%), Quinoa Powder, Coconut Water, Chlorella (0.5%), Purple Corn Powder, Sweetener (Steviol Glycosides), Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Turmeric Powder, Purple Carrot Powder.

Here is the supplement label:

How does Isagenix Greens Taste?

Isagenix claims that the Greens formula tastes minty and cucumbery, although it’s not specifically flavored. However, it is sweetened with stevia extract.

Reviews concerning the taste of the formula don’t seem to be very positive – it seems to be pungent and overpowering. However, there are some customer’s that state they enjoy the taste of the formula.

Side Effects

There are no side effects associated with Isagenix Greens. In fact, the brand actually suggests that the formula can be consumed by anyone from 4 years and up.

However, I would suggest that if you are pregnant, nursing, on medication, or have a medical condition, you should consult a doctor before consumption.

Does Isagenix Greens Work?

Isagenix Greens doesn’t have a fully disclosed label, making it difficult to work out the efficacy of the formula.

However, unlike other formulas on the market, the Isagenix Greens formula doesn’t contain proprietary blends, but it shows absolutely no information about most ingredients, but some information about specific ones.

When it comes to showing information about these specific ingredients, the company has also chosen to show the amounts of these ingredients as percentages, which makes it more of an effort for you if you try to work out the efficacy of the formula!

However, fear not, let’s take a look at these highlighted ingredients and see if the percentage lines up with the standard recommended dose of them!

Firstly, it’s clear that a lot of this formula is simply spinach powder.

In fact, 33.5% of the formula, or 3.02g is spinach powder! Although spinach powder doesn’t have a recommended dose, this is clearly a substantial dose of this ingredient and therefore, that’s fine!

The most potent ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed, and the lack of transparency is very concerning.

The same goes for kale powder – there’s 27% (or 2.43g) of kale powder within the formula, and although it doesn’t have a standard recommended dose, this is a substantial amount.

However, the issues start when we look at the ingredients that do have standard recommended doses!

There’s only 216mg (2.4%) of spirulina within the formula, but the recommended dose is 1g, minimum.

There’s only 45mg (0.5%) of chlorella within the formula, but the recommended dose is 2g, minimum.

Clearly, both of these ingredients are nowhere near sufficiently dosed and therefore the consumer may not be provided with these benefits.

Additionally, it’s completely unclear what the dose of the other ingredients within the formula actually exists within this formula.

Therefore, overall, some of the most potent ingredients within the formula are not sufficiently dosed, and quite frankly, the lack of transparency is very concerning.

Isagenix Greens Reviews

Surprisingly for a product produced by an MLM company, Isagenix Greens is actually available on Amazon and therefore we can take a look on there to see a selection of honest and hopefully unbiased customer reviews.

Overall, the formula has a total of 95 customer ratings and it scores 4.4 stars out of 5 stars.

So, let’s take a look at some of these reviews!

I used to manage a health food store (years ago), and I love this product because it's not formulated to be a supplement, but rather it's a concoction of quite a number of very healthy greens. I find after using it for a few days, I have more energy and bounce. Good stuff, all natural.5-star review

As with all well-being products its hard to know if there is a benefit. I ordered this as i was having surgery and thought i might need the extra support. I can tell you i recovered quickly and easily from the surgery. Will i buy more, not sure, think if i eat plenty of salads and veg it will be the same. But this product tasted okay, not great, and served its purpose for me.4-star review

Love this product but the current price is ridiculous! Great way to get your veggies and super for adding fiber to your diet. Finding a dealer to buy it from is very hard so it was awesome when Amazon had it for a reasonable price. Anything over $40 is not reasonable.1-star review

Money-Back Guarantee / Returns Policy

Isagenix doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee and returns are out of the question for single-time buyers.

However, the Isagenix website states that for sellers, there is a fully detailed Return and Refund Policy in the “Compliance” section of the Back Office Library.

Where to buy Isagenix Greens?

You can buy Isagenix Greens from the Isagenix website or from Amazon.

Is It Worth The Price?

Since Isagenix is an MLM company, there are two price options of the Greens formula – one for preferred customers, and a retail price for people buying it on a one-off.

One tub of Isagenix Greens contains 30 servings of formula.

If you are purchasing the formula on a one-time purchase and you’re not a preferred customer, the cost of one tub totals $51.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.73.

If you are a preferred customer, one tub costs $38.99, meaning the cost per serving works out at $1.30.

Since this formula doesn’t have a disclosed ingredients label, doesn’t contain sufficiently dosed ingredients, and is made by an MLM company, I don’t think it’s worth the price that it’s sold at!

My Final Verdict

Unfortunately, I’m left unimpressed by the Isagenix Greens formula.

Not only do I not like MLM companies, but this greens formula completely lacks a transparent ingredients label, it doesn’t have sufficiently dosed ingredients, and it doesn’t have a clear return policy.

If you’re looking for a high-quality greens powder that is actually going to provide you with health benefits, look elsewhere!
